Raquel
Great property. Small location, which has a great personal touch. Staff were fantastic!
Amber
I enjoyed having the space and being a lil off the strip. But also in walking distance from MGM.
Brekner
Pasamos un buen fin de semana. Muy buena atención con cualquier inconveniente.
cristina
Love it. Had been a few years since my last visit and found it to be great. Favorite part is that it is so close to the strip.
Daniel
Location is close to everything on the strip. Rooms are well set out with plenty of room to move around.
Amy
Very comfortable room with plenty of space to stretch out and relax.
Enjoyed the small pool (which did get really busy at night) and the location with respect to the Strip.
Property has a sort of odd layout so all our windows overlooked other parts of the building or parking lot but it was still nice and quiet in the room.
Was offered a time share presentation but didn't feel like a hard sell and was able to politely decline.
Nice that there was free parking on site!

This is our go to every time we visit Las Vegas... close enough to the Strip but nice and quiet compared to most of the hotels on the Strip!
Taylor
The property was clean and the service was amazing. Also food was so good and fresh. Loved that they had activities going on all day as well.
Francesca
Clean spacious room and kitchen very nice pool area
Eduardo
The room is spacious, bed and pillows are OK, sofa bed is better than most. I didnt like that there was too much noise from the unit above us, the floor for them / ceiling for us did all kind of noises when they walked, so it felt like someone was waking right next to you when you were trying to sleep. Microwave was out of commission too. Overall the place is OK but they should try to insulate the rooms better for noise.
Erick
I love this place every time i go to vegas! Its my preferred stay.
Timothy
Water got shut off for majority of a day and lost TV for entire day. And of course on the day I was in room
Chris
………………………………………………………………… Great
Hazel
Fantastic stay
Mei Hung
air condition in the room is very loud.
Sherry Ann
Everything and everyone was awesome
Lindsay
Super close with out being right on the strip. Very handicapped accessible. My handicapped mother and I got a two room suite and it was very nice. If I ever return to Las Vegas I will be picking this resort again!
Denise Anne
Injured my leg on a piece of the bedframe that was sticking out. Staff agreed it should not have been there. At first they wanted to give me $50 to spend on site, I refused saying I would not have used it They offered $100 to be spent. Again, I said no I would have no need for it They offered to comp me one night which was better but i am still not happy with the resolution. The injury effected the rest of my trip, which included walking around Vegas and attending 2 more concerts. I did to go to an Urgent Care to have the wound cleaned out. I asked the staff at the hotel if they needed a copy of my bill for them to cover it. They said no, they would submit it to their insurance. I am not sure how they know what to submit and it's cost without discharge papers in hand. Super frustrating. The bathroom floor was dirty in the corners, looked like someone mopped the main area but skipped the corners/up against the walls. My brand new socks were so dirty from walking across the carpet. The window to my room was halfway off the frame and made for a noisy night until they gad to come in and fix the bed. Then I pointed oit the window and they fixed that too. I stayed with Desert Rose 5 years ago. I was disappointed this visit. I am not usually this vocal but the injury and what they did to help offset was not nearly enough to cover how the rest of my trip was effected. I have been home over a week and my leg still had an open wound that still hurts, I am having to treat daily
Stephanie
Delightful. Staff was very helpful. Nice that they had small restaurant/bar. Lovely pool and hot tub. Close to airport. Easy walk to the strip. Outdoor patio balcony made sitting out with a cup of coffee in the morning very relaxing. Nice to stay when on business and you want a peaceful non-gaming Las Vegas experience with convenience and no long walks to registration and trips through casinos with more expensive food and drink choices. Would definitely stay again. Construction of the new “A”s stadium being built adjacent to one side of the property at present so just be cognizant.
Laura
Being ambushed to go to a timeshare meeting was the only disappointment with my stay.
Elizabeth
This is a great place off the strip! Not super far, quiet, and you get plenty of room. The hospitality is superb, everyone was very accommodating and went above and beyond for service. Even got free champagne at the pool! Rooms are very clean and well stocked with towels, amenities, and kitchen supplies. Bed comfy as well. This is a stay that we would do again!
Daniel Antonio
Staff were so kind and helpful
Joseph
Really clean and my favorite place to stay when I'm in Vegas
Emily
Very friendly staff and very clean!!
Renee
A short walk to the strip. Wonderful, and helpful staff. Room was clean, large and had everything you needed to have a great stay. I should mention the Roots essentials provided were fabulous and you can purchase the products at the resort.
Catarina
Would have preferred a cleaner shower.
Ranier
Great place to stay. Pretty quiet area good for families.
Kristyn
If was wonderful having a full kitchen available and everything was in good condition. I guess we timed our stay right as they were not working on the stadium next door and it was super quiet. Only negative was that they don’t tell you that they will try to get you to attend a timeshare session. We flat out said “no” and never heard about it again thank goodness. Overall it was an awesome place to stay and would absolutely stay there again!
Gina
Good place
Susan
unclear where to find breakfast, ie. meals. Take out I would call it.
MANDIRA
The resort staff was good. I am not happy with the promotional staff on the premises.
Niall
Bar prices are too expensive. not encouraged to partake in evening drinks.
Baoxiang
good
Silver
Great stay for the price. I got a full kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and bedroom, plus balcony. It felt like an apartment! It’s a little far from the strip but MGM is right down the block. Staff and room is great.
Raphy
Great location and quiet.
Dave
Everything was excellent first class accommodation at a great price.
Annemarie
Rooms were very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked if you planned to cook. The king bed was very comfortable. Full size toiletries and good water pressured
Enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
I am a picky traveler and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the stay was. Would absolutely return.
If you don’t have a car, there is a Denny’s and Steak and Shake within walking distance plus a liquor store.
Off the strip so very quiet. Family-focused.
Consider adding a recycling bin in the kitchen for cans and bottles. Hated to use the trash for everything.

