We would have appreciated knowing that there was all day 8am-4pm loud construction going on all day . After a few hours of the noise and the aircon barely working we decided to leave! There was no discount offered or compensation, so we will try to work with Expedia in hope for a refund

its a good location if you like to be close to the beach. Access is through a narrow alley from main road. it was formerly under best western brand but they dropped it. it sits in the 2.5/3 star level. and price is on high side.

There’s minimal amenities, given the price point of the hotel, it is expected of this standard. There’s only one bath towel each guest in the room. There’s also a stench in the room like moist and damp sheets smell

the location was good walking distance to everything, the staff was great everyday and spoke good english, the tour guides all know where this place is and the breakfast buffet was quite extensive, lots of choices. the room was clean , comfortable and had all the things needed, the room attendants were marvelous,especially Duqus and Amanda, they made awesome towel swans and made me feel like i was on a cruise ship, with special notes with thoughtful words. they also had nightly events on the rooftop at the bar which was very nice as well as the pool, , it has a mini mart right on the corner and a money exchange across the street,for the money per night this was a great find,,its not the ritz carlton but a very good deal for a nice place

Stayed a week and really enjoyed their included buffet breakfast. Location is a short walk to the Beachwslk shopping center and only 3 minutes to the beach
3.5 miles to airport, although Kuta traffic is quite sluggish and takes about 20-24 minutes.
I originally booked 2 days but realized this was a great place compared to others.

Room is too small. Too much noise can't sleep. Smallest pool and not deep. Only 8 sunbeds for entire hotel at pool. Customer service is pathetic. Much better options to stay somewhere else for same price in the area. Would not stay again.

Very nice sunset and would stay here again ..

We enjoyed ourstay at Citadines. The location is right in the middle of Kuta and across the street from the beach. You're close to shopping and plenty of restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful, didn't have a single issue during my stay there. Great price for the great value. Thank you again, Citadines, for our lovely holiday.

Prime Location Across the Street from Kuta Beach

One thing I would like to point out is that this hotel is indeed located at Kuta Beach which means its alot more busier and more so of a city. There's plenty of tourism so if that's what you're looking for than this is the perfect place.
I had booked my stay at Best Western Kuta Beach via Expedia.ca but had missed the date making it a day shorter than required. When I had arrived they advised me that the booking was set for the next day at the discounted offer rate provided by Expedia. In order to add the additional date it would've had to be at regular pricing; however, without much discussion the hotel staff had discounted my rate and booked me right in for the extra day. This was much appreciated!
My room, bed and washroom we're neat and tidy - the A/C was wonderful, I had a mini fridge, room service that ran 24hrs and also delicious breakfast every morning. They even called me before breakfast ends to make sure I wake up and attend! Their hospitality was so warm and all the staff were smiling saying hello all the time.
The rooftop pool is as beautiful as the photos very relaxing, with the beach being right across the street I spent most of my time there.

I'd come back here if I need to stay in Kuta again

This place is a bit hard to get to sometimes by car because it's halfway down a tiny alley but the rooms are relatively budget for the location and you can walk everywhere. We could walk back from Kuta Square, walk to Beachwalk for dinner... Markets around every corner. A really yummy Ubud style cafe just down the street. The beds were comfy, bathroom clean and modern...

We enjoyed our stay. Close to Kuta beach. Connecting room was small but adequate. The rooms we were given on floor 4 was right next to the storeroom that housed the pool pump/filter. It was noisy.
For the price it was definitely worth it! Overall if the price is right again, we will book again, but request a room not on the 4th floor.

The rooms are small but for what I paid I think it was alright. The beds and the comforters are a little damp...I definitely think that should be addressed. Breakfast was very disappointing...I would avoid it altogether. Location is great..just a couple of minutes to Kuta Beach and further down to Kuta Beachwalk. If you're staying for a night or two I'd recommend this hotel.

I just stayed there for 2 night. Room is really old & dirty. Bed sheet are old and dirty like never wash, it causes me itchy to my body and also only provide a very small air condition in the room. Overall bad experience living in the hotel, breakfast is so so, Hotel service staff are helpful whenever I need help. If want to more nice & comfortable room for rest,this hotel are not an idea. I will not back to this hotel anymore because of lots of reason.

Hotel Review - Best Western Hotel - Kuta Beach

Overall good experience - very friendly staff, especially at check in desk.

Rooms are small and basic but nicely decorated and complimentary water is provided. One suggestion I would have for improvement is perhaps looking at changing the beds / mattresses. The mattress in my room was creaking and squeaking a lot when turning or moving about in the bed and a little bit uncomfortable. There was a sllight mould smell and some drainage smells coming when taking a shower buit it was not all the time - only when using the shower.

Very nice pool area with a good selection of food and drink options. Lovely views from the pool area of Kuta. Friendly and cheerful staff at the pool area although one or two had rather limited understanding of English and was a bit difficult to communicate at times.

Overall great stay in the hotel. Basic hotel but important for everyone to bear in mind that it is a budget hotel and you obviously get what you pay for.

This is by far our favourite place to stay in Bali so much so we were married here in 2012.
The rooms are comfy, the staff are lovely and the location is perfect.
The roof top bar and pool area is a great meeting place if you're traveling with a group and a nice spot to just sit back and relax.

Terrific little hotel close to the beach. Very clean, with a top notch staff. They were very efficient, professional, and friendly to deal with. Breakfast is excellent. The big plus of the hotel is the rooftop pool which has terrific views of the sunset. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it without reservation.

