The property itself was great. Huge area, multiple pools and restaurants, loads of activities and a great beach !
The rooms were clean and the staff were extremely helpful especially the lifeguards. They accommodated our request to move rooms as well so that we could be closer to the main building.

All the pools were really lovely and clean, the staff were all very friendly, the food was pretty much what you expect from an all inclusive but I will say the lunch at the Baslico was particularly good. It was good that most of the restaurants were included in the all inclusive, overall great stay and would recommend.

We stayed for a week in one of the rooms looking over the Red Sea in the Posh Club. The room was spotless and spacious. The staff were fantastic in every respect. We enjoyed all of the restaurants. The transfers to and from the airport were flawless. The laundry service was outstanding. We definitely would love to come back. Thanks to Hanna, Hassan and many others who made the stay special. The Spa and message therapy was also wonderful.

The Sunrise resort was pretty much what I expected, so was a pleasant surprise because of my relatively high expectations going in. One thing that could be improved is coffee preparation during off lunch hours. It took 20 min and asking 3 different staff to get 2 cappuccinos.

Positive- The room was cleaned everyday. The young man was respectful and worked hard.
The buffet restaurant had exceptional food. The manager outside in the patio area where the music was performed did an outstanding job, always responding to our requests kindly. Good service with the sack lunches- appreciated that the fruits were washed with filtered water.
Negative- Horrible check in reception- waited for the room , 45 minutes, yet did not tell us. They did not tell us anything about the place- did not know about the free restaurants and did not know about the free liquor choices.

don't often write reviews, but I had to for this experience because it was, in a word, exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every detail was thoughtfully curated and perfectly executed.

The service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a wonderful time.
The quality was top-notch. Whether it was the food (incredibly fresh and flavorful), the accommodations (spotless and comfortable), or the final product (exactly what we envisioned), everything exceeded our already high expectations.

Hard to relax when you must watch your belongings at the pool closely! Our overall decent experience was overshadowed by theft at the pool and poor staff/security response. The snorkeling off the pier was the best part, food was plentiful but very mediocre and they ran out of items 30 mins into dinner and didn’t refill some. The staff were generally helpful and pleasant, but when my sunhat and cover up went missing at the pool, the response was frustratingly incompetent. After returning twice to Guest Services and then waiting over 20 minutes for Security, the response was that the guard wanted to help me search my room. My coverup and hat went missing from the pool & my family looked everywhere around the area because I didn’t want to walk back with nothing on! We knew the exact location and gave a short timeframe.
I had to walk back to our room in just a bathing suit and Security’s response was wanting to search my room- which meant they didn’t believe me. The camera footage ultimately showed me arriving with my items at the exact time & then they said they couldn’t see anything else and that theft has never happened at the resort before, and yet, they had a theft report form to complete. So, somehow they had a form ready for theft that never occurs… why? Their response was that they would do nothing about it. For their prices, they could have offered to make this right somehow. I wasn’t being irresponsible by leaving my wrap poolside. Choose elsewhere for these prices!

Above and beyond makes it feel like home and more!

Absoloutly amazing, I’ve been in the hospitality trade at top level and this was right up there for everything. There was only one thing that wasn’t too much of an issue and is being worked on was WiFi as internet was needed to scan for the menu in placate restaurants however they do have menus in case this doesn’t work. Other than that staff were amazing from cleaners to managers, food was amazing and plenty full. Truly amazing place and I can’t wait to return to my second home again and enjoy the comfort and location of it all again.

The hotel and all is facilities area amazing. The beach area is huge and there are so many pools to enjoy. The sea and jetty for snorkeling is very safe and lifeguards are always on duty. Amazing fishes swim around you, even in the shallows .
Highly recommend this place. Kareem, our room caretaker was brilliant and went above and beyond . Absolute gem of a guy!
Abu bakr, Mo Salah and Fadhal at the beach were also fantastic, always taking care of you with cold drinks and anything else you need. The animation team was also fab for kids and adults alike. Daily entertainment for all the ages.

The whole family (2 adults + 2 boys) had a great time here. From the moment we arrived, the staff gave us warm welcome and made sure the check in process was smooth and effortless. During our 5 days stay, the food was great from breakfast to dinner. The taste, the variety, and the freshness, all was top notch. My only reservation would be more choices of fruits could be provided. The staff are very polite and helpful. The whole site is designed and organised in a very professional and efficient way. If I were to come back to Share again, I would have no hesitation to choose this place.

The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived at the resort. Badea, who works at the front door was very friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile when we were in and out. Our cleaner for room 2223, Abdul Elaziz was amazing. Always cleaned the room to a high standard and asked if we needed anything to make our stay more comfortable in the room. And the waiter, Mo Salah was very friendly and courteous. A few of us were unwell during our stay and he was always happy to help make us feel better.

