I booked for my elderly parents . When we checked in , no one explained anything about breakfast, when we asked other guests they just pointed to the kitchen which was empty . Only managed to find some bread in the fridge . There were no eggs , no bacon no variety of bread or cereals.

The signs in the hotel indicate check out is at 11:00 am but they knocked on the door at 10:00am and kicked us out without giving us a chance to even make breakfast.

So the room was ok ish the bathroom needs replacing as sink tap was rusty and top coat was missing and shower bottom bit where you stand was rusty too. So had unfortunately to avoid shower. Also I came late went bed and wether stag or customers was super loud having conversation in corridor i gad to open door and nearly say I need to be up early and you disagreeing about something very loud. No respect towards guests. So they just looked and said sorry. Also on the site didn’t said before you booked that you need to cook your own breakfast that they only provide ingredients. If that was the case I booked somewhere else. It said only after in small print you need to cook yourself.

Close by for Selhurst Park

Was good location for our event at Selhurst Park (40 minute walk) and was good value for money. Fresh bedding and towels provided. Fortunate to get a free parking spot on the driveway. Didn’t use the kitchen facilities which were on offer. So can’t comment on this. Basic room, but comfortable.

There was some very dubious looking cheese and tomatoes left in the fridge. I think the last occupants had left them there. No milk and spiders webs that had not been dusted away. On a positive the pub down the road serve excellent food and the surroundings were very picturesque.

Comfortable,but very basic,service was very good.

Very Built-up area,although it said free parking,there were only 3 spaces,so we had to park on the road,this hotel definitely needs a referb .Room was quite comfortable,breakfast was a DIY job therefor listed as 24Hrs,fridge was well stocked for a full English,if you fancied yourself to be capable as a chef.Finally the place was run by One young man! Yes a Staff of ONE! who was very helpful and efficient,considering he was on reception ,did the cleaning,the Laundry,make the beds,and umpteen other jobs.If the Owners are reading this review,they need to double his Salary at least,as his Service was the only top rating in our Review.

You get what you pay for here, not a 5* luxury resort! It was comfortable however, ample on-street parking and a triple driveway belonging to the hotel, so no issues leaving your car. Breakfast was basic and help yourself; cereals, toast, fruit juices, tea, coffee, etc...
When we arrived, a very helpful member of staff showed us around the communal area, where he advised that we could help ourselves to the breakfast stuff at any time. He even allowed us to have a carton of orange juice to put in the fridge in our room - this was great as I was about to pop to the shop to get some drinks for the room, but saved me the journey.

Would not stay again.

No one to greet at hotel. Had to wait at the door for ten minutes before getting in. Noticed the electricity plugs did not work in my room. Took him 30 minutes to come and fix this! Walls are very thin can hear other guests coming in and out. Also there is a train line right outside.
Bed was very uncomfortable
Parking was very limited. I was completely blocked in by another hotel guest. Again, there was no one at the desk to help with this. Had to chap all the rooms to find the inconsiderate guest to move there car.

No parking available. Property backed on to a railway line as a result trains were running until after midnight. Even with the windows closed, the double glazing was so poor, I heard the trains going all night. Breakfast was a cook you own!! Never seen that before.

The bathroom could do with a total refurb.. old and tired and dated.. hallway again needs a good paint job and new carpet..the bed was comfortable but squeaked even just to turn..good selection of drinks in the bedroom ...ie coffee.tea..hot chocolate ..orange .. also kitchen had a good selection for breakfast even though it was self service..

Its a central place, norbury.
This aparthotel is of the road and very peacefull.
You will be welcomed by a nice man and he will show you around.
It was a warm welcome because the tea, coffee, juice and chocomilk nice and ordered.
Also restaurand , oystershop and super near to the place .
And ofcourse the busstop to ... Is in front of the aparthotel..
The bus from nearby. As wel the trainstaion close to the place.

For a budget hotel in London very reasonably priced. Very clean and tidy, nice spacious bedroom with ensuite facilities and equally important a comfortable double bed. Great self service breakfast facilities means you can have breakfast at a time to suit. Limited parking on a first come first serve but easy walking distance to train station. Would definitely recommend. CF from Leeds.

Great stay at Norbury apart/hotel

Really great place to stay very close to main line station which was what I used to go to a regimental dinner and as many may know you never get enough to eat well on return to the apart hotel a fridge full of food especially after a lot of beers. A walk in the morning at very nearby big park to clear my head for long drive home. A friendly reception on arrival so what more could I have asked for ?. I would stay again in the future. Fantastic stay

I did not stay at the hotel but at their sister hotel in Tooting. It was very easy to change hotels due to room availability. I was surprised by the cleaniliness of the kichen area and the room. I will definately go and book the same hotel if I am visiting the area.

This was the cheapest we found close to England. I was first uneasy about the neighbor hood but was pleasantly surprised and became very comfortable walking around. I didn't realize that it was a location where you share bathrooms. but again I was pleasantly surprised when we received a whole apartment to ourselves since we requested a family suite. The apartment included 2 bedroom, 2 baths, a livingroom/kitchen area and did not have to share with anyone. Breakfast was ok also you make your own but everything you needed was available. you have to clean up after yourself which is not a big deal. The bathrooms had mold on the ceiling but otherwise sufficient. I was very excited that we didn't have to share our bathroom. This was a first time in such kind of hotel stay and was positively surprised on the quality of people that stayed there. They were very friendly and nice even if we didn't speak the same language. Would recommend this stay to people who have Hilton expectations. IT was very close to a train station which was one of the main reasons we chose this place. We would consider staying there again. Don't expect to check in early.

The person that greeted me was very friendly and welcoming, however to call this a Hotel is deceptive to say the least, it is basically a Guest House and not a very good one at that. For £20+ more I could have got a room from the IHG Group, I'll know what to do the next time.

Good: Self-serve breakfast setup is good even though I only used it once. Train station 5 minute walk. Bad: The room is filthy, filthy, filthy. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. Building maintenance and yard areas neglected. Beds uncomfortable. There is nothing good to say about the room except the provided coffee/tea. We left after a few days even though we lost our money for the last six days and paid for another hotel in another area. It was worth every penny to not have to stay here any longer.

Okay if you need somewhere to put your head down

The Staff were very helpful and polite. Room linen was clean and bed comfortable. The bathroom looked a bit grubby overall and shower was useless, either freezing cold or scalding hot so couldn't have a shower. TV only worked on one channel and had a portable ariel which despite moving around wouldn't get a reception to other channels. Unfortunately our room was on the ground floor near the kitchen/lounge area so was noisy until 1am. We didn't get much sleep. The breakfast is help yourself and you can have egg bacon, toast,cereal and make it yourself which was nice.

My stay was disappointing, Booked in and paid. Manager very helpful and sowed us the complimentary food in a central location. That was great. What was disappointing was the lack of mention of SHARED bathroom and toilet facilities in the Hotels.com booking process. Not satisfactory. It spoiled our stay completely. There should be a very clear warning about shared facilities in the booking process.

Really friendly service. Good value and self-service, self-cook breakfast thrown in. First impressions I was a little disappointed I have to admit but staff member was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. And after relaxing in realised accomodation was clean, tidy and pretty good especially for the price for London. Also there was a well-stocked fridge for breakfast which you just helped yourself to and self cooked. Which made this really excellent value.
