We got to the hotel early and we’re allowed to check in about an hour after we got there, which was about three hours before actual check-in. The staff was amazing the buffet breakfast varied every day so there was something for people who were meat heavy and more vegetable heavy. They are updating the facility and are in the process of doing some renovations, but the noise was minimal and the properties already starting to look a little more glamorous. It’s a good price for your money. The rooms were nice very well air-conditioned and every room has a balcony for the price. This room was amazing and I will go back to that hotel in a minute.

Very noisy renovations I only booked 2 weeks before I got there and if I had known I probably wouldn’t have booked there. Room was nice but had ants the last 3 days on bench top and the back pool has had the pool ladder removed so I couldn’t get in our out. I’m not mobile enough to climb out without support. But otherwise good breakfast and nighttime quiet and I love the surroundings

Breakfast best in Bali at all previous accommodation. Bed very comfortable sheets clean. Room good size. Our tv wasn’t working so they exchanged straight away to a smart tv. Staff very helpful. Reasonably quiet no noise heard after 11.30pm

3 min walk to beachwalk shopping centre, 1 min walk to beach. Yet very quiet and has two pools, staff friendly. Poo table but only had one stick and no chalk.
Rooms are good, air con in our room was not great, hardly kept room cold, the TV had no channels that you could watch as static on all of them.
Breakfast is good each morning.
Rats running around the pool area, but I found this is common in Bali atm, seen them everywhere.

We like this property very much, location is terrific and staff are very helpful and friendly. The only negative would be the breakfast, drinking water should be chilled and butter cold, not melted. We had a problem with the toilet, it needed 2 or 3 pushes to work but on us we didn’t say anything till we left. only single mattresses on king single bases that were a bit hard. Pools were great food pretty good and staff were very good. Overall good stay

Wina is a nice spot for couple and families alike. Has two pools and does a good breakfast. Rooms are big and tidy. Water pressure is a little weak in shower in our room. We got an upgrade on checkin. Free pool table you can use near one of the pools. Check in not until 2.30pm which they stick too.

Bad place to stay

Hotel was absolutely disgusting. From broken toilet to blocked showers, hard beds and pillows dirty sinks after being cleaned. Very poor repair work on all maintenance jobsthis place is not what it seems on the web sites cold low pressure showers every day ,water from shower was like salty pool water Completely run down hotel. If you are thinking of staying here DON'T. What a dirty place .stay somewhere else. You have been warned.

Check in was easy. Staff are all friendly and helpful.
My room is large with good bed. Pool is right outside the room. Dining also about ten meters away. Pool has a swim up bar also. Shower is good with soaps. In room safe which is easy to use. Breakfast is very good with an egg station and plenty of other foods to choose. Plenty of places to walk and main shopping centre about 100m away.

Ok where do i start, This was suppose to be my mums 60 birthday celebration however it was just a nightmare from when they arrived. The staff were not helpful and didnt care when issues were raised. The pool was really hot and full of chemicals, which is not good for your body or eyes. Yes there should be chemicals but not that much it hurts your eyes. the bathtub couldn't hold any water due to the plug not being functional. The fridge in the room was leaking water, the front desk did try fix this was the only thing they tried to do but it was still leaking which is such a hazard near electrical. While walking out from there room there was a RAT in the hallway, not too sure if it was alive as it didnt move. The whole experience was the worst, my parents went out that first night and booked somewhere else. They told the hotel the next day they were leaving and the staff didnt care. They lost the full amount they paid. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, there are better ones in bali.

Enjoyed our stay quiet staff nice and helpful rooms clean but would have been good to have a chair or 2 in the room there was space for this. Breakfast very tasty and a good variety of dishes but previously there was back gate access but now locked they told us it is being looked into. Older people found the pool tiles a bit slippery as they have used wall tiles as floor tiles so had to be very cautious. But on the other hand will come again. 2 good size pools

Staff were lovely but that's where it ended. First night we had cold showers, fixed in the morning to then have another cold shower the 2nd night. Finally fixed after I complained again, builders were turning hot water off throughout the day. Shower drain was blocked so flooded bathroom when having a shower. Bathroom is tiny and urine stains on toilet seat, dirty. Sheets and towels clean though. Renovations going on throughout the hotel that we had no idea about, hotel is very run down and it would have been nice to know that renovations were happening. Didn't change hotels as it was our last 3nights after moving around the Island and didn't want to waste time moving. I wouldn't recommend staying here until Reno completed.

A hotel wina villas nightmare.

