My stay at the Morgan was not one I loved nor will I stay there again. When we first arrived Iris was condescending and wasn’t pleasant at all. Upon entrance into the room yellow liquid was in the shower which shows it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The keurig in our room wasn’t working. I requested tea which was never given to me. The stay was not pleasant. Overpriced and under luxury. The amount you pay the staff could do a better job at making you feel welcomed.

She was incredibly friendly, answered all of our questions, and made sure we knew where everything was and what places were worth visiting. Her helpful attitude and warm welcome made our stay even more enjoyable. Excellent customer service like hers makes all the difference. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

I am writing to formally complain about the extremely disappointing experience I had during my recent stay at The Morgan Resort.

From the moment we arrived, the service was unacceptable. Despite arriving well before check-in, we were not provided with our room until after 6:00 PM. To compensate for this inconvenience, your staff offered us what was described as a complimentary lunch. However, this was not complimentary at all, as we later discovered that we had been charged for it.

The room we were assigned was of a very poor standard, and when we requested a better room, we were simply told that no other rooms were available. No effort was made to resolve the issue or improve our stay.

During the trip, I became ill and requested hot water and lemon. Rather than showing basic hospitality and care towards an unwell guest, the hotel repeatedly charged room service fees each time we requested hot water. I found this both unreasonable and disappointing.

To make matters worse, my credit card was charged without my consent or authorization. Several charges appeared on my account, including items that had supposedly been provided as goodwill gestures due to the issues we experienced upon check-in. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding your billing practices.

Throughout our stay, the staff were neither helpful nor welcoming. In many cases they came across as rude and dismissive, making an already poor experience even worse.

I would highly recommend this resort. The property was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. While the food on-site was a bit expensive, it was delicious. We chose to dine at local restaurants most evenings and enjoyed exploring the area.

The only drawback was the lack of direct beach access from the back of the property. Guests need to take a short walk to a nearby public beach, which tended to be quite crowded on most days. Overall, however, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful property, in an amazing location. However there were a few things that rubbed me the wrong way while staying at this resort. Shuttle communication from the airport was not clear and took a while for pick up. Upon arrival majority of staff were very pleasant and welcoming however there were a handful that had terrible attitudes and customer service, trinity at the front desk being the main one. Her lack of professionalism really tainted my first impression. I do want to highlight Taj who was extremely helpful and polite. The room wasn’t as clean as I expected, dust and debris throughout room and bathroom. Also my room didn’t have any face towels, I did receive some after I inquired. For the amount you pay to stay here I overall just expected better.

Life changing vacation in St Maarten. Hotel was dreamy and breathtaking. The staff was very customer focused, pleasant, personable. Trinity was very accommodating and made our anniversary feel very special with balcony ocean pool views and complimentary drinks and champagne. The property is new, spotless, and well kept. Great for pictures. The barbecue pit it the back was excellent. We had the ribs and the chicken. Both were falling off the bone. I recommend this property to every. I did not wanna leave.

Michelle, Hotel Manager was great at check in . Even sent me a Happy Birthday bottle to the room . Very much appreciated. Carlos was a great host on the walk in and throughout the trip . Pool staff was great . Kamesha, Aailyah, and the supervisor were very attentive and fast service . The room service staff / kitchen were amazing . I will definitely be back.

A safe place for the solo travelers hands down….I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Morgan Resort in St. Maarten. From the quick and easy check-in to the convenient location near both the beach and the maho strip, everything was seamless. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, from the front desk and housekeeping to the team out front. Luke and Ravi were especially pleasant and gave some clutch recommendations for places to try during my stay. Charles, omg such a kind spirit. The room was spotless, the view was gorgeous, and the entire property was always beautifully maintained. A special shoutout as well to the lovely bartender at the pool bar who always wore a skirt, she was so sweet! Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Everything about this resort was great! From the people to the food and the drinks I couldn’t ask for better service. The only thing I have to say was the bed in the room felt really damp, I’m guessing because of the humidity and it had a smell to it that I couldn’t really describe but it wasn’t all that bad. Some of the lounge chairs at the pool needed to be cleaned or replaced but other than those two things we really enjoyed our stay there and will be back to St. Maarten.

