My first time in Vegas and I’m really glad I picked MGM Grand. The main reason I picked the MGM was because of the pool complex and the renovated room. We stayed on the 17th floor with a view of the Sphere. We were only in town for the 2 nights and were there to watch the No Doubt concert so I didn’t get to do as much as I would have liked to do and there was so much to choose from. The property is huge with many restaurants, bars and attractions like the Friends Experience. The location is great since you can take the LV monorail to get around the strip. Just outside you have the ABC store and Target so anything you need is within walking distance. Overall I was happy with my stay and would stay again.

Our room was amazing biggest shower ever. The staff was fantastic including room service and food was great. My only complaint was the smoking in the casino and that was terrible and nasty. For non-smokers for us to have to inhale is worst for 2nd hand non-smokers and makes me not want to even go to casino and I love gamboling and I spent a lot of money there.. Thanks for the VIP front desk young lady for checkout that was extremely nice and took great care of us. Thanks The Spiller family

The staff at the dive bar were unwelcoming and very unfriendly. It is very unfortunate that the lazy river closed so early for guests who check in at 3. By the time we got checked in found our room, got changed it was already 4:30 so we were unable to experience the lazy river because it closed so early.

The MGM Grand has beautiful pools and a great atmosphere, but unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing.

The front desk staff was rude, and our room key cards kept getting deactivated, forcing us to make multiple trips back to reception to have them reactivated. Instead of being understanding, we were met with attitude each time we asked for help.

One morning, around 6:00 a.m. on a Monday, someone from outside the hotel property was blasting karaoke through loud speakers, waking guests. It was incredibly disruptive, and it seemed like no one was able to do anything about it.

Although the rooms are designated non-smoking, after a few days our room began smelling strongly of marijuana, which appeared to be coming from neighboring rooms through the ventilation. It made the room much less comfortable and was disappointing given the hotel’s non-smoking policy.

Everything on the property is also extremely overpriced. While the pools and overall atmosphere are enjoyable, the poor customer service, repeated inconveniences, early morning noise, and marijuana smell made this stay far less enjoyable than we expected.

Bed was very uncomfortable, one night I couldn’t sleep felt as if I was sleeping on the floor.

Another note late night I didn’t sleep because a toilet noise kept running every 22 seconds. They came to try to fix it but I guess they couldn’t contact the people in the other room, but even at that didn’t communicate with me to let me know. Also you can hear people from the hallways talking.

The recent upgrades and outstanding staff make this an easy choice. Right on the monorail line and perfectly located on the strip. The room was so modern and comfortable that you could call it a suite. The bed and pillow are really nice. Everything works and it is clear that maintenance is a priority. Never seen that many elevators and they work. Restaurants and the food court are great. The sports book and entire gaming area are modern and fun. This is a large property with so many entertainment options. A wonderful show and comedy club are available. The pools are recognized as the best in Las Vegas including a lazy river. Over 6 acres of pools. So many good things going on at MGM Grand.

Everything was really on part with most other resorts with a few exceptions. My biggest complaint is the long wait at the chrck-in counter. We got there at 3:15pm and didn't finish checking in till an hour later. Besides being short-staffed in one of the slower seasons (I understand the rationale of rhis part), there are a bunch of staffs just chitchatring and laughing and going in and out of the office while there is a long line of customers waiting to check in. Call that inefficiency, or laziness, or indifference or whatever, but that was pathetic

First.. I lost a credit card in a vending machine and none of the staff was helpful or even seemed to care if I got it back.

Second.. they closed 2 pools for a private event which made the only pool very crowed. They closed the restroom that went with the private party pool and the lazy River closed their restroom at 5:00. Left all the people in the only 1 pool no where to use a bathroom other than inside the resort
Third.. prices are just ridiculous- down right rip off and then fees for everything on top of already insane prices.

We love staying at MGM because it has everything you need there- casino, pool, lazy river, so many food and restaurant options.
At check-in, hotels.com didn’t give us a confirmation number for MGM so we weren’t able to use mobile check in or use the kiosks, we had to wait in the long line for them to look up our reservation by name.
We were excited to learn we were assigned to a newer and “nicer” tower, but when we got to our room the mini fridge was filled with someone’s leftover food and drinks and the bathroom was clearly not cleaned properly. We went back to the lobby to request another room and the new room was better but the bathroom still didn’t give that 100% cleanliness feeling which makes you question everything else. We stayed in the room since we didn’t want to go to the lobby again and it was fine. Also, the TV kept having issues and would get frozen on one channel for hours and you could not adjust the channel or volume and it would randomly work again.
Besides that, the staff was helpful and nice, and all of the food options and amenities make it a place you don’t even have to leave!

I enjoyed our stay at the Grand. We stayed at a Restore room and it was great. No smell of cigarette at all. The shower was amazing. Their shower products were wonderful. Housekeeping cleaned our room everyday. However when we first got to the room, the cable TV wasn't working. I had to call for service twice. We left and when we came back it was fixed. I like the choices of sit-down and fast food places to eat. I loved that Starbucks was right there when I exited the elevator. The only thing that I think was missing, was a bigger store to buy larger size water and more selection of snack foods. They have 2 tiny quick stop stores, in case you need water or mat be a bag of chips. Other than that, I will stay there again.

Second time at this property, and first one after their major renovation. They did a fantastic job and we enjoyed the hotel with all their amenities, pools, shops, bars, restaurants and gym. The neighboring Beach Club with DJ was fun as well and as a house guest there's no admission to get in.
I stayed in many hotels on the strip over the years from budget to high-end, and if you are looking for the middle layer price tag but huge offering, then this is the goto place.

