Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was disappointing. The photos did not match the actual condition of the rooms. Everything felt very old and outdated, including the floors, furniture, and bathroom.
There was no air conditioning, which was especially difficult given how hot and humid the area is. The only ceiling fan was weak and barely worked, even on the highest setting, so it wasn’t enough to keep the room comfortable. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work at all during our stay.
Overall, the lack of comfort and basic amenities made it difficult to stay, and we had to book another hotel that same night, which was very inconvenient.

The family bungalow was clean but old but reasonable for the price. The stairs to the upper floor was steep and the steps huge and I wouldn't recommend it for small children. The bungalow had aircon but only on the top level, though the bottom floor would be cold after a while. No mozzie screens in front of windows, and doors wouldnt close a 100%. Small fridge in the room but electric kettle and cups only available after request. Room cleani g and change of towels only available after request. The breakfast is very basic but the staff is very very friendly. Pool area is great and although the location is in the middlenof Kuta, it is very quiet and peaceful. 10 minute walk to the beach through Poppy's Lane and felt very safe. But what really really stood out is the Flow Beauty Spa which is located within the hotel grounds: Don't bother going anywhere else this is absolutely the best Spa for massages of any kind and facials! Prices are very cheap and staff is professional and know their trade. Absolutely a must, book in advance, you won't be dissapointed!!

You get what you pay for and this suited us fine for a short stay in Kuta. Clean rooms with a bed and shower. Good airconditioning. Breakfast is eggs, toast and fruit. Staff were lovely. Pool was very nice. Close to everything in Kuta. No complaints at all at this price point.

Very basic hotel. Very clean but old. Only one power outlet. Totally inadequate with modern phone and device charging necessities. Wifi adequate. Staff all extremely helpful and pleasant. Bathroom has a shower/bath. No good for the elderly or anyone with any mobility or infirmity issues. Breakfast is literally, coffee, toast and an egg. Very convenient to local shops,cafes and not too far from the beach. Maybe 1km. Or so.

Very old property, in need of serious renovations.the bungalow has AC only upstairs,so if you are sleeping on the main floor there is only a fan.bring your own toiletries wherever you are staying, as some places don't provide the basics,( soap, shampoo). This place had soap.the breakfast was good and the pool was clean.As with everything in Bali, there is a hidden fee for everything. if you want to play pool at the pool table in the lobby, you have to pay. If you want fruits for breakfast, you have to pay extra.

Really didn’t want to leave a review as I feel it’s a secret gem, it’s a beautiful old style complex the rooms are basic but beautiful, the pool is clean & perfect temp, for the price you couldn’t get much better. It’s a 8min stroll to main roads along the alley but shops to stop at on the way & I feel safe walking on my own. A local cafe is a 2min walk. Just missed having a kettle to make coffee when I wanted. Highly recommended

This was my second stay at Fuji Bungalows this year. It is tucked away from the busy lanes of Kuta. The only real noise is the early morning chanting from the local temple. Set on expansive grounds these series of bungalows are basic but well maintained. They are set far enough apart that you seem to be holidaying alone. The pool is immaculate and is cleaned each morning. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included - eggs, fruit, toast and coffee. Its only a short walk to restaurants, massage, circle K, Aussie bars and laundry services.

No doubt if you want stay alone or quiet place then this place is ok but few things I want to say owners can upgrade the property by maintaining the footpath, bathrooms need attention as they are filthy and no sockets on the wall to charge your phone or anything else, I am using CPAC machine for my breathing when sleeping and there was no socket on the wall, breakfast was like a joke one egg and two toast with black tea and few pieces of fruit.

Would highly recommend if staying in Kuta. Walking distance to everything but secluded enough to not be kept up at night. Don’t expect luxury but more like an authentic Bali experience with cosy bungalows, surrounded by greenery and a nice pool to cool off. The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile. Excellent value for money!

We really enjoyed our stay at Suji bungalows. The property would benefit from a little TLC and the bathrooms in particular could do with updating but it still represents great value for money. The resort is in a pretty good location, just beyond the very busy beach zone, there are eating options around. The resort certainly shows its age but the employees do well to keep it clean and orderly all the same. The pool is modern and very adequate though. The bungalows aren't big but are sufficient for two. They are kind of dark though and the spindles on the windows do make it feel like being in a jail a bit. I'd personally throw a couple of coats of white paint on the dark varnished parts of the walls and ceilings to brighten it up, but that's just me. The clientele seems to be mostly of retirement age.
All in all, it was adequate, especially given the reasonable price - can't expect a Hilton if you aren't paying for a Hilton.

What a lovely place to stay. Is definitely not luxurious, but an authentic Balinese experience. Set on expansive grounds, each bungalow is in traditional style. You would have no idea that you are in the middle of Kuta. The pool is lovely and is cleaned daily. As it is not too deep, it can heat up throughout the day. The breakfast is basic but you would expect that at this price. It's a quick walk to the beach, laundry, restaurants and the new Beachside shopping mall, which pretty much replaces Kuta Mall as a shopping destination. The staff were lovely. In fact, when I checked in late at night, the person on the front desk went and purchased beer on my behalf. I've really enjoyed my 9 day stay here.

We are very disappointed in the property. The pictures were not representative of the actual bungalows. All areas were unmaintained, breakfast included was disappointing with only eggs or pancakes on offer. The rooms smelled musty upon arrival and staff were not friendly. There was no bottled water in the bar fridges so we had to purchase it from the check in area. Unfortunately the rooms remained unmade in spite of us hanging signs for cleaning. The towels were old and smelly and we stopped eating the limited breakfast options opting to eat externally and a significant cost daily. Overall it was not the best experience by way of accommodation and we do not plan to return to Suji Bungalows again

No idea why this hotel has such a high rating, which was the reason why I booked it for my gf.
First: Deluxe room should have free water which is usual for other hotels, Suji is charging for this
Second: Breakfast, every morning toast which was pretty hard, partly burned. No other choices, if want to order something different, have to pay
Free WiFi, incredible unstable and weak, had to ask for the password to get a notebook connected.

Best place to stay in Kuta beach for a good price.
Nice place to stay. Swimming pool always well maintained with clear water (and note that it is not easy to maintain a pool properly. I know because I have worked in swimming pools in USA for a while). The location is perfect: close to Kuta Beach and close to Jalan Legian. But not so close to Jalan Legian to hear that noisy street.
