⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Family Stay at Sultan Gardens – Amazing Reef, Warm Staff, and a Minor Note

We had a fantastic stay at Sultan Gardens in Sharm El Sheikh! The coral reef at their private beach is truly incredible—easily the best we’ve ever experienced. Snorkeling was unforgettable.

The staff were outstanding—very friendly and attentive. My daughter, who loves languages, was thrilled when the lifeguards taught her some basic Arabic. She enjoyed greeting the staff with “Marhaba” and always received warm smiles in return.

The atmosphere felt very safe for families, and my daughter quickly made friends. Although most guests were Russian at the time, everyone was friendly, and as my wife and daughter are Ukrainian, they felt welcomed and included.

We also loved the coffee house, which was a great spot for a proper coffee after breakfast. Restaurant staff always made us feel welcome and found us a table—upstairs on the balcony was our favorite place to enjoy dinner while watching the show.

Rooms were spotless, cleaned daily, and Abdul from housekeeping checked in often to make sure we were happy—great service all around.

Great stay and restaurants were good. Service was excellent. The only thing I highly disliked was the use of too much air fresheners/perfume in the rooms and all through out the hotel. So strong it would make me nauseous sometimes.. definitely dial down the use of fake fragrances that smell chemically.

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel! The decoration and design were absolutely stunning—artistic, tasteful, and full of character. Every corner felt thoughtfully put together, making the space feel both welcoming and inspiring.

The staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived, always ready with a smile and happy to help. A special thank you to the hotel manager, who truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment.

Chef Mohsen was simply amazing. He personally prepared special meals for my two sons, who are picky and almost hard to please, and somehow managed to get them excited about mealtime! We’re so grateful for the extra care and attention the restaurant staff gave us. From Hagar and Mohamed to Hosny; a big thank you for their kindness and warmth. They really made us feel at home.

The buffet was another highlight; fresh, delicious, and full of variety. There were new and exciting options every day, including meat, chicken, seafood, veggies, and plenty of fruits and desserts. We looked forward to every meal.

Overall, a truly memorable experience. We’d absolutely come back!

This was my trip from America to Egypt. I isuallly visit sharm el sheikh every year. It was my first time at this hotel and this will be my last time.
Ibrahim el Sayed gave me a terrible experience at check in.
I had to call the manager Mr. Amr to help out. I was checked in to my room after more than an hour and a half even though they weeent even busy.
I would give good ratings to Beshoy and Haytham they did great job.
But I wouldn’t come back ever to this hotel.

Staff here were all friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and cleaned each morning. Food was what you would expect from all inclusive but also had the choice of dining at the three a la carte restaurants. Choice of pools which was great as you could relax without it being too busy.

The resort was beautiful. Service was excellent. There is only a very little beach, but there is a jetty for getting into the water for a small snorkelling area. Buffet was very large with lots of variety. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Pools, some were heated, some weren't, but they were never crowded. Highly recommended

Really enjoyable holiday, very friendly and attentive staff, very good main buffet and option to go a la carte in Italian and French restaurants. Excellent facilities for kids and easy access to the beach, with a shuttle bus to take you back up to the main areas if you didn’t want to walk. Lots of differing evening entertainment and we had 3 good massages in the spa. Overall very little to criticise other than the green keeper on the mini golf needed to get his broom out to sweep the course!! otherwise the site's grounds are immaculate.

Sultan Garden Resort has all possible amenities that a family holiday needs - Private beach, heated pools, family suites, plenty of activities for kids and adults. It's conveniently located close to Airport and less than 30 mins to old town and connected with superb roads and less traffic. Resort staff is extremely good to look after their guys, special mention of the chief Chek Shokri and Chef Anil, who has taken care of our dietary needs and always there to make things right. Likewise guest services being helpful to arrange food (veg food choices are limited). It's great time spent at resort. Only thing to call out is for vegenerian diet not many option for food. Lastly then Expedia books package holiday, they don;t really take care of the gap between hotel check-out and flight departure, in our case we had to hand around at resort for evening flight and realised that there was no arrangement for evening food. Rest it's a great place and weather in Dec was sunny.

We have had another fantastic stay here, this is our fourth time now! The last time we came was about 12 years ago and the service and food has kept its really high standard. The service is second to none from Ashraf the chef making my grand daughter special pancakes and making us the best konafa you will ever have, to Essam the head chef continually taking his time out to play with my grand daughter, to Mahmoud our waiter for having our table ready even before we got there! The pool staff were excellent as were the room cleaners. I cannot praise the resort high enough and we shall be coming back here on a regular basis. Room 242 had great views of the sea with the taff taff shuttle service right outside it!

One of the best all-inclusives I've ever been to.

Food is the highlight here, the chef team have impressed every night for my 2 week stay - I enjoyed every offering, 3 times a day!

All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive.

Perfect location, with heated pools, fantastic dive school on-site, great for a winter escape!

Plus: 24hr drinks, 2 mini golfs, and soft serve ice cream!!

