Thought we were in a ghost town. Lights in the Galway next to the elevator out, all card key locks on the building out of service, only saw 1 person working in the building, grounds around building full of branches and leaves from last fall, breakfast area not maintained with minimal food to include very green bananas. Toilet plunger in bathroom with only 1 towel set for 2 guests. Will not be staying at Ramada again after this experience not to mention the pot smell in the hallway.

The park I lot is barely light up my room was outdated no wash clothes gum stuck on my head board just awful all around. I attempted to cancel but the property wouldn't allow it I see why because after seeing the room nobody would've stayed there.

This hotel really needs some help. The company who owns it either needs to sell it, or figure out how to fund the repairs. It’s a mess, and can barely be called a hotel. Nothing works, and everything is broken. The pool was out of order, the elevator was out of order, and the lights around the building did not work (felt unsafe). The front desk has a bunch of unprofessional signs hanging around about all the things guests should not do at the hotel. I had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my room since the elevator was out of order. The stairwells look like they have not been cleaned in years. The toilet would not flush. There was a plastic bag over the smoke alarm (I can’t believe the housekeeper didn’t catch that). The alarm clock had missing pieces, and the lamp fell over with just a touch. The walls are so thin that there was a family either next to me or above me, and I could hear their kids all night as if they were in the hallways running up and down. The kids kept falling, crying, and the dad was constantly yelling at them that he was going to beat them. I was fearful that somebody was just going to come in my room all night because the hotel just didn’t seem like a very safe place to be. It was a nightmare experience.

I want a refund left because was stuck in parking lot had to pay for a tow truck to get my car out of the parking lot and no heat at all in the common area and no towels or Toilet paper in the room and when I asked I was given a hand towel and one roll of toilet paper. Called Ramada in Corp complained asked to be refunded and they stated had to contact you the 3rd party. The tow alone was 100.00 can provide pictures if needed.

The room was just okay. Not exactly as clean as id like but not bad. We arrived late at night due to a flight delay and once we checked in we were directed to the elevators to get to our floor. We were warned that there were no lights on down the hallway because the manager wanted them turned off at night, it was quite dark and didn't feel very safe travelling alone with my daughter. And we were also warned about terrible sound the elevator made but only on the 5th floor. My daughter was so scared by it we had to take the stairs the rest of the trip. Also the breakfast was terrible. Not much to offer, everything looked old and stale, and even the coffee didn't offer anything but sugar, equal and powdered creamer. I mean at least provide some half and half or something? Needless to say we went out for breakfast instead. Money I didn't plan on spending. Hotel was very old and in rough shape overall. Also when I booked I didn't intend on bringing my 12 year old daughter but at the last minute decided to do so. Because she wasn't on my original reservation they wanted me to pay an additional $25 cash only (seems shady) to get her a wristband to be able to have breakfast and to use the pool. We didn't even try to use the pool so I can't speak for what that would have been like. Wasn't going to pay additional money for that when I can only imagine it was like the rest of the hotel.

In no particular order: no soap, TV remote did not work, remote missing cover, building and room freezing cold, was advised by staff to wear a coat to breakfast area since it was \"freezing,\" elevator issues (call button did not illuminate to indicate it is working, very loud non-confidence inspiring squealing noise as elevator moved), parking lot not plowed adequately and icy, no tissues, partial roll of TP (not enough), no staff to find or deliver soap/TP, had to go and retrieve missing items myself (multiple trips), no TV directory, lamp missing bulb, fitness area closed (for a while - despite my asking before arrival about it), shower curtain smelled awful, room very dry, wall thermostat did not work, wake-up call did not arrive, sink backed-up, illumination by sink inadequate, room AC/heater very loud (sleep prevention device), no maintenance person available to unclog sink

