I stayed at this hotel during a business trip and was disappointed with my experience. The room was not adequately cleaned upon arrival, and there was significant noise late into the night—lasting until around 1:00 AM—which made it difficult to sleep. Overall, the stay did not meet the standards I typically expect from a La Quinta property. Will not return.

It was a horrible experience!

1.) No Shampoo or soap in the shower (after advertising it) Was anyone filling or cleaning???
2.) Advertised Breakfast Buffet when they offer one waffle iron, that needs to be replaced, only dry oatmeal, cold cereal, bread and bagels
3.) Advertised a smoke free room when my window was wide open (assuming someone smoked there before I had the room) and it was FREEZING
4.) on the last day, had to climb up and down the stairway to load my 5 full bags and buggy.

When we arrived was asked if we could go to second floor and the elevator was broke. Told them no because we are disabled. Told them this before we checked in also so they were aware if this prior. Had to wait for room after we precheck in and said we should arrive at 3 pm but didn't arrive toll 4:30 pm. Filthy property dirty sheets someones personal items under sheets. Dirty floor with dust bunnies. Mildew and mold at sink bathtub and under soap holder. Even after complaining to management and the room recleaned sheets were not changed bed was just remade as it was with same dirty sheets. Mold mildew was still present. Room we were told was under constructionwith a wood panel under shelf between the bed laing at an angel against wall loose and falling. Someone's cup was in the refrigerator with frozen water in it. One wash cloth. Don't stay here.

Room was old and filthy, old urine on seat and bowl. So much dirt in bathroom hadnt been mopped in weeks. Blood on comforter. Had to unplug refrig due to obnoxious noise. Cafe area filthy floor. NEVER stay here again or recommend a LaQuinta EVER.

The room was a disaster, lack of towels, fruit loop cereal pieces in the closet, the tub leaked, the toilet barely worked, the sink was either a trickle or Niagara Falls, the tv had lines through it, the air unit did not work and in the middle of the night I found a cigarette burn on the comforter - when I informed this to the manager on duty in the morning as it was midnight when we got to the room to settle in after a wedding, the only thing he said was \"sorry \"

Room definitely could have been WAY cleaner! The bathroom was gross! Bathroom door didn’t close all the way, sink was all cracked with water that sputtered out of the faucet. Only had one set of towels in the room for a reservation of 3. One of the beds sunk in SO much!!!! Like a HUGE divot in the entire middle of the bed!!! You didn’t even need to get in it to see how bad and sunk in it was! Also I understand winter hasn’t been kind, but I already have a broken foot and walking out the doors to the parking lot was a VERY slippery non maintained area in which our group of 5 almost all slid and fell at some point if not multiple times! We are all from out of state and here for volleyball. I know this was the cheaper option out of the hotels recommended, but it definitely needs some help. Staff was very nice and kind though!

The first room felt very neglected ,it was so dirty. There was hair everywhere , bathroom dirty and things were falling apart I stayed in room 107. The front desk guy did change my room but put me next to the laundry room I stayed in 113 it was so loud .And as well this room was dirty but better than the last one The card said Lana so Ms Lana needs to clean better or find another job NEVER AGAIN !!! 100 down the drain smh

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything I needed for a one week stay - in-room heater/air conditioner that’s quiet, a comfortable bed, desk, TV, comfortable chair for relaxing. refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, microwave, grab bar in the tub/shower, good quality toiletries and towels. There’s a good variety of items for breakfast. It’s an excellent value and my favorite place to stay when I visit relatives in Independence OH.

Check and Room were okay ... The bathroom was gross. Shower head looked as if it has never been cleaned, the exhaust fan grill was gross and I only mention it because it's at eye level ... I only stayed one night and thankful so because I refused to get under the gross showerhead.

If you enjoy soiled mattresses and absolute filth, this is the place for you!
Staff smoke cigarettes (and pot) just outside the “lobby” door, so the smell is horrific.

This hotel is very run down. The elevator is dirty and the door closes almost immediately, making it unsafe. Amenities are misleading — there is no gym despite being advertised.

The rooms are in poor condition and need much better cleaning. My bathroom had visible mold, and the extractor fan was both filthy and extremely noisy. Parking is also a problem since spaces are taken up by people from a nearby bar, leaving little availability for guests.

One of the worselt breakfast ever seen. Had to get something outside.

Overall, very disappointing stay.

Upon entering the lobby appeared to be neat. The check in process was lengthy. Once into our room there was a dirty tissue in the floor. A pair of sunglasses, not ours, laying in the desk chair. The doors were dirty and the air was very humid and the room smelled moldy. The bathroom was in desperate need of updating, with the tub having rust spots in it and the caulking was moldy. Whoever is in charge of housekeeping needs retrained. The hotel is pet friendly which I love, however,I do not want to sleep with dog hair. The comforter and decorative topper was full of dog hair. We did not check in until almost 2 am so we did stay but I would never recommend.