New years eve gala, food, staff & entertainment excellent.
The only disappointment was our swim up room (block D4) had no sunshine on it at all. Whereas, opposite in block D2) had sunshine all day. Just felt we were a little disadvantaged, so remember to ask.
Staff were all so attentive. Too many names to recall, but Ehab especially really looked after us every day. What a lovely smiley man too.
Definitely book the Thai, Indian restaurants if you can, and also the Mongolian - Water fall grill. The latter is outside so not overly warm over Christmas/New year period.
Our rooms were very nice, spacious, well stocked, just 100 steps away from the main buffet area, and 130 steps from the reception. If you struggle walking, I would definitely consider a flatter property. Although there was a hotel bus that runs around the perimeter of the hotel every 10 minutes.
Reception area and Churchill bar were lovely. Lots of seating. Good drinks/cocktails.

The hotel was amazing with great customer service. Everyone was very respectful and helpful.
Things to note:
1) the hotel doesn’t have a proper beach to swim in, you can only access to the water in a small area.
2) if you have the all inclusive but want to eat in other restaurants but the Buffett, you need to book with 2 days in advance (we were not told that)
3) WiFi isn’t very good and not accessible in the beach.

The hotel is beautiful, but it needs to be modified in the food, especially the private restaurants. There is a variety of food. The workers in the hotel are very good. If you do not pay them the tip, the service will be slow, but in general, it is a good hotel. We will return to the hotel for a short period. There is no entertainment in the hotel like the Rixos Seagate Hotel. The hotel manager, Mr. Muhammad Yunus, is a wonderful person. He is present everywhere all the time to make sure you have a happy vacation. In general, the hotel is good in comparison to the price. It is good for 3 nights, no more.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort. The food was very good: the buffet was amazing particularly the fresh bread and grill, the deserts were okay but I still enjoyed them; the bookable restaurants are not at all authentic but they still offer some tasty food. The drinks weren’t great: beer was good but cocktails were not at all authentic and quite cheaply constructed; however, the coffee was nice but nothing to write home about.

The staff were nice and really helpful apart from a few that jokingly suggest you give them tips which makes you feel uncomfortable.

The reason we don’t give this 5 star is because the staff around the hotel constantly trying to sell you stuff. They will have no qualms waking you up whilst you sleep to then try to sell you their service; they pretend to be interested in you and friendly and when you say no they quickly show their true character and have no interest in you. The hotel need to protect their guests from this type of behaviour and unfortunately I think we would search for a hotel that didn’t have this issue next time we stay in Sharm.

At the all-inclusive resort, the drinks aren't great, and most staff members don't speak or understand English well. Even when ordering room service, English options are limited, possibly due to the majority of tourists being from Russia and Italy. The food was okay, and cleanliness and service were satisfactory. I felt safe overall. The pool was excellent, and the beach was nice.

When i asked for late check out they hid the late check out rate and told me they are all booked and i cant late check out.(my flight was in midnight thats why i wanted to stay until then )which is a lia i had to set a new reservation through hotels .com to stay in the room for 8 more hours which was 156 usd . But the late check out fee was 90 usd. The reception people are
lack of english besides they did not listen my concerns .in fact I stayed in the same room after my new reservation.the reception people could have helped me at a cost but they prefer not to. This is not a good customer relations besides open bufet food was cold tasteless with low quality.i do not recomend this hotel at all .i will.pick a better one next time.the good things are about the transport people and room make up workers.

We LOVED our stay at the Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort! Couldn't fault a thing. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! (especially the fresh meat and fish from the grill, and pancakes for breakfast!) I guess because it was the lower season the resort was quieter than normal, which was great for us! We made use of all the pools and even decided to be big kids and try the slides (very fun). We'd recommend going to the on-site dive centre to book a boat trip with snorkelling. We took a speedboat to Tiran Island and saw the most amazing variety of fish. It's rare I want to revisit a place as I always like exploring new areas, but I would definitely come back to this hotel. Don’t stay here unless you want your property stolen from your room. I had an Apple Watch taken from my room! When I mentioned this to staff they told me that they could not find the person who took the watch but would refund me for my stay. Months have passed and they refuse to refund the stay or compensate me for the stolen property.

Based on the reviews I was expecting a lot better than what we experienced. The structure is pretty old. People that work on the property are very nice and try to be very helpful but the place lacks a lot to be considered a 5 star. Aside from the place being older and not maintained well, which is something you can put up with if the quality of the service is good, the worst part was the food very sub par. I think this was by far the worst all inclusive experience I had. We end up going out to dinner every night cause the restaurants in the property and the buffet weren't good. Also they are very pushy with selling activity and services but I noticed that as a theme in Sharm overall so expect to be bother on that.

My family of 4 stayed at Sunrise for 8 nights in December throught he New Year. The property is huge and beautiful! Staff work hard to keep guests entertaining with tons of activities aside from the pool and snorkeling.

The property is gorgeous. There are flowers everywhere and everything is pritone and clean. Its unbelievably that the hotel can service so many guests at this level.

When they say all inclusive they mean it. There is ample food and drink at every turn. Food at the main restaurant is yummy and plentiful and there are 4 a la carte restaurants that you can dine in (also inclusive).

Cons:

1) No beach. Photos are deceptive. There is no beach so you need to bring water shoes because the propertytakes you directly into coral. The red sea os crystal clear, you can see fish from the shore. Snorkels and equipment is not included so bring you own.

