Fantastic room, king size bed, GREAT WIFI, amazing AC, nice bathroom. The staff were so kind. The buffet breakfast for 6 US dollars had many choices. Good location, quiet at night. I walked most places or took a vepsa on Grab for 1-2 dollars a ride.

Absolutely amazing stay, I loved everything about it, all staff was welcoming, breakfast was always beautiful one thing about my room though where I did dislike was my aircon wasn’t properly working so we would sweat during the whole day and the night when sleeping and there wasn’t any fan so we did go during summer time which just made everything else hot for us. But everything was really really excellent will definitely come back again.

Check in was a little different with a QR code setup.
Staff friendly. Room was nice - we had the pool access room which led straight out to the pool via the deck. Enough lounge chairs for reading next to the pool. The pool is very cold as it doesn’t get a lot of sun. I couldn’t swim in it myself but I seen a few try their luck.
Breakfast was good, eggs cooked your way and other options.
Bathroom good size could do with a shower curtain or door but acceptable for the price.
They didn’t seem to have pool towels which would be handy as I didn’t bring my own.
Bed was comfy and they had plenty of English movie channels to choose from. Air con worked great.
Overall for the price very good hotel.

Easy to walk to night clubs or poppies lane. Heaps of great food places around as well. 8min walk to big shopping centre!

The staff here were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, accomodating and even offered us free upgrades and late checkout. When you need help, they go above and beyond to help.
The free breakfast buffet was delicious, and enjoying it by the pool was a highlight of each day.
The location was perfect, close to everything. With a chemist and 24 hour medical clinic a few steps away, endless shops and places to eat, nightlife and only a 10 minute walk to Kuta beach and Beach walk shopping centre. So very convenient.
For the price you pay, truly a wonderful place to stay. Would highly recommend it 😊

It was very clean and welcoming! The staff were so helpful when we asked for clean towels and to help us break large bills. This hotel is neat and the bed was so comfy and CLEAN.

The shower can be wiped down or cleaned a bit but still tidy and no smells.

Clean rooms, amazing staff.

The hotel is clean, well kept, but what shines the most is the staff. I had the pleasure to meet Gek Mas, the receptionist, who was so warm and exceptional in her helpfulness. All the staff was amazing and so caring to make sure our stay was worthy of remembering. We also met Lea, a server at the delicious breakfast buffet, who was always quick to a smile and always made sure my time at the restaurant was fantastic. When staying in kuta for a night or for an extended stay like I do, there isn't another hotel I rather stay in. Plus the air conditioning in my room is second to none not only in Bali, but anywhere.

Hotel was ok staff was nice, but they let some mental Japanese guy stay there that sat outside his room and smoked cigarettes and yelled at ghosts the entire time I was there. Also Saturday night music by the pool the entertainment was loud, and NOT talented. There was also some type of mechanical noise that sounded like you were living in the belly of the beast. I think it was coming from outside the hotel so maybe not much they could do about it, but made sleeping but very difficult.

The check-in process at the hotel was smooth, and I had a great experience with the front desk staff and professional kitchen employees. However, I do have a few complaints about my stay. Firstly, the bathroom in my room was moldy and had a persistent unpleasant odor. Although I reported it on the day of my arrival, the issue was not resolved during my stay.

Secondly, the constant construction noise from machinery near my room was quite bothersome. It would have been helpful if the hotel had informed guests about the ongoing construction beforehand or taken measures to mitigate the noise disturbance.

Another issue I encountered was with the hotel's laundry service, which accidentally tore my expensive Levi's t-shirt and didn't inform me about it until I returned to Australia.

Lastly, on the day of my checkout, I ordered a meal but couldn't eat at the table due to a red chair provided in the room. This resulted in a few drops of oil staining the bed. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable when the front desk staff publicly addressed the issue, although they later claimed it was a removable stain.

Despite these complaints, I might consider returning to the hotel in the future, mainly because of the service recovery regarding the bed incident. However, I hope they can improve on the mentioned aspects for a better overall experience.

