Booked a room with multiple beds. Within the pic of this room there were two beds. Checked in which took a long time and the staff seemed like there was an issue, so I asked and she said there wasn't. Got to my room and it smelled like smoke and only had one bed and a pull out couch which I didn't reserve. When back to the lobby because the phone didn't work and had to wait long because one of their evelvators was OOO. Staff said to call my 3rd party about the room. I asked if there was one with two beds and she said no. I said what is calling hotels.com going to do if you don't have a room with two beds.. no response. We stayed there as it was getting late and I wanted to eat.

Good price and location but poor hotel.

The room smelt and had dirt on the floor. The hall was covered in garbage and dust and the elevator got dirtier as the weekend went on. The staff were never at the front desk and if they were in the lobby they were on their phone sitting in a chair.
The breakfast consisted of package muffins that were moist and kids yogurts. And crappy coffee.
Would not stay at this hotel chain.

The price was cheaper but you get what you pay for. The hotel is older and needs some updating. The room was a decent size however smelled like cats upon entering and the beds were small (double) and not very comfortable. The pillows were small and you might as well have been just laying your head on the bed. The floors were so dirty and looked like they haven’t been cleaned in years. My kids socks were black after walking on the floor. The staff at check in was amazing and very helpful. The staff the following day looked like she’d rather be anywhere else instead of helping you. The grab and go breakfast consisted of fig neuton bars, crunchy granola bars and packaged muffins. The coffee and hot chocolate were decent. It was in a nice quiet area and close to many amenities.

The bathrooms were laid out poorly and the walls were thin… you could hear everything going on down the main hallway. Rooms felt dirty and every time we used the elevators there was trash left in them. It was a place for us to spend the night, but it wasn’t our favorite experience. Parking was easy and convenient and they were pet friendly.

Breakfast is a complete bomb. Small packaged muffins and sugar filled yogurt does not constitute a healthy breakfast and start to one’s day.
Rooms haven’t been renovated in ages.
People in hallways making loud noises in the middle of the night were disruptive to sleep.
Flashing security lights inside the room were disruptive as well.

Front desk personnel was excellent to check in with.

I was disappointed with the “breakfast included” advertisement. What was offered was not what most travelers would consider a breakfast. The only available items were coffee, milk, orange, and yogurt to grab and go. There were no pastries, bread, fruit selection, cereals, or other breakfast options. I think the hotel should describe this more accurately so guests know what to expect before booking. If you’re choosing this hotel because of the included breakfast, be aware that it is more of a very limited grab-and-go snack than a real breakfast.

El desayuno pobre, pobre, pobre, escasísimo, en ocasiones aún en el horario establecido solo había café, tenían dos botellas de cremora líquida mezclada con agua una de ellas con vainilla y azúcar y la otra original que no debía tener azúcar, pero la tenía, ambas eran iguales con azúcar. Avena en bolsitas para microondas sin envase para prepararla. Estuve 8 noches hubo avena en 2 ocasiones, hubo huevo hervido en 2 ocasiones metidos dentro de una bolsita plástica, aspecto desagradable. En la habitación ningún tipo de artículo para cocinar con una estufa eléctrica de inducción sin ninguna cacerola de inducción. Una lavandería común carisima sin detergentes para lavar. En el baño 1 mini jabón para la ducha y otro mini jabón para el lavabo. La compra del servicio fue para 2 huéspedes.

The room was very spacious and the staff we spoke with were all great. We loved that our room had a kitchenette and full-size fridge. Kitchenette was a little useless though, all dishes, pots/pans, etc were supposedly down at reception so we didn't bother. The property looks nice on the surface but had a lot going on while we were there. One elevator was out of service, the other was iffy at best. Our room only had one washcloth, which was weird but not a huge thing. The breakfast, which we found out would have been grab-n-go (which is fine, whatever), was only coffee while we were there. The staff was apologetic and stated their delivery was like a week behind or something? I don't know, but we were hoping for ANY kind of food to grab for the road. Overall, some really nice amenities that were unfortunately overshadowed by a lot of shortcomings.

