Great stay to experience Garda

My wife and stay here for just under a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the breakfast was good for what we needed. The location is just a 5 min walk from the Lake front, and so is ideal as it quiet.

Fabulous family run hotel close to centre of Garda. Really great staff, excellent breakfast, plentiful and refreshed often. Good pool not the biggest but great for a dip after a hot day. All in all great stay.

Excellent breakfast, great choice, the coffee machine took a bit of getting used to, a great talking point between staff and guests!! All staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Radu who was a great entertainer regarding chit chat, his wife was also very helpful and a pleasure to talk too. My husband enjoyed sparring with Radu and will miss that. We thoroughly recommend this hotel, everything about it is 4/5 star and not 3, we hope to be back at somepoint.

Fantastic hotel

We were greeted at the airport with airport shuttle the hotel had provided. As we had arrived early they held onto our bags while we went and had lunch. They made our room ready early for us. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay and breakfast was exceptional. The pool was lovely with an added treat of food and drink available and brought out to you. Sara on reception was incredibly professional and replied to our email queries before arrival very well.

As a solo traveller, I had a great stay here! I’ve never seen a single room but it worked. There were some nice little touches, the breakfast was great with so much choice- even vegan options. The staff were very attentive and took note of my allergies, making sure to point out what I could have each morning at breakfast. In the peak season they offer excursions too! I had an issue with a light not turning off but they were quick to fix this as soon as I mentioned it. Overall a lovely stay, I felt very welcomed and would definitely return. Thank you!!!

Great Garda stay

We were really pleased we chose this hotel for our 6 night stay in Garda. On arrival and throughout our stay reception staff were efficient and helpful. Our room was spacious, well furnished, clean and comfortable. Great clothes hanging and shelf space. Good lighting, plenty of power sockets and wifi was good for email and browsing. Our room was ground floor but was double glazed and had electric shutters. Breakfast was very good with staff constantly checking and refreshing the buffet to keep things fresh. Lots of options and little changes each day. Location is good - less than 100 metres from old town, but up a hill if you have restricted mobility. We would definitely stay here if visiting Garda again.

Very nice hotel with a perfect location

We had a lovely stay there. We spent only one night. Very nice rooms, clean and modern. Breakfast was great.
The only thing that we were unthrilled about was the parking. They have a few reserved parking spots, so if you don't book before you arrive, they have a second parking spot that was quite far (about 800m or more). We ended up paying 2 euro for a parking outside the hotel on the street since we returned late to the hotel that day and didn't want to walk that far by foot with a 5 year old. It is free from 22pm until 8am.
Also the elevator did not work, they took our lugages up to the room and down when we checked out.
Best thing is the location. 5 min walking to the center.
Overall very nice hotel.

Modern hotel easy walking into town

Great hotel, modern rooms,really good breakfast, hotel staff were very helpful and it was minutes from The town. Also they had vouchers for 10% for a couple of restaurants they partnered with which were highly rated on trip advisor. During our Two night stay we ate in one and the food was excellent. Would stay there again.

Hotel Villa Anthea is conveniently located with the lake front ,bus station and jetty only 5 minutes walk . The staff is very professional with a helpful flexible attitude and an obvious desire to make their guests comfortable and relaxed.They serve an excellent breakfast with regular replenishing of hot food and a variety of meats fruit and cakes including an appealing selection of pastries. We can recommend Villa Anthea unreservedly to any traveller who sets a high standard of cleanliness comfort and hospitality. My wife Kim considers that Hotel Villa Anthea is not only a great hotel at which to stay in Garda but is in fact a great reason in itself. to visit Garda.

Small, personal hotel. Staff really helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and constantly replenished. Free excursions through the hotel. Beds a bit on the firm side but that comes down to personal preference. Location really convenient. 5 mins walk to the lake. Restaurants even closer. We loved Pegaso restaurant that had a meal deal with the hotel. Excellent value and the best pasta we had during our stay in Italy. 35 mins drive to Verona airport. Hope to stay again in the future.

Excellent hotel in an ideal location 5mins from lake. Breakfast choices are very good. Room was bright and airy with some very nice touches, air con quiet and needed 30+ when we arrived. Staff were very good and especially helpful when planning days out.

Small Friendly Hotel, Close to Garda Centre

From the initial greeting on arrival to the friendly arrivedercis when we left, it's hard to fault this hotel near the centre of Garda (barely 5 minutes stroll away).
The room on the 3rd floor was spotless and cleaned every day. The air conditioning which was essential with the temperature reaching 34 degrees was quiet and efficient.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was also excellent with hot and cold choices of cold meats, cheese, bacon eggs, fruit, cakes, pastries, teas and coffees.
The breakfast room was also clean and the food was always topped up.