I had a great time here. The staff was VERY friendly the food was good and the rooms are clean AND spacious. Most impress by the friendliness and care from the staff. From the bellman to the front desk everyone was SO NICE! Nyelle, Taj, Luke, Kiwani, Devin, my one bellman who so caring as I injured my are before coming. He checked on me each time he saw me and made I was applying my Aloe Vera on my wound. All the others that I cant remember your names I am so SORRY! My pool attendants that was there everyday who I swear doesn't get a day off lol who remembered that I like the spicy barbecue wings :) Overall great property. Pool is awesome short walk to the beach but still nice. Close to everything and its a 2 min ride to the airport if that :) Will most definitely be back!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – DO NOT STAY HERE!

I would give this resort 0 stars if I could. From the moment we arrived, the experience was unacceptable. The towels had holes in them, and the bed sheets and pillowcases smelled terrible. The odor throughout the room was so bad that it made our stay extremely uncomfortable.

The final straw was when the front desk called a cab for us and provided the driver with the wrong ferry destination. As a result, we missed our ferry and lost money in ferry costs, plus for the cab ride. When I brought the issue to the staff’s attention, they refused to take any responsibility, even though their front desk arranged the transportation and gave the incorrect information.

The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and refusal to address a mistake that cost us both time and money made this one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had. I will be pursuing this matter further and would not recommend this resort to anyone.

The Morgan offer a complimentary shuttle directly from the airport, which was a seamless and welcome touch after traveling.

Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we were greeted with complimentary welcome drinks. We arrived a little earlier than standard check-in time and they were still able to get us into our room. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the trip.

The resort doesn’t have its own beach, but honestly it’s a non-issue. Maho Beach is a literal one-minute walk away. The real draw on property is the infinity pool and swim-up bar, which we spent a lot of time enjoying. The views are beautiful and the atmosphere around the pool is exactly what you want from a Caribbean resort.

The Maho location is a major a major plus. You’re close to everything, nightlife, live music, restaurants. Whether you want a laid-back evening with some live music or want to go out and have a proper night, and even casino vibes. Overall excellent stay for celebrating our anniversary

My stay at The Morgan Resort was absolutely amazing! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were always spotless, and the views were incredible. What truly made this experience special was the staff. The housekeeping team was wonderful, many of them spoke French and Haitian Creole, which made me feel right at home. They were kind, welcoming, hardworking, and always ready to help. The drivers were also top-tier: friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting St. Maarten!

The room was clean and we were able to check in a bit early. The location was perfect and close to shopping and dining. The only issue was the no sidewalk to get there. Just be extra careful because you are sharing the road with vehicles. Everyone was accommodating and helpful which was well received. There is only 1 elevator for 5 floors so keep that in mind. I would come back here and stay. We loved SALT and dined here for lunch and breakfast.

We had an awesome stay at the Morgan Resort. I was celebrating my birthday and they decorated the room at my husband’s request. The cake and Prosecco were ready for consumption upon our arrival. The staff was pleasant each time we interacted with them. Carlos, Daven and the rest of the valet team were very attentive.

We had a wonderful stay at the Morgan and we will definitely return to the island in the future.

All I can say is, if you’re going to St. Maarten, get an Airbnb. You’ll save a lot of money. This resort is ridiculously expensive for no reason. We booked a beach view but had more of the pool and above the bar restaurant, which got a bit noisy at times, but pleasant some nights as we listened to performers from our balcony. Transportation was easy to get but pricey. Recommend keeping cash. St. Maarten has become one of my favorite islands and will definitely visit again as there's so much to do we didnt get a chance to do them all during our 5 days stay.

I arrived at the airport around 2pm. Our check in was at 4pm therefore we gave them time to get our room situated. The other people that arrived after us were checked into our room before us. My friends bought the $200 birthday package for me and the decorations didn’t satisfy my expectations versus what I see on social media. Some of the staff members were rude but Marten and Charles made our experience 10x better their hospitality was amazing. The service was kind of slow.. we just wanted towels and trash bags to switch out our trash and they were trying to make us wait until room service but we didn’t want room service. Maybe they were short staffed during this slow season.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and had such a relaxing atmosphere. Every staff member we encountered was extremely pleasant, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

A special shoutout to Carlos for giving us such a warm welcome with drinks upon arrival. He took the time to explain the room, hotel amenities, and what to expect from both the resort and the surrounding area, which made us feel comfortable and excited right away. Also special shoutout to everyone working valet from May 14 to May 19. They were extremely friendly and made each experience hassle free. The hospitality from everyone at the hotel made the experience even more memorable.

