One of the smallest Ritz compare to the other ones. There isn’t much to do, very limited amenities and no beach front. Though the hotel have free shuttle to the 2 near by beaches, I don’t think the prices really justified itself compare to the other ritz properties. I guess I was expecting more from it. It’s very far from everything

部屋の外からドアを開けるような高い音が鳴り続いていた

サービスも素晴らしく、建物やお部屋も素敵だったのですが、部屋の近くから、古いドアを開けるような高い音がしてなかなか眠れませんでした。朝も7時位からその音がし始めて、目が覚めてしまいました。お手洗い付近で更にその音は大きく聞こえました。部屋内は引き戸で、ドアは玄関しか無いので、何の音だったのかは分かりません。エレベーターの近くの部屋でした。

Ok Okinawa Stay!

Overall the stay was pretty good! Buffet breakfast was quite yummy, would have appreciated a wider variety of fruits. Free transport to restaurant was very lovely, the wait for buggy service from spa was rather long as seemed to only have one buggy. Check in process was slow and after asking for preference of welcome drinks, none arrived even after a good duration of 20-30minutes. Gym equipment half of which were not even in working condition, which was rather shocking. The swimming costume dryer appliance was extremely dirty and put us off from using it. Nonetheless, the service was good and hotel rooms were decent!

The venue is gorgeous ! Ocean and golf views are both very nice. Lot of nature around and inside the resort. The interior design is refined, the rooms very comfortable and spacious. Staff very careful and efficient, the food is tasty. A wonderful Christmas time in a venue we will definitely visit again during a next trip to Okinawa!

We had a wonderful time here for our anniversary. We enjoyed the spa and the on site restaurants. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I had mentioned our anniversary while booking the room, and they went above and beyond making our stay feel special. They decorated our room and had a special dessert made for us. It was a great experience and we will be back for sure. I highly recommend!

Wow! A vacation within a Vacation!

Wow! Absolutely amazing. Their service was hands down incredible. We were able to use the spa for “free” since it was included in our cost. Breakfast was included as well and I would highly recommend trying to the Japense breakfast - also - it’s a buffet sit down style (currently in March of 2020) so you can order essentially as much as you like (insider note). Speaking of which, if you have gluten allergies - the Ritz is so incredibly accommodating at all of their restaurants including the breakfast. Their chefs are knowledgeable too. Definitely try the Kise restaurant since it may be one of our top food experiences. The spa is amazing along with the massages and facials. Yoga was for free and I’d encourage you to join if that’s your thing. The Helios “Awamori” distillery tour was really cool and you were able to drink as much as you want. It’s a vacation within a vacation when you stay here: the toiletries, rainfall shower, turn down service, coffee machine, tea, complimentary water, etc. side note: the “airport shuttle“ is actually the island’s bus which is very affordable but just get a taxi if you’re coming in late to Naha airport or rent a car. Ritz will pick you up and drop you off at the bus station. No, this hotel is not near the beach, it is a 20-minute walk. If you like to golf this seems like you’re best bet. Again, we had such an incredible once I a lifetime experiences. Yes, the Ritz are worldwide but we believe this is at the highest caliber.

Great stay! Love Okinawa and loved staying at the ritz! Beautiful facilities and super comfortable room. The bar is such an amazing experience - the bartender was amazing and made it such a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon. Only weird thing is that you have to pay to use the steam room facilities with a day pass - seems like it should be included with the high room rate if your a guest... but everything else was great.

As expected from the Ritz

As usual the customer service was amazing as expected from Japanese. The room is beautiful with a very comfortable bed and nice view, nice touch with the jazz music on the player. One thing that bothered us was probably the toilet the two-way doors which seemed a little bit uncomfortable to be honest. The bathtub was amazing though. Not many beaches around but the closest one is nice just a little bit crowded, luckily the Ritz Carlton has their own corner at the beach.

Concierge was superb. They speak good English and was very precise and efficient in arranging the transportation and tours. The night desk appeared under staffed. On Friday 12Oct they arranged a hotel shuttle to take my group (9 people) to a restaurant about 5 min away from the hotel. They asked us to inform restaurant to call them when we finish dinner in order that they send the hotel shuttle to pick us up again. For about 20 min, the restaurant and I kept calling the hotel but there was no answer! We ended up having to walk back and it took almost 30 min in the dark. Also the lounge at the lobby floor was a very nice outfit except the one gentleman that was working there (again on Friday 12 Oct) was very eager to inform everyone who walked in (from 6:30 pm onwards, and more seriously so after 7 pm) that the bar would close at 8 pm. It might be a language issue but from my perspectives it came across as unwelcoming.

