Some construction going on but it just looked messy, not noisy.. Front entrance was a bit messy with piles of stuff and bikes around. Difficulty finding the front door. Staff was nice enough. No toiletries. Excellent location.

Unfortunately there were renovations being carried out and the rooms were pretty run down. However the biggest problem we had was the bathroom was pretty filthy and the plumbing was needing desperate repairs. Also the bed doona was full of stains which were pretty unsightly to see. However for the price I guess it was cheap but I wouldn’t stay there again anytime soon.

Horrible hotel. The worsts I have ever stayed in. The photos were a lie. The hotel is under renovations so it looks very different in reality. They are doing construction work all day, wake up to banging and machinery. When other guests came back at night I could hear their doors close loudly. The area around it is bedlam! Constant harassment for massages, taxi, drugs. Customer service was non existent. I felt unsafe. I didn’t stay there on the last night. Avoid this place like the plague!

It is a budget hotel that is in need of a facelift, but the staff are lovely, beds are comfortable, sheets are clean, water is hot, and the air conditioner is cold.
Tranquil and quiet setting in the heart of Legian, perfect location to everything in Bali.

Wouldn’t let someone I hate stay in this place... close to nightlife. Rooms are discusting, facilities and amenities beyond appalling... I left halfway through my stay as I couldn’t live is such squalor. Expedia should be ashamed of itself allowing such misrepresentation on its website. The place needs to be gutted and rebuilt

Place with potential, but stay away for now

Well, I really didnt want to believe the reviews - but they are true. First the good stuff - the place looks nice from the outside, its well located if you are after party life (not sure why people stay there if they want quiet). BTW, its inside the yard, so you can't really hear the street. Also, there are sellers of many kinds everywhere in asia, so of course they will be outside the hotel. Dont know why people complain about that. The bad part - room looked really run down. I didnt mind it that much for the price, but then I went to sleep and smelled the cussions - oh my god, so bad. Also, for some reason the water in shower smelled like rotten eggs. Internet was frequently unavailable. IF you can, just get different place

Many shortcomings in this hotel too many to list, so I will list 5 I brief:

1) Bed sheets were ripped

2) Wi fi failed to work 9 times out of 10 despite moving around the hotel it didn't make much difference as far as signal and quality is concerned

3) Breakfast was mediocre, not allowed seconds or third serving

4) Sex workers and taxi drivers would harass you the moment you stepped outside the hotel no matter what time in the day it is

5) Cleaniness of my room was left to be desired, no constant follow up from house keeping, no courtesy checks, lack of safety in and surrounding area of the hotel.

Only two good thing coming out of all this is I was impressed with customer service. Easy hassle free to check in

It was a good time there but the bed was very soft so you felt every movement from the other person. The breakfast menu was pretty small but I think for this budget ok.
Nice pool, good location and flatscreen tv (actually not necessary).

Our room was not available upon arrival, and they told us it was not with breakfast but our reservation was with breakfast. They upgrated us to a deluxe room. The room was discusting! Mold on the walls, sticky dirty floor, our towel were dirty white, they really need to change them and the smell, my god!!! So we did not stay, and book at J4 Legian just 1 min of walk from there A LOT BETTER. The hotel refused to give us a refund. And refered us to Expedia for a complaint. We have been traveling the world for the last 7 months and we did stay at a lot of low budget rooms in Indonesia, Philippines and Africa, this one was by far the worst.

Worst hotel iv ever stayed at!!!

Thought would be nice as shown in pictures but is nothing like it at all they dont come to clean the rooms unless u tell them the shower and toilet smell like urine and theres hardly any water pressure and the floors are sticky from humidity had to leave after 2 days n book another hotel. Would not recommend to any1!

It's not what you've got, it's who you've got. The staff here are amazing if you give them the time of day. They will chat to you and are always very hospitable, doing anything they can to help you. The rooms are clean and tidy, beds comfy and aircons brilliant. Hot water always. The bathrooms are not modern but they are clean! The pool area is beautiful and pretty luxurious for the amount being paid per night. Safe and secure with some of the coolest security out the front aswell!

Warning Stay Away !!!!!!!!

