Samsara and its staff are amazing! The place is clean and peaceful and the staff are super friendly.

The only concern I have is the area, it seems neglected by the government and dark areas where the wrong kind of people are loitering late at night. I hope something may be done in the near future to improve the are

Absolutely outstanding stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The hotel is exceptionally well looked after, from the immaculate rooms to the beautifully maintained facilities. The staff deserve special mention: friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay effortless. Service was flawless, rooms were comfortable and spotless, and every detail felt thoughtfully managed. Truly a 10/10 experience. Will be coming back here for sure next time I'min Bali! I’d highly, highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful staff. Low pressure, cold shower. Open, noisy property at night. Bugs in common areas. Restaurant has okay food-cash only. Wonderful pool. No where to put belongings in the room. Can never find a hallway trashcan. Again, wonderful staff. Lovely people! Would stay again.

Lovely, wonderful, sincere staff! Can't say enough good things about their exceptional level of attentiveness. Even despite some bumps into the language barrier. The rooms are very nice and well-maintained at first glance. It's clear they really care about their reputation. There's a refrigerator in the room, TV and AC with a dozen options. Lovely, clean pool adorned with flowers every day. Downside: unfortunately, it's a multilevel open floor plan and other guests think they rented a private mansion--raising hell all hours of the night and morning. There's some people just outside the property screaming weekend nights. Also, multiple dogs outside barking all night. The showers have almost no pressure and rarely has hot water. There's no definite closet or dresser to put things away. No chair or table in the room. There are tables and chairs in the main lobby but it's too much traffic if you want to do work on your laptop without being spied on by other guests. There's also the mosquitoes and tiny spiders that get on you if you're in the lobby too long. The hotel has a restaurant across the alley. They make adequate food but only take cash. And there's bugs under the tables their too. So, it's more good than bad. If you plan on club hop or go on half day tours, this is great! But if you have some remote work to do, zoom calls etc. on an extended stay, it's not going to be too comfortable. I'd come back again but only for a few days.

The property is beautiful and clean. However, it is in an area that is obviously overrun with prostitutes. The massage spas in the area are geared toward men that are touring the area. One spa flat out, turned me away. The other gave me the worst massage ever. I could clearly tell I was not the expected client. It wasn’t until I left, and I walked back to the hotel, that I noticed the same women and more women sitting and walking in the area and soliciting. Again, it’s a great hotel, but likely not the best if you are Traveling solo.

Despite seeing reviews on social media not to stay kuta we are both so glad that we still went ahead and booked to stay in kuta. We love the service, the property ,but would be nice to have an elevator but other than that we enjoyed our stay. Front desk i would like to aknowledge the beautiful Wira for going out of her way to ensure our stay at samsara was enjoyable Terima kasih. The 2 beautiful ladies in the restraunt Fatim and Linda i hope i got their names right, u both make yummy food and service was amazing. And housekeeping, thank you so much Dean for making sure our room is clean and everything is topped up.
I reccomend samsara of your looking to stay in kuta.

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room is clean and a good size.
The pool is well kept and the waiting area around the pool is very aesthetic.
Beds were also very comfortable!

Free breakfast from 7:30-10 restaurant across the street very cheap. Very clean pool, small room but clean and comfy nice and cool. There is a temple next door that practices their cultural music sometimes when there is a holiday that can be annoying but not for very long. The staff is extremely friendly they usually learn your name \"have a good day rachel\". This has been my favorite hotel in bali so far.

Was it just unlucky?

My first day of stay here was not too pleasing an experience. The property was located off a motorcycle lane and made it a bit difficult to locate during the night. Was welcomed at the reception by a friendly and excellent English speaking staff. I was then assigned a room on the top floor which felt a bit dusty. Had an issue with the WiFi which peculiarly needs a reboot of the mobile and frequent attempts, the air cond wasn't working at all and the phone as well and had to make a couple of trips up and down the stairs to the reception to get help. A technician was sent up after awhile to fix the air cond and by then, I've asked to change rooms as its getting late. The following days onwards were good experience with a comfy room, great ambience, nice pool, friendly and helpful staffs and a central location to get anything within walking distance.

I would recommend this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location is really good. Rooms have everything you need - A/C, fan, T.V with one english channel, hot water and good wi-fi. The only downside is that there is no door for the bathroom. Breakfast is good but nothing cooked (have to pay extra if you want this).

A very enjoyable one week stay in a lovely child free boutique hotel. Happy pleasant staff who couldn't do enough for you. Limited eating facilities in the hotel, but the hotel owned cafe immediately opposite provided very nice snacks, drinks and meals. Rather limited storage space in the rooms but this a minor problem. The quiet side street description is a little misleading as there is a constant stream of scooters, however this is not noticeable from the rooms. We would stay there again.

Excellent staff and very clean and tidy. However for a 3 story accommodation -there is NO lifts and laggage was carried up and breakfast is provided which was fresh fruit, cereal, toast and croissants - cooked breakfast was cost a bit extra.

Nice little hotel just of the main strip, so expect a little scooter noise. Good pool area with seating areas on balcony in the shade. Big enough room for two, no door on bathroom. Good internet and ok continental breakfast.. would stay here again.

The staff are fantastic and made me feel really welcome. The swimming pool not only looks great but is refreshing to swim in. My room was initially next to the receptoin area where loud (Western pop?) music was playing constantly so I asked to me moved and was graciously accommodated. The rooms are tidy and well air conditioned. The location is really good for shopping or looking at temples etc, and also is close to the beach. Easy to get to from the airport - about 150000Rp should do it. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying and very fresh/well presented.

