The casino has a great vibe and fantastic variety of dining options. You can’t beat the location if you are a sports fan with great options like Brew Haus and Tom’s Watch. Dueling Pianos is a great time. 48th and Crepe is unique and delicious. Parking is easy and getting around this property is a breeze. Clean and comfortable. I don’t recommend self checkin or the staff with the tablets. They just aren’t as helpful. Make sure you get the MGM app.

The property was nice. The pool was a bit too shallow for our liking. The casino was fine. There was a good variety of restaurants and the dueling piano bar was a very lively spot at night! We would consider staying there again.

As a frequent Vegas visitor, I have stayed at NYNY before, but about 7 years ago. In that time, facility has gone down. Staring to look like one of the older hotels on strip. No modern updates. Old looking rooms. NO REFIGERATIOR NO MICROWAVE and was told I could have a fridge for $25.00 a day. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard from a hotel, especially of this caliber. But apparently, they are nickel and dimeing customers. I understand they want you to buy the $5.00 bottle of water in the lobby, when its $3.00 in vending machine near rooms. I take meds in morning and like cold water then and through the night. Oh yeah, I could use ice bucket, in which ice melts in about an hour. Come on people. We are in the desert. Can't I have a cold drink in my room. Must a guest buy everything in hotel to eat drink and still cant keep cold or reheat. Ridiculous. Cant even take leftover dinner to room because no way to keep cold or reheat....oh yeah, unless you rent a fridge or microwave.. STUPID!!!These two things are automatic in every hotel room I have stayed in over last 15 plus year. Bad look NYNY.... I WILL NEVER BE BACK!! UPDATE FACILITY///REMODEL NEEDED ASAP.

Not only was the room clean but I was only there for two days, they cleaned it while I was there. Most hotels are only cleaned if you’re there for more than three days. Great location for a concert at the Dolby Theater at the Park MGM. Literally across the street. Beds were also very comfortable.

First time staying here and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and updated the rooms are! The only, and I mean only one thing that was a tad disappointing was the fact that the hotel “removed all the room refrigerators” from what I discovered from an employee. It is nice to be able to refrigerate one’s leftover and items purchased while on a trip, but the hotel has its’s reasons I suppose. Other than that, the New York New York has a great fun atmosphere, which is great for families and young adults who aren’t quite old enough to gamble or drink at the bars. Lots to do here with the arcade, roller coaster and plenty of places to eat! For the price, the New York New York is an excellent deal and I’d definitely stay here again in the future!

When checking in to our room there was someone else in our room -we told them it was our room so they left -called the front desk and found out that they had been in that room and only 1/2 checked out and was waiting there for there new room -we asked for a new room which they gave us and also gave us 75.00 food credit .
Not a great way to start our vacation.
Also our room key would not work when we left the parking structure either time /had to call them.
Also not sure why the pool is not open before 10 am -not good for people who want to enjoy the pool before it gets HOT..

First time to Vegas, picked the hotel from reviews which were about right.

Hotel has a good flow and plenty of food and drink choices, but can be a little pricey.

The casino like most other ones on the strip.

Room was clean, but could have done with some storage space to put clothes.

The room has an iron/board/fridge but no microwave or kettle.

To reduce your coss, there is a supermarket about a 5 minute walk, where you can get your essentials at a cheaper cost.

This is usually my go to hotel but this time my room was in the Chrysler tower. I had no view and no natural light. I was on the third floor and my window view was some type of structure, definitely a fire hazard. Also my sink was clogged.

This hotel is super fun with lots of activities and restaurants. I was here over 10 years ago and it’s wayyyyy more expensive than it was… but that’s everywhere these days.
All of the food was great, we enjoyed the pool daily, and our son loved the arcade.
Everyone was friendly and happy.
We easily accessed other hotels from NYNY.
It was a great time!

We had problems from check in. If you use one of the third party sites, that’s exactly how they treat you like third class citizens. Don’t stay here. The Bars are nice the food is nice the Casino is nice, but stay at the MGM or Excalibur Nextdoor and walk across the bridge.