A week away in Garda Town

Lovely clean and friendly hotel. Good choice at breakfast. Snacks and drinks cheap. Only downside would be the pool. It's small and the location of it meant only able to catch the sun for a few hours due to being in the shade from about 3ish onwards. Staff helpful and can help to arrange trips and recommend restaurants giving you a discount card. Overall very happy with our stay.

Super Hotel in a Great Location

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Villa Anthea for 5 nights (I wish it had been longer). The Hotel was spotless,the breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and attentive to any requests we had, including recommending places to eat (we were also given discount for some restaurants)and information on tours.

A small + comfortable hotel close to the lake

We spent 5 days 4 nights in Hotel Villa Anthea, Garda. The facilities were very good value, offering a clean and comfortable room, a swimming pool and very good breakfast. All the staff were very helpful.
We took a boat trip to Sirmione which was very enjoyable, but found this little town was very busy. We also walked to Bardolino which only took around 45 minutes each way - an enjoyable half day trip.
Lots of places to eat in Garda.
We found the hotel pool area allowed us the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Lovely, clean and friendly hotel close to the Lake

Staff were lovely - really friendly and helpful. We arrived at around 11.30 and were allowed into our rooms despite check in being officially at 3pm. We were also permitted to stay around poolside and given towels on day of departure as we were not flying home until some time after check out.
Fabulous selection of food at breakfast, and hotel was spotlessly clean -even the shower room by poolside.
Nicely decorated in a contemporary, fresh, simple style. Beds were comfortable, shower great (powerful) and air con was fantastic - and given the temperature was in the mid 30s most of the time this was a godsend for us.
Staff spoke very good English too, which was useful.

All in all, superb value for money - would highly recommend it.

Fantastic from check-in to check-out

This hotel was fantastic. From arrival to departure the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Our room was lovely, light and airy, had air con, a safety deposit box,free wifi, small fridge, comfy bed, good bathroom facilities and a helpful welcome booklet. The pool was a nice area to sit and relax.

The breakfast was very nice – great selection including danishes, cereal, yogurts, fruit, toast and some hot items as well. The food was kept replenished and you could help yourself to this and a variety of drink options.

The location of the hotel is ideal – a short walk from the main town, restaurants and lake. It is worth asking about local restaurants as the hotel can provide discount vouchers and recommendations.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, has a lovely feel to it and in fact the photo’s online don’t do it justice. I would 110% recommend this hotel.

Ystävällinen henkilökunta loistavalla sijainnilla.

Huone on riittävä mutta toki vaatimattomasti sisustettu. Hotellin henkilökunta on palvelualtis ja ystävällinen.
Pysäköinti edellyttää kaupunkilaista ajotaitoa. Tämä on juuri sen verran rannasta että on rauhallista nukkua mutta niin lähellä että sinne pääsee nauttimaan aamu- päivä- ja iltakävelystä. Rantaan kävelee 5minuuttia. Ravintoloita on on kymmenittäin ja kylä rantoineen todella kaunis. Aamiainen riittävä, Italialaiseksi suorastaan runsas. Onnistunut valinta.

ett mycket trevligt familjehotell

Ett mycket trevligt hotell, med bra frukost buff'e, rent och bra på alla vis.
En pool gör inte upplevelsen sämre, och att baren levererar drinkar på poolkanten är ett trevligt drag. Att personalens glada attityd är alltid ett stort plus. Har bott på flera olika hotell i Garda genom åren men Villa Anthea är hittills det trevligaste och bästa till ett bra pris.

Traumhafte Tage in Garda

Es ist ein kleines, sehr schönes Hotel. Unser Zimmer befand sich im dritten Stock und war sehr klein, jedoch zweckmäßig eingerichtet was das ganze wieder ausgeglichen hat. Das Personal war ausnehmend freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Am Frühstücksbuffet ist wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, für italienische Verhältnisse außerordentlich reichhaltig.

Garda est une ville très bien situėe sur le Lac, agréable et l’Hôtel est à courte distance du débarcadère des traversiers. Accueil agréable et courtois. Chambre confortable, propre et tranquille. Sehr Hundefreundlich und super sauber. Tolles Personal. Tolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Parkplatz am Hotel. Sehr neu eingerichtet mit deutschen Fernsehsendern.