Other than that, the hotel is excellent and I had a good time staying there.

Overall a truly wonderful experience. Tranquil aesthetic, luxury and comfort throughout as expected. View was beautiful from 5th floor golf/bay view room. Service was excellent aside from one night at Gusuku, we were a bit disappointed with the 8pc sushi was worth the money super small, but the udon definitely is worth every cent. Nosomi at the spa was AMAZING! The detox ritual was perfect in every way. The staff went above and beyond and if I come back to Oki I will definitely come again.

PS - serve the French toast every morning and get rid of those chewy pancakes.

Fabulous stay in Okinawa

We visited Okinawa for two days to escape Tokyo. It was slightly off-season, and we got a great deal at the Ritz-Carlton. It was the beginning of the rainy season, so we knew we may have to spend the entire time in the hotel, which was OK because the hotel had an indoor pool and a variety of restaurants; perfect for a short stay. As it turned out, the weather was excellent, so we enjoyed the outdoor pool, and the views of the ocean from the restaurant. We didn't walk to the beach, but apparently it is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. For us, the pool was enough as it had expansive views of Okinawa, and a pool bar with table service.
The room was elegant and new, and the staff was super attentive. Since it was the off-season, there was no waiting for any of the facilities, or for check-out or check-in. It was a marvelous, luxurious weekend, and I highly recommend the hotel for this type of holiday.

Need we say more? Absolutely everything was fabulous. Right from arrival experience, daily interactions with the different staff, dining in Gusuku. We even get to meet the Japanese chef, chef Yuichi. Wonderful Okinawan dinner we had. Service team at different meal periods are all very attentive. Our room is amazing, with view of the tee off. Very comfortable and great housekeeping team. Concierge team are very helpful too! We had a rental car arranged through the concierge team, the car was delivered to the hotel, and the guest relations team help us drive the car back to the rental company to return. Very helpful indeed. We had a very nice 5 nights, and will definitely return to this hotel.

It's our first time in Okinawa. We wanted a nice hotel and found the Ritz-Carlton to be exceptional. Their amenities and staff are first class. We rented a car and drove to many touristy sites during the day, so we really enjoyed the 5 stars service and comfort of the RC upon our return. We swam in their indoor pool and melted away in their outdoor hot tub. It was so relaxing after a long day seeing the sights and beauty of Okinawa. Highly recommended!

Very easy to access by driving, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, one of the staff at the reception speak native Cantonese and give us many good recommendations on nearby sightseeing location and restaurants. They also offer free shuttle bus service to nearby restaurants and beach.

My wife and I decided to take our 11 month old on his first plane ride to Okinawa. A little nervous about the trip itself, we were looking for accommodations that would hopefully make it a little less daunting. This Ritz exceeded all expectations. Upon arrival, our son received an amenities bag with a rubber ducky, baby shampoo, and skin oil. What was most important to his parents was the doorknob sign warning those outside our room of his nap time. Dining at Gusuku (opt in for the breakfast) staff provided children's settings as well as invaluable cleanup service. Staff were always incredibly sweet, friendly, and accommodating. Though the hotel isn't located on a beach, we didn't really find this to be a drawback as we initially thought it would be. All rooms, except the ground floor rooms with private hot tubs, have at least a partial view of the ocean; and truthfully, Okinawa's beaches aren't exceptional relative to tropical beaches in more resorty locations. The resort, however, does provide transportation to a beach (Kise Beach in our case) by means of a private van. Kise Beach is adjacent to Kise Beach Palace, at which you are free to use their facilities: bathroom, outdoor shower, convenience store, inflatable ocean obstacle course, surf and dive shops. The Ritz will provide their own beach chairs, bottled water, towels, and sunscreen. Happily, our trip to Okinawa became a lovely trip to the Ritz.

This is definitely one of the best hotels that I have stayed in, not only in Japan but other countries as well. The room was extremely comfortable with a great view and the breakfast delicious, but what stood out was the excellent service. The staff were warm and friendly but not overbearing or intrusive, and their attention to the smallest details made our stay very comfortable and memorable. I'll definitely try to stay here again.

This is not really a place for kids but if you are looking to relax and enjoy the company of your spouse and delicious food plus a beautiful oceanic and golf course view, then stop reading and go already!