This hotel is down a side street in a busy area of Kuta, close to bars, restaurants, and shopping. I checked in from a late night flight and was horrified at the cleanliness of the room, the floor was filthy and under the desk area there were nail clippings everywhere which is vile, I expect a hotel room to be thoroughly cleaned between changing guests.

Hotel was fine - nothing to write home about. Pool was nice, but things need updating. Bed was comfortable, staff was nice. Walking distance to Kuta Beach.

Walls were paper thin so you could hear everything. Photos were misleading in the listing. Overall cleanliness could be improved.

Unfortunately, our stay was made More unpleasant by other extremely loud guests. Will not be staying in the future.

I notified staff night before that i was checking out at 4am. They even offered a wake up call for 330am. I went down at 350am to check out before getting a transport for airport. No staff was to be found downstairs to help with baggage or to check out. No receptionist no security. I called out for someone for 15 mins until i realised i was going to be late for the airport. I left at note for them to contact me via email and left the room key cards on the desk as i was not able to check out. This was disappointing as we had heavy luggage and had to bring it down ourseleves. They did not answer the phone and if it was an emergency situation this would be terrible.

The service was good, the staff always smiling and greeting. The room amenities were not always properly provided. For example, we only had one hair cap while there were two of us in the room. A new bar of soap was not provided each day. The bathroom tissue paper was not refilled.

The room cleaning is very good. The breakfast bar has both local options and international dishes to select from. Every morning you get to experience a new dish and juice (a very enjoyable experience). The egg section is not perfect, they may miss your order if there are a lot of other people. They need to add table numbers so that orders don't get mixed up or forgotten.

The place is very safe, and you will always find staff making sure only eligible people enter the property. The staff also gives you great advice on where to find things, and good deals.

We loved our stay! Right in the centre of shops, pubs, mini mart, transport and a few KM away from Beachwalk shopping mall.
There was some noise at night from the surrounding pubs but it is too be expected being in the centre of everything.
Buffet breakfast was the best out of all hotels that we stayed in, we stayed in 6 hotels in total :P
Highly recommend this place, the staff are very nice and accomodating.

This is a great little hotel tucked away just of the main strip in Kuta. The area itself isn’t that nice, but the hotel is great. The staff were great and the food was epic. My only watch out regard so booking excursions. The package price quoted EXCLUDED the cost of all the individual elements (e.g. rafting) and they didn’t communicate this.

Great Value in Kuta Area

For the price, NEO+ is unbeatable. However, do your research about staying in Kuta vs. other areas in Bali such as Seminyak or Canggu so that you know what to expect. Kuta is very congested and party central with lots of clubs and local vendors trying to sell you everything you can imagine. NEO+ is right in the middle of it all which is great if that’s what you’re looking for. The beach is within walking distance and the rooms are nicely air conditioned. Everything is overall very clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend to travelers on a budget who want to stay in the middle of the action in Kuta.

Great location as a base to explore Kuta, perfect for the beach, warungs, knock off shopping, bars and dining, not so good for sleeping - sky garden across the road kicks out at 4am and is so loud you feel like you’re inside. Saying that, if you are stumbling out at 1am onwards, then you won’t notice and the walk home will be 2 minutes! The room is small but all you need for a couple for a night, facilities are good but no sun around the pool midday onwards. Great shower, no free safe though.

Disappointed with some aspects of service!
We were told to go back into our room so could do a photo shoot! Bit hard when your room is right on pool!
Complementary water was only complementary 2 of the 5 days I stayed apparently.
Family in another room had same issue plus didn’t get room made up 2 days at all!
When leaving asked for taxi to be called sent to taxi desk, were he refused to call a Blue Bird taxi cause he didn’t work for them, man behind desk ignored the situation and served someone else!
A broken coffee cup that the handle snapped off when it was used for the purpose of drinking coffee was charged on leaving at the outrageous amount of 120,000 rupiah YES $12.00aus for a cheap black mug... best bit is the toothbrushes that at no point were informed costed $$$$ billed at leaving 10,000 rupiah... each!
thanks but no thanks Hotel Neo! Won’t be back or recommend you to anyone I know... same really you had potential...