Hotel Wina bali advertised hotel bar, no bar.
Hotel Wina also advertised 3 pools but one was green colour and roped off and out of bounds.Hotel had bad paint work, mould on fridge,shower was hardly a trickle when turned on,taps filthy,wooden table was damaged,water leak from ceiling,filthy bedding,cracked tiles, filthy kettle. We left after one night and asked for refund which was ages in being refunded and many visits to the hotel.The hotel said they were closing down but still tsking booking as my son checked on line.AVOID THIS HOTEL WINA AND DONT LET THEM SPOIL YOUR HOLIDAY ALSO.

This is my 6th stay at this resort if you want stay in kuta its ideal for local shopping and bars staff are friendly and happy to accommodate when they can rooms can get a bit smelly but will sort out as much as they can its very Balinese and not expensive when full breakfast buffet is on pr covid its great there buffet from the 1st of may 2022 was limited with asian breakfast but were happy to make American if you asked overall was a good stay they have 3 swim up bars one was closed the swim up bars were closed but pools were clean i $pd ..$547.AUD for 20 nights cannot complain

Our rooms are facing a giant steel fence. We had to kill a few spiders ourselves. An extra-large roach with wings entered our room and mosquitos. We had to call front desk several times requesting pest control. Although the sheets smelled really sour our room had an old musky smell. Overall the room appeared clean and we all had a good night’s sleep. Daily housekeeping changed the room smell and the room became comfortable over time.

When we first arrived at this hotel in our taxi, we were met at the car by an employee. The man spoke with our taxi driver. The taxi driver told us that the man stated that there was not any staff at the desk and to keep our bags in the taxi. We were told to have a seat outside and wait. We were then met outside the front entrance in front of the taxi and questioned if we had reservations. I showed my reservation number on my phone to the woman. She then asked us to continue waiting outside whilst she entered the building. After a few minutes, me and my two children were finally invited inside the hotel. I was then questioned further by a female staff about when our reservation was made and where we were coming from. We were asked for our passports and to sit in the lobby and wait. After some time, we were given Coca-Cola as a welcome drink. The staff then apologized for our wait and told us that it would be approximately 20 minutes to prepare our rooms. We waited so long, we have enough time to order McDonalds and have it delivered to the lobby. Not too long after our food arrived from Grab. We were given a tour of the property pool areas and dining area, then brought to our rooms.

Throughout our month long stay in this hotel, we woke up a few days with no water coming out of the faucets and toilet unable to flush. We called front desk and after approximately four to five hours, the problem was fixed. Also, one day our internet was off overnight through to approximately two in the afternoon the following day. This was really difficult because internet is necessary for my employment and my two children online school program. Without internet there is no television either.
The hotel has old motel feel, the elevator is not functioning, room doors did not lock properly, there is no functioning restaurant on site, we kill bugs in our room daily, I rarely see staff on site, and sometimes our calls to front desk are ignored/unanswered. However, the swimming pool is very clean, housekeeping kept our room clean and comfortable everyday, throughout our stay. And, this hotel is only a few minutes walk to Beachwalk mall and to the beach. This is why we decided to stay an additional week.

Beautiful traditionally Balinese designed Hotel.

We came here 3 times already and will come back as soon as possible!!!
The hotel is less than 200 meters walk from the beach, a short walk to tons of restaurants, shops etc. yet very quiet.
All is great! The pools, the rooms, the amazing breakfast buffett (don't miss it!), the beautiful sculptures all around. and most of all the manager and the staff! Thanks so much again for everything!!!

Great location in Kuta Beach. Close to beach, many many restaurants and shopping. The hotel was a lovely Balanese style hotel designed around three courtyards of pools and gardens. We used the travel service to organize a driver for 3 different tours.

Love this place cheap and cheerful, although I am critical of one point, that being when you check out, they go check your mini bar and make you stand in the foyer as if you are some sort of criminal, even when I told them we never used it and I had a car waiting, you can use the card supplied if you find anything, no need for me to be there and I didn't use it anyway.

Fantastic Balinese style Villa

We stayed at the Wina Villa for 6 days , its our second visit and its still as good as ever, all the staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of there way to make your stay pleasant.
Rooms are clean, breakfast is good and changes everyday,house keeping always on time.
Cannot fault this Villa would highly recommend it.

This is a good low budget hotel ..

However: Management seem to have forgotten that it is in Bali and strictly enforce the pool closes at 8.00PM rule.
So you get back to the hotel stinking hot and dying for a swim but the pool police won't let u grrr.. Most hotels we have stayed at have a 10.30 or later rule, and even then even if u are quiet will allow a quiet dip.