Ramada – A Disappointing Stay
I recently stayed at the Ramada in Cleveland and, unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the hotel is in need of significant updates and more attentive management.
Temperature & Comfort
Despite freezing outdoor temperatures of around 20°F, the hotel had turned off the heating entirely in an effort to save costs. As a result, the entire building—from hallways to common areas—was uncomfortably cold. My room was no exception: I walked into a freezing space where the heating unit wasn’t even plugged in. It took time to figure out how to get the system running, and even then, the warmth took a long time to build up.
Condition of the Hotel
The property overall feels aged and poorly maintained. Surfaces, furnishings, and general infrastructure show visible signs of wear, giving the hotel an outdated and neglected impression. The pool area, which is usually a highlight in a hotel, felt more like the Arctic—far too cold to be usable or enjoyable.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast, even for a simple “grab‑and‑go” style offering, was extremely disappointing. The selection, quality, and presentation were all below what one would expect from a brand like Ramada.
Value for Money
What makes the situation even more frustrating is the price point. Budget chains such as Motel 6, Super 8, or Red Roof Inn consistently provide better comfort, warmth, and overall value at a lower cost. For

It’s funny that a non smoker has to sign a form. Yet I barely walk into the hotel and it reeks of pot. I guess it’s ok to light up as many joints you can while you are here. The whole parking lot is barely shoveled or salted. I guess it doesn’t matter if someone falls, no one will be there to help out. But the room is actually nice. The room looks clean and doesn’t smell like pot. Please try to raise the bar of people’s expectation a tad higher, overall?

Parking was ok but not very close. In the winter there should be some sort of rugs/carpeting with the floors being wet, it was slippery and dangerous. Rooms are way outdated. There was a hole in the wall that was just patched, not painted. Very disappointed with the front desk staff with the exception of maintenance he was above and beyond. We ended up canceling the second night because of all these issues. We weren't the only ones canceling their additional nights.

Went there for a 2 night stay for New Years Eve and day. The luggage carts where in bad shape, ended up carrying the luggage to my room. Their accessible rooms were a long way from the elevator which was a burdon for my wife. They seemed to have trouble with the key cards as many guests had to come back to the front desk to have them reset. In the room, the TV and phone didn't work, the ice machine didn't work had to travel to the back of the hotel to park with a hilly slope that was not plowed. Only stayed 1 night and asked the front desk regarding refund and was told the manager would call, has not done so. The only bright spot was the maintenance guy who replaced the TV and phone, and even got us some ice.This was my worse hotel stay. The place is not worthy of the name Hilton Ramada.

We were told to use entrance b and that is where the main parking is. You have to go up steps or down them w tour suit cases. Then you have to walk down the long hall back towards the lobby to get the elevator but no parking near lobby. Not easy as someone that is handicap. The hall stunk from weed.
Got to room and I requested a handicap room and only accessible was a bar by the shower. Unable to sit and get up from toilet bc was so low. But didn’t matter since toilet seat was broken off the toilet. The room stunk and covered in stains. They gave us another room and told us their accessible rooms don’t have accessible toilets w bars near them. Went to new room and hairs all over the pillow cases, stains over everything. Paint all coming off walls and vents so filthy it was creepy. Had to squat for the toilet bc they were so low in the accessible room. They were impossible to get off of.
Tried the 24hr fitness center and cards don’t actually work there. They keep the large area before the lobby dark and very creepy walking through. Went to breakfast and it was filthy and a mess. No one cleaning up
Place needs a good cleaning and up date and a ton of repairs

For one right at the start we had had to get multiple room keys because they kept deactivating on their own, then the elevators were unsafe they took you to multiple floors before getting to your floor so we had to use stairs to get back and fourth to room, the staff was very inattentive to our needs, the staff was rude and not at all accommodating, we had to switch rooms at 1am because our shower was spraying all over the ceiling when turning it on, once we switch rooms they put us in a room with smaller beds and when removing the sheet to inspect bed it was full of pee stains and red stuff, then we try to go to the pool they told us we need wrist bands we said we didn’t receive any the manager try to charge us $25 per person for wrist band we refused so she gave us one band upon entry to pool the jacuzzi had no water and didn’t work and the pool water was discolored and dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Overall our experience was horrible and the customer service provided was appalling and ridiculous! I would rate them a zero if possible. O also the extra doors to enter and exit from building were fully accessible without no key entry even tho it stated on doors key entry was needed which wasn’t true cause doors open right up with no key which is a a safety measure because anyone can enter or exit building without key entry very unsafe!

