The room wasn't exactly a pool view as I expected, we had a telegraph pole outside our window with a wall overlooking the staircase up to the level we were on. Trying to order certain drinks were unavailable as the ingredients were not there.

We were close to all areas such as the beach, local stores etc.

The bed linens were so filthy and dirty, the bathroom was worst than a public bathroom, its all worn down and so extremely dirty, and smelly. Pls don't waste your money here.

Room was clean, Ac worked great, staff were very helpful and friendly, 5 min walk to the beach, less then that to all the restraints and stores but far enough off the beaten path that it is quiet at night. Pool could use some Fixen up but overall would def stay here again.

Hotel is very rundown in need of update and major repairs
No hot water sink was patched up and no plug
Very bad odour in bathroom tiles all lose on bottom of pool we had to replace room key three times and tv remote didn’t work
Staff were very friendly and helpful

Average hotel ..... good location!

On arrival we were given a room which smelt of complete damp so we asked to move. We were then given a twin room instead of a double as we booked but this room was much bigger and fresher.
Location was excellent and plenty to do on the doorstep e.g bars ... restaurants .. nightlife and shops. Free bottled water was given each day in the room.
Pool area was beautiful and relaxing. The gardeners were always busy planting and cleaning the area. However lots of pool tiles were loose and could be dangerous especially for children.
The shower was warm however had outbursts of boiling water so again be careful!

Rooms smelt of sewage but other than that great pool and great facilities. I got it for £7 a night so I couldn't complain really but the smell is a big problem.. wifi works in every room

A few minutes walk to kuta square,beach and waterpark.
Located at the calmer end of Kuta hotel is tired but nice
enough only dislike was the in room towels they are old
and smelly,pool towels much fresher.would stay here again.

Good location and value for money

I like the colors in the room, the location and it is value for money. An amazing, proactive hands on manager. I required medical care and she went out of her way to check on me as I was traveling alone and assisted to ensure I paid a reasonable price at the hospital.
You regularly see the manager walking around keeping an eye on things and coaching staff.

The exterior is a little tired.
The sink is located outside of the bathroom, which is fine but I think they should provide soap and hand towel for the sink and also a small shelf to put your tooth brush on etc.
However putting that to the side for a three star with good rates, it is a good value for money.

Ozz Hotel - Disappointing

Stayed here at the beginning of 2016 and loved it. This year we didn't love it. The staff are amazing. Can't complain about them. The linen was marked and worn and greyish. My son's room had a drainage smell that was very offensive and big marks and dents on his walls. His room had coffee making facilities but my room didn't for some reason. My son booked a 15 night stay and his room was near the service room so he was awoken every morning by the service staff. I was only there for 3 nights. On our last night a rat ran into his room. Rats are everywhere and everyone knows that Kuta has rats so no big deal really but when the service guys were getting it out it ran onto my son's foot and left two tiny teeth marks under his big toe. Not nice at all. Rat dropping were under his bed so they gave him another room. This room was so much better than his and than mine. With such a long stay they should have given him the best room from the start. On leaving they told us that the room he was in for the majority was marked for renovation!!!! Not at all happy. I think they should have refunded his entire money!!!!!

close to everything

This was our third stay at the ozz hotel .We love the fact that it is so close to the beach and everything but is such a quiet little hotel.The rooms surround the pool so no long treks to your room if you forget something.The staff are lovely.The pool decking needs a lot of fixing and the rooms need a shelf for toiletries and shelves to put your undies etc and need more lights but we spoke to the manager Dewa who assured us that they are working on correcting these problems but it will take time .The beds are very comfortable and pillows good. Breakfast caters more to the Indonesian style so not the best but is adequate and the omelettes are good. We have been to Bali many many times and have stayed in many hotels all over Bali but We will definitely be back at the Ozz

Close to everything.

We had a great experience here, we booked this place at the end of our trip to basically relax. They have a nice sunny poolside. Pretty good food, great barbecue one night. Rooms have fridges and are very comfortable. There's also a DVD player in the room, and a movie shop right down the street. Staff were always very cheerful and prompt.

Quiet hotel yet close to central Kuta

My second stay at zodiac Ozz. Not flash at all but is quiet and secluded and very cheap. Staff are tremendous and breakfast was superb. Highly recommended for the budget traveller who wishes to spend time in Kuta. Waterbom park only 10 to 15 min walk.

A Chalet Standard Hotel

Besides being located in a good location, the other pros are the 50 available TV channels and a firm bed. The cons include cracked wall, bed sheet that made my skin itched, absence of shampoo and coffee/tea making facility & being awaken before 6 am daily as my room was next to the hotel's housekeeping room. I doubt I will ever stay in this hotel again.