Our stay was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is located walking distance from the beach, a lot of restaurants, shops and the sky garden club. The only downfall is that the shower walls are actually stained glass so you can see the shadow of the person showering from outside of the shower. However, you can’t actually see the person, only the silhouette. It’s more ideal for couples and close friends. I shared a room with my bestie so it was okay with us but if you are sharing a room with someone who you don’t know quite as well it may be a bit uncomfortable. Other than that I have absolutely no complaints and I would stay again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in kuta.

- too loud as we were located next to Sky Garden and surrounding bars & Club but the staff moved us to the rooms further behind which helped alot.
- Ordered room service and it came cold. I ordered the chicken sandwhich but there was barely any chicken in the sandwich. Ended up wasting it.
- Went for happy hour and it was overpriced for cocktails that barely filled the glass and extremely watered down. It was over 250k for 2 half glass cocktails.
- Dont get a taxi provided by the hotel as they charge over 100k for less than a 10 minute drive down to kuta beach as we were an unaware that the beach was that close.

Overall i wont come back as the price for accomodation does not fit the room.

Charged for airport transfer despite website saying it was included in price.
Also charged for breakfast lattes/coffees when it should be included in the breakfast (we have stayed at other hotels that have included this - or didn't offer it so we at least didn't get stung by an additional charge) - this charge was not made clear to us when serving us.
Room had a leak from the roof.
Room was reasonable - asked for a Queen and a single but got 3 single beds - they pushed 2 of the single beds together which was just okay, but we paid for a Deluxe Balcony room and expected a bit more than just a standard Supreme room.
Breakfast was OK - disappointed they did not serve bacon - they only have 'Beef bacon'. Apparently all Neo hotels do not serve bacon - be aware of this if you are a fan of bacon!
Pool was nice, enjoyed lounging on the lounges - but would be nice if they removed the cushions every night on the lounges as they would get soaking wet overnight or when it rained.
Staff were very nice. It was an average stay - I have stayed in Bali many times at different hotels so I know what is good and what isn't.

Great stay, always with a smile!

Facilities, staff, rooms, pool, beds, breakfast all 5 stars.
We stayed here for 5 days, then extended for five more days. The staff is adorable, they do everything to make you have a great stay. First night I noticed a problem with the bed. 5 minutes after reporting, someone came to our room to check. Turned out the bed was broken, so we immediately got another room. When I lost my jacket they let me see the cameras to figure out where I might have lost it.
As to cleanliness, i’d give a 3. I can’t compare to other hotels in Bali but compared to other hotels in Asia I noticed some flaws in this hotel, which when reported were fixed immediately though. The sheets for example are washed, but still have stains, as well as the beachtowels. The floor of the rooms are not cleaned every day, so there’s still hair and dust after housekeeping cleansing the room. Both remarks were dealt with 5 minutes after we reported, with a smile and apoligies. The paper napkins at breakfast aren’t thrown away afterwards, they just put other forks on it when the napkins still look ok. At the end of our stay we got a free late check out which would have been 20€, as compensation for the change of room the first night. Delicious breakfast with good variety. Love their pancakes! Beside the small remarks we had a great stay and would def stay again. With some little changes on points commented, this hotel would deserve a 5 star review. Overall 4,5 right now.

Decent Enough

Building is new, clean and the lift is working well. However, no outlet on both sides of your bed which is quite inconvenient in case you might want to use your phone while charging. No bidet in the toilet - there's a huge gap/space between the sink and the toilet bowl which is very unusual from the hotels that i have visited in Asia and Indo-Pacific Regions. Perhaps the architect or the engineer missed the calculation? Anyway, they could have just provide better amenities since the building is situated in a very strategic location in the city.
