Kuta town house appartments currently constructing a new building, but let that stop you from going here.
Breakfast is adequate, eggs cooked to order.
Main thing that make hotel enjoyable is the staff they are amazing, always greeting you when coming or going via reception.
Pools are clean and there are four of them, each with different amounts of sun on them.
Will stay here again.

We have stayed here several times. Roopms are clean, a little old, but for what you pay the space is gret with kids. Breakfast is fine, would love to see more fruit options, however it is perfectly fine. Staff are great and very friendly. It is close to the beach with a 7 minute walk throughh the back lanes.

Noise from the adjacent mega hotel construction by the Tata group, of which this hotel is connected, is 7 days per week and incessant. Also difficult to get cars/taxis willing to pickup due to very narrow back lanes. Rooms are excellent: large and clean. Good breakfast buffet. Aside from the lane narrowness the hotel location is optimal.

Although we had provided proof, they still insist it for four, disappointed.

Enjoyed our stay here - good value for money and very spacious.
A few downsides - very difficult to access by car, so some drivers refused drop-off.
Were warned about renovations going on, however we did not notice the noise, just some dust.
We slept late one morning and had the Do Not disturb on, and unfortunately staff did not return to service at a later time.
Shower pressure was very poor, and limited hot water.

We like the apartment location. Taxi drivers were asking more price to go there because of narrow roads. If you have more luggage then problem. Lifts are not working, property is in construction. Staff are very friendly, breakfast is excellent. Walkable to beach.

Great Family Hotel

It was very hard finding a good size 3 bed that can accommodate my big family and Kuta Townhouse just the perfect gem for me.
There are indeed other more expensive options with smaller rooms and pool ( albeit closer to the beach ) however we decided to stay here and was not disappointed.

Rooms are massive with bathroom each, big living room, kitchen, many options for swimming pools and the staff are just the most kind.

We’ll definitely come back here when we plan to stay in Kuta next time!

Like access to 4 pool areas. Restaurants on ground level had great food and most staff very friendly. Was very disappointed at check in as we stood at desk and was not greeted or made to feel welcomed. This was our first trip overseas we stood there trying to get the ladies attention and they did not come to the desk. We ended up sitting at a table waiting for our friends to arrive to help us and find out if we were doing something wrong. Very daunting for my husband and I and our 12 year old child.

Loved these apartments. So clean, spacious and well equipped. Comfy bed, good shower. Breakfast was good, great to have not one but two coffee machines that produced good coffee.
One thing that didn't endear me was the pool areas, although pools nice they had a very un-Bali feel and a lot of squawking kids, not conducive to a nice relax by the pool.

The included breakfast with a bar was really great. ( I suggest including mimosas and Bellinis on the menu too! :-) ) But we saved so much time and money by being able to eat here everyday. I loved that they switched up the menu a little bit but I would’ve liked to see a bit more variety especially with fruits and vegetables.

The cleaning people were good and efficient by cleaning the rooms. They kept it maintained fairly nice during our stay. However, I noticed the bathroom doesn’t come with washcloths unless you asked or paid extra for them?

Overall, it’s a decent place to stay. Really great central location... if you plan to do a lot of siteseeing. Most places you still need to travel by taxi to go to the best exhibits but for the price of hotel and general stay accommodations you have everything you need. Not luxury but very comfortable and decent.

Sucked us in first time then shit on us the next!

This was our second time at Kuta town houses, after renting a 3 bedroom family apartment last year my fiancé and I we excited to try out the single apartments with kitchenette as we were traveling alone. Upon arrival we were told we couldn’t check in yet even though we got there at 3:05pm. We waited 15 minutes and were given a room still being cleaned and as we entered the room the smell of mouldy air send our heads into a spin. We requested a new room which most of the 2 level had that distinct mouldy smell. We asked for a bottom level apartment which we thought was amazing being pool side but were unaware of the sewage smell that would woft through at random ours of the day and night cause us to dry reach. At 11pm we had to evacuate our room due to our room smelling so bad and we no one from front office came to check the room I asked to see the manager who took 2 steps into the apartment and could smell it but then went to the bathroom and almost passed out it was that strong. Safe to say we asked for a room on the other side of the complex but as they were smaller rooms we had to accept a down grade with no chance of any refund. We did get our DVD rental for free after asking for it as a form of compensation for having a downgraded room for 8 days with no refund cause they couldn’t provide us with decent accomodation.

