We had to get 3 different keys in order for our door to work. After that, the A/C unit the room was extremely loud and we had to transfer to another room. No weights in the gym and only one treadmill worked. Dust on all the vents and furniture in the room.

None of the fitness center equipment was functional. The hot tub (spa) was broken, empty, and had yellow cones around it. The pool appeared dirty. The hotel was so run down we elected not to take a chance on the bar or restaurant. Carpets were so work they were frayed in some areas. Definitely will never return.

Checked in. Entered room & it smelled of stale sweat. Went to front desk & gentlemen told me he could upgrade me to a junior suite but it would cost $50 more for upgrade.Tv remote in room did not work. Buttons on tv would not work for power on/off. Specifically search hotel with hot tub on line. Front desk stated theirs has been out of service for some time. Breakfast was served cold. Coffee lukewarm. Not the best stay i have had. We made the best of the situation but for almost $200 a night, more than a little disappointing.

And when i arrived it was nothing like the pictures and this is my first anniversary of marriage so this was a special occasion. I will probably never use this site again.

The staff is very friendly. There is a restaurant and bar open for breakfast and dinner. Over all the hotel is pretty nice. I did not give a five-star rating only because there are a few minor things that could be improved such as the carpet could use a little care. The hot tub was closed and the pool appears to be dirty but that is only because the bottom of the pool needs to be resurfaced. All in all pretty good place. Housekeeping could step it up a little. The end tables were a little sticky when we got there.

Room clean. Cleaning crew shouldn’t open doors when guest having plenty of time to check out. Disappointed about jacuzzi not operational. That’s false advertisement showing pictures of jacuzzi working. On top of that tv had no cable options watching movies. Instead we stay occupied looking at our phones instead being in jacuzzi watching movies and not feeling rushed to get out of the room from the cleaning lady. Work on that maybe hotel would get good business. Now I know why parking lot been empty the whole time I was there.

Room was outdated, had to requested house keeping to come for trash and replinish towels and trash bags, stains on wall, stains on carpet and drapes. Musty smell in elevator. Desk clerks were nice and helpfull. Housekeeping knocked on door at about 11 oclock and asked if we were checking out. Check out isnt until 12. They knocked at that time but not once to ask if we needed anything the whole 5 nights that we were there. Also called front desk several times Friday night and Saturday night no answer. Had to go downstairs to voice my needs. Will not stay again. Flight was canceled went to Holiday Inn down the street that last night. Very nice Hotel! Stay there instead.

When I checked in at the front desk, I was informed that my $100. room rate didn't cover continental breakfast. Continental breakfast was not available to any guest.
My room was 85 degrees, very warm. Very comfortable bed and clean room. On a scale of 1-10 for this hotel, I'll give it a 9.

Property is not what it advertises online was to have a separate sitting area in our room did not was supposed to have a whirlpool bathtub did not let all of that go went to breakfast. The first day was amazing. The second day the server was so rude you would’ve thought that I pissed in his Wheaties And then the last day the waitress forgot half my breakfast. The customer service was top notch. I would stay here again based on that alone. They really were spectacular. The hotel itself needs a little help. Plenty of parking. Parking lot well lit. Only one elevator. Pool looked clean but we didn’t use. Hot tub is not working. Room was ok for the price. Bathroom vent looked like it had never been dusted. But other than that, the room was clean. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Our heat wouldn’t go above 65. It was -2 outside and we came during a winter storm but the area around the wall unit was very drafty. We are hot natured so 65 was ok for us but I know someone else would not be comfortable. I reported this upon checkout. TV is small and the do not offer streaming options. Basic cable only. Had to get ice at front desk. None of the ice machines work. Hotel needs a little TLC.

The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was fantastic. Great location great price. Unfortunately, the room was not very clean. The vents for the heating unit were very dusty, the chair was filthy (I cleaned it myself because it was so coded and dust) and the room needed to be vacuumed better.

The staff was courteous but the room was just ok. Thankfully it was only for 1 night. The room had a musty odor and while showering the tub never drained.I had to spray my perfume to camouflage the musty smell and my husband could not shower after me because the water from my shower accumulated in the tub and by morning was still there. We did complain to the front desk about the inconvenience but they didnt help at all. I won't stay there again.