Guest Services told me they had added a $100 food/amenity credit to account and urged me to use it.
When checking out, no credit appeared, so I spent -$85 on a breakfast and beverages thinking they’d be covered. They weee nit6.
This feels like an oversight and I’m poorer for it.

Good location and the staff were friendly. The biggest thing for us was that we couldn't escape the smell of cigarette smoke. Even though we were on the 14th floor, the room still smelled of smoke. Maybe all hotels are like that. I also feel like you're trapped into overpaying for everything, and the $ 50-per-day resort fee seems to be just another way of squeezing you for extra money. If I was to go back, I'm not sure I would stay there again.

We were in one of the new upgraded rooms. It was very beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. Pillows are plenty and blankets are very bushy and the mattresses super cozy.

We had a lovely dinner at Morimoto- 10 star experience and the food was amazing

Pool has plenty of chairs, not enough shaded seating, but plenty of loungers

Lunch at the pool was delicious. We had a burger and fries.

Drinks are pricey, but the pour was pretty substantial and for non-drinkers like me lots of ice and water available, including garnish in your water if you ask

This is one of our favorite MGM properties to stay at.

We stayed in a suite, and it was absolutely beautiful! The pool was also very nice and well maintained. Our room was cleaned every day, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
We ordered room service several times, and the experience was excellent. The food always arrived within 30 to 40 minutes, and everything we ordered was delicious.

We stayed specifically for the lazy river and it was closed for maintenance. No one told us when we arrived. The pools feel like holiday inn. Definitely not what I paid premium price for. We used their self check in and it never texted us when the room was ready. So we waited longer than should have and had to wait in line to get it resolved. Hotel beds don’t have a fitted sheet, just a flat sheet that moves as you sleep. I was grossed out by touching the mattress that had stains. Bathroom door didn’t lock. The arcade kiosk took my money but the players card wouldn’t work and no staff was present. The place was decently clean, nothing special. I’ve stayed in Vegas over a dozen times and this was the worst experience.

Check-in & Checkout was horrible... when checking in.. the wait is ridiculous, only 3 agents working the counter with vacant check in stations. When checking out, all three methods, Qr, tv & in front of check-in kiosk didn't work. MOST workers didn't give Good information answers on misc subjects each had conflicting answers. Arrival date we learned lazy river was closed, the Whole reason we drove 3 hours to stay there. I even talked to pool staff the day before & no mention of lazy river being down. We were told we could use the Mandalay Bay lazy river since theyre affiliated... then someone else said, yes for but you'll need to pay a fee.. then we called Mandalay Bay to confirm & they said, Not unless you pay the fee for each person. We also kept getting harassed by Vendors in front of stores inside the MGM trying to lure you in And through the tunnel into & out of the casino, people BUGGING you EVERY TIME you walked past, making you feel like they're Giving you complimentary things but you have to first pay them a fee then you'll get X-Amount of things for a show & food! It was annoying. While they did say they're giving us money credited off our stay for the inconvenience.. we'll see if they do. Hopefully that & the large Security Deposit, which was never disclosed upon reserving the room online, they charged our card!! We do not plan on returning.

Our stay got off to a bad start. There was a long line of people waiting to check in around 3 pm, and there were only two people available to help. They didn't seem to be in any rush and took a short break after each client was served. We were in line about 40 minutes. Once it was our turn, the service was efficient but not especially friendly.

We were in the Studio Tower, which was apparently recently upgraded. Our room wasn't very large but it was quite nice and had a comfortable bed and comfortable seating. The walk-in shower was quite nice. We don't gamble and we didn't dine at MGM Grand, so I can't speak to that.

We chose this hotel primarily because of the \"lazy river\" on the property. We used it one day, and it was fun, but then it was closed for the remainder of our stay. Not sure why.

Three of us went for 3 nights and reserved 2 rooms. We are 50s 60s and 70s for ages.
We yravel aloy and try to never give sour reviews.
But this stay was EH. At most.
There is no coffee in room. No room service. Resort fees and tax are high considering all the days we were there, June 16th 17th and 18th, we left the 19th 2026
It was 109 everyday which we love, but the lazy river was not even open.
The pool was nice and plenty of seats were available. All the cabanas were sold out though.
There are used bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soaps.
I understand being environmentally kind but for what we paid a personal size unopened would have been nice.
We used the food court a few times , great food there. But for a cafeteria style, two people with water or soda and two meals was always over $50.
We went to Emeralds and wolf Gang pucks and had great meals.
Machines in the casino paid a little here and there. Nothing to be excited about.
And last there was a mini bar charge to our room that we never used.
All in all just so so.
Almost disappointing.

The lazy river was closed. No notices were given ahead of time. The phone in the hotel room didn’t work, missing light in the bathroom. Texts to mobile concierge were also unreturned. Mobile check-in check out both did not work. They said it does not work for third-party reservations. You must book directly through Marriott. Unable to add Marriott Bonvoy number to my reservation at front desk because I did not book directly from Marriott.
The staff did not seem like they wanted to work there and we’re very complacent.

Good experience over all but They scam you with their beverages and chips and jerky in thr room... I moved them so the kids wouldn't eat them as I know they're expensive then when I went to checkout I was charged for them even though I placed them back upon trying to leave.... like 15 dollar can of stale Pringles, and 25 dollar beef jerky and 18 for a smart water you can buy at the dollar store for 2 to 3 bucks max. Otherwise great experience. Pools were not too crowded. Place was overall clean and well kept. Staff was overall kind and helpful.