Arrived after midnight and our rooms were not ready even though we were booked in for the previous day. No towels and they couldn't supply proper towels. One room smelt like a morgue. Two of the rooms the beds had been used previously and linen not changed. Bodily fluid evident on one and hair and body odour on the other one. One of the four rooms bathroom was flooded upon entry. Another bathroom floor was so dirty you could see the dirt running down the drain hole. There was no security. People were screaming and yelling and jumping in the pool at 4am. Left the next morning (even through booked and paid for 4 more nights). Complained at desk with no response. Stayed in far better hotels for the same price. Stay away!!!!!!!

Absolutely horrible, not worth the money!

This place was disgusting!!!! My room had leaking taps in the bathroom with water all over the floor and smell of mould. My room had no blanket for if you wanted to sleep with a blanket on the bed, the sheets had stains, the room was dirty with pieces of hair and rubbish on the floor. I also had been informed that I had a no smoking room but was left with an ash tray in the room. I was told on arrival that the wifi didn't work in the rooms and it only worked on the balcony, I went to the balcony to sit on the furniture provided to be discomforted by the horrible smell. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It's location is behind a tattoo place with multiple of Javenese people around just back from the main road. This was a horrible experience, I did not even stay for longer than an hour.

A little disappointing

The staff were friendly enough, nice hotel environment, but a young guy doing the cleaning. Before staying the second night we warned management about cleanliness. There was no improvement so we checked out. But not before telling them to hire an effective cleaning lady.
Hair on the tub, toilet not cleaned for weeks.
Check the room before paying....

Terrible Terrible Terrible

We arrived at 11pm no body was at the front door not even reception. A man standing by had to go looking for someone he came after 5 mins and took our bags to the room. We were shocked it was filthy as if bedding wasn't changed after last use yes the towel was brown from white so we asked him to change them. No hot water, toilet paper, fridge, kettle to make coffee or air condition. There was a rusty ceiling fan rattling over our head all nite. Since it was so late we decided to spend the nite and look for another hotel in the morning so around 6.30am we walked out and came across J4 HOTEL only 100 meters up the road so we checked n booked for the rest of our stay. I would rate it 10/10 in everything.

So we went back to the old hotel packed our bags and came to have breakfast before we left. We ordered eggs on toast which came and my husband wanted 2 extra toast and she said no you only get two. Coffee and tea was provided but no milk. So we ate our breakfast and rolled our bags and walked up the road to our new hotel where the staff were amazing who let us check in early at 8am and didn't charge us for late check out at 6pm.

Hotel near club? Here it is!

I booked 3 rooms for my family. 1) No towels were provided as they told us all towels were sent to laundry ??????. LOL! .No soap in all rooms that we had to buy ourselves. Checkout was the best. At 12.00.05hrs the hotel staff will knocked our doors as were late for 1 hour or so.

Disappointing experience.

I booked a room with double bed and they gave me a room with 2 single beds. I ask them to give me another one and in a bad mood they refused to change telling me they didn't have any more rooms available. At the end I was going to leave and suddenly they got plenty of rooms. The room doesn't look like the pictures at all and was very dirty, full of spider webs.

im a backpacker. so to be able to stay in a hotel like this is way better for me. its cheap, well i booked it online for 13USD. if u pay on ur walk in its 300,000 Rupiah or 40 USD. the blanket is very thin so u have to increase the room temp. the room at the end (i got 115 and 116) its really hard to get the wi-fi. and no wi-fi at all at 116. well they got swimming pool here, private balcony each room and the garden view is so relaxing. no noise at all even thou its just a few metres from the big clubs. it'll be hard for u to find this hotel in the night because there is 3 sandat bali hotel in bali which is 1,2 and 3 and i dont know which hotel im staying. they dont state the number. overall its reasonable for the price

Only stayed a night, was surprised by the size of the place as the entrance was very cramp. Breakfast was reasonable for the price. Room slightly dim & washroom had an unpleasant smell. A bit noisy at night due to proximity to clubbing area.

Paid for a deluxe room and probably got the worst room. Looked at standard rooms that were nicer. Bathroom was dirty and broken window. No tea and coffee facilities. Did not clean room or front steps, which were very slippery after a couple of days. Had to ask for toilet paper and water, as did not check and clean room.Breakfast is not buffet and very bland. Did not have huge expectations for price but expected a nicer room. When I asked about room, they simply said it was deluxe. When leaving for airport asked them to call a taxi and was told there were plenty outside, so we had to cart our luggage on to the street and wait for taxi.
Could not use pool between 8pm and 8am

Beautiful Oasis if the Legian area is \"your thing\"

Located in the heart of Legian, Sandat Bali Hotel offered us a nice getaway from the party hungry vibe that characterizes this part of town. The hotel is beautifully landscaped and the rooms are well cared for. Unfortunately the bathroom floor seemed to be a bit on the smelly side (even for the \"wet\" style bathroom it was smelly) and no toiletries other than toilet paper were provided. The pool looked very nice and well maintained.