When the property lists that breakfast is included, most travelers plan on having something in the morning to start the day so you don’t have to stop again for breakfast.
This property had nothing except a 4oz serving of yogurt, and would recommend not drinking the coffee ..

We walked into our room and it reeked of cigarettes. It seems like either the person before us or someone around us was smoking at some point. Either way, the room was fine. The room was as a nice size and the cleanliness seemed okay. I wish there would’ve been an extra blanket but we made due and never asked the front desk.

The next day we went to breakfast and it was a huge disappointment. They basically only had yoghurt and oatmeal. I’m used to hotels having some variety but this place did not have that. I will say they did advertise a “grab and go” breakfast so I should’ve known.

Check out was easy and then we left. About an hour later we get a call saying that our room reeked of smoke and that they would be charging us for it. We explained it smelled like smoke the night before and they waived the fee which I appreciated. They said for future reference, please share this information with the front desk immediately which we will do from now on

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in - I've stayed in better motels! First, the room was supposed to have two queen beds but had two full beds. The sofa bed was as saggy as a hammock. Half the lights in the room didn't work, or had to be physically unplugged to turn off. The kitchenette had nothing - no pots, pans, dishes, coffee machine or dish soap. OK, we thought they would give that stuff on request. But the staff was really rude and did not give anything. After repeated asking, we got only decaf pods, and a couple of extra sheets. The \"Continental breakfast\" next morning was a joke - only some packed boiled eggs (they ran out before we could get them), cereal bars and some packed oats (no milk). No bread, no muffin, no bananas. The staff was hard to find. This hotel was not worth the price, even if it was cheap.

The staff were great and the price was fantastic! Breakfast was grab and go, and there was nothing much worth grabbing. Our room smelled terrible, like body odor, the floors were so sticky, and we found a large empty liquor bottle that housekeeping missed. In spite of the cleanliness, we do appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

The property itself is just ok. Nothing flashy. The breakfast is grab and go items like yogurt and granola bars. Check in and check out took way too long. There was no staff at the desk so we had to wait more than an acceptable amount of time to be helped.

While the facility is supposed to be nonsmoking the place smelled like weed at all times.

The room across from us had a dog that loved to bark.

Worst hotel experience. My deluxe 2 bed hotel room got downgraded to a single bed room two days prior to my arrival without any email, text, or notification telling me this. Apparently Expedia changed the room and since they're a \"third party\" the hotel couldn't do anything or give me any money back. They told me they would bring bedding up for the pull out couch I was not excited to use, but they did not. I tried using the vending machines and they didnt work, and the hotel had no change for a 20. Again, the vending machines were from a \"third party\" so they couldn't do anything and I was expected to just allow my cars to \"process\" for who knows how long. There were stains on the comforter, the room smelled like cat urine.

I asked for a room away from the elevators, got a room attached to the elevators (and all I heard was elevators all night). Unless you call a chemical filled muffin in a bag and a granola bar breakfast, don't get fooled by the \"breakfast included\" statement. No real food, no fruit, no cream for coffee or milk for tea. There was nothing in the kitchen but a fridge and microwave and they wouldn't even give me a coffee maker.

The property was convenient to our college visit tour and had a lot of restaurants near by. The hotel breakfast is misleading as it is bare minimum. The bagged eggs disappears in a few minutes as well as the muffins. But atleast coffee was surprisingly ok. That’s about it for breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious, staff was ok depending on who is it on the day. I came down to ask for shampoo and they didn’t have it. But again, the price was cheap compared to others around the area and generally it’s not much to complain about. Overall ok.

I booked a room with two beds, but was given a room with one bed and a pullout couch instead. When I asked about it, I was told that because I booked through Expedia, my room type wasn’t guaranteed. They also mentioned that their system and Expedia’s system don’t update properly. Overall, it was frustrating not getting the room I specifically booked.