I also hated being served warm beers at the pool bar... If a one man show on the beach with a esky and some ice can serve ice cold beer. I fail to see how a multi national hotel group can't do the same.

Our room was nice and clean, the bed comfortable, the staff kind and helpful. It is close to some restaurants and shopping mall, but the area itself is really dirty. We swam in the sea in Kuta beach only once, because the water was full of rubbish and plastic bags.

It was a really nice place to stay, it is not one of these new buildings so some bits of the hotel looked old and dated. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very close to the beach. Only downside is there is not enough sun loungers to guest ratio. But other than that I really enjoyed my stay there!

Stayed at Wina holiday Villa on our first visit to Bali.
While its not five star we found it good value
If what you are looking for is clean room with comfortable bed with good air con at an affordable price .
The room was clean ,as were the sheets ( Bonus for somewhere in this price range)
Motel is nearly 40 years old but by no means run down although some areas are showing signs of age.
Food at onsite restaurant is decent quality but not gourmet.
Staff are friendly and always polite
Located just off Kuta beach but once you walk down the lane way there is no noise or traffic .There is a rear lane way that takes you direct into the local shopping and restaurants .

Good location ive stayed here 6 times. Right out front of beach. Besssst pool. Quiet but friendly. It's a traditional Balinese hotel and very beautiful gardens. Most staff are lovely. But the standard of customer service has slipped so much I'm considering not returning. Overall a great hotel. Wifi used to be good. But was terrible on my recent stay. All things fixable. But good place to chill out and safe. The security guards are the loveliest people.

Third time at this hotel always ready to please,arrived late at night so was a bit disappointed about our room lots of stairs and older style. In the morning our friends showed us their room and it had been renovated and I did the bookings. So I asked if there was any other rooms and they ask us the check after 2pm. To my surprise they were waiting at the front door of the hotel and asking if we still wanted to change room and this was 8pm after a big day out. They showed me a renovate room and up graded us! Thanks you Wina! We will be back. And love the big breakfasts.

need of urgent epairs

The hotel is in need of urgent repairs and upkeep of the pools as both pools have damaged tiles and sharp edges. Both myself and 5 yo daughter had cuts from sharp broken tiles in the pools. Also rooms need a bit of upgrade as it seems that the hotel has not had any upgrades since it it was built 20 years ago.
Breakfast was same everyday no variety and not appertising.

As the title suggests this older resort is in need of some maintenance. Staff are all accommodating but that only goes so far. Location is the bonus as it is between kuta beach and Legian and is a reasonable walk to both those areas

WINA HOLIDAY VILLA KUTA - VALUE FOR MONEY STAY

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE. WE WERE COLLECTED FROM THE AIRPORT IN THEIR SHUTTLE FOR A SMALL FEE. WE WERE ABLE TO HIRE A SCOOTER RIGHT THERE AND GET ABOUT EASILY. HOTEL WAS WELL KEPT WITH TWO BEAUTIFUL POOLS. ALL ROUND VALUE FOR MONEY HERE
RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL AS WELL

Check in was abit slow, they weren't the most helpful with our bags. The restaurant was also a bit of a hit and miss. Breakfast buffet was good, until we saw one of the staff scrape left over rice from a customers plate back into the serving dish.
The pools are very nice and so was the swim up bar. The location was also very good. Close to the markets and beach.

a great hotel....2 pools..gardens are beautiful....rooms very good for the price...I have stayed there 7 times now and will not go anywhere else staff excellent if you book a room ask for room at back pool area....best rooms and very quiet

The gardens and the pool are are beautiful, the breakfast is good, with a variety of food. The rooms are big and spacious but the AC does not work properly. It wasn't enough to keep the whole room cool, and when asking the reception for help their answer was to wait 20 minutes for it to cool down, they said it has a set temperature and is not possible to make it cooler. After two hours it was the same. Withe the heat and humidity at Bali, AC is very important.

Disgusting dirty and falling apart

Unsatisfactory hotel very dirty and falling apart worst hotel ever stayed in Bali. The only nice thing is that it had nice garden. The tiles in the pools are all falling off. Been going to Bali for many years and this is the first time that we have ever left a hotel and moved to another.

Overall we enjoyed our stay due to the great location and cost of the hotel however the rooms are quite old and the pictures make it seem far better than it actually is. Breakfast is very eastern and the pool drinks are quite expensive. The pools are very nice and the location is great for the beach and nightlife area. Room tip, don't get a conjoined room.

Staff can't do enough to help make your stay comfortable . Lovely traditional feel, with great bar and restaurant with beautiful pools and simple facilities Just far enough up the lane to get away from the hustle and bustle
