We had one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever experienced here. The food was fresh, delicious, and enjoyed with a beautiful view that made the whole morning feel extra special. The scenery around the property is stunning, and the small private beach creates a relaxing atmosphere that feels exclusive and peaceful.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very service-minded, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. We also had a massage that was absolutely amazing.

Overall, a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend.

We had one of the best experiences of our Japan trips at this hotel. From the healthy breakfast buffet, fresh juices made from an actual juicer and to the cleanliness and aesthetic detail of the whole resort… Solace and rejuvenation was found. The staff is so hardworking, kind and truly made the entire experience. <3 The Thalasso pool also is a great tool for healing one’s body and everything was world class. We will be returning.

Misleading room description

My husband and i booked the two bedroom for our family trip with my mother. When we checked in it was just a bed set up in the living room with no door. Not ideal for three adults.

The staff were extremely helpful and switched our rooms to be two rooms. However we had to pay an additional $1500!

It ended up being more expensive than The Ritz Carlton!!

Once we were in our rooms it was lovely the staff were super helpful and friendly the beach is probably one of the nicest beaches on the island.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional 5-star resort in Nago, Japan, and without a doubt, it was one of the finest hospitality experiences we've ever had.

From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with a level of warmth and professionalism that immediately made us feel at home. Every detail was handled with care—from the seamless check-in to the personalized service throughout our stay.

The room was absolutely stunning: spacious, immaculate, and elegantly designed with modern comforts and traditional Japanese touches. Our suite offered breathtaking ocean views, a serene private balcony, and thoughtful amenities that exceeded expectations, including plush bedding, luxury bath products, and state-of-the-art technology.

What truly set this resort apart was the service. Every team member we encountered was genuinely kind, attentive, and proactive. Whether it was arranging transportation (including a shuttle from Naha), our dining, taxis, or simply greeting us each time we saw them, the hospitality was unmatched.

The amenities were equally impressive. The resort boasts a serene infinity pool overlooking the coast, a world-class spa with traditional Japanese treatments, and several outstanding restaurants featuring locally sourced ingredients and impeccable presentation. Every meal was a culinary highlight.

I would highly recommend this resort and can't wait to go back to Okinawa so we can stay here again.

My husband and I went this past week to the Terrace Club and are counting the days as to when we can return. The staff was phenomenal during our entire stay. They predicted our needs and wants before we even said anything. They appeared out of nowhere to assist us. The rooms were super clean, except the mattresses were very hard, but this is a matter of personal preference. The hydrotherapy pools was our favorite activity as well as the body treatments. Our only recommendations were to offer more dining options as the resort is very far from anything(1 1/2 hours to Naha airport. Also,there should be at least the concierge staff to be able to communicate in English. We struggled all week with the language barrier, even with our phone translator apps.

Overall, I rate this resort with a 10 & can’t wait to return soon. Don’t hesitate. Just book your stay asap!

I thought the entire staff at this property was absolutely lovely! They were super helpful and attentive our entire stay. The property itself is gorgeous, rooms with ample amount of space. The restock anything you need twice daily. So overall for that I will give it a 10/10. Now in terms of what I didn’t like… I felt like the Terrence club was significantly under whelming from the the sister hotel next door. They had better dining options and amenities. For the price the terrace club is you are better off with the sister hotel. Also in terms of the pool in April the water was essentially un swimable. It was like doing a polar plung, not having it heated so people can swim is ridiculous. The ocean is to cold to swim in so at least have the pool at a decent temperature so guess can use the amenities. The other pool which is connected to the sauna area you can’t bring your phones or take pictures so influencers be aware. I also wanted to order a drink from the bar and bring it to my room and the girl told me i couldn’t… which was odd. Overall the people and location was great for several day trips but I was pretty let down by the lack of options we had I terms of utilizing all the hotel had to offer. If your picking this hotel just pick the main sister hotel.