Andrew
Kitchen adequately equipped. Friendly, responsive staff.
Keith Joseph
The staff was so great, very attentive and food and drinks were delicious!!! Elizabeth and her coworkers at the restaurant bar and activity director were most excellent and made us feel welcomed and appreciated!! Give them the perks because I can’t remember all of their names but they were SO GREAT!!
Domonique Michael

Great stay!
J.
I loved this Hotel. We booked a suite with a kitchenette as we were gathering with my siblings for an annual visit. We wanted to cook and share meals together, and this place was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped, the table sized right, the room clean, the beds comfortable.
But the staff...oh the staff. EXCEPTIONAL. I don't have enough good things to say. Friendly. Playful. Helpful. I run the Guest Service area of a large retailer and have been in customer service most of my 40+ years working---I would be honored to have any of them in my employ.
This resort is a hidden gem. I've stayed at countless places in Vegas over the years. This may be my all time favorite.

Pleasant surprise.
Jeff
Large suites. Quiet. Staff were great!
Scott
Surprisingly large and nice for the price
Catherine
This was my first time staying here and I loved it! The open air walk to my room was really nice and I loved the full kitchen in my room, th Libby and pool area. It was a short walk to my conference and everyone was very nice. The only negative was the 10 am checkout time but I was able to leave my bags for a few hours while I was at my conference.
Darla
Worth the money. Very nice. Two blocks from the strip! Pleasant staff. Would definitely stay again!
Karen
Property was clean and quiet. The pool and hot tub were wonderful
Carmina
The hotel has a friendly staff. The room was great!
Simon
The room was perfect, especially with the full kitchen! We appreciated the kitchen roll and dishwasher soap already there. The whole property was spotless, and the service was fantastic. We didn’t eat there, except for one day a complimentary ice cream by the pool, and another day I was offered a complimentary glass of wine. The location is just right, as it’s so nice and quiet but close enough to the stip. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Charlotte
The stay itself was okay. The lack of amenities is the reason why.
Amy
I would definitely stay here again. This was a quick stay at the end of a trip so that we could climb in nearby Red Rock Canyon, so our goals might not be the same as others'. The room was spacious, and the staff was so nice. We used the pool, the ping pong table, the corn hole game, and ordered drinks at the bar. We walked to the strip one night, although the area around the hotel is pretty dark. The air conditioner was also really loud, but it helped drown out the noise from the people above us. Overall, it was a great stay.
Aimee
Lots of amenities and close to strip.
Michelle
Excellent staff, clean property, liked the location
Leann Jean
Great place! Location is so convenient, few minute walk to MGM Grand. Love the extra room by having a suite with a fridge, coffee maker etc. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Would definitely stay again.
Zhenbang
Nice and clean
FRANCIS
We didn't use any of the property amenities, but everything was very clean and our room was quiet every night. It was a very easy walk to the Strip and all that is offered there. I'd stay at this spot again.
Jason Peter

John
It brought back good memories of 15 years ago. Rooms need updating.
Roy
This was our 2nd stay at the Desert Rose Resort in two years, and both times were great. The room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed.
Sergei
We liked everything very much. The staff was very friendly, the room was very nice, and it had a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a full set of dishes, forks, and spoons.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and it was close to the strip (right behind the OYO hotel/casino which is right across the street from the MGM). Very walkable to New York New York, Excalibur, MGM grand etc. The room itself was great, had a living room area and a small kitchenette. For the price it's hard to beat. There is no casino which I liked. The bar has breakfast and lunch options. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, mellow place to stay in Vegas this is the spot. Great for those on business looking to stay somewhere calm.

Emma
The room was ok, but there was a shirt on the floor when I got there that wasn't mine. I had a pleasant experience upon check-in with staff, but check-out staff was rude. For the price, I would have expected better.

Best place ever
Joshua Donald
Best staff on the strip. Large rooms
Jade
Nice, spacious, clean room, friendly, and professional staff. The off the strip vibe is less crowded and rowdy and this is a nice combination of off walking distance to the strip meets practical and Not necessarily luxury, but definitely of a higher class

I dont think there was breakfast... but it did have a nice sized kitchen to cook in! The room was spacious and it felt private! The rate was great and I even had help carrying groceries ❤️ And let me tell you, i was far from my room lol. This place was worth way more than what we paid ❤️ We will stay here evrytime

Staff was good. Room clean, alittle outdated
Lori
The room was very clean. Not fancy but totally comfortable and had everything needed for a nice stay. The staff was nice. I guess it's a timeshare and I was offered a $100 voucher to sit through the presentation but declined. Overall ... so much better than staying at a casino!!! Right off the stripe so convienent location for dining, etc. Would stay there again!

Room was okay but need more lights just outside the resort. Too dark on the street away from the strip

The two bedroom suite was above satisfactory and I would recommend anyone who is staying in vegas for 5 or more days to stay at this property, not only was it affordable it had all of the comforts of home.