We have been lucky with our room, it was close to the reception so our wifi was very good! The stuff is very friendly, breakfast is nice and tasty, once we started our day earlier and there was nothing to eat and The stuff was not in rush to set it. Sometimes they are a bit slowly...

Security guard insisted on helping carry my bag (which had wheels) a whopping 10 meters and then insisted on a tip. Very impertinent.

The staff was lovely! They accommodated my early checkout and made sure I had breakfast! The room was okay. The bathroom smelled a bit like urine, but I just kept the door closed. It's a good spot if you're intending to stay 1-2 nights or need a place to crash for a late / early flight, but I wouldn't stay any longer.

Hotel were great. Changed our rooms from upstairs to down on request and because of availability. 1 room mum and dad 2nd room brother and sister. What a great location. Gave it a 5 rating for what it is. Will definitely stay there again.

Room's light too Dim

The hotel staff is thoughtful and make our honeymoon stay in this hotel memorable. Many thanks to the hotel management for this.
It's a pity that the room appear dimmer. If the lights are brighter, it will be better.
Same applies to the swimming pool too, needs brighter light.Hotel location is ok, there are warung around it and near to Kuta beach.

Ok place to stay in Kuta

My stay was alright. Small hotel with pool in centre. Pool was nice. Room is quite small with absolutely no storage. Shower sprayed out instead of down. Room was kept clean during stay. Just to let you know there is a shortcut to Main Street which I did not find out about for some time. Saves a lot of walking. Hard for taxis to find. Overall okay and close to Kuta.

Very very bad service at breakfast. Waited over 40 minutes to get eggs cooked. Just disorganised.
Two taxis could not find hotel. Ended up taking nearly 2 hours from airport to hotel.

MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT PHONE CALLS AND BEING LIED TOO

I have stayed here on two previous hoilidays and was excited to return. My last stay I have to say, I notice a big change. It seemed to me that management was trying to get as much $$$ out of the guests as possible and they were trying to save on having to restock, toiletries and pool towels and keeping the hotel repaired. For example many guests vented that the rooms types they had booked and paid for, they did not get and when they asked about it , were told they had to pay more to upgrade, many guests just paid and did not speak up. I was put in the same situation and was lied to about the room type I purchased. I was told that there was no more rooms available ( ground foor with balcony ) for my stay, I gave them two choices to find me a room i paid for or i wanted a refund. I was told it was Expedia's fault, blah blah blah, I paid for a room with a balcony or terrace at an additinal cost , which was on my invoice, not a window. Wouldnt you know, they found me the room, I paid for the following day. But being lied too, made me annoyed . I also notice that many guest were getting phone calls in the middle of the night, including myself, three nights in a row up to two/ three calls the hotels solution was pull the plug, they had no answer to why the calls would not stop. Many guest belived it was marketing, and your phone number at check in was being given to a third party. Overall,the location is great, would i stay again. No, I hate liers and have lost trust now.

Ozz is a great place to stay. No loud thumping night clubs or loud hotel guests. This was my second visit and would go back again. Nothing is ever to much trouble for the friendly staff. Each morning the breakfast was a little different And there was always plenty. The egg station accommodated our preferences and was cooked perfectly. The location of Ozz Is awesome. It is very quiet, tucked in from the busy streets of Kuta. A short walk gets you out on the street amongst the hassle and bustle of markets, surf shops, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping centres (Discovery and Matahari are just minutes away). The beach and sunsets are not far from your front door, only a two minute walk away. For those looking for a clean, friendly, well located and quiet spot to laze away your days in Bali, Ozz might be the place for you.

Great budget hotel

My husband and I booked a room here for the afternoon. We were flying out late and wanted a place to shower and store our luggage while we looked around kuta for the afternoon. It was in a great location. My biggest complaint was the bathroom, it smelled and wasn't overly clean, but for $30 for the night I was willing to overlook that. Everything else was great. Modern, comfy room. Great deal for the price.

Good hotel but questionable air conditioning

Overall the hotel was good but when the bathroom fan was left on the odour of all the toilets in the hotel seemed to flow into my room. I did have an end room so maybe that was the cause of this problem. It was also necessary for me to ask to have the safe fixed to the wall of the cupboard as it was just sitting free in the cupboard and I was able to lift it up and out which a thief could also have done.Other than these problems the service was good and I enjoyed my stay as long as I turned the bathroom fan off.