P.s. not much to see around except beaches and restaurants. Have yo drive at least 20 to 30 mins for attractions but great for relaxing

We stayed at the Ritz for our anniversary. Wonderful view and location. But unfortunately, the service quality was appalling. Perhaps we wee just unlucky. When we checked in, we got no welcome from any staff. Our room had dirty laundry left on the couch from the previous guest. Though we were two men, our robes and slippers were for women. The breakfast service. Was slow with no one clearing our plates and waited 15min for coffee refill. And to top it all off, my therapist game me the wrong menu of treatment then the one I ordered.

Really Cheap beds for a so-called \"Luxury\" Resort

1) The beds have very cheap mattresses. There is a pad on top of a piece of junk, and you can feel the springs in your back and side. There was no brand on the mattress, but the material was typical of a cheap mattress. For $900/night, I'd think I could get a good mattress.

2) DO NOT BOOK VIA THIS WEBSITE. You will be treated like a 2nd class citizen. Every time you ask for something, the answer is, ‘I'm sorry, you didn't book direct.’ You will not get the late checkout that comes with your typical Marriott perks. You will not accrue points from Marriott or Ritz. I think this is a crock, and Ritz Carlton should not offer the rooms on these sites if you are going to be treated this way!

3) The complimentary white slippers were quite dirty after just a few hours. I guess they don’t clean the floors at all.

4) The cabana rooms open out on the pool. This was a $250-300 upgrade and was the only thing that made it not suck. I think the cruddy beds are so you have to get a massage for $300.

5) The room was not big, but plenty of towels, robes, etc. The staff brought ice and bottled water whenever we needed it. The coffee maker did not work. They probably would have fixed it, but it ought to work.

6) There is a shuttle/hotel car to some of the local restaurants which is nice.

7) The hotel is a maze, and there was no map available, so you will end up wandering around for a couple days.

8) No one even asked how our stay was when we checked out. It's like they didn't care.

Really enjoyed my stay at Ritz-Carlton Okinawa

Stayed 3 nights in June. The service from every staff member is fantastic. The property is well maintained. Environment is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast and food served at the Teppanyaki and Italian restaurants are really good. Outdoor swimming pool is a little bit small but nice. Spa facility is first class. Will definitely visit again in the future.

It'd be one of the best resorts you've ever stayed

Ritz Carlton Okinawa is definitely one of the best hotels and resorts I have ever stayed! I've been to many other resort places but this one is my favorite.

First the staff is very helpful and fluent in English, which could somtimes be a rare case in Okinawa. The environment is superb with a big golf course right in front of the hotel, with all rooms enjoying the golf course and ocean view. The room itself was extremely clean and well designed. There are not many facilities but the swimming pool had excellent water quality. Restaurants are great in terms of environment, service and food (well we might be hungry then but the dinner at the Italian restaurant was better than michelin stars I think).

This piece of comment sounds a bit too surreal but the hotel gave me the perfect experience.

The only bit of flaw if I got to find some, is that the room I stayed was close to the golf course and the golf players could peep inside the room easily.

Great hotel, decor and staff

The hotel was stunning, great decor. The staff were really helpful and they had English speaking staff on hand to help us with bookings etc. They organise cars to take you to local restaurants (at no cost) and to the beach (at no cost) which is a short drive from the hotel. You can also walk/run to the beach. The food was excellent, although we tended to have dinner at the local restaurants as they were cheaper. It is, like many other resort hotels on the island, some way from Naha and the airport. Transport is not cheap in Okinawa and renting a car makes sense.

リッツカールトン沖縄に宿泊してから７年が経過し、久しぶりに沖縄に旅をしました。建物、景観、サービス共に以前と変わらず、ホテル到着からすでに気持ちよく受け入れていただくことができました。ホテル内の鉄板レストラン「喜瀬」にて夕食。柔らかすぎるほどのベッドクッションも、いざ横になってみると、しっかりと体を支えてくれ、気持ちよく眠れました。

チェックインからチェックアウトまで本当に快適に過ごす事が出来ました。
ご予約前にホテルのスタッフの方にプランをご相談し、カメラマンさんに依頼してお写真撮影、浜辺へのピクニック、カヤックや水族館など充実した旅行になりました。
ホテルの立地も素晴らしく沖縄旅行を満喫できました、次回もこちらのホテルに宿泊したいと思います。