Short stay as was just a stopover. Room was small but clean and nice. Bathroom was nice but no door for privacy which was a little annoying. Buffet breakfast was very basic but you could order more for $$. The bathroom needed a little TLC as shower door was a bit jammed. Also had to request more toilet paper. Check in was simple, can't comment on pool as didn't use. Great hotel for location with shopping and bars but a very simple hotel, not luxurious. Worked great for our short stay over

Very central, close to night life.

The nights we spent there were surprisingly quiet since it's so central, and we were there for Xmas and New Year!

But the hotel seems to do a good job being far enough from most noise, although for a couple of nights the did have Balinese celebrations in a small temple right around the corner that went close to midnight.

Mostly couples in the hotel.

Small but clean rooms with two safes.

Stall tried to down size the room, was not happy, had to ask for refrigerator, was advertised with fridge, toilet very impersonal to open, not enough shelving and hanging space, not enough tv channel, room small.
Very noisy late at night, security not do anything to stop loud noisy people, woken up many nights.
Staff were very helpful.

Samsara Inn, an Oasis in Kuta

Samsara Inn is like an oasis in the heart of Kuta. The dining area connected to the pool area makes the hotel seem very spacious. Although the rooms are small they are perfect for couples or friends who are fine being in each others space. Every day cleaners made up our rooms and gave us fresh towels.
The hotel staff here are beyond nice and go out of their way to make sure you're having your best stay in Bali. When I was sick during my stay the manager made me a tradition medicine to help with my sickness and checked in on me the days that followed. As a non-smoker as well it was really nice to be in an environment where it was prohibited, keeping the facilities smelling nice and fresh.

Didn't get a pick up from the airport when requested. Some dodgy dealings made it all too hard to complain to the manager as this bali and its just a bit boring to complain everytime something not up to standard happens. Staff we're ok. The girl during the afternoons was more interested in her feeling of importance and was terrible at customer service. Hotel was clean. Rooms are very small. Quiet atmosphere. If we had of gotten off on a different start i would recommend this place for quiet travllers looking to see bali.

Staff excellent. Very good value for money.

This hotel represents excellent value for money. But don't expect luxury - it is a budget hotel. Also, this is Kuta. Kuta is busy, bustling - there is noise which the hotel cannot shield you from.
The staff went out of our way to make our stay pleasant. We had a couple of problems during our stay, which they responded to immediately. Going beyond that required.

Nice quiet hotel, close to the action

This is a nice hotel nestled down a side street off legian in Bali. It's close to all the action yet far enough away to allow a good nights sleep.

We were originally in room 110 which had a bit of a musty smell to it but got to move after 2 nights. Hopefully that room will be closed until the aroma is sorted out!

Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay. The staff are very nice and attentive. The breakfast (included) is decent, incorporating much that you'd expect from a continental buffet. The hotel provides free coffee and a water based drink throughout the day.

The pool is nice and refreshing though mostly in the shade by mid afternoon.

Overall I would recommend this hotel and would return.

Loved our stay here at Samsara Inn, will definitely stay again. Rooms spacious and clean, clean bathroom and toilet, great central location. Loved the fact it was a non smoking hotel, pool is cool and refreshing, staff are very helpful, breakfast was more than enough and there was the option to purchase a cooked meal if needed. For the price, this hotel is excellent value. My only negative, but this would not worry most people, is the TV reception, limited channels and not very clear reception, also no DVDs player, but these are always for hire somewhere if required.

Great Priced Boutique Hotel

My husband and I found the location fabulous for shopping , just a few steps down a lane way, away from the noise, but really close to Poppies Lane I and Bemo corner. The hotel is lovely and the staff are very friendly and very helpful and polite. The rooms are fairly small compared to some hotels in Bali , but clean and have all the basic mod cons .( although a little more storage and draws for clothing etc would of been ideal ) There was the odd time a dvd player could of been of use too as you only get HBO on tv. Breakfast is simple and I believe they will eventually be serving a cooked breakfast in the future. If this comes about , whilst still keeping the cost of the accommodation low...it would be a full 10 out of 10 !!!!

Good hotel for the price.

You get what you pay for. Good basic breakfast, a bed, airconditioning, a pool and wifi most of the time. This place is right off a small lane and connects to the main street..so walking to find places to eat dinner/drink was easy..though you do have to walk the gauntlet of people trying to sell you viagra, mushrooms and hashish..as well as the many stall holders on both sides of the street..bargin hard and you can get some good deals.note: The bintangs are cheaper at the hotel!

Good location, just off the main street but the hotel itself feels quite tranquil. Rooms are clean and bright but really small, no fridge and not much room for bags etc. Air con worked well though.
Breakfast is continental buffet which is nice but there were fruit flies all over the fruit every morning which had only been half covered with a napkin...
The pool area is nice but nothing was cleaned up around it all day. At 6pm on several days there was still breakfast dishes, half eaten toast etc covering all the tables. Also the website says that this is an adult only hotel but there were a lot of families staying there...

総合的に良いところです。ただ、プールはいつ掃除してるか疑問です。なぜなら、いつもプールの中が濁っていたからです。またインターネットのwifiがとても弱く、部屋では使えませんでした。しかしフロントエリアでは使えました。フロントエリアは広いのでこの場所でインターネット作業をすればよかったと思いました。部屋の清掃スタッフを常に見ることができました。とても良かったです。