2) while there are a ton of dining options on the property its near impossible to get a reservation at the restaurants. We only got 1 reservation the entire time. I felt very disappointed-- we even tried calling the concierge but they didnt help. We were sick of the main buffet restaurant selection by the end of our stay and had to leave the property to get some variety.

3) Filty bathrooms. The family room is no frills. Theres no decore and rhe bathrooms have alot of mildew. The hotel is relatively new but somehow the bathrooms look dated and dirty.

Our stay at Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort in Sharm El Sheikh was nothing short of amazing!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality we experienced set the tone for our entire vacation.
The staff are all amazing and kind and a special shoutout to Mr. Karam and also to Mr. Tarek Wardy, the service manager, who went above and beyond to cater to all our needs.
Because of him, our families felt like real royalty!
The rooms were cozy and clean, the food was delicious, and the views? Breathtaking!

It was great!! The best and most efficient service in the 40 degrees heat was the bus service which takes you from one pint to another as the resort is massive! I would even give 10 stars if it would be possible. Resort is very clean and the stuff is amazing. We had a swim up room close to the beach very clean and well furnished. Bathrooms are equipped with everything you need also very clean. Our cleaning man was very detailed with his job, nothing was missing always full fridge with the drinks we preferred, clean towels. Toba was the person responsible with our pool needs. He was changing our pool towels all the time, open and move umbrellas the way we wanted. Very nice and hard working people, always with the smile on their faces, willing to pleasure you anytime. Our butler Nour!!! the best from the best, young person with so much potential and very professional. We also want to mention all the service at the beach, just great, the best cocktails maker was Abdaihalem, with his sense of humor the cocktails were even better. All of the others at the beach are great people and very professional, they also offer many activities and tours. We saw the dolphins at the palm of our hand. There are many restaurants to chose. We tried them all. All of them high quality service and delicious food. Buffet was also with the variety of all kind of food. By the lobby bar with the live music every night and our favorite waiter Ahmed. We didn't finish one drink and he was already asking if anything else we need. Next was our Mustang Limousine manager Mahmoud always helpful with our needs even last minute. SPA girls were amazing too !!!.

Everything was great. The restaurant’s staff were very friendly and helpful, specially Khalid and Romany. The housekeeper was also very nice and provided us with everything we needed. The only issue I had it was at the pool. The towel guy wasn’t friendly at all. He was super rude to my wife and my daughters. My wife told me when I came back I was very mad and I chewed his ass out. Other than that, it was pretty good!!!

Amazing resort, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. We had half board - Breakfast and dinner included and both buffets every day had high quality food and everything tasted fresh. Shisha lounge inside the property was solid, shoutout to Kareem for sorting us out every night. Only negative I can think of is that the gym was a little basic and didn’t have all the equipment you’d expect such as a bench press setup but it seems like it’s not used much by anyone so maybe that’s why they haven’t invested too much into that - otherwise excellent.

After checkout, the securety man accused us of stealing a towel, and demanded 300 pounds!! It was unfortunate and shameful, but we rejected it and proved it wrong

Great resort!

the resort is just exelent, the food is very good and the servise is good. the resort is bilt on a teras so there are many ups and downs to get to the beach or the reception, but there is a bus that can take you evrey few minutes.
in total the hotel was great and we will be back soon.

Hotel is nice, quiet and a lot of activities but it would have been much better if the swimming pool for the swim up rooms is heated. Otherwise no point in paying more for swim up rooms. Special thanks to staff at the beach bar, the deluxe swim up area pool staff, room service guy and the boat driver are the best. We stayed in room 4103.

The property is amazing whether you are staying as a couple or a family. Very nice dining options, excellent dive center and many pools to choose from. The staff was very friendly and especial shout to Patti at the Royal Club restaurant. She was amazing and went out of her away for everyone to make them comfortable. Kudos!

Staff was amazingly helpful. Everything you could want here, beautiful position on the ocean. Only downside is that it is an extremely large property and vertical so there are a lot of stairs and walking but they do provide shuttle buses.
Rooms are well appointed with everything you would want and extremely comfortable beds - completely quiet.
Would definitely stay here again!

November 2022 - SUNRISE Arabian Beach Resort

The hotel is very nice and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. We used the hotel transfer from and to the airport, which was little more expensive but comfortable.
The food is not excellent, but tasty and diverse.
A lot of stairs if you need to go from one part to another, but there is also a bus in the hotel.
We booked the all inclusive package, but the half board is good enough .

Great service, good coral reef that needs protecting that's about it. The hotel uses plastic straws and plastic spoons - its not environmentally friendly at all. They give new towels every day without even giving the option to customers to reuse their towels. There should be some rules about playing loud, obnoxious music at the beach - all the guests seem to have their own speakers and no regard for other guests who go to the beach to relax. There should be signs up telling guests to stay off the coral reef instead of the lifeguard having to blow his whistle and monitor the beach the entire day. The resort is good for kids but not for people who want a peaceful holiday.