The hotel was far better than I had expected. It was close to everything of interest to me such as the beach, places to eat and central Kuta. It was great to have a nice place to call a home away from home. My belongings' even the more attractive items were respected by the cleaners' I had total trust in them. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Travelling as a couple, we were looking for a clean room in a nice location for a reasonable price. Best Western Kuta Beach exceeded our expectations, with a lovely staff, clean and modern rooms, an unbeatable location (only about 5 minute walk to Beach Walk) and a fantastic rooftop pool that we enjoyed so much!

Only one positive point: the location!
Room dirty, door of the shower broken (doesn't close at all and water went everywhere), breakfast same every two days (no sweetness), early in the morning very noises and screaming in the corridors (that means that the room wasn't insonorized well), beds uncomfortable (backs broken at the end of the holidays), lines so short you have to choose if cover your feet or your shoulders!!!

Nice modern small hotel in ideal location only 1 minute walk to main Kuta beach. Staff were fantastic and very obliging to all needs. Breakfast was also good albeit a little less variety than some of the bigger hotels. Very good value money wise for what you get. Only drawback was the size of the rooms which were extremely small.

The hotel needed upgrade. We had to shower with our flip flops on, because of the flooring. There were tiny bugs coming out of the sink. We had to move rooms because the key did not work and they had to drill a hole in the door to get us back in to get our stuff.

Cheating you at the bar, paying almost double

The Hotel is at a good location near to the beach. The cleanliness of the Hotel was awful (we booked this Hotel for our 2 week Kuta stay by the brand, but it wasn't what we used from Best Western). We had several stupid situation with the staff as well. 1. At the transportation counter we asked for an offer for a 2 days car rental. The offer was about 20 usd/day, which was quiet ok. When we went back to book the car nobody knows (because someone else was working in that time then when we asked the offer...) what we talking about. Because of this we had to find at 20.00 another car rental company who could provide a car for us next day....we found it, but I was not expecting this from a BW Hotel...2. One day we went to the roof top swimming pool area. We decided to drink a beer at the bar. We checked the price at the menu, was 27.000. rupiah for a small Bintang, which is expensive, but ok. When we proceeded to pay it was hard to understand why I'm paying 46.000. rupiah!!!!!!So I've asked the waiter what is this. (The same guy giving me the menu at the front) He was looking at me dispassionate and told me may be he was giving me a wrong menu with the old price!!!!! And finally we got a menu whit the final price. I was not arguing with him as this is still not a huge money, but this is unacceptable in a Hotel like this where we paying this money for a stay! Because of this we are not suggesting this Hotel.

Room Allocation is very poor

I checked in the room and be assigned the access key. When I enter the room, it is occupied, the room is not yet checked out. How come the hotel can assign the occupied room to another. Imagine if you have a room and some one can enter very easily to steal your thing.

After changing the access key and room, I enter and then go out for dinner. When I come back, I cannot use the access key to enter the room again, how come!

Perfect spot!

Best western was really conveniently located, literally a two minute walk to the beach. The room we stayed in was compact but comfortable, and all in all great for the price. The room had a nice cosy feel to it, and the bed was a really good size! The only downside was that (for two friends sharing) the bathroom is all glass, so you can sort of see each other when you're on the toilet or in the shower...something that may not be as embarrassing if you are a couple. Other then that can't fault it really, close to beach, legian road, beachwalk mall and kuta square all within walking distance you really are in the heart of it. Great friendly staff, and nice and clean, just what you need in a hotel :)

Good Location. The breakfasts were reasonably priced and tasty with a lot of variety. I like to sample the local food and was able to try some black sticky rice porridge with coconut milk. It was very good.
My personal safe was not working so I notified the front desk and they quickly got someone up to the room to look at it. A couple of members of the security team were dispatched and they solved the problem effficiently.
It was clean and reasonably priced.
You may want to give people advanced notice that you require a 200,000 Rupiah deposit. Not a big deal.

Overall, our experience was ok.
But we were very disappointed to see our room. it was nothing in comparison to the images they have uploaded. Rooms were very small, the bathroom glass was right next to our bedroom (My head was facing right into it!!).
also, the roof pool view is nothing like the images they have uploaded.
Now they have huge buildings next to it which will block your view of the beach

But apart from that, everything else was ok. A very short walk will take you to the Kuta Beach.
\"M\" Mart is next to the hotel, which is a good thing!

- Our rooms overlooked ....a dump. But this hotel has so many rooms that don't have a window facing the outside that I guess we shouldn't complain. - They are building a new hotel just in front of this one so it's noisy and smelly from construction material... - The hotel ask you for a deposit (in case you're using the minibar they say....) - Some of their staff are very friendly and some really not. We liked its location: 100m from the beach, convinient shop, massage shops and coffee shops next door, walking distance to the party place though not that close

the pool and rooms were a lot smaller than the pictures make them look. The staff were always hassling me to go to a seafood bbq every time I entered/exited the hotel \"are you coming to our seafood bbq, oh why not?\" they also called my room to ask if I was going... it was like being on popies lane. they also banged on my at 4am saying I had ordered a club sandwich, then after being woken up by them the phone rang 30 minutes later asking if I had in fact ordered the sandwich. there are nicer, easier places to go for sure

Great Location, Reasonable Rooms

Decent rooms at the price, but excellent location on Kuta Beach - across the street to the beach, 5 mins walk to Beachwalk new mall, and about 10 mins walk to the main Legian street where clubs and bars fill the street. Rooms are decent in size for two single rooms, cleaned daily - but housekeeping didn't lock the door properly when done (very risky). Otherwise a good hotel in an excellent location !

Accessible place & friendly staff

We enjoyed our short vacation in Bali. We found the hotel rate reasonable and its location accessible to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

You get what you pay for

It's okay for a budget hotel. We booked 4 rooms as we were staying as a large family together. In 2 out of the 4 rooms, the Air Conditioning either did not work, or was nowhere near cold enough. 4 of us had to be moved to alternative rooms in order to be comfortable.