My stay at the hotel was nice..i wasn't in my room much. I came for my 40th year class reunion. But it was nice and quiet every night when i came in tired and ready to go to bed.The front desk staff was very nice and helpful..my room was very clean and comfortable
2 things that i was not ok with..
I could not take a bath...i had to take a shower..for some reason they have the shower button set and stuck in the upward position..I have a bad back and hip so standing up in the shower was very painful for me..They could have offered more varieties for breakfast..everyone does not eat waffles..sweet cereal..But overall my stay was good. I would consider staying again when im in Cleveland.

This hotel is a modified version, so no exercise room nor upgraded room decorum. Upon arrival, coffee area had coffee leaked, call room service whom promptly attended to the clean up. Discovered, unless requested, room will NOT be cleaned. We came back from a full days outing to a dirty room. The staff was very nice and attentive, the continental breakfast was adequate.

Probably the worst stay I’ve ever had, rooms and facilities were filthy. Our room smelled of cigarettes and had black mold in the bathroom/stained sheets. When brought up to the attention of employees he argued saying he saw and smelled nothing and insisted it was clean to him.

If it was for the non refund policy and having already paid two nights we would not have stayed at all.

The new room we were given did not smell of smoke but was just as unclean.

“Breakfast buffet” was extremely limited to breads/cereal and a waffle iron. Not much there.

Many families were facing the same issues, staff was rude and argumentative and not resolving anything.

Will never stay here again.

Problems at check in. We were given a room, went in and set the A/C, came back with our luggage and people were in our room and our keys no longer worked. Front desk gave us a different room. Beds had HUGE dips in mattresses. Room felt grimy and unclean. Door handle came off. Side door was open and anyone could come in without key. Door needs to be pushed closed if it’s unsecured. General appearance of property unmaintained and unclean. Trash full in common areas. Cigarette butts around parking lot. Six hotels on our road trip and this was the worst but cost the most.

Deteriorating hotel needs work

Portions of the hotel are deteriorating. The carpet outside our room's door was loose to the point of being a trip hazard and was dirty. The walls in the hallway outside our room had multiple dents and dings which need to be repaired and touched up with paint. We also noted spots in our room similar to this. The door to the bathroom was in poor condition, appeared beat up and was a pocket door design. The latch was missing screws and the door would not slide fully closed. It remained open approximately an inch. The hand towel rack was broken. One part of the bracket was still attached to the wall and the rest was missing. The carpet in the room was frayed and becoming a trip hazard at the point where it met up with the tile. Some of the baseboard molding near the sink was missing. Our room was immediately next to the elevator and it made loud mechanical noises that constantly disturbed us the entire stay. Overall this property needs some work to bring it up to good condition.The Hotels.com reviews that we read said nothing about any of these issues. It was disappointing to arrive and find out that the condition of the hotel did not match the reviews we read prior to booking this site.

Over all property was good and stay was good. Nice restraints in walking distance, easy on off highway “normally”. During our stay quite a few exits and roads were closed down so took a lot longer with detours and reroutes to get anywhere.

Only complaint about the room was tub cap would not stay up so while showering the tub would fill with water. Our room was very spacious and clean. All employees we encountered were friendly. Breakfast was a bit lacking, but as advertised with basic breads, waffles, yogurt and fruit.

We did not have 5-star expectations, as we have stayed at several of La Quinta properties in the past. This particular location did not live up to its 6.8 out of 10 rating from Expedia reviews. Check-in was smooth, & although we noticed poor craftsmanship and dirty walls on the 1st night, we chose to overlook these issues. On the morning of our 2nd day, we reported a non-functioning toilet to the front desk before 9:00 a.m. When we returned at 4:00 p.m., it had still not been repaired, and our room had not received any housekeeping service. We were given a new room key to “use for the night” & told the toilet would be repaired the following day, as maintenance had already left. However, we were not instructed to move rooms. The next morning, we found ourselves locked out of our original room. When we spoke to the front desk, we were informed that we would be charged for an additional room since we had “occupied” two rooms overnight. The lack of customer service and the confrontational attitude of the front desk clerk were extremely disappointing. Due to the holiday weekend and the limited availability of nearby accommodations, we had no choice but to remain at the hotel. We were eventually moved to another room, which, unfortunately, was just as dirty as the first. Housekeeping services were never provided during our stay. The continental breakfast was subpar. After discovering black flecks in the apple juice dispenser, we had serious concerns about cleanliness & sanitation.

But we had 7 rooms the smell in a few of those rooms where awful Our room was the first floor suite door would not close the got it close but we had leave. Our guest come through our bedroom. Need to update their breakfast Menu. I will not be back.