Beautiful spacious room with an incredible view. The pools and beach were great and very quiet.

The staff was exceptional, attentive and always wanting to help. Only one staff member spoke English, Peem was really great, though it was challenging to communicate when she wasn’t on shift.

Laundry facilities were constantly busy and in the “sister resort” which was quite inconvenient.

The bed was firm and could use a mattress topper for comfort. Pillows and bedding were perfect. The buffet breakfast and dinner were lovely and definitely worth it.

Having looked forward to our stay at the end of our tour of Japan and booking the terrace club we were underwellmed by the club. Whilst the room was spacious and with great views, the beds were short and uncomfortable as was the lack of blackout blinds. Overall decor was dated for an offering of this level and does not compare to Shangri-la or Jumeirah brands. Club pool facilities were pior, uncomfortable sun loungers, parasols that blew over, no operational pool bar and no wifi coverage. The staff for breakfast, tea and happy hour were mostly good and friendly, we would especially callout excellent service from Kaneshiro. The main terrace hotel was far better visually, much more comfortable sun loungers but again no wifi coverage by the pool, no operational pool bar, no where to get water and cafe only from 11am. We were also found it difficult to get food on sunday 30th in any of the restaurants other than the buffet which we had the previous night, other restaurants were either closed or hosting private functions. We eneded up having room service. Overall great location, huge potential, but dated and lacks the superior offering of other brands.

If you want a quiet resort right on the beach this is the place. The Thalasso massage pool is a bonus, my wife loved it and was in it everyday. The service crom the staff was top notch. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast more at sister resort which is a quick few minute gof cart ride. The staff at both resorts were fantastic.

The furniture in the rooms is somewhat dated
The pool area is nice but weirdly no one swims in the ocean directly next to the hotel and there are all sorts of signs warning you of the dangers
There was some sort of screeching insect that was very very noisy day and night while we were there so it was difficult to enjoy our patio
Food/ drinks is expensive
WouLd be nice if they had bicycles as there’s a nice trail along the highway
Also if more of the info about the hotel and programs
was in English
I personally preferred hawaii

The Busena resort is quite away from the Naha airport but it's worth the drive! It's so beautiful and right on the beach and seems secluded from any busy city stuff. The level of service is way way above what you usually get at hotels, and you can definitely take advantage of lots of free and paid amenities on property. Rooms are spotless, big, and comfortable. The free breakfast, teatime, and cocktail hour are amazing! They really treat you like royalty here.

My one bad experience at Busena was our meal at the Chinese dining restaurant on property. I ordered cashew chicken and wasn't too sure about the texture and if it seemed cooked. About 5am the next morning I got extremely ill and my husband felt fine. The only thing I had eaten that he hadn't was the chicken from the restaurant.

Amazing stay. We went March 11th, so off season just before things really ramp up for summer (April 1st). As such, the swimming pools were not open, but everything else was and it was private, exclusive, quiet, beautiful, etc. the salt water spa pool was open if course, so did not miss anything.

Staff were incredible and attentive, kind and accommodating. Rooms were just gorgeous - it was well worth the ocean view.

We enjoyed the complimentary tea-time and cocktail-time, which is something not very common in other hotels.
The rooms are super clean!!
The only downside i would have to say, would be that it was not possible to go to the sea as they dont have nets on that side of this hotel. Where they do have nets and there is a lifeguard, i would recommend taking some soft shoes to be able to get in to the sea, as there is a lot of corals that hurt the feet when you want to go for a swim!

Perfect getaway.

It is a wellness resort. The hotel is nice on a private beach. Rooms are super spacious with all necessary toiletries.

Staff was very nice and polite. Valet parking was also included.

Breakfast was not very large like big 5-star hotel but everything was tasty, fresh and healthy . And more importantly, not very busy and we could enjoy the view of the beach while indulging our-self in a bunch of delicious food.

