Excellent one-night stay
This was an excellent stay. The hotel contacted us in advance to offer early access to the room and to confirm our arrival time. The hotel manager, Wonderful, was a welcoming and helpful host. The room was super clean, spacious and very comfortable with a wonderful sea view. The hotel is within walking distance of a good restaurant and grocery and wine stores are near by. Could not have asked for more.

I had a great experience staying at Simon's Town Guest House. The building is only a few years old and everything is well maintained and clean. There is even a fully stocked mini bar at reasonable prices. The view from my room was breathtaking.
The manager Susie was very friendly and extremely helpful in providing advice on things to do and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast she made was superb!
The town closes up early so be aware of limited food options at night.

1-Night at Simon's Town Guest House
Simon's Town Guest House is a very nice privately owned bed & breakfast situated on a mountainside overlooking False Bay. We were there only 1 night, but had a wonderful stay. Since it was low season, they were nice enough to offer us to a room with a better view of the water. The best part part of the stay was the full, hot breakfast they served in the morning; anyone could have found something they liked from this spread. The only drawback was their distance from dining and shopping options. If we were stayIng for a longer period of time that may have gotten frustrating, but it was a perfect for a quiet night of rest and relaxation.

Simon's Town Guest House - A Gem
Simon's Town Guest House was a real treat. Situated well up on the side of the mountain, it afforded a magnificent view over False Bay. It was constructed and opened only within the past two years. Staff were very friendly and helpful, as was the owner. Our room was spotless and very modern. Highly recommended!

Solid if a bit expensive
The rooms and facilities were very nice and clean. Overall this hotel is very solid but did not really impress especially when compared to others we stayed in on our trip. We stayed in a few places that charged considerably less and were also run with more concern for the customers (i.e. more choice at breakfast etc.) with the same level of quality. Also watch out for the driveway... it is very steep and slightly low cars will drag on the pavement

Une maison moderne, face a la mer, un style dépouillé et un très bon lit. Mais c'est une maison sans âme et trop loin de Cape Town pour en faire une base pour découvrir la région. La voiture est nécessaire pour aller ou que ce soit et le choix de restaurants dans les environs est limité. Nous n'y avons passe qu'une nuit, sans regret.

The location is little more than 3km from Simonstown center so you need a car/taxi to get there.
There is only one resturant in walking distance, Dixies, but it is a really nice one.
Doesn't look much but has fantastic food and friendly attentive staff.

Une Guest House où je reviendrai avec grand plaisir. J'ai d'ailleurs prolongé mon séjour. Des chambres propres, aménagées avec goût et modernité, spacieuses, comfortables, lumineuses et avec une superbe vue sur la baie. Un personnel très sympa, serviable et accueillant. Un petit déjeuner continental généreux et bon pour bien démarrer la journée. Sur les petits points négatifs, parce qu'il en faut, l'insonorisation de certaines pièces pourrait être améliorée, et la belle vue se paye par une rue d'accès très en pente. Si votre voiture est basse, attention à prendre la montée doucement et un peu en biais, et tout passe sans accroc.
