Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Very clean, the leaves were swept up several times a day and the bins emptied regularly.
Towels were clean but old and faded.
Breakfast was mediocre and the same every day.
Reception and dining area leaked badly when it rained, which was once.
Airport shuttle was prompt.
Overall a positive experience.

A nice hotel with easy access to the beach.

I have been to Bali a number of times and have always stayed at the Kubu Hotel. The rooms are simple but clean and very comfortable. The beach, shopping and many restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance.
The guys working here are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
(it would be nice to have a mirror in the bathroom and bedside lights)
Overall a great hotel that I would thoroughly recommend.

priced cheap, perhaps I needed to look a little deeper, Rooms to a minimal standard, really not that clean, and quite old and run down, Pool very small, and only 4 pool lounges, 2 of which were broken, breakfast very basic.

Not so good hotel, without hot shower

Swimmingpool with Dirty water, in the room it's nice, but just bedroom with mirror and balcon. That's it.

Close to everything

It is centrally located, a short walk to the Legian Street area or to one of the many beaches in the area - the breakfast was small but well worth the extra as the extra is so little. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly.

Poor hotel but good location for kuta

We arrived and initially had a standard fan room but asked to upgrade to the best poolside room. This was arranged.
This was $15 extra per night.
The initial look of the hotel is good, the pool is small and there are limited poolside benches.
The rooms are small and do not provide the comfort expected of a superior room
There is no room fridge or safe. Guest are only given one towel but more can be arranged on request.
Areas for clothing and bags are extremely poor and only just accomodate hand luggage for one person the second person has to use the floor.
The bedding in the room smelt like wet dog and was not changed in a daily basis. In fact the room bedding was only changed on request but the room was not cleaned during our stay for 6 nights.
The TV was small with a poor reception.
We opted for breakfast with our stay. We were given 2 slices of toast, some water melon and coffee. Very disappointing. The warung on the corner provided great food for $2-3
The staff were friendly but not overly welcoming. We asked for some glasses for drinks around the pool and was given a mix of coffee cups and glasses. Very little effort had been made to give a good level of comfort
Overall as a bed for the night with a good location to get to the beach, pubs, shops and massage places it is good option. But for an extra $5-10 pn you could have a much better room in a better hotel

Beautiful view of mountains from our hotel room.

Unfortunately backpackers right next door with very loud music to around 3am each night. Breakfast was supposed to be included from 730am. We arrived at the lobby at 8am and 9am the next day both days told breakfast would be hour away so gave up waiting and bought breakfast from around corner from hotel. We hired car but had no where to park it as staff and what appeared to be there friends had blocked up all the car parks and would not move there scooters for hotel customers.

Great Location and Terrific Pool

The hotels location was great, could walk to beach, Poppies Lane and Shopping Centre easily. The pool was terrific and very refreshing, unlike most other pools. Breakfast was average, but would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed for nearly a month and found the room was never cleaned even when asked over and over, the towels are older than the hotel itself and despite no rooms having fridges ants where always in the room, staff were constantly asking strange questions and i was in the high end room and it was perhaps the worst excuse for a hotel i have came across. turn on the shower the head comes flying off, water was warm once all the rest cold, stay elsewhere!

Don't ignore th bed bug reviews, they have them. When i went to the counter to change for the night they were not surprised that I was telling them they had bugs so I'm sure it's been an issue before.

3rd floor infested with bed bugs

one word.. BED BUGS. my first night of vacation unfortunatly at was covered the next morning in 100+ bites..(i had looked at the sheets and seemed fine) but stripped the bed found some massive bed bugs in the actual mattress and headboards. the staff were good and apologetic (as best as you can be) and switched us rooms.... next day.. i thought i was ok .. so we decided to extend......had all my things washed.. and returned back in the late afternoon and even bigger ones (size of a pinkey nail) were just laying there.. dead?? they ended up telling us they have many problems on that floor with bed bugs all the time (3rd floor) so upgraded us for the one night..... shame really. nice enough budget place with pool and great location and staff...

Basic room, no towel supplied, room was not particularly clean, A/C worked well, bed was ok.
Bought bug spray to keep the mozzies away.
Staff were friendly / helpful.
Great \"legitimate\" massage place next door. Good Laundry place a few doors up too.
3 Min walk to the main street / all the \"delights\" of Kuta.

Not very clean..

The staff were friendly, but the rooms were dirty and the bathroom was horrid - no hot water by the way which doesn't bother me too much but they said there was. I'm not fussy but I left after the first night..

You get what you pay for.

We only stayed here for two nights and it served us well.
We had a late arrival, one day and a very early departure the next day.
The Hotel is in the centre of town but still manages to give a green and quiet surrounding.
Would not stay here for a few weeks holiday but as a stopover it works really well.

Cheap and in the heart of Kuta action

I only needed it for 1 night. Very basic. 200K just comes with bed and fan but was fine. Odd thing was there was no towel. I asked at the front desk and he said they were all out but could bring me some the next day. I was getting ready to go out so that was frustrating. He was able to muster up 2 ugly looking tiny towels. He seemed like a nice old man though.

Friendly staff, great for cheap price

Stayed at Kubu for 1 week in a standard fan room. With the balcony doors open and fan on was nice and cool. Room was big and spacious, had our own bathroom, all very basic but then price was so cheap. I'd read reviews about bed bugs on the 3rd floor but I was in 304 and didn't see any. Staff were so friendly and always happy to help or answer questions. Location was good, close to beach and lots of places to eat/drink. Only downside was that breakfast was a bit small, could have eaten much more.