There are only two hotels I would stay at on Okinawa. The Terrace club is one of them because it is so relaxing and quite. The staff is superb and you could not find better service than here. We love the fact that it is adults only none under 16 permitted. The rooms the view the thalasso pool is OUTSTANDING.

Room very comfortable. We had requested sunset view not realising that it overlooks the entrance and carpark rather than straight out over the beach/sea

Nothing was too much of an issue.

There are other restaurants in the same hotel resport som you could stay on site all the time but then you'd miss out the rest of the island.

Picture Perfect Views with Friendly Staff

Stayed in the private suites in which were located in another tower with sunset views. Felt very exclusive and everything was maintained very well. The only issue were: lack of signage for visitors who did not know that there's different check in locations, depending on your room, and that there were strict time constraints for accessing the pool. This meant that if you arrived late, and had to leave early, you will miss out on using most of the facilities. Otherwise, everything else was great! Must try the massage service!

This place is 5 star all the way. Beautiful rooms with amazing views. Excellent food. Private beach is a huge bonus. Both the pool and thalasso pools were exceptional. The staff go above and beyond expectations. While here on our honeymoon, my wife was in need of medical attention and the staff sent us straight to the nearest hospital (where English was spoken). One of the staff members even came to the hospital out of uniform and after her shift had ended to make sure we were ok. She translated and helped fill out paper work at the nearby pharmacy (where no English was spoken). We are so grateful for her. I fully recommend the terrace club at busena. Only complaint was the spotty wifi. But at a place like this, who needs it.

Awesome conclusion of our honeymoon

Stayed April 10th to 15th 2016. Very accommodating staff, pool facilities and spa professionally serviced. We didn't try all restaurants on the resort, but those we ate at all served excellent meals with the personnel performing their service friendly and diligent. There are more restaurants and bars within walking distance in nearby Kise. Would go back there anytime.

Absolutely Amazing Resort

This hotel is definitely a five star resort. I believe the Terrace Club is the more luxurious cove of the resort. While I believe you can do an all inclusive package, I paid for just the room on Expedia and was pleasantly surprised that this included free access into the bio pool (heated sea water pool and with jets) and spa area, breakfast (not very western), cocktail hour (free flow champagne and wine), and tea time. The restaurants were also fabulous and had pretty authentic cuisine. I recommend asking when you can actually swim in the ocean as they had closed it while I was there (in February) you could still walk along the beach and sun bath. The wifi was strong and the resort provides all sorts of activities, boat snorkeling (available while I was there), kayak (unavailable due to weather), glass bottom boats (unavailable due to weather), under water observatory (available). Only downside was the English of the majority of the staff wasn't that spectacular, however I'm sure I was there during off season and assume there is more English speaking staff available during the summer.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a great way to end our travels in Japan. Great weather, wonderful staff, fantastic wellness amenities, lots of dining options and a beautiful view! I was under the weather while we were there so it was nice to be able to have healthy breakfasts. Lots of variety too. We especially enjoyed the massage pool experience. It was a nice surprise for us too, as we had no idea this was included in our stay. And the live piano performances were such a nice treat to end the night.

I will definitely make it back.. Maybe in the future for an anniversary? Hehe.

Perfect Place for R&R

The Terrace Club was a perfect post Tokyo getaway. The Thalasso Spa is amazing, the food is divine and there are many options (Teppenyaki, Japanese, Clean eating (fine dining), chinese, italian, etc.) the staff is wonderful and the facility very well maintained. I was traveling solo, at times being one of the only americans was a little uncomfortable because of the language barrier, but once I settled in and warmed up to the place it was no problem. I would recommend learning a few key Japanese phrases in advance in you don't speak Japanese.

