We have stayed in this hotel before and picked it for a group holiday for its location and ease.
We travelled with two young children and the pools were great with the shallow kids pools in both of the larger pools. There is a small kids play area which we used a lot too.
You can ask staff and they give you food to feed the fish and this was entertaining for both the young and old.
Staff were amazing and checked in on our group when we had some poorly people.
It was also my husbands birthday and from morning staff singing happy birthday through to the room staff leaving a towel sculpture , the staff made it special.
We had lots of rain and still got out to walk on the beach path. The beach has definitely taken a hit from the weather over months and there was debris and in some parts the path was missing.
We still like this location and the fact it is on the beach.

The location was very central to everything on offer in Kuta but there are much better resorts to stay at if you dont want the chaos of being hassled all day.
The Grand Deluxe Poolside Room was old but well maintained and the staff were friendly and attentive to your needs. What really let this resort down was the food; it was poorly prepared with low quality produce and everything, breakfast, lunch and dinner, lacked flavour. Thankfully there were some good restaurants in the local area.

We had a fantastic stay at Truntum Kuta and would happily return.
The location is prime — the beach is right beside the hotel, two art markets are just minutes away, and it’s an easy 15-minute walk to both Discovery Mall and Beachwalk Shopping Centre. Everything you need is close by.
A special mention goes to the Duty Manager, Mr Cok Oka Derana. He is a genuinely kind, happy man with a great sense of humour and truly made our stay memorable. Staff like him make all the difference.
The food was excellent, with great choices available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room was cleaned daily by Edi, a lovely young man who always went above and beyond — nothing was ever too much trouble and he was always happy to help.
The hotel also offers a full-service spa on site, which was fantastic, and three outdoor swimming pools, giving plenty of space to relax.
The new lobby is beautiful, very welcoming, and sets the tone for the whole stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is warm and friendly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back.

- only 1 restaurant for lunch and not many choices on the menu, good thing is many restaurants nearby

- MASSAGE >_< we booked our 90 mins massage for two ppl (20:00-21:30), we arr at the spa at 07:50, got into our room at 20:00, one of the girls arr at 20:05 and massage finished at 21:20. THAT'S CHEATING

- good location

- most staff are friendly except one of the waiters wouldn't let us sit in the restaurant for live music when we had our drinks in the bar

- we stayed at 1411 for the first 3 nights and moved to 1408 due to the toilet has no flushing water but the arrangement was smooth by the front desk

The location is great and close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff were fabulous and the room was clean, comfortable and as described. We did have to move room due to excessive noise from a group of other travellers who repeatedly woke us early every morning, however the staff accommodated that with no issue. The Hotel itself in general could do with a bit of maintenance
as it’s looking tired and dated in parts. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of options, the three pools are all very good and the pool foam party was a great highlight. The nightly ‘pop-up’ Warung at the front of the Hotel had sensational Indonesian food at super cheap prices which we went to several times. Overall a pleasant stay which met our needs.

The room was clean in the new part. But we booked a sea view which was only possible over buildings. We overlooked a pool which was green and not open for 6 days of our holiday. Front pool was cold and other pool was very crowded and limited staff at bar.
Breakfast was limited and we had to pay for cappuccino and lattes. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We had a deluxe renovation room (mm) not sure about that. Door to room very sticky hard to open door to balcony same. You would wake up the sleeping person if going out to balcony. Room clean and functional.

3 pools 1 with swim up bar.

The price reflects the size of resort. I personally would not stay again as i think can get same room cheaper in small hotel. If you want a larger hotel this fits the bill

We always stay at the Truntum but have found recently the rooms seem a little tired and the mattresses are quite hard. Maybe change them for newer ones or put mattress toppers on them? We always stay in the Pool Access rooms which we really like but maybe as they are always booked out it is hard to do a refurbish on them. The staff are wonderful and always look after us especially Intan and Christina. We look forward to our next stay there.

Not a big fan of Kuta, bit passed its used by date. I generally stay in different place each trip, Kuta needs a revamp.

This hotel was really good, while it is a little dated, the staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The pool and pillows were the best we had over this 4-week holiday. Having pool options was nice and the staff did remove towels on the daybeds of people who put them there but were not using them (we saw people put towels down at 9am but not return until the late afternoon) so this gave access to people who were using the pool at the time. Breakfast was nice and lunch by the pool was good. the only issue we had was the amount of people begging out the front of the hotel which we had not experienced before on previous trips to Bali. Unsure if this was related to the area or it there has been an increase in this activity in recent months.
I would love to stay here again if I could move the location.
Staff were a huge plus in this hotel.

Just had a couple of nights here. It's quite a nice hotel and in a great location in Kuta. We were in the Bali Wing, and whilst it is clean, and reasonably well maintained, it does feel a little aged. In the room, a Grand Deluxe in our case, the sleeping area was good, bathroom a bit small. Furniture in the room whilst clean is again a little aged, with some of the edges missing. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet

We only used the Kelapa Pool which was a nice place to relax. There were children jumping from the bridge at the pool, even tho the signs said not to, and staff at the pool did not say anything to them.

Food at breakfast and around the pool was generally nice.

Overall, great location and good value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort.
What made it was the staff they go over and beyond to make your stay as great as it can be.
The meals at the dining area tasted great and were affordable. The breakfest had variaty and was a good start to the day sitting around the main pool with the crashing waves within site.
The resort is in the heart of kuta beach with clear access to the beach and close access to dining out and shopping with a spa on site that my wife told me was fantastic.
We had a pool access room which my daughter loved and the staff there were amazing.
We stayed at 3 resorts on our trip and we this resort was our favorite.
We will book again on our next trip to Bali.