Sidewalk and parking lots were pure ice. Elevator didn’t work and we were on the 4th floor. Tub was dirty. Had no towels. Asked for towels was given hand towels that I had to come down for. Next day, was told to call and they’d bring towels, 3 hours later we went to get them because they never came. My room key reset everyday when I left. I chose this location for the pool and it was closed the entire time. No tissues in the rooms. No toilet paper in the rooms. Hotel was fridgid cold. All in all - terrible experience.

Friendly team. Great mexican restaurant attached. Here’s the low part, The hotel itself is starting to look pretty shabby. I have stayed here many times over the years and sadly, I may have to consider other options at this point. There’s no Ice Machine. The bed was broken. No trash can in bathroom. Coat rack falling off the wall. Tv didn’t work. Lamps are falling apart. I really don’t like giving poor reviews. Especially since I have stayed there for so long. But if there is not some investment to make improvements soon, the place will just fail.

Second room had a couple unknown pills on bed that I threw away. If it wasn’t for my kids and wife being really tired after the Cavs game, I would’ve drove back home. No cream cheese for the bagels, the orange juice and milk was open in a pitcher. The room where breakfast was served was cold and damp looking. I enjoyed the price of the room and beds were okay but everything else about the hotel dark and dingy. They can do better!

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The hallways were dark and all the floors in the hotel are dirty. Ceiling tiles falling down and ceiling tiles with leaks everywhere. The pool was not clean and there was broken glass in the pool, hot tub was empty and out of order and they didn’t even bother to clean it out it was nasty. I booked a double room with two king beds and was told they didn’t have such a thing. When I book a double room that means two rooms I thought? Parking lot was dark. And you have to walk a mile to your vehicle. Wife got locked in the bathroom and the full size wall mirror was off the wall and leaning on the coffee table. Will not be booking anymore stays with Orbitz again! Boogers on the ceiling mold on the shower curtain.

Room was not restocked (no hand soap, no coffee pods , no coffee cups, no ice bucket liner, coffee pot didn’t work), the bathroom floor looked dirty. Towels were restocked, and I HOPE the bed had clean sheets. We came in and just fell in bed. It was not dusty, and everything looked nice at a casual glance.
Desk staff are great! Personable and tried to help all they could.
Parking is poorly lit, but seemed safe.
Breakfast looks sparse, but after everything else we are afraid to even try it…

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. From online pictures, I was expecting a hot breakfast buffet. Instead, it was the more typical cold cereal, fruit, yogurt type breakfast, which was fine. I noticed one of the outside corridor doors was not locking properly. I mentioned it to the front desk. A half hour later, when I checked out, the issue had not been fixed.

The manager was super unprofessional.She was very argumentative and aggressive.She was extremely rude to the max. And told me I was mad.Room service was trash literally. We had to ask for a trash can in my room and didn’t get one until Sunday. The hotel kept having the fire alarm set off and one of the fire alarms set off in the middle of our sleep at night where we had to leave the building. The hallways smell like urine. This hotel is a negative 10. I would never in my life go back or recommend anybody to stay at this hotel. I was very disappointed and I paid 250 dollars for my daughter birthday.

Unfortunately didn’t even end up staying there. Upon checking in the lobby was extremely dirty and an unpleasant feeling. Received our room key and went to the room and the door was unlocked. Went directly back downstairs and asked for a refund and we were leaving. There was no manager on duty so still waiting to hear back from a gmail account email that the gentleman at the front desk gave us. I wouldn’t recommend adding this hotel to your list.

