Pool was amazing! 5 year old had lots of fun on the waterslides, pools were never crowded, plenty of day beds, option to hire cabana. Room was basic, enough for 2 adults 1 child although tiny balcony no chairs only standing room. Beds were too hard for me personally but husband had no issue. Buffet breakfast very basic. Great location staff very friendly. Did not utilise kids club.

Big resort with plenty to do. Utilised the pools, cabanas and the day spa. Splash restaurant served good food. Buffet breakfast was excellent. All were great. Wasn’t overly happy with a dish I order in the top bar. But minor issue. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Free movies a bonus. Bathrooms could use exhaust fans though. Overall would stay again.

Absolutely amazing staff! Every single one greeting you as you walk by, so polite and attentive and so inclusive of the kids, my son constantly asking to see his friend (Ari at the center stage) she was the best! Pool = incredible. All of the food was delish and came out quick. I had a Balinese massage at the rock spa that was glorious. The garden area with playground and garden games was a highlight for my almost 3yo, he especially loved the fishies. The only fault is that the kids clubs were under renovations and the temporary rooms they had were underwhelming. Will 100% be recommending to other families and will 100% be back!

Wow, the hotel was amazing! It exceeded my expectations! It was perfect for our young kids, sooo many daily kids activities! Kids club was amazing, my kids didn’t want to leave!
The pool bar was fantastic! Food was delicious!
Rooms were clean and beds were like a cloud!
Perfect central location!
Would stay again for sure!!!

I booked this hotel through Expedia for 5 nights from 26th January 2026 till 31st January 2026. After checking in, I started getting breathing issues. There was mouldy smell everywhere in hotel and rooms. I opened balcony door to get some fresh air in the room but it didn't help much. Finally, I contacted reception. Reception staff was very helpful. They show us different rooms but it was same smell everywhere. Finally Maha (Hotel manager) see me and I explained my situation to him. I started getting panic attack as well as my asthma attack. Maha took me to see Doctor at the clinic within their hotel. Doctor checked my BP and oxygen level and advised me to calm down. I saw mould at the roof in that medical centre. I requested Maha to cancel my booking. Maha was very friendly. He talked to his boss and I was refunded for 4 nights only. It wasn't our fault that the air quality in rooms was so bad that it triggered my asthma. We checked out of Hard Rock and stayed our 5 nights with Pullman Bali Legian Hotel.

Easy to use TV and space.
Staff were amazing whether in room (thanks Dewa for our animals on wing 5)
Pool is ultimate pparadise.
Kids splash area and slides an absolute hit but it doesnt atop there. The hotel also has
Indoor and outdoor kids areas for play. Kids and teen club was under renovation wo we didnt utilse intheir temporary location. However with what was already on offer we were very happy especially when Travelling with a 4 year old and 5 month old everything here was great.
Awesome things you can do if youre into music like hire a guitar and amp ro play in your room, photo shoot with the family or actually record something in their recording studio.
Plunge pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool spa in the gym was also an unexpected surprise and so helpful for tired bodies
Great benefits and discounts
Will 100% stay again!!!
Only slight negative is some areas arent 100% accessible for prams but again everyone is so helpful that it was not an issue.

Hotel was fantastic for us and our 2 kids. Always activities on in the pool for the kids. Rooms were spacious and the best bed I've ever slept in. The only negative I have is there is a Starbucks next door and you arent allowed to bring it back into the pool area. Its very expensive to eat and drink at the hotel.

We loved our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Bali. From the moment we arrived, the front door staff, concierge, security, and bell staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The cleaning staff provided excellent service and maintained very high standards throughout our stay.
Our garden room was well equipped, clean, and spacious, with excellent air conditioning, making it very comfortable to relax in.
We also found the Discova third-party tour operator located at the hotel to be very informative and helpful. They planned our trips well, and everything ran exactly as expected.
The only minor drawback, and no fault of the hotel, is the heavy traffic around the hotel in the afternoons. A 20-minute walk can take up to an hour and a half by car, so walking is often the better option.
Overall, a fantastic stay with outstanding staff and great accommodation. We would happily return.

For the price we have paid, very overpriced, dirty pool with hairs( daily in pool!), plasters etc not cleaned well at all. Food at pool
Area sat for 10 min one day before being acknowledged, for 4 basic meals and 4 drinks cost 910,000 ridiculous especially when the quality of food was so bad! I will never stay here again and will most definitely return to our previous hotels that cost less but better service, food and cleaner. It’s a shame as we stay here 12 days and cost so much and the lack of attention is evident, just another big chain who charges a lot for terrible quality.

Overall it was a fantastic 5 days stay in the family suite. Every staff makes you feel like million dollars. From room operator to house keeper.

Just one thing though, I left my belogings in the room before I flew back home and they were exceptional to have message me to ask if I needed to ship the items back to me. I have responded but there has been no response ever since.

The lounge/bar, a total disappointment. The bottled beer was warm. The staff must’ve had three meetings while we were there so it was hard to get service when they were all clustered next to us in a meeting. The food, appetizers, terrible. We ordered almost everything on the appetizer menu.Most was only warm nothing actually hot.

Amazed that people can still smoke in a family hotel in the indoor club lounge . Despite signage up saying no smoking it was clearly not adhered to by guests when complained the waiters and waitresses just smiled and did not know what to say as if this was normal practise for guests to smoke in a hotel in Bali.

Another great stay!

Can’t fault this place, which is why we’ve stayed so many times. Great for kids and younger folk and older alike. Amazing outdoor pool - maybe one of the best in Bali, great buffet breakfast, nice rooms with a large bathroom, top staff and right across from the beach. It might seem a little pricey but once you experience the property, you’ll soon see why. Highly recommend. Thank you HRHB!

Overall I would say it’s an OK stay. Facilities for kids are definitely great. The room and bathroom however needs quite a bit of improvement. Water pools, the room was more humid than outside, there was also a musty smell in the room likely due to how humid it is. We had to keep a dehumidifier on throughout our stay and it completely filled within a few hours- this was kindly provided by the hotel. We come from Malaysia and Singapore and are used to humidity, but to experience it in an enclosed airconditioned room was unusual, maybe it was contributed to by the ground floor location? Quite disappointed with the room- our first disappointment in quite a while.
