Casinos are all smoking so we got headaches walking through it over our multiple day stay, but the hotel was overall clean. The store/purchases staff were generally courteous, but an overall feeling of annoyance/fatigue could be felt from many of them as we tried to make polite conversation during check out processes. Room service food was fresh and wonderful.

anytime we asked a question relating to our stay we got the \"you booked through expedia so you can't do that\". It made us feel like 3rd class citizens. We paid for our stay, put money in your machines, ate the VERY expensive food in your restaurants and you can't apply our points to our bill for food charged to the room? They finally did but it was with an attitude of like it's a BIG thing and even though it was hundreds that we charged they made a big deal of tips and fees not being eligible - trust me - the food bills were multiple times the measly 60.00 . No - we won't go back

We really enjoyed our stay, a manager named Coby was extremely welcoming & went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best time & experience for our first visit to Vegas. The property was so huge. And the rooms were really clean but our room was in the south tower and we had to walk so far to get to the elevator then walk to our room. It was ok for us but you should make sure to ask for a room in the main tower if u have walking issues!
The only thing that wasn’t good for me was that they didn’t have a coffee maker in the room. And there was no where except Starbucks to get just get coffee and tea without going into a restaurant!

No coffee makers in the room. Have to order room service or go to Starbucks resort fees were more than the room cost could not use the refrigerator in the room. Ice machine was located. God knows where. Was in the old part of MGM needs a good overhaul. Rented a car the car was in poor condition. No one Ridley available to help with the car. Pool only open until 4 PM. Pay the extra money and stay at a better hotel.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean. Easy walk to the strip. My only wish is there would be a non smoking area in the gambling areas. I don’t smoke and don’t appreciate people stopping right in front of you and smoking or sitting next to you smoking. Second hand smoke is not good for people who value their health.

This is a good property for the value, but we noticed some missing pieces during our stay: there is no mirror in the room aside from the bathroom, which isn’t a huge deal but was weird not to have. There is no microwave either, but there is a small mini fridge. Lastly, the water in our shower did not drain, so we’d shower and eventually have water up to our mid calf by the time we were finished. The staff was great and the restaurants on the property were really good (luchini especially) but we got several snide comments from a few bartenders. A female bartender at the losers bar (I think that’s what it was called?) refused to serve us without ID, despite seeing us earlier in the day and ID’ing us then. There was another bartender at Whiskey down that was outright mocking us for the drinks we were getting too, saying they’re lame (we both got a classic whiskey sour to start) which wasn’t a great experience, either.

Our stay at MGM Grand was a mix of positives and frustrating experiences. Unfortunately, two people in our group had their wallets stolen, which was very upsetting. When we went to Lost & Found, the employee there told us she was on break and that no one else was available to assist us, so we would need to come back later. Given the situation, that response felt dismissive and unhelpful.

We told housekeeping in person that we did not need our room cleaned, but they still entered and partially cleaned it, which was odd. To be fair, we didn’t put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, but it was still unexpected. The thermostat was set to 65°, yet the room would not cool below 69° and felt much warmer, making it uncomfortable at times.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the property met expectations. The pool was heated and very comfortable, which we enjoyed. However, there was only one server at the pool, so service was very slow unless you walked up to the bar. Seating around the property was limited unless you were eating or gambling, which was inconvenient. The elevators frequently malfunctioned and often wouldn’t let us select our floor, forcing us to switch elevators.

The location is great, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, but overall the service and security issues made the stay disappointing.

MGM was clean, but the hidden fees for things like drinks in the fridge is ridiculously overpriced. They only ever gave us 2 toilet papers to begin with knowing we were there for 7 nights. We had to keep calling every 2 days for more toilet paper. Please supply more toilet paper. We had to use tissues when we ran out and that caused the toilet to be blocked twice.

Nothing is worth $20 watered down drinks. No matter how nice the property is no one can afford that. Pool bar charged $18 for a coke and soda, $19 for a mojito that barely had alcohol in it. $17 for 2 protein bars and a snack bag of chips at the hotel shop. Just insanity.

Everything was great until the checkout. I was hit with $600.00 in hidden fees that MGM states Expedia failed to disclose. I was charged $50.00 cable and mini bar access per room, which brings up another problem. The only reason I got a second room, was because MGM would not change a king bed to 2 queen beds, because I booked with Expedia. An extra room and unexpected charges over a $1,000.00 is enough to never use Expedia again. This is a game only Expedia and the hotel win. The traveler is left holding the bag. An excellent trip was ruined by inflexible and intractable rules. Bundling air fares with a hotel is a nightmare, because when there is a problem the customer gets screwed every time. This is a well played scam of a service.

Lies…… nothing more special in the room and the view was not amazing at all. She just tried to upsell and what a shame …… there was a blood stain on my sheet that was not mine…..

Staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean , the pillows were nice, and my socks were not black at the end of the day, woohoo!!!. The only downfall was that I wished that they had a shuttle bus between the hotel and the airport. I had to find alternative transportation to get to the hotel and airport. I would still pick the MGM to stay in again for a stay in Vegas.