Well to while waiting to check in a person came to the front desk complaining there was no hot water. That was like a red flag. Then the key card machine was not working properly. At around 7:30 PM there were still no hot water. I call Expedia, which and return call them at about 9 PM. We finally got hot water. The room was OK. The bathroom shows signs of not being clean properly. Now the breakfast if you wanna call at breakfast, it’s just bagel, cupcakes, coffee, or orange juice, and milk and they just put one jug and when it finish it just gotta wait till they refilled it. The real part of it was there’s no ice machine. You actually have to go to the front desk and ask them for ice and they will give you a small bag of ice. Never seen anything like that. No one greeted us at the front desk and the staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. Our room was supposed to have microwave oven when we got there. There was no microwave. When ask about it. They stated that I will have to upgrade my room to get a microwave Which is ridiculous. Would I stay here again? I never say never but as long as this other hotel around maybe not. It could be such a nice place if they kept it up.

The original room was dirty, the hallway was disgusting and finding the original room was confusing. I had an ice bucket in my room but I have no idea where the ice machines was. Evidently wasn't one on the level I ended up staying on, and once I finally got into the correct room I wasn't going down every level to find one or ask the chick at the desk since she wasn't professional to begin with.

Gross! The walls in the bathroom were peeling ,calk in the shower was stain bad probably mold, bathtub had a big stain in it. Not even sure if the sheets was changed since there was dirt on the sheets. Had to park in a pitch dark parking lot to lights at all! The front desk guy said outload my room number and I was staying there alone.
I was charged way more then i was quoted.
I will never stay there again! Not worry the cheap quote!

First they gave us the wrong room. There was only one set of towels in the room so I asked housekeeping for another towel and washrag and they said they didnt have any to go down to front desk and ask them for one, they didnt have any either. In our 2 day stay we never got any towels. I went to use the phone and it didnt work and also there was a cigarette ash on the phone, so much for it being a smoke free room, they never gave me a new phone even though I told the front desk mine didnt work. The elevator went out for a while the 2nd day and we had to walk down and up again 4 flights of stairs. We asked for toilet paper and housekeeping said to go down and ask the front desk, they said they didnt have any then gave me a used roll of toilet paper, I then told housekeeping and they finally gave me a unused roll. I dont know why they didnt do that in the first place. My husband phone slipped down between the couch cushion and when he reached down to get it there was all kinds of crumbs and food under the cushions.

We were disappointed with the condition of our room. It was missing a shower head and the bathroom door didn’t shut properly. There were patch marks on the wall and burn marks on the bedding. I won’t go back.

Has great potential. Room could've been a bit more cleaner for my liking. Some rose pedals left on the floor, I'm assuming from prior guests and the tv stand/dresser had a lot of baby spiders crawling over it, and the room smelled like stale smoke.

The woman that checked me in was amazing. The room itself was extremely dirty, there was dirty silverware on the nightstand the toilet seat had smears on it and the one bed had obviously not been changed it looked like someone peed in it and there were black crumbs all throughout the sheets. One of the dirtiest hotels i had ever stayed in.

I reserved a king room, when we got there they say all they had left was a 2 queen bed room. The room was ehhh. The remote for the tv didn't have a back, so I tried calling the front desk. The phone wasn't plugged in. When I called from my phone the front desk told me someone would bring a new one up. I waited 4 hours and no remote. I also told them sbout the phone, the light in the doorway that flickered and that someone colored on the wall. I took the remote down the next day and it wasn't even the right one. But, the staff seemed to get more friendly as the days went on. I wouldn't stay there again though. The mexican restaurant connected to the hotel has great food.

Hotel was dirty, no ice or vending machines at the property, breakfast was a joke, bread, stale cereal, milk, juice (in decanters) and oranges that were moldy.

I did not feel safe, vagrants walked the lot all hours of the day and night, the rear entrance made you feel like you should be walking into a parking garage, the odor of marijuana was strong everywhere.

The attached mexican restaurant was flavorless and expensive. Will never stay again, wish I could get a refund.

The rooms are filthy & outdated. We were able to change rooms the front desk attendant was accommodating. All the amenities were dirty broken & unusable & the pool was closed. Wires & holes in the ceilings & security doors did not close. This place needs a serious update.
