We always stay here during our drive from St. Louis to the Syracuse area. We are so happy that we found you! Everyone is always so very welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are so clean, cozy, spacious and reasonable. We always rest very well, prior to getting up early the next day and resuming the rest of our drive. We adore Noosa Bistro across the street! We often get up before the breakfast area opens; however, the workers there are always so very kind and gracious. They offer us coffee, of course, and then ask if we wish to take anything with us to eat as we prepare to hit the road. Thank you for always going the extra mile. We highly recommend and will certainly be back!

The room was significantly degraded from past visits. The toilet ran every five minutes and when brought to the attention of the staff, it wasn't corrected. The cabinets were well worn and in need of repair. During the every other day room cleanings, the dishes weren't cleaned, the wastbasket wasn't emptied and the coffee wasn't refilled.

The room was dated and dingy for the price. The non-refundable pet fee for our cat was $115 for just a one-night stay, which felt excessive. On top of that, the front desk staff wasn't very friendly. Overall, not worth the cost.

I travelled from Maryland to this Residence Inn location for a Morgan Wallen concert in Cleveland at the Huntington Bank Field. The field was only 30 mins from this location and super easy to get too. There is a good pick of fast food options right by this Hotel. The staff were impeccable! Extremely friendly! The hotel itself was super clean and the Breakfast was delicious.

They are pet friendly, have a hot tub and pool as well!! Can’t beat how convenient all that is!


If I could give more than 5 Stars I would!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here !!

The room was spacious, but there was a broken lamp and the cupboard under the sink was broken.
Also there was a coffee machine and supplies. But no coffee pot.

Great hotel!!

Great place to stay, close enough to Cleveland, 15 minute drive to downtown. Great place, hotel lost power during the night. Made it impossible to sleep due to using a CPAP. Even with the power outage I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Our Residence Inn Mentor stay was very comfortable. It's location is convenient for visiting Cleveland's University Circle and Kirtland's Holden Arboretum. Staff was wonderful! AND the inn allows pets which is a big help to our family.

Overall, I’d say it’s just an average hotel if not below average. Initially walking in the person at the front counter was definitely not welcoming. She seemed unhappy and like she didn’t want to be there so not a great first impressIon. She was like that every time we saw her. Room smelled very musty when we first walked in it. The more we were in it, the more we realized it smelled like dog pee by the couch. One big reason I booked here was for the hot tub. It ended up being completely drained. When we ask, the not very friendly lady said it was closed for the season. They really need to advertise this on their website. I told her that’s one of the main reasons I chose that hotel. She showed/gave no empathy or apology whatsoever. Breakfast in the mornings was definitely not great which again was another reason I stayed here. Food was very bland and some of it wasn’t cooked completely. Coffee was cold the first morning. On a positive note, shower had good water pressure and the soap in the shower I really liked. Bed was comfortable so those are the couple things that were good. Honestly, I wish I would have stayed somewhere else. I mentioned all of this to the hotel when checking out and they did nothing to try to make anything better. For that reason, I will never stay there again. Don’t recommend unless you don’t care about paying a high premium price for very little in return. So disappointed because this was a weekend away for my husband and I.

The sofa bed for this property is very uncomfortable. The mattress is so thin that it feels like you just have a sheet over the springs. Overall the couch didn’t look cared for. There were stains on the cushions.

This particular location was less expensive than other Residence Inn by Marriot. This location is in a safe area and is close to shopping and restaurant's. The staff was excellent and the grounds were clean. A couple areas of improvement would be the following. The weight room is severely outdated and lacks a lot of equipment. Some of the rooms are located only yards away from the highway making it noisy and difficult to sleep. I would reserve a room at this location in the future albeit I would request a room not facing the highway. All in all a good experience.

The property and facilities are nice and clean . The parking lot is not driver friendly . Too tight especially for SUV’s . The staff were all great except the women who checked us in . She was rude and not very welcoming at all . I almost cancelled at the check in desk and would have had we not been so tired . When I booked the room I chose a suite room that slept 6 people. The room was not set up to sleep 6 But the staff did accommodate and delivered 2 Roll away beds . I did end up sleeping on coach cushions on the floor but at least my guests were taken care of . Overall I would recommend this hotel and hope you either get rid of the rude host or remove her from dealing with the public . A host should be warm and welcoming .

The tall young man who greeted us with a smile when we arrived and same as we checked out deserves 5 stars. Same for the two women who were there on Sunday morning they also deserve 5 stars. The lady who prepared and helped w/breakfast was equally a wonderful hostess and represented for Marriott. Kudos to these 4 staff. The 3-Star rating comes bc I would rate the lady who was your fro t desk on Saturday afternoon a negative number. She never smiled nor made anyone feel welcome. We are Marriott members and grandparents to a 6 year old hockey player. We were traveling w/our daughter & son-in-law and their hockey team. This group of parents were all nice. Your staff member treated us all as if we had invaded her personal space and she just wanted us to leave. She never offered any kindness. We had pizza in the gathering area and the parents threw all trash away, wiped tables and even swept the floors. As we were leaving to go to another hockey game, this staff person was at the bar height table wiping it and gave us a mean glaring look. She may need to find a different job bc “hospitality” is not one of her strengths. Please cheer on the others who represented Marriott and your reputation SO very well

Maybe better in the summer?

I mean, one of the reasons we booked a more expensive room here than a cheaper room nearby was because Hotels.com said it had a pool. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived and saw that they were both outdoors and covered for the winter. It would be nice for the properties to indicate that information so we can make a more informed choice.

The room itself was large and comfortable, with a fantastic bed. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was dismal, every time someone walked by we could hear their conversation.

The property is in a shopping complex so i could take a safe walk in the evenng. It is driving distance to Headlands Beach, which is an amazing walkable beach area. The room itself was clean and quiet. The bed was amazing. The free breakfast was plentiful and had vegetarian options.

This place is not at all worth the money. The vents in the room were gross. The wallpaper is peeling. There were m&ms under the bed and popcorn in the couch. The chairs were peeling and felt grimy. Breakfast is bread, cold cereal, fruit, or boiled eggs that are already peeled and left sitting out. The one redeeming quality was the staff who were very friendly.

Nice hotel but dont expect any hospitality!

Great hotel but the front desk needs some training in hospitality. Lady was rude and very short when talking when we checked in. Then when i asked for a late checkout due to weather and us getting delayed, the lady refused, lied to me about being soldout for a Sunday night, and while i was still being nice and civil and thanking her for trying, she just hung up the phone! Then I looked to book online since she said they were soldout and guess what, every type of room was available to book for that night at almost half what i paid! 🤔 Then we had the maid hanging around the hallway waiting for us to leave the room. So had to drive and sit in a parking lot in the storm with kids all because they couldnt give me an extra hour to checkout. Also they make nothing for the complementary breakfast on weekends. Only had biscuits & gravy then cereal and fruit. Only way to get the complementary hot breakfast is to stay Mon-Fri, which is insane since majority of hotels are used for weekends. Gotta save $$$ where you can i guess. For $232 a night, u would think we would get some eggs & bacon! Nice hotel but horrible staff and service so you can decide what to do, but i won't ever stay there again. We usually go multiple times a year in that area so disappointed that a nice hotel would be ran like that. From the front desk, to the kitchen staff and to the maid, all had the same bad attitude so thinking the district manager may want to look into why that is.