Fantastic. Great relaxing stay. High quality service as you would expect from the Japanese. The Club is also much more exclusive than the main hotel so you feel more privileged and the service is more personal. Facilities are great too and the lounge services are great. English is not their strength but then again we were in Japan (we should speak Japanese) and they could not be more attentative and efficient. Excellent stay. We also stayed at the Hyakunagaran - which is even more exclusive and personalised. That was hard to beat but then again it is a different kind of experience and much more expensive. I recommend both hotels and would definitely come back to The Terrace Club at Busensa because of the extra facilities. By the way, the hotel looks and feels much better in person than the photos suggests.

Luxury Hotel on Beach

For someone who normally stays in three star, four-star, or even 1 to 2 star hotels this place was incredible. The price was a bit painful, much after staying there, I can't help but thinking that it was worth it! You tell has a beach right at the back door. It is a beautiful white sand, water gauge. We did not eat the dinner or lunch there , But the breakfast buffet was incredible! Had everything you could want. I do not normally stay in place this nice, so I cannot compare, but as far as I am concerned this place had no downside. I loved that we could use the beach, the facilities and the restaurants in the next door Busena Terrace Hotel. Get the oceanview room… It is worth the extra money.

Beach Spa Hotel

We spent 4 nights here with our daughters, absolutely enjoyed it. Free drinks from 7 to 7 every day. The rooms were very spacious with ocean view, probably one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The staff are so helpful and friendly.

Incredible hotel. Stay at the Terrace club!

Beautiful hotel, the staff are incredible. Stay at the Terrace Club, not the Busena resort. The whole environment, the beaches, the restaurants are fantastic. The staff are the best hotel staff we've ever experienced. We went for our honeymoon and they treated us so well. The beach is super secluded, absolute paradise!

Nice Hotel and will book again in my future trip.

We stayed at the Terrace Club of Busena for two nights, the hotel is more classy then The Busena Hotel if I compared. Both hotels facilities can be used for both hotels guests. Nice view and beach, quite and the hotel staff (at least one people on Shift) with well speaking English. Room is clear and overall our families like it so much. It's about 55 minutes drive back to Naha City, but we have car so we are fine with it.

Very good service

It was a very nice experience and I will definitely recommend this hotel if you would like privacy and tranquility. Service was excellent and the club service does make a difference, with offering of free afternoon tea and happy hour drinks. The only issue I had was not all the staff's English level was the same and I would only be able to talk to a couple specific people. However, all of them were trying very much to help. This is a general problem with Japan I guess but I think international branded hotels did a better job here.

Great Spa hotel on a lovely beach

Fantastic hotel at a great location and brilliant service. Just watch your timings / seasons a bit - we were there in 'jellyfish' season and so didn't get in the sea much!

Great hotel for a family.

Very good in general, too much time to explain about hotel and rules during check in.
I want to arrive and go fast to the room. Food is ok in menu course restaurants, a little expensive but fine. Buffet restaurant is cheaper but quality is totally different.

Ganz Tolles Hotel. Hervorzuheben ist vor allem der spektakuläre Blick von der Terrasse aus und der super tolle Thalasso Pool der eine, wie ich finde, deutlich angenehmere Temperatur hat als onsen Pools.
Ein ganz tolles Erlebnis waren auch die Indoor Massagen die sogar bis 22:00 Uhr abends angeboten werden nur zu empfehlen und ganz toll auch nachmittags die 2 Stunden Tea time und die 2 Stunden Aperitif time mit kostenlosen Getränken und kleinen Snacks
Und alle Mitarbeiter extremst freundlich und hilfsbereit

仕事を頑張ったご褒美でほぼ毎年訪ねます。
ウェルネスに泊まっていながら、朝食はメニューが豊富なザ・ブセナテラスでいただきます（笑）
パンケーキがメニューから無くなっていたのが残念です。以前は、パンケーキ→ワッフル→フレンチトーストが日替わりで出ていたのに、一昨年から2種類になっているようです。
3泊以上するときに楽しみにしていたのですが…。
その他は、いつもどこも清潔でスタッフの方々の気配りも完璧です。
