Very clean room and quality bedding. I loved having a tub. I also enjoyed being able to crack open the windows (they do not open all the way). The service was great for hotel. The restaurant was nice although a bit slow on service. I stayed in a suite and it was up to expectations and as described.

I have stayed at The Intercontinental several times, durimg my visits to the Cleveland Clinic.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Linens are very soft. The staff, all the way from desk assistance to restaurant staff were always so helpful. Much needed when navigating the clinic.

Bed was comfortable, customer service was outstanding honestly and I needed a couple of things so they were so kind and nice, the flatbread was really good and honestly it was so close to my medical appointments at the Cleveland Clinic that it was a great experience! Close to the airport as well - it barely took the Uber 19 minutes to get there!

The dining area is so slow could not stay and eat due to medical appointments. Water in the room was cold, and it took 10 minutes to heat. Room tables are very dirty. Was not a relaxing stay, pillows are do puffy but when you lay your head on them the flatten to nothing. When we pulled up to valet, the girl said welcome to Holiday Inn, I was confused because I was not at Holiday Inn.

The suite and bathroom were spacious an clean. The bathroom countertop was unusually high, and the HVAC blew air directly at the head end of the bed, and seemed to warm the suite very slowly. Plan ahead if you don't want to pay $25/night + tips (2025) for parking.

A suite with out basic amenities.

Since it’s a SUITE hotel I had high expectations. When we got to the suite the freezer door of fridge was open and would shut as there was too much frost and it had started to defrost all over the floor. We called. They brought a replacement. It did t really work either.
We had a very nice dinner off property and wanted to eat them in the morning. Despite the suite having a cooktop, a microwave and a washer dryer it was only stocked with 2 glasses, 2 coffe cups & then 2 more glasses in bathroom. Are you supposed to bring your own table
Service and cookware? Not even a plastic fork to be found. So we were forced to order room service. It was delivered efficiently the lady that delivered said “yeah it dumb they don’t have silverware or anything in these rooms”. I agree

Great property, very clean, safe. Front desk was nice, Valet was great/ $25 a night, The suite was amazing; 2 double beds in one room, living room/kitchen in the other room, tub and toilet in a separate from sink which makes it easy for everyone to get ready. We went to a concert at the Huntington Bank Field and booked here because the bus is pretty much a straight path there. However, be careful because the bus ride is much longer than we thought, it makes about 15 stops and we waited a while for it to even come. It’s only $5 for the day but we did Uber at one point because we didn’t want to be late. If you aren’t on a time crunch then this hotel is great for fairly close proximity to downtown.

Hotel restaurant was excellent and room was cleanand quiet .The air purifier was a nice touch. The parking was too expensive and parking garage was never located.The beds were wey comfortable and roo. Air conditioning was very good. The staff was exceptional and early morning clerk at fro t desk helped with details about closed highway ramp detour i formation. The valets were great as well as the waiters and waitresses at the restaurant.

Hotel was conveniently located within the medical district. We stayed on a weekend and it was pretty quiet. Self-parked using the hospital garage two blocks down--felt safe walking through the neighborhood. We were slightly disappointed in the room: it had an interesting smell and lots of staining. Food options were accessible via a short drive.

Literally the worst hotel I've stayed in since 2000, when I stayed in a horrible HoJo's in Oakland, CA. The AC unit either ran 100% of the time or 0%. No working thermostat.

Bathroom was filthy. Pillows smelled like mold. Mold and dirt everywhere. So gross. Parking was lousy, they didn't help with luggage, I cannot believe this is an Intercontinental, and the picture is misleading. VERY misleading.

My stay at this hotel was average. The room was sufficient but felt somewhat dated. Unfortunately, I experienced two incorrect charges to my credit card, which added some inconvenience to the trip. The location is very convenient if you’re visiting the nearby clinic, but might not be ideal for other types of travel.

Not so good: Old rooms. Carpet is old and sorta gross. Continental breakfast is overpriced $16.99 / 2025 for what you get. Oatmeal, breads, fruit. Any proteins are extra cost. Eg. Eggs, sausage, bacon

Confusing: there are 2 Intercontinental hotels near each other. I thought I was booking for the other. Intercontinetal Suites is for ppl going Cleveland Clinic primarily vs. For vacation.

First night was problematic. Toilet making sounds of running water; evaluated by maintenance and said it was fixed; however, continued to have problems. Awakened by pick up of dumpster at 4:00 am, neighbors doors slamming, very little rest that night.

Second night awakened by loud music on the outdoor patio right below our room.
Asked to be moved room was much improved; however, loud street noise and across the street from Police Department.

Found out that Clinic rate was less expensive than Expedia rate. First and likely last time using Expedia.

For anyone spending time at Cleveland Clinic — this is the place to stay. IHG Intercontinental Suites cares deeply about their guests. They listen. They support. They assist. They give empathy and compassion when you need it, after long days of appointments. Nina, Jennifer, V, Guylan, Chris, and the two additional desk attendants provided superior care. All of housekeeping was exceptional. Every inch of the facility is spotless. The rooms are perfectly appointed. The beds the best of comfort. The food and drinks in the restaurant wonderful. First night, one of us had to step in the shower and found out no hot water. 50 degree weather, cold water shower is not a good idea. We went down to the front desk, the response we got was that they knew and emergency maintenance was called. It took them almost a whole day to fix the hot water. It was not a pleasant experience.

I just feel the cost was way to high I wanted the accessibility to the clinic so I paid it, I paid 370.00 to sleep 12 hours in a room. Because of procedure I could not eat anything, just drink. Then with all the tipping and no free breakfast my bill went over 400,00 because I paid for my
fried who was the driver.. Too much for too short a time. The facility is very nice.

Very nice bathroom amenities. However many rooms are not suites. The building is very old and they control the temps in your room. They either turn the AC or Heat on. Our room was warm. We turned it to 65 degrees to cool and it never cracked 77. In fact it kept getting warmer. They brought us a fan because even opening the window somehow didn’t work and the fan was super loud and blew warm air. The food was decent. Beds were comfortable. However this is not really on the level of an intercontinental hotel. It’s just old and sad. They refunded me the last night and we were walked to the Holiday inn next door which was far superior. They are going to renovate at some point and boy it needs it. Even the menu for room service was quite basic. But what we got was yummy

The room was incrediby warm. There was not a way to completely turn off the heat, nor could you turn on the air conditioning. The suggestion was to open my window. They were nice enough to send up a box fan. When I checked out, and I complained, I was told that is just how it goes with their HVAC system.

The clerk who checked me in tried to charge me again after I had prepaid on Expedia because he couldn't find my reservation and I think they actually charged me more than what was the Expedia price. It was late and I was exhausted from a long day in the Cleveland clinic emergency room. He didn't ask for my confirmation number. and redid my bill and while I can't be sure he charged me more. He also asked for my credit card \"for incidentals\" but he should have already had my card number because I prepaid for the room. When I went to check out, the clerk at the desk now didn't even bother to look up from the computer to acknowledge me Even when I asked a question about the shuttle to the hospital , he didn't even look up.
