I usually stay at one of the big casinos but all were full with a big convention in town. I liked this property as you don't have to walk through a casino to get to your room but it is across the parking lot from the Silverton. The Silverton is a nice casino with adequit gaming, restaurants and a sports book. Good access to the freeway and the airport. I will stay there again.

Clean, big room with everything we needed to cook. Check out time is a little early. (10:00)
Elevators are slow and staff uses same elevators which makes them very crowded.
Need more ice machines or at least ice cube trays in the room, going down 18 floors for ice with a slow elevator is a little annoying.

The rooms were good. They shut the water off on one day. The only elevator working was so crowded you had to wait a few times for it to go up and down just so there was enough room to get on. The other ones were broken all week. The water pipes next to our room were so loud it woke you up. I had to make contact with the staff three times just to get fresh towels. Other than that it was okay.

There were bags full of dirty towels and beddings and towels along with an empty pizza box sitting in the hallway between the two rooms. It took two calls and 2 plus hours after the second call for the bags to be picked up. The bedroom clock, and phones had a layer of dust. The toiletries were half used. I do noy recommend this hotel.

Everything was good except check in girl that helped has a very bad attitude lied and said there was no rooms avaliable on the 14 th floor my son was checking in also next to me at the same time and they gave him a room on the 14 th floor right when i asked then the room i was in the shower was backing up there was about 2-3 inches of water not draining and the ironing board legs were broken i needed to iron

I really enjoyed my stay at the Berkeley. Very quiet. The only complaint I have is the elevators were real slow and the cleaning staff used same elevator which delayed them even more.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!!

When we arrived, the attendant at the parking permit desk pushed a timeshare promo after being told we weren't interested.

The room needed a sweep and the latch to the pocket door was quite loose. Also, our door keys were somehow deactivated during our stay. As one of the three elevators was not running, there was a line that I was told would be gone \"in an hour or two. I had already used the stairs to head to the front desk since I couldn't get on at our floor due to the volume of check ins. I took the stairs back up to our floor/room to let us all back into our room.

To top it off, the website for which I was sent a link did not have checkout available as described, so while my family took an elevator down after a 20 minute wait, I took the stairs one last time to drop off the keys.

Our first two trips had none of the above issues. I'm not sure if I'd book a stay here next time we head over.

Everything went well. Clean. Room was good, with the exception of the noisy sheets (really) and the cord to the TV not reaching the plug. We weren’t in it enough to care about that, though. Downfall was that they will push you to a timeshare presentation when you get your parking pass. They called and tried to sell us when we arrived. We’re already part owners another way through RCI, and since they’re not “affiliated,” they still offered again. Those trying to sell were honestly only nice until we turned them down.

Elevators were super slow, one was broken down.No extra TP, not enough towels in the room. Customer service acted like it was a huge inconvenience when we needed something. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for 7 of us, we were put into 2 different 1 bedroom units and also customer service acted like we were in the wrong when we booked it that way. We had to turn in ID to take the luggage carts. I got 2 with one ID when we checked in, checking out the guy wouldn’t let us have 2 unless we had 2 ID’s. No compensation was offered for not having our room. We would love to stay here again, it’s an amazing location, very quiet, smelled amazing, had great security.

We purchased food upon arrival and the refrigerator was not functioning properly and it took 2 days before they sent another refrigerator to the room. Also, one elevator was broken the entire 5 day stay and the other two elevators were constantly full of people. We stayed on the top floor, but every time an elevator arrived it was full. We missed an event because, we had to wait 36 minutes for an elevator and at that time, we still could not get on, so because we didn’t want to drag our items down 18 flights of stairs, we decided to cancel our event. I have stayed at the Berkeley numerous times and this is the first time I did not enjoy myself.

The hotel, amenities and location were great. There were only two elevators for 18 floors of rooms! Typically only three elevators. 20 minutes or more to wait for an elevator. Had to take the stairs twice and they take you outside the building! Spoke with desk staff and he could care less. Told me that because I booked with Expedia, there was nothing they could do. Unacceptable.

Great stay! I like staying here because it’s close to the Strip but lets you save on resort fees. Not only is the space and location great, but every staff member is very kind. It’s also in a convenient area with plenty of food and stores nearby. Whenever I come to Vegas for more than 24 hours, I choose to stay here—it’s always a great experience.

Better elevators system. possibly service elevators for staff as the staff are using regular elevator to get to other floors.

One of the elevators was broken and there was a huge line waiting to go to our floors. when there's a huge line and staff are trying to go up/down to the floors, without service elevator it will cost major delay when cleaning rooms. I just felt bad for the staff that they are trying to work but can't.

Little early check out compare to other hotels and also late check in. I am used to checking in by 3pm but this one is at 4pm and checking out usually 11 or 12pm but this one is at 10am.

Had a little incident from previous stay, was hoping this time around would make up for it. Felt like it got worst. might not come back or recommended.

Everything was great at the resort except the elevators. There are three elevators, and only two were somewhat working. I went to get coffee in the lobby the first morning we were there. We were on the 10th floor, and I pressed the button for the 1st floor, and it got as far as the second, it stopped, the doors opened, and there was nobody getting on. Then from there it took me back up to the 11th floor, while shaking real bad as it was stopping at the different floors. I finally got out on the 6th floor, pressed floor number one again, but exited the elevator, and sent it on its way. I proceeded to press the button to go down, by then the other elevator showed up, and I got in that one, finally making it to the lobby.

Not a very good thing when 2 of the 3 elevators are not working.

During hotel check-in, which normally takes less than five minutes, the staff member assisting me held my driver’s license for more than 30 minutes without giving any explanation. He kept staring at the computer, moving back and forth between stations, and made me feel as if I were being treated suspiciously.

He had already confirmed my name in the system, and I also showed him my reservation confirmation and the email from Expedia showing that the room had already been paid for. However, he continued looking at the computer without explaining anything to me, and his facial expressions and attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

This was my first experience of this kind at a hotel. I arrived in a good mood, but his attitude made the check-in experience very unpleasant, and I did not receive any apology.

Clean, well kept resort. Fantastic layout for an extended stay. The staff all seemed to be very accommodating and friendly as well. The only drawback was the 3 elevator system with no internal stairs option. It would be great if there was a card reader option to access the stairwells from the outside, to eliminate the reliance on the elevators.

The staff, one young lady in particular, Sabrina was very, kind, friendly and very helpful. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable speaking to her. The room was clean and the amenities were more than expected which made us feel so much at home. A home away from home and to be honest I didn't want to leave. My stay was so peaceful and relaxing, but I will be back.

After checking in, the front desk directed me to another desk across the lobby to get a parking pass, which I found odd. While getting the pass, I was also given sales promotions for a timeshare. This hotel is owned by Vacatia. Parking is shared with Bass Pro Shop and is free anyway.
Our first room smelled strongly of cigarettes, so we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get into the new room and maintenance had to change the lock and rekey the door.
Overall, the rooms are in need of updates. The furniture was dirty, and the wall and ceiling near the air vent in the bedroom were filthy. The bathroom fan was also not working. Buyer beware!

Also, there was a problem with Expedia not sending The Berkley my booking, and The Berkley thought I was trying to pull something; I got it worked out. I didn't realize this was a do-it-yourself type of hotel - I had a lot of baggage, and no one helped me – female 64 YO. Loved the layout of the suite on the 18th floor. Nice and quiet, slept like a baby.