We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

I had a great time. I love the Morgan Spa Resort. I traveled to St. Maarten this past weekend for the first time and plan on returning. I don't even want to visit a different hotel. I'm just stuck on the Morgan. The food was delicious and pricey but that was expected.

My room was very nice and clean. The views from every different angle were amazing! This was the first time visiting St. Maarten and I'm in love. I enjoyed and will return very soon.

The Morgan Spa Hotel stole my heart.

Would NOT recommend. My husband and i stayed at the Morgan for our honeymoon for 5 days. I have to be honest, we were so disappointed. Our very first interaction with front desk staff member was poor. I’m assuming she had a frustrating day but she certainly took it out on us. Didn’t greet us, told us nothing about the property, she just slid us the room key barely said anything and that was it. And the very little she said was snarky and just rude. Second interaction, a bartender was incredibly condescending and rude. He act like we were a bother to him. This took away our initial excitement about the property. We travel often, stay at many hotels, this was by far the worst costumer service we experienced from staff . Out of all of them, we had ONE super kind, waitress one morning at the pool. The rooms are outdated, and not maintained well. The bedding is cheap, thin , rough and mattress is uncomfortable. So you’ll freeze if you don’t have a comforter of your own. They charge for every little thing, with terrible service, that can be aggravating. For example, room service, there’s a service charge + the items + a charge per person. Overall 4/10. Beautiful view / pool area. That was the best part. But overall, they value money over customer experience, it’s so obvious. We were so disappointed and wish we booked an air bnb or another property.

From the time we were picked up from the airport from Devin, it was an amazing experience. He was friendly, made us laugh and very pleasant. We stayed 5 nights and everyone we meet that worked at the resort was extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly.
To name some of the people Valerie, Sabrina, Niko, Allia, Ashley, Winston and many more, but I can’t remember their names. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Every item we ordered was delicious. Mahi-mahi, vegetables, fish tacos, the salad with fresh vegetables and fruit and they desserts were just amazing.

Was so good in February, I had to come back for carnival!!! Many food choices and a grocery store in waking distance. The staff are helpful and friendly so check your own energy first to keep the vibes up. Speaking of vibes, the pool vibes are just what you're looking for; aestetically awesome, food was delicious for breakfast and lunch and Nico!!!! I really enjoyed the bingo and blackjack vibes. The Morgan is a low end, scammy hotel. When we arrived we were told the room was not available and were not able to check in until 6pm, at which point we were told the room we had booked was not available. We were told we would have to move to a smaller room for one night until our original room became available. After asking to speak to a manager, they 'kindly' offered to refund the difference, nothing else for the late check in, the incovenience of moving, or the fact we were in a room we did not choose to be in. The following day, when we were supposed to move rooms, our room was still not available but we were told we had to be out of the current room we were in and to store our bags in the lobby until it was available. We had to do all this ourselves, no help was offered by the staff. When we complained to the manager, he said the best he could do was refund the difference in the room which was $450, but checked my account after the visit and of course they had not refunded the amount so now I have to take it up. Generally the staff was pretty rude and any issues you had were an imposition. We had one member of our group that came back to his room in the evening to find the room was locked and was told by the front desk to 'go sleep in one of your friends room'. Another had no AC for the whole trip, and another came back to the hotel one night and his door was wide open. Don't stay here. Its an unprofessional scammy place, any other hotel is better value.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Morgan Resort & Spa. The resort is beautiful, modern, spotless, and truly luxurious. The pool area is especially amazing, with gorgeous views and such a relaxing atmosphere.
A special thank you to Nyell at check-in, who truly made our stay extra special with such a warm and welcoming attitude. Luke from driving services was also incredibly kind and professional. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and amazing.
We loved everything about our stay and certainly will be back! Highly recommend this beautiful resort to anyone visiting St. Maarten.