Buffet selection on the meals were great and the ambience too. The only thing is about the other guests, we did see lots of East Europeans to be very rude with the staff, that was awful :/

A great stay for the family

I stayed at Sultan Gardens Resort for 12 nights. My group was my wife and 1 year old daughter. From the first night to the last, we had an incredible stay. The staff are some of the most friendliest and helpful people I've encountered on my travels (special mention to Lofty in the main restaurant). The quality of food in the resort is fantastic, the rooms are all clean and well maintained. There's pools, a private beach, kids play area, kids pools, and other activities during the day to keep you entertained. But most of all, we wanted a relaxing comfortable time away and we got that.

The staff especially are excellent - they always have a smile on their face and go out of their way to play, talk and entertain my daughter when they saw her.

My only issue is the wifi in the rooms is a bit hit and miss, but this is a minor issue. In all other aspects, we were really happy that we decided to stay here, and are already thinking about returning next year.

Impressive dedication to customer service!

Despite some issues both before & during our holiday, I am pleased to be able to give this resort a 5 star review. Negatives, Hotels.com state that this resort offers a transfer from the airport. You are instructed to contact the hotel 48hrs in advance to arrange this. I emailed the hotel 3 days before arrival & again 2 days before, yet failed to receive any reply to this date. I also telephoned 48hrs prior to arrival and my call whilst answered, was left off the hook with no communication for a full 4 minutes at International call rates. So contacting the hotel in advance is nigh on impossible! In the event, on arrival at the airport we were forced to haggle for a taxi at a cost of 20 Euro. I was subsequently advised by the hotel that they operate a scheduled shuttle at a cost of 5 Euro per person each way. Also, my partner used the Spa for a 2hr treatment but felt let down when it ended up being less than 90 minutes with only 30 minutes was in massage, the other hour in preparation using Sauna, hot tub etc. Positives... What impressed me most was the way in which these issues were resolved and how all the staff from Mohamed on reception (one of many as Mohamed also the name of our room service attendant and some waiting staff) to the staff in the Spa plus all the restaurant staff just couldn't do enough to make you feel special. The Spa staff gave my partner a complimentary repeat massage and for the issues regarding shuttle we received an upgrade and free transport on dep.

We enjoyed a great stay with Sultan Gardens. Few points for improvement, labelling of the food as very difficult to know what your are eating / what the sauces are. Just more detail and labelling everything clearly. The shop at the hotel is extremely overpriced, which i understand to an extent but maybe worth trying to improve this as there are shops just outside that are cheap! Other than, a beautiful, clean hotel with great pools, a lovely beach and mostly friendly staff! I would stay again.

And I ate in Restaurants around the globe 4-5 Continents ... and lived in many large cities around the world. .. so this restaurant is a must while in Sultan Gardens ! In SSH. ... enjoy ! The massage. . The spa needs an update but the package of body scrub and 2, 55 min massages

The resort is huge with plenty of areas to walk around (we managed to hit our 10,000 steps every day just by going to various restaurants, bars and pools) but there’s also a hotel “bus” if need be.

There is lots of choice for food throughout the day and we also tried the Indian a la carte restaurant which was the best food we had during our stay and would highly recommend!

We had everything we needed in the property for a great vacation. several pools, private beach, spa, gym, shows, vast selection of food etc.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious, well equiped and clean.
The only con is the location which is a little bit remoted. If you want to go out to dine/shopping/entertainment etc, you will need to take a taxi which is not cheap. There are some shops right outside the property but not for real shopping.

Very bad Pool Towel System

Hotel is generally very good, Rooms are perfect specially suites and suites with Jacozy, also snorkeling is one of the best places, Food has a great variety …however most of it was missing something to be more tasty.
However my major bad experience with with the Hotel very strange pool and beach towel system that requires the guests to use one towel every day and keep carrying it from room to pool to beach and back where they are very heavy and since they all look alike we dont know who towel is who … they claimed that this is for covid reasons however it actually helps covid spread more … after two days we discovered you can change the towel at the pool or beach but only in certain time slots !!! To Hotel management this is a MUST change to the usual towel system found in all hotels in sharm or any other place in the world where its not required from guest to carry these heavy towels around

A very positive stay. The staff were attentive and polite. It was easy to book guides and activities directly through the resort, although more options beyond central Sharm el Sheikh could be offered. The food could be improved, and would have been nice to see a full activity plan of what the resort has to offer. It was sometimes difficult to know what and when entertainment and activities were happening. Taxi services provided by the resort were good and the guy running it very nice.

I stayed for 11 nights in Sultan Gardens and it was really great. Beautiful gardens, clean, nice pools, lovely food, I had a sea view room and the view was ... WOW. and last but not least the service and stuff was the best ever specially Mr Lotfy the restaurant manager. Just one thing the guests were all families an almost all Russians. So it can get boring if you stay alone.