KTH is our preferred option in Kuta. We have tried many different types of accommodation in Bali but keep coming back to KTH. Our last holiday we stayed our first 5 nights in a nearby hotel which wasn't bad but we were very happy that we had booked our last 7 nights at KTH. We will be back.

Good facilities plus this place has built in adapters for NZ/Australia. 4 pools to choose from plus one of them you can order from the bar in the pool! Very good location, just off the main strip in Kuta so its close but not too close. A good array of resturants in the area if your not keen on the Aussie Brazilian BBQ joint at this site. A massage/beauty treatment spa across the road and a couple laundry facilities just up the road.

Have stayed at Kuta Townhouse a few times, clean, spacious apartments, 4 pools, friendly staff. 5-10min walk to Beachwalk and Beach. Laundry service next to tattoo shop is great! Brazilian BBQ is AMAZING and well worth the price. DVD shop at end of road joining poppies 2 have best dvds and will tell you which ones are crap or not. Secret Garden Restaurant around the bend joining poppies 1 doesnt look like a place you would stay and eat...but great staff and good food. $40 odd dollars for a family of 4 including drinks! You will enjoy your stay!

Dissapointing, far better hotels!

Overall a dissapointing stay. I stayed here a few years ago and feel as though the 'hotel' has gone downhill. We were given a room that had a strong mould smell so requested to be changed (I've been to bali several times before, it wasn't the usual bali smell), we were made to wait in the smelly room for 40 minutes for housekeeping to come and take us to our new room but they didnt come so we went to reception. We were then told the new room was ready and had the key placed on the counter like we were an inconveniance. This room also had an empty water cooler and several locked cupboards, making it obvious that someone usually lived there.
The new room was better, but again several locked cupboards so we were staying in someones home, which the hotel denied.
Breakfast was ok, but no healthy options.
We asked for a wake up call, which we didn't get.
On checkout the reception staff were not friendly at all. My partner and I felt quite unwelcome. Would not stay again. There are far better hotels for the price, we chose this hotel for the location, but it wasn't worth it.

We've stayed here many times but this time I was very disappointed. The staff were very friendly but the place was looking a bit run down and in need of some maintenance. The Brazillian BBQ was terrible. The meat barely cooked and dripping with blood. The roast potatoes and rice were cold. When we ate in the Black Stump the service was slow. On one occasion lunch took almost 40 minutes to arrive. One morning we had an early morning excursion and we were being picked up at 7:30 so we raced over to grab some pancakes and toast to take with us and we were told we weren't allowed to take the food from the restaurant and had to eat it there. We left on an empty stomach for our long drive. I doubt very much that we would stay there again.

Three bedroom balcony apartment was good but small living areas for a large family. Looking a bit run down too, bathrooms could have been cleaner and better maintained for such a large well known hotel. We did love that the tap water is filtered in the rooms and there is a good choice of pools so not crowded.. food and drinks reasonably priced for a hotel. Location wise is central to everything and close to the beach and shopping centre. Rooms near the pool can get very loud in the evenings when people are in the pool late drinking, be wary of this if you have small kids that want to sleep before 11pm! Staff were fantastic and very helpful and accommodating.

Stay started off on a bad note with hotel transfer not arriving but after that everything was very good. Deluxe 2 bedroom apartment had plenty of room for a family of 5. 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, full size fridge, balcony overlooking a pool and plenty of living space. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. Pools were good with enough seating. We preferred the black stump steak restaurant over the very popular Brazilian Aussie bbq. Location is close to everything you need if Kuta is your go. Staff were very accommodating and polite and kept the hotel very clean. The only thing I could fault was the front of our room was roadside on the 3rd floor and you could hear the traffic easily so if you are a light sleeper request a room away from the streets.
Overall we would book here again as we were very satisfied.

It's the perfect location for Bali first timers

We have been to Bali a few times but we were traveling with someone whom had mobility problems so we wanting to be central and within walking distance to good resturants and entertainment. This hotel was perfect. It's in a quiet nook off poppies 1 and makes for an ideal base if wanting to do little day trips, or walk to some pretty amazing resturants including gongs corner, poppies and many many more. The in house brazil bbq was fantastic. The 4 pools were clean and quiet. You can usually grab a day bed or 2 without hassle. We would go back, next time spitting our trip between here and Ubud.