Cheap and comfortable.

you get what you pay for and the the cost (RP 175,000 per night) it was very good value for money. However, beware the information on the website will tell you that TV is included, this is not the case, although you can get an upgrade with TV for RP 200,000). The room was light and airy and generally clean, although the windows to the balcony were a bit streaky (but you do get a balcony in the price!). breakfast was simple but OK. The staff were both friendly and helpful, and the location convenient near enough to Legian for the bars but far enough away not to be disturbed by the noise and also close to the beach.

if you're looking for somewhere cheap and confortable to stay in Kuta, then I would definitely recommend this place.

Es war einfach nur das allerletzte.... Extra Superior Zimmer gebucht, was 34 qm haben sollte, Größe war maximal 12qm mit 10cm Blichleuste auf den Pool, die gesamte Hotelbeschreibung stimmte nicht überein.... Nachdem ich mich beschwert habe, haben sie mir die anderen Zimmer gezeigt, ALLE die gleiche Größe ca 12qm. Alle Zimmer haben gerochen, als wäre da vor 2 Wochen ein Fischotter gestorben, über die Sauberkeit muss ich wohl nichts weiter berichten..... Ich kann nur jedem raten: FINGER WEG VON DIESEM DRECKS LOCH!!!!!! Dazu kam noch, dass das Personal unheimlich unfreundlich und pampig war!!!!!

Si te gusta la suciedad y los insectos es tú sitio

El baño olía realmente mal. Estaba lleno de bichos. No sale agua caliente. La colcha de la cama tenía unas manchas de dudosa procedencia. Descolchones en la pared. Las puertas del balcón no llegaban a cerrarse del todo. No hay caja fuerte aunque lo ponga. El armario no es un armario. Las toallas son roñosas y asquerosas.

Lo único bueno que daría a este sitio es que está muy bien rodeado y muy cerca de la costa y que el wifi funcionaba muy bien, el resto nefasto.

Vi bodde här sista dagarna på långresa, hela vistelsen var lite ångestladdad...
Poolen är fin som stryk och rummen är OK. Det är bra för prisklassen. MEN frukosten, du får ett toastat halvt ägg och en skiva vattenmelon. Ingen höjdare faktiskt !

Nettes Hotel mit Pool

Wir buchten versehentlich ein Zimmer ohne AC. Das Personal bemühte sich dabei uns eins mit AC gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis zur Verfügung zu stellen. Dieses Zimmer hatte eine undichte stelle im Bad. Auch hier war das Personal sehr behilflich und hat uns auf ein Deluxe Room upgraded. Dieser Raum war groß und um einiges schöner, da es direkt am Pool liegt und man eine Terrasse hat. Das Frühstück war einfach und okay. Der Pool ist zwar zu klein um richtig zu schwimmen, aber reicht um sich zu erfrischen. Die Lage ist super. An der Kreuzung gibt's einen leckeren Griechen. Wäsche kann man für 10000RP/KG gegenüber waschen. Wir würden definitiv wieder dort übernachten.

エアコンが付いてない部屋があるので気をつけて下さい！
泊まるのみといった形のホテルです！
レギアン通りの近くですが夜は逆に治安が悪いです！
ホテル前の通りは暗く狭い道路なので夜は危ない雰囲気です！

Wi-Fi problem

最初はサイトで見たらACが書いてあるが言っら結局ACが無い1番安いの部屋になった。そしてホテルのWi-Fiは接続が悪い。ホテルを変えようと思ったが結局部屋をグレートアップした。そしたら全部完備してる部屋をあげたので満足した。スタッフは優しいが部屋掃除を頼んだらやらなかった。場所はビーチとクラブ近くなのでいいが車で入るのは狭い。
Wi-Fiだけをどうにかして欲しかった。

Rummet hade mögel i taket. Det läckte in i taket på badrummet vid regn. Ac fungerade fint. Sängkläder var så gott som obefintliga då vi bara fick ett överkast som täcke och inga handdukar. Frukosten var liten men ok. Poolen var helt ok. Låg på en bakgata. Så området var ganska lugnt, men ändå nära till shopping, restauranger och uteliv.

El hotel está bien pero las recámara con ventilador están justo viendo a dónde sale el sol lo cual la convierte en un pequeño sauna desde las 6 de la mañana. El desayuno es muuuuy básico, dos rebanada de pan con medio huevo y dos rebanaditas de sandía y no hay internet en las habitaciones drl segundo y tercer piso. En fin, bueno para los que no buscan pasar mucho tiempo descansando en el hotel.

Zentral gelegen, zu Fuß schnell im Zentrum und am

Nachdem wir angekommen sind wurde uns unser Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerk gezeigt. Dieses ging gar nicht, abgewohnt, ohne Klimaanlage und TV. Daz muss man sagen das diese Zimmer demnächst komplett saniert werden. nachdem wir den Service um ein besseres Zimmer gefragt haben ging alles problemlos und wir bekamen ein Zimmer das uns zusagte. Die Dame von der Rezeption war sehr nett und bemühte sich um unsere Zufriedenheit. Deshalb nochmal danke !!!
Auch das Personal war immer nett und freundlich und uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt.

쿠타비치서 걸어서 10분거리

물은 시원하게 안나오지만 나름 괜찮았습니다.뜨거운 물도 나오고~ 조식은 식빵 안에 스크램블 넣어 압축(?)한 토스트에 작은 수박 2조각이고 차,커피선택 가능합니다. 그리고 체크아웃 시간이 여긴 2시라고 되어있는데 11시입니다. 직원들은 친절해요~

Zentrale Lage, gutes preis-leistungsverhältnus

Das Hotel liegt zentral in kuta zwischen poppies 1 und 2, dennoch ruhig gelegen. Hotel-Team sehr nett. Schöne kleine poolanlage. Zimmer OK, entspricht preis Leistung.