Was given a room with twin beds even though I requested a double. The room descriptions are wrong. Staff were argumentative. Breakfast was sub standard. No wifi in the rooms either, only public areas.

Friendly Staff ! Decent for the price !

The friendly hard-working staff made this stay the best part !My son & I had a one over-night in Bali & stayed at the Sandit Bali Legian. It's quite an older place that one night was all I'd want.It was \"Decent enough\", for the price, which included a light breakfast. Having internet only in the food service area and front desk area was rather inconvenient but at least that was free & working!

Only stayed for a night as I was going to Nusa Lembongan the next morning. The standard fan room is ok for US$13, you get what you paid for.. The LCD tv offers quite a range of channels surprisingly, such as HBO n FOX... The only minus point is the water pressure in the bathroom is very low... Otherwise quite ok for those who wants to stay in a hostel type room but with ensuite bathroom.

Satisfied with the room

We were satisfied with the room and the hotel is very well fitted out. There were a couple of small down points - the drains stank and the TV didn't work as well as no complimentary shampoo and soap and we had to go and ask for our towels. Otherwise we had a very comfortable stay and the service was good. The location is set back from the main street so the music late at night from the main street didn't bother us.

I can't really complain too much since I found a very cheap rate online. I booked the \"deluxe\" room, which had absolutely nothing of the kind. The room was dark, air con made a loud noise that wouldn't let us sleep, bathroom was poorly cleaned when we arrived and is in urgent need of a makover, besides it basically flooded everytime we took a shower cause there was no curtain. We couldn't get wifi in our room which was on the third floor, decent wifi only by the pool. And there was no cable just a few local channels on the tv. So, very dissapointed with the room that I got. Wouldn't recommend this HOSTEL (not hotel) to anyone.

Good: Awesome pool. Cheap. Central. TV. Comfortable. Breakfast. WIFI in public areas. BAD: Noisy from midnight till 4am from the bars (even WITH earplugs). No Aircon as advertised - noisy fan only. No tea/coffee facilities as advertised. WIFI poor in room. Upon checking out to head to Jimbaran Bay the owner offered me a taxi there for 150,000. I used Bluebird Cabs on the meter, it was 49,700. Having stayed in lots of places both good and bad, all around the world, I would stay here again, but only for a few nights. If bars/clubbing are your thing - perfect! If you want to sleep at night, head further away as this is a 2 minute walk from the bars.

An oasis in a disgusting place

We stayed here to be close to Kuta beach, but because it's rainy season there was rubbish washed up all over the beach and in the water. It was disgusting, I've never seen anything like it. So we stayed by the pool here and it was lovely. Heads up that although the Standard Room advertises AC, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, it doesn't have any of these. When I brought it up with the staff they were very apologetic and put us in a room with AC (Superior) but still no fridge or tea/coffee. Breakfast is basic but hits the spot. All round it's incredibly good value for money and if for some crazy reason I ever wanted to re-visit Kuta, I'd stay here again.

르기안거리의 밤문화를 즐기기엔 최적의 위치,
다만 따듯한물이안나왔고... 방상태는 동일가격의 숙박시설들보다 떨어짐... 아침식사는 기대하지마시길. 그냥 계란정도 먹는다 생각하시는것이 정신건강에 이롭습니다.
밤문화즐기기엔 정말 편안합니다.
위치때문에 마지막3일을 다시 잡을까 조금 고민했을정도. 좀 허름해도 괜찮다면 추천.

男友達とかバックパッカーなら良い

デラックスルームに宿泊した。
立地はレギャン通りに面している。遊ぶには適しているが、夜は治安がが悪くなる。女性の旅行には向かないと感じた。
ホテルの中は、けっこう汚い、アメニティはないです。エアコンは付いていて、シャワーは温水が出ました。
掛け布団はないです。
値段相応な感じです。

If you like to party Kuta is the place to be

Hotel was really nice and staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is near Sky Garden and the other bars so if you like to party you don't have to walk a long way. Pool is nice and you can sunbathe in peace. Short distance to the Kuta Beach also.