Will never stay again at this dump

Never, never, never will I stay at Kuta Townhouses. Arrived at Kuta Townhouses to be told by reception (which is located in the middle of the Black Slump restaurant) that we have to stay in another room for the first night and move rooms for the rest of the 13 nights. The room was old with no views from any of the windows. The next morning we were told to move rooms and expected to leave our luggage and wait by the pool until the other room was ready. Not impressed. Our Studio Extra room was located in the lane way above the Brazilian BBQ restaurant. I asked to be moved to another room as I knew that motorbikes would be riding up the lane way all night and it would be noisey. I was told by Spencer that all rooms were fully booked and he was rude and said we should have done our research before we booked the room. No where on their website does it state that the Studio Extra rooms are located on a noisey lane way. He was not helpful at all. There was no bottled water provided each day. The towels were old and faded. The breakfast was terrible with the same food day after day. Housekeeping was very poor standard and the pools cold because of no sun. The worse issue was having to walk thru the Brazilian BBQ restaurant each night to get to the lift or stairs to go to your room. I nearly slipped over from all the fat on the floor and the smell of meat went thru the building. Located in Poppies Lane 1, it was difficult to get a taxi.

Great space for a family of 4. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was great. From our room we could hear the beat from a night club till early hours of the morning, so suggest packing some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The beach is a only a five minute walk, but you do have to walk past lots of street vendors. You will get good at saying no. Loved lying on the loungers by the pool.

Exactly what we were expecting!!

The spacious 2 bedroom Apartment was exactly what we needed. Breakfast was of a full variety and delicious. The staff were amazing. friendly, polite & trustworthy. We accidently left something in the safe when we left to stay at another hotel. When I returned to collect, the item had been checked, documented and safely put away until I returned to collect. Lucy was the staff member responsible for this item and it was exactly as I left it with nothing missing. We are truly grateful for her honesty and will definitely be returning for our next holiday.
The Aussie-Brazillian BBQ Restaurant that is attached to this hotel is amazing, to all those people with really big appetites, definitely the place for dinner.
Highly recommended that you book ahead.

This property was good,bar staff could have been more active with clients and chatted instead of just serving the drink.Booking in was a long wait for the room.
No swim up pool bar but very close to bar.
Excellent for families and any age kids.
Overall food was excellent and steaks were amazing,same as aussie dollar for drinks and food.
I did get bites from bed bugs BUT not sure if from here as other 4 family members had none.
Very close to all amenities-great location with fantastic massage across the road.

Fabulous apartments!

Have absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel. Rooms are huge, staff are so friendly, room service and food is amazing, staff work so hard cleaning! Be very hard to get a hotel as close to beach, Main Street as quiet and perfect as this! Heaven!

We loved this hotel after 9 previous trips to Bali, Kuta Townhouse Apartments had everything we wanted at a very reasonable cost our apartment was spacious, clean, serviced daily reception staff very friendly recognised you instantly and gave you your key. Buffet breakfast was a good variety with some dishes changed daily 3 swimming pools to choose from, our apartment had pool access from our patio. The Brazilian buffet restaurant is an experience in itself u pick your salad from a buffet then the bbq cooked meats Are carved onto your plate at your table and keep coming and coming till YOU say no I’m full for $18 it is awesome value for money

Spacious apartment for my entire family, friendly

This Apartment located in the central of kuta business district very convinient to go for shopping, dining or chilling out
All the staff are friendly
We have such a good experience in this place, highly recommended.

Nice and clean, friendly staff and closer to shops. Only complaint was the shower head and the basin tap had no pressure so couldn't have a decent shower also the shower takes a good 20 mins to warm up

Great location

The bed was very hard, I could have been more comfortable sleeping on a rock!!! Great I guess if you like hard beds. No TV in the bedroom. Water bottle ran out and we were told to apply our own!! Other than that it was pretty good, location is excellent. Bar service is not a strong point and cocktail choose is very limited.

not very clean at all, water was cold in shower, pools looked nice, could do with a good scrub.
