Our second time staying here, highly recommend fourteen roses boutique hotel. Our royal classic poolside room was a great size and perfect location near pool.
The Staff at this hotel are so friendly Ange & Dana were great to us and very welcoming.

The hotel was a lovely hotel and great location, my only negative points were that my room was given away to someone else before I arrived and I had to wait on an alternative room becoming available. I decided for the hotel BBQ on my first night and was served chicken that was raw in the middle so did not eat much after being served that. There is a gym in the hotel but virtually nothing in the gym, the walls to the gym are also glass and leading onto the restaurant so everyone can see you on the gym, It was a pleasant stay,

Nice enough for the price. Lovely staff. 2 nice pools. Breakfast was ok. Nice balcony with the lifts being a bonus. However, bring your earplugs! There is a very loud nightclub that closes at 3am. That was a huge negative. Renovations happening at the moment, but should be completed very soon. Only other negative was the grey towels.

We had a lovely stay in fourteen roses hotel. The staff are very welcoming and helpful with smile. The hotel ambience with tropical garden is relaxing. And we even got a surprise birthday cake from the hotel. Really made our Bali holiday even more special . Truely appreciated.

True Balinese style, beautiful, caring and friendly staff, spacious rooms, superb pools and garden areas. Free tea and coffee stations daily at front bar and rear gazebo.
First time I’ve been back since 2005 and property has been extensively renovated and is amazing.
Fantastic central location on Jalan Legian.
Only fault is linen and towels were a bit aged and could do with updating.

Didn't get double bed as booked. Got 2 single bed and managed with that. Receptionist kept similing and saying sorry for any request. Asked us to move rooms at 11:45pm night after 2 days of stay. Rest Staffs were good and they try helping as much as possible. Impove your services to get good and loyal customers.

Pro: This hotel is in the heart of Legian. Shops, Restaurants, Bars on your doorstep and Beach easily accessible by 10min walk. Despite being of the main strip the hotel complex is well insulated from the sounds of the street, and is quiet. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Hotel ground are well maintained and lush and green. Rooms are spacious, clean and beds super comfortable.

Con: The Towels and Pillowcases were quite dull or old looking. These were clean but maybe not washed with bleaching detergent. Bedsheets and Duvet were fine.

there are two hotels that have 14 Roses Hotel as part of the name I was trying to book 14 Roses Beach Hotel was the one i thought. but this one was OK, bit noisy in my room from the street and over the restaurant. had to wait until exactly 2pm to get my room- seemed like it was planned like that.but location was central and not far from the beach and staff were friendly.

Building site mess

When we arrived, they said even though I booked a double room, they only had 2 single beds, but they could be pushed together, and said they would move us the next day. We were soaked to the skin, and exhausted from dragging our bags since 11am. We were taken to the room, through grass and muddy puddles, dragging our bags.
The room was dirty, and disgusting, nothing like the pictures on the Hotels.com website.
There were holes in the wall, filthy towels stained and with big holes in them, stained bed linen, and the 2 single beds could not be pushed together as the bedside table was attached to the bedhead.

We have photos of the actual state of this property. It was night and raining, so we went back a couple of days later to get some of them.

We couldn't stay there, and went to reception to ask for a refund and to check out. The staff were helpful, but said we would have to get a refund from Hotels.com as they hadn't received the payment yet.

Overall the room is quite clean and well kept. The staff are quite friendly & helpful. The major set back is the hotel now under renovation and I think it will be completed before end of the year. You may need to check with the hotel if you are planning to stay here. I was there in the first week of February 2018 & was shocked to see the enterance of the hotel. The menu for breakfast is very limited & repeated menu....steamed rice, mixed vege, boiled potato, baked tomato, cereals, bread & crossance, watermelon & papaya, coffe & tea.

This hotel looks really nice on the website. However, when making a booking you’re not advised of the MAJOR construction being performed at the hotel at the current time.

Our room did not have many amenities - no kettle, no tea or coffee, no room safe, only a toothbrush and bottled water. The bed squeaked with every movement. The shower smelt like sewage and multiple times we had tapwear fly off the wall mid-shower. There was cockroaches in the lights in the bathroom.

The pool was cloudy from all the dust from the renovations. We were walking through the hotel tripping over wires, rocks and planks of wood. There is huge holes in the ground measuring more than 3meters deep. This hotel is basically a huge, very unsafe and dangerous construction zone. In any other country you would need hard hats, steel cap boots and high vis.

The only decent part of this hotel is the staff and security working there. I would honesty avoid this hotel for the next 12-24months until construction is complete. This place has a lot of potential, unfortunately we won’t be back for a very long time.

Major renovations were taking place but everything was still accessible. No banging or noises until after 9am. Location was excellent. Pool was fantastic. Staff were all friendly and couldnt do enough.
No communication from the general manager to others left us waiting at the airport for our driver which never came as it was never organised. No apology from the general manager or reply to my email which i did find not professional at all. Although the front of house team couldnt do enough to apologise for this.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times. At present under reconstruction. But worth it for the future,as will be even a better place to stay.
The staff fantastic. You feel comfortable and they’ve always made me feel like it my second home.
It’s close to clubs but not where you hear the boom boom after you go home.
So I’m if your looking for a reasonable place to stay
Fourteen Roses is for you. Rooms clean.
The ladies who do the massages are the best. I wouldn’t go to the streets and end up with back problems. There brilliant at the hotel.

Fourteen Roses is a great locations, friendly staff however when I stayed there it was under major renovations and I wasn't advised of this. Breakfast was disappointing as only my son and I were guests so it was basically nothing. There was dripping going on all day, ceilings being pulled down, trees being dug up, walls being knocked down, major stuff going on. however the staff were very friendly, have stayed here before and once the reno's are finished it will be very nice.

Booked a delux double arriving there I was given a twin room i said that was ok my wife not turning up till the next day. The ac was not working in the room. The next day I was shown another room but the ac was not working in that one either so I got moved to a third room and guess what the ac was no good in that room either. And no cable tv no tea and coffee making facilities . The best thing was you are close to everything and right next to the joker bar beautiful people nice small bar with live music most nights until about 11-30

Pleasant oasis centrally located

Nice place ideally located centrally in Kuta, walkable to everything and opposite a Starbucks (but go out the back entrance and turn left to Crumb and Coaster for an AMAZING coffee). Room was nice, maybe a little dated and a bit dark but was clean and comfortable and we had no problems. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast wasn't that nice and not much variation. I made use of the spa there which was absolutely wonderful. Overall I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place for a cheap central clean hotel. Thanks!

organised for hotel to pick myself & 2 kids up from airport as we got in at 11.25pm they didn't show up denied I organised it until I showed email confirmation also asked for another mattress in room not organised as denied I requested until I showed email confirmation again, very unorganised & wasn't a great start to my holiday. Breakfast was awful. Wouldn't recommend it stay there again!!

Central Location

Amazing staff always willing to help with a smile. Fantastic spa on site that offer the most wonderful massages. Hotel is central to almost everything like Poppies lane 1 and 2, surrounded by superb restaurants like Mama's with Starbucks and Greek frozen yoghurt just across the road. Lots of places to barter for a bargain or fixed prices if you dont like the whole bartering scene.