Cute hotel, good location, friendly staff

The hotel was perfect for what I was aiming for - close to the beach and Kuta square, not terribly expensive, but clean and in a safe area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet, and my room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was tasty. I spent most of my time out of the hotel, so the location was important but not necessarily the facilities. Other hotels, esp. by the beach had larger pools but as ordering a drink (or just wandering in) gained me access to those I did not need a huge pool at this hotel. The pictures of the rooms are pretty accurate to what I found. I chose the hotel because of the price and the fact that there were no bad reviews, and after my stay I understand why there were none.

Good location but lots of hidden charges

Location was great, close to Kuta centre area and walking distance to beach. But we weren't very happy with the hidden charges-at every opportunity they tried to charge us extra and we had to stand our ground.definitely tension you don't need in a trip

Not a 4 star hotel

The Oz hotel is portrayed on Expedia as a 4 star hotel this is only a 2 star hotel and am not sure why we have star ratings when they are false. The room is adequate but has no frills, 4 hangers are provided to hang clothes on a rail no wardrobe no drawers. The toilet and shower are in a separate room but for some unknown reason the sink is in the bedroom and has nowhere to put toiletries etc No room service, no lift. I spoke to the manager about star rating and he acknowledged it was an error and would speak to his advertising department and get it sorted but it still hasn't been changed.

照明が簡素で暗い。
大通りからかなり中へ回り込んだ道の行き止まりだところにある。
そのため、夜間はかなり暗く女性1人で夜7時以降はホテルから外出しない方がいいとガイドに言われた。
治安はあまりよくないと感じた。
プールでのんびりするだけの滞在ならば許容範囲かもしれないが、女性同士の滞在には勧めない。

値段の割には
まず部屋は満足でいいと思います。
トイレもウォシュレットがあったのには嬉しい誤算でした。
シャワーの出が少し悪く排水がスムーズに流れないのが少し残念。
プールが目の前で使い易いし良かったです。
朝食は軽めナシゴレン美味しいでしたよ。
フルーツもあり
ドリンクはコーヒーと南国ジュース。
私は次もありかなと思いました。
あくまでも、値段の割には良かく満足できたという事で、浮いたお金で買い物が多くできました。

- Kantstötta och knarrande möbler.
- Beläggningar på väggar och golv i badrummet
- MASSA URINFLÄCKAR PÅ TOASITSEN!!! Vi bad dem städa toaletten men kom tillbaka och fann toasitsen fortsatt smutsig - VIDRIGT!!
- Dåligt vattentryck i duschen
- Nedgången byggnad och poolområde
- Ligger på en bakgård utan gatulampor

Även fast jag inte hade höga förväntningar så är jag mycket besviken på denna vistelse! Lägg era pengar på ett annat boende.

前回のよい記憶から定宿にしようと今回の旅で二泊と、三泊で二度に分けて、泊まりましたが、どちらも、まさかのいけてない部屋…2度めの滞在で又同じ部屋に通されかなり、残念でした。その部屋は、シャワーが、非常に難しく、少ない水でかなり時間がかかるのと、急に熱湯になるので、なんども火傷しました。ベッドを少しずらすと、掃除の行き届いてないのが、目の当たりでした。
ハウスキーピングをわすれたり、バスマットやトイレットペーパーもなかったり、かなりムラがありました。朝食も、少なすぎるメニューにも関わらず補充もされず、サービス面でも、かなり、落ちていると滞在２度とも、感じ残念でしたが、立地はやはり、spa.コンビニ、ﾜﾙﾝ、お土産やさん、スーパーと徒歩圏内で、立地だけはno1のままです。

Not bad for a 3*

Staff is OK. Only during weekends they are a bit slower. Service is not bad for a 3* hotel. Towels are clean but some have old stains or small holes. Although they were soft. Rooms are quite big for Kuta and the TV is great.

房間充滿霉味，馬桶尿騷味房間內就聞到，房間打掃不乾淨｡冷氣壞掉請飯店換房間，櫃臺告知當日滿房，工人修到半夜修不好，櫃臺才同意給換房。早餐內容非常少，大概只有5種食物，沒什麼東西可以吃。整體而言，只有離海灘和市集近，不會再選擇入住｡

大晦日のためか2100k強の宿泊料金でした。
こちらも緊急避難だったので仕方ないのですが、
朝食込のプランで予約してるはずなのに、余分にチャージしようとしてきたり、
部屋を間違えたのに、自分の鍵ですぐ隣の部屋の鍵が開いてしまったり、
トイレのシャワーが止まらなくなったり、、、

Leuk hotel met vriendelijk personeel!

Leuk hotel, heel dichtbij kuta square. Het strand is dichtbij. Hotel is goed en schoon, maar heeft wel wat onderhoud nodig!