My son woke up with ants in his bed. The sink would back up when the water was turned on there was no breakfast set up when we arrived the was a water puddle in front of the entrance making it hard for our suitcases the building smelled like marijauna

While checking out, I returned my remote control from the front desk I had to borrow because there was not one in the room. Told the front desk we had to shower without a shower curtian since the room did not have one and he did not flinch or make a comment. I told him it was time for us to leave anyways and he just started walking away. I asked him if he needed anything else from me and he just said no. That was the most he said. I asked where breakfast was and he pointed to a coffee machine that had a big spill, 4 granola bars that were the same flavor and one flavor of yogurt. I told him the guy last night mentioned bread foods and he just said the truck hasnt showed up. Obviously we had to go out to eat which made us a little late for our medical appointment. The next week i noticed we did not get our incidental back and had to call another location to get through where she had to have it refunded to me since they forgot to return it. First time I have ever had this problem. I do not llan to go back to an Extended Stay Ever.

The first impression was everything to me , the lobby was so clean, neat and well put and not only was it well put IT SMELLED SUPER CLEAN..like how your house would smell on deep cleaning Sunday ! I probably won’t start here again. There were ants everywhere in the room and no breakfast for breakfast that was supposed to be included. There was little to no information when checking in. He was more worried about the $100 fee that was NOT told about upon booking the room. They only had a sign at CHECKOUT that there would be a $100 fee to be reimbursed. All weekend the heating/AC unit emitted a loud, metal-grinding noise. It started Friday night, a couple of hours after our check in and continued intermittently throughout the night. It stopped sometime in the early morning only to start up again around 9am.

I called the front desk and the person who answered (Black male) literally said that he would see if Maintenance could look at it before they left for the day. No one came. We did not get any rest the whole weekend because of that blasted noise! We could have slept in my vehicle & got better sleep.

On Sunday during my checkout, I told the person on duty what occurred. She commiserated; saw who was on duty & stated that it sounds like the unit is going out {DUHHHH!}, while I still had to pay full price for 2 restless nights.

I am not happy and would rather not return but for some reason my partner likes going there. I hope this next stay is way better than the last one or I won’t go back & he’ll deal with it.

Premier Suites Independence, located at 6025 Jefferson Dr., Independence, Ohio was TERRIBLE. The conditions of this hotel were unacceptable, unsanitary, and unsafe, particularly given that both my sister and I have asthma and are recognized as disabled under the State of Ohio.

Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that the room was extremely dirty. There was significant dust buildup in the heating system vents, which is a serious concern for individuals with asthma. Additionally, the heat in the room did not work, creating further discomfort.

Most concerning, there were roaches/bedbugs in the room. We killed two roaches/bedbugs (so mine said it looked like a bed bug not a baby roach) and attempted to kill a third, which escaped through a crack in the wall. This created an unsanitary and distressing environment that made it difficult for us to feel safe or comfortable staying in the room.

Due to a power outage in the area because of the heavy winds on Friday, March 13, 2026 all hotels were booked. This caused us to be stuck there. I was able to make a reservation at Comfort Inn the following morning, but again, due to the power outage the room was not available no sooner than 4 pm today.

There were also several safety and service issues:

• No telephone in the room, which is a safety concern. When we requested one from the front desk, we never received it. This forced us to walk back and forth to the lobby whenever assistance was needed with a disability!

The elevator had trash and graffiti. I get off on my floor, and there's trash all up and down the entire hallway. Literally. I checked in at evening time, which meant, housekeeping had already clocked out for the day after not doing their job. You could tell that the floor hadn't been touched in days. Just litter everywhere. There was a large bucket of dirty dishes sitting in the hallway across from my room. I went downstairs to complain. If I could upload the video I took, of all the trashiness, I would. Had this not been a last-minute reservation, I would've gone right back downstairs to get a refund and leave. I stayed for two nights, and housekeeping still hadn't cleaned the hallway of that same litter the morning I was due to check out. The room itself was nice, though.

The room was disgusting. The toilet never worked. When I told staff they handed me a plunger. I also asked for a refund to switch my accommodations but I was told I I had to go through the manager. When Expedia called the hotel several times the manager was never in. The hallways were filled with trash. There was dog poop all over the grass. It’s the single worst hotel I’ve ever been to.