I didn't much care for SWAT showing up day 1 and 3 of the trip due to unruly and shady folks, this was unsettling.
The bathrooms were closed on Casino floor early in the morning which made it inconvenient.

We were excited to stay at the NY NY hotel. We booked a king room. We got to the hotel about 8pm and now there is only one small spot to check in which was lined up across the entrance. We decided to self check in and as we were checking in a man with an Ipad came up to us and asked us if we were checking in and that they did not have any King room available at this time due to the rooms mot being cleaned at 8pm. Isn’t check out 11am? He said i can check you in to a 2 bed room right now because the king room was going to be over an hour wait. We agreed. Another 30 min go by and still no text that our room was ready. After about an hour and a half waiting we finally get a text. The 2 room beds were so small. The American restaurant was under construction and we listened to construction during breakfast and the wait staff was slow. No drink refills and loud construction noises.
We never had a waitress come up to us on the casino floor for drinks while we spent plenty of money gambling. The long bar, ordered 2 coors light in a bottle $24. Across the bar is a little mini shop $9 for a tall can. I got better service across the street at the Excalibur. When you waited so long for your trip it’s disappointing when the Hotel fails you.

New York-New York in Las Vegas has a great vibe and energy. The hotel captures the feel of NYC really well with the skyline, atmosphere, and layout. The restaurants, bars, and entertainment options make it a fun place to stay or visit, and the location on the Strip is convenient. The rooms were comfortable, staff was friendly, and the overall experience was enjoyable. The roller coaster adds a unique touch if you’re looking for a little excitement. I booked rooms through Expedia at what seemed like a decent price, but when I arrived I was surprised with additional resort fees and parking charges that added about $300 to my total. That alone made the stay feel much more expensive than expected.

To make things worse, the room didn’t even have a refrigerator even though you could clearly see where one used to be. When I called the front desk, I was told I could get a refrigerator for an extra $25 per day. For the price I was already paying, that felt unreasonable.

Overall, what looked like a good deal ended up being much more expensive, with basic amenities not included. Pretty disappointing experience.

Staff at the front desk said it was a $25 per day fee for a mini fridge. After as much as we paid to have no mini fridge to have cold water was definitely a negative. The elevator in the Chrysler tower didn’t work properly half the time we were there. We did inform staff along with another lady and was simply told there’s nothing wrong with the elevator. Nothing was done until a lady got stuck inside.

I love the amenities there! My room was clean but I had the cleaning crew to touch up on the restroom.
My complaint is one that there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. Second, you pay extra for a room to get a strip view and all you get is the highway view. Called to change rooms and was given the third degree. I was too tired to debate so I just remained in the room.
I arrived early around 10am. Signed up for free early check in (11am-1pm). After watching others check in and gain access to their rooms, I made several attempts to get in a room also. I was told due to the view room it was not ready. I finally was allowed in around 2:40pm after approaching them for the third time!

This was our second stay in the last couple years, this trip was a little different, our first stay the bed was very comfortable, our recent stay in April, we slept in a hole in the middle of the mattress for 4 nights! I don't think we will be our last stay. On the good side, there are some good restaurants and it does seem to be clean.

This hotel is located at the southern end of the strip. It is at the intersection of the airport, the Excalibur, and the MGM Grand. Cross the pedestrian bridge over the Boulevard and go to the MGM Grand to take the Monorail, which will take you all the way to the north end of the strip; and you'll pass right next to \"the Sphere\". The Center Bar is conveniently located in the center of the casino/ground floor; and there's a pizza joint inside the hotel which offers a great, combo deal.

My room (2 beds) was clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was big. Warning: there is no mini-fridge in the room.

My biggest gripe are the elevators; every tower (i.e., set of rooms) has its own set of elevators and you can't just walk from one tower to another, So if you're going as a group, make sure that all of your rooms are in the same tower!

This was decent, but it was loud because of the roller coaster until midnight or possibly later. Additionally, the smoking part with gambling is in the middle of the hotel so challenging to avoid because of the layout. The restaurants were easy access. The crepe one was great, but the breakfast buffet was just OK.