It was one of the wonderful trips! The resort is very nice, clean, and big. Staff are so friendly. Rooms are very very clean and big enough. Beach area is big (however, you have to bring the towel from your room, no towel at the beach). Animation team so friendly and nice, especially Sofiya and Tima. The service at the beach bar was so good and if you would like to have a tasty drinks just ask for Elazab and he will made you the best drink!
We highly recommend the resort for family, group of friends, as well as couples.

In general this was a nice family oriented all inclusive resort. Service was a little smothering as around every turn was a staff member asking where I was from and saying welcome. This was a nice touch but got quickly got tiring. My biggest complaint was that the water was turned off for 4-6 hours in the middle of the day for system maintenance. Although we were notified the day before, there was no apologies let alone anything like a free drink coupon. And when I asked for a late check out the next day since we had a late flight, they wanted to charge us $50. When I said it should be complementary given we didn't have any water the day before (no sink, toilet or shower), they said we would still have to pay. This disappointed me.

I don't like, I love everything about the property from the staff to the arm of the resort. I even brung in New Years there!! This is my second time going there and I will be going back again!!! Thanks everyone!!!

The GREAT: the staff works exceptionally hard to make sure the property is spotless and clean. The staff are very kind and work VERY hard. The grounds and property are gorgeous, and they offer non-stop things to do, plenty of options for pools/restaurants/activities at the resort itself. I really loved this place! It's beautiful and peaceful and special.
The few negatives; the pillows are brand-new, very large and hard as a rock- which makes your back scream after just one night. I had to dig out a blanket in the closet to use as a pillow; people with bad backs- be prepared. And, if you are an American you will hate the food. The same boring and tasteless buffet daily; kind of your worst nightmare, like a garage-sale of food where you pick through hundreds of gross things just to find one or two things you might like. Coffee is powdered- never fresh. Canned vegetables are cooked in Ketchup, and those of you who are vegetarians or just want to eat healthy? Good luck! Huge buffet, all tasteless and boring loaded with sugar and no flavor. Heartbreaking really. But if you love tons of bread and junk food- this is the place for you.

Me and my husband stayed in Sultan Gardens for 10 days. Beautiful Gardens and the sea is excellent for snorkeling. The territory of the hotel is perfect and very well maintained.
Excellent customer service in all the departments.
The room was spacious and always very clean but beds can be more comfortable.
The food was excellent and menu varied every day at the main restaurant.
The resort has 5 pools, As we did not go with kids, we preferred the adult pool which was very spacious, clean and has everything including a Jacuzzi
Superb resort. I would definitely visit again and I would highly recommend to others

I won’t rate this as a 5 star hotel. It’s very outdated. However resort is nice and location is good. But food is not good at all! Also the variety is very poor!

When checking in asked if possible sea view, was told we had pool view - not so much - the view was of the nightly entertainment theater - so you can say we did not get to sleep until the shows where over every night - very hard when you need to sleep because your flight is at 2:45 am. the rooms was very nice but location :(

I wouldn’t stay there again

The staff does a good job however, the hotel has some stupid rules and operating procedures. Unlike almost every hotel in the world you cant have any friends come to your room unless they are a hotel guest. They must stay in the lobby, that at the time of my stay was full of drunk Russians. Not the best way to catch up with an old friend. You have to wear these hospital style wrist bands that make you a target for everyone selling stuff outside the hotel. Only one place to eat on the property and the food was trash. Gotta drive 10 mins to get good food. Hotel taxis and shuttles are way over priced. Rooms are clean and very nice but i watched the staff clean their mops out in one of the pools. Wifi is super fast and easy to use. For what I paid I wasn’t happy.

the best hotel I have stayed in Sharm. I have changes two rooms in total and they were both good, no remarks. The food was also great, large variety and good service. The sun beds are old and towels very old and basic. What I did not like is that Soho square provides free shuttle service for tourists and sends this shuttle upon request which the hotel makes. However we were not informed that such free shuttle exist and we were offered a taxi from the hotel for 18 USD. Later we found out that other hotels call the shuttle upon request of their guests. I understand that the hotel wants to make extra profit by charging its guests for taxi but for 5 * hotel with such reputation is unacceptable to have such a sneaky policy.

Good hotel. Food is not so good, I expected better food varieties and quality knowing Sharm Elsheikh 5 stars hotels. Entertainment team is working very hard and very friendly. Staff at the restaurant need to be trained how to work under stress, there was 2 nights where the hotel was fully booked and they were panicking and creating more noise at the eating area than the guests themselves. Bar tenders need to know more about cocktails varieties. Overall, it’s an okay hotel!

This is a huge resort where you have to walk a lot to move from one place to another, with multiple swimming pools and areas. It is an ocean front hotel with a splendid view of Turer Island floating in the Read Sea. But most important: the staff is really great. This is my second time here and given that I am not familiar with the country or the region , I feel safe here as a pause point between Mount Sinai and Cairo.

I did not know I could watch the sunrise right in front of the terrace. It was an amazing sight! Everything here is wonderful. The staff is very nice and the facilities are great, all in front of the Red Sea. Don't miss it!