I had a family member who had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic (Dec 2025) so I tried out a few hotels in the area. I had a stay over at Hyatt Place the nite before trying the Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland, OMG huge difference the Hyatt Place was absolutely beautiful and modern whereas the Hilton Garden was OLD and really NOT that clean. Unless you can get a really, really good deal I’d personally NOT want to to go back this particular Hilton Garden inn East Cleveland/Mayfield village.

When we walked through the door, we could tell the air was not on. We reported it to the front desk. They had somebody come and look at it in a reasonable time. The thermostat was on the wall so he made it where we can control it from the unit on the floor, but that still didn’t work. It came on when it wanted to. Also, in my opinion, they have very small TVs. FYI, I was told you cannot hook your streaming device up to the TVs.

Very clean, quiet room. I love the bath amenities, especially the shower gel. Convenient to have the refrigerator and Keurig in the room. I was travelling with my dogs and I was worried they would bark at noises (we were close to the stairs), but it was so quiet they hardly noticed anything. Overall a great stay (other than our keys randomly not working, and some glitch between Expedia and Hilton that labeled us as a no-show, despite checking in at 9pm on the expected date)

The fan was so very loud all night that I barely slept. Then I only got lukewarm showers both days. The parking lot was an ice rink...not one salt truck to be seen. It would have been helpful if the rooms were updated to have a USB outlet somewhere other than the TV so it took all night for my phone to charge but the TV had to be on too. Would have been nice if they had room service...nothing was opened around 9:30 pm when I arrived. Would not recommend or stay here again.

When we checking in the front desk clerk was very rude - never welcomed us - couldn’t have cared less about there not being a luggage cart for us - it never dawned on him to communicate with the staff & see if one was available
However the lady that had the next shift was very nice - we actually heard her checking with the staff to find a cart for a guest - imagine that !

I stayed here for three nights, the woman who checked me in was so friendly! my room was clean and quiet with a beautiful view of sunset, I had a few difficulties with my TV and the staff was so helpful even though they couldn’t figure out how to fix it, also since the jacuzzi and business center were not available and there was no breakfast one morning due to the chef not being able to come in, I was compensated immediately with out asking they were so nice and apologetic

The manager Mo was so accommodating he himself got me a bagel and a bowl of fruit since there was no chef. He has also really chosen the best staff!

Staff were great! Room was clean. Previous guest broke the toilet handle but I reported it when we arrived. Our room was in a quiet area in the 4th floor. We were very pleased. The only negative was there were no luggage carts anywhere. We had lots of Christmas gifts for our grandkids, so we made several trips up to the room. The receptionist said guests take the carts to their rooms and keep them until checkout. I would suggest taking a driver’s license as a hold until cart is returned to prevent this ridiculous practice in the future.

The hotel looked nice online, but the stay was very disappointing. We booked for a week to be close to family and it was the Hilton, but the property fell far below expectations. The jacuzzi was permanently closed, and none of the ice machines worked.
The room felt like a rundown motel — dust behind furniture, rust on fixtures, stains on walls and carpet, peeling paint, and a cracked tub. Basic amenities were lacking; when we asked for cutlery, we were given a single plastic set because they were “out.”
The restaurant was poorly staffed and constantly out of items. Breakfast juice was often unavailable, and service was mediocre at best. Housekeeping only came once during our 7-day stay, after repeated requests, and even then the room wasn’t properly cleaned.
For the price, this felt like a two-star motel at best. Definitely not worth what we paid.

I stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn for 3 nights, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.

From the start, the front desk staff were very rude and unhelpful. During my stay, the toilet overflowed, causing water to cover the bathroom floor. When I called the front desk for assistance, the front desk guy only brought towels and a plunger. No effort was made to properly clean or fix the issue, and I was forced to leave standing water on the floor overnight until 11:00 a.m. the next day, which was unacceptable.

The bathroom was not clean upon arrival, which made the situation even worse. The walls are extremely thin—the guest above me was stomping and making noise all night, every night of my stay. In addition, guests across the hall were repeatedly loud in the hallway, sounding like they were having a party, with no apparent staff intervention.

The food was nasty, and the waiter was rude. After eating at the hotel, I experienced constipation, which added to the discomfort of my stay. I also reacted to the pillowcase, which caused my left cheek to break out, raising concerns about cleanliness and laundry practices.

Overall, this stay did not meet the standards I expect from a Hilton property. Between the rude staff, cleanliness issues, noise disturbances, and poor food quality, I would not recommend this location.
