Got a non clean room at first, went back and got it switched. Second room had food in drawers, dirty pillows, basically two out of two rooms weren't clean. I stayed here before and it was decent, but this experience this time was definitely one star due to that.

We asked for one thing. A room on the first floor. My wife has a bad knee. She needs a full knee replacement and we’re waiting for the surgery. On arrival the manager Bob said they had no 1st floor rooms available. Bob complained that people using Hotels.com are getting a discount but he’s not making as much money. He doesn’t want people using it. So the room we were given was upstairs ( no elevator) and as far from the stairs as possible. The room had an overwhelming smell of an Airwick freshener that gave me a headache. So strong you could taste it.

There was a lot of work put into making it a very lovely and hospitable room, with very lovely flooring, furniture and textiles. It was also very affordable on a Friday night, which I am extremely grateful for. It was also very quiet. The staff (owners, I think) were very friendly.
It would be a solid 10/10 except for the shower head was frozen on a setting like a power-washer, and the shower curtain plastic was partially melted. Between the two, I had to mop the bathroom when I was done and was rather grumpy. I highly recommend replacing the shower head and curtain.

Check-in was extremely quick. The room was large and comfortable and well kept. I had a good night’s stay. My only complaint is that I found long black hairs on the bathroom vanity and bathroom floor which means they weren’t cleaned very well. Would have been five Star if not for that.

Overall, the atmosphere was uncomfortable with people hanging around outside. I’m not sure who is writing the positive reviews, but I would not recommend staying here.

Unable to use and no refund
Was not able to use the reservation and was refused a refund. I was tired from driving all day from Marysville, about an hour north of Seattle, and decided to stop earlier in Roseburg to avoid having an accident

The temperature was close to 100 degrees. I told the desk clerk that the ice machine wasn't working. He said it was likely because someone used too much and to try again later. When he accurately read my dissatisfaction at that response, he offered chunk of ice from the kitchen. One large chunk - maybe 2 cups? - that wouldn't fit into a water bottle. When i tried again later, it was very frustrating to have the young woman at the desk just shrug when i told her that the ice machine still wasn't working. She said it would probably take a week to get it repaired. Not great customer service.
Also, we needed to get on the road early and at 6:30am, the front desk was locked up so we couldn't return the keys - or get any of the 'promoted' breakfast. Will not recommend this to others.

It was quiet. They had a air freshener in there and the bed and smelled like it. It was way too powerful. Seemed kind of cheap. They had ashtrays on the air conditioners outside the rooms. They weren’t actually ashtrays. They were actually bowls and what not.

I called ahead and asked for a downstairs room because I was having surgery at the local hospital. The woman that answered the phone said no problem and even asked if I needed a handicap bathroom. The gentleman that was at the desk when we got there said we had an upstairs room and he wouldn't change it. So I had surgery and then had to climb the stairs. The outlets in the room did not work. The bathroom was so small you can't even turn around. It probably would have been all right if I only had to spend one night there. But since I had to spend two nights there it was uncomfortable.

First thing you need to know is that it is right beside I-5. You can watch the trucks roll by from your room. That said, it was clean and comfortable, and well priced. I slept fine without earplugs. Hubby chose to wear his earplugs.

Check in was friendly, quick, and easy. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The small refrigerator had an excellent large freezer on top, which was particularly nice. Everything in the room was functional, and the air conditioning was easy to use and just right. Bathroom amenities were good and coffee was available in the unit. I will definitely stay here again on any future trips. Highly recommended. They had a complementary breakfast and the price was very reasonable.

We had a reservation for a king, non-smoking room. When we arrived we were told we were getting a room with two beds. When I explained that we reserved a single king, we were told that they were sold out, that the double queen was a nice room, on the ground floor, and he \"would give us a discount next time\". Resigned to our fate we drug our belongings to the room, opened the door, and saw two unmade queen size beds. I went back to the office and explained that the room had not been cleaned yet. After consulting with another person we were told it would be a 10 minute wait while the room was cleaned. We returned to the car to wait and someone else came out and gave us keys to a different, double queen room. The room was nice and very clean. The faucet for the sink did not have a way to adjust the temperature, and the water in the shower never got warm enough to be comfortable. Their ice machine was broken. Nice area, easy access to the freeway.
