This was a great disappointment. Only 1 elevator worked for 5 days and there was no signs of any attempt to work on the 2nd. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room, actually, not even a paper cup. The shower shot water straight out of the side, soaking everything across the room. The toilet seat wasn't even connected to the toilet. I asked a security guard at the booth a question, twice, and he literally just stared at me saying nothing! There was music playing at the pool area that was so loud it made the table shake, and the pool hours were only 10 am to 6 pm!! The worse part was trying to take the stairs... not clearly marked at all! If there was a fire... people would die for lack of clear directions of how to get out of the building!

The property is obviously older and in need of renovation. The beds are very uncomfortable. The bathtub needs re-glazing or replacing-it looks dirty! Our stay was for 5 days but we still had to request clean towels and toilet paper. After requesting clean linens and room cleaning the beds weren't touched because a sweater was left on the bed. The pool area was the best feature. There are very minimal food options in or near the hotel.

Our stay at the OYO hotel was a disaster from the moment we pulled up. We wanted a place with a pool to enjoy and a clean and comfortable room. The pool closed at 6 PM. Why? No idea. they would not keep it open any longer than that, even though check-in was not until 4pm.
We had booked two rooms and requested those to be adjoining as we were traveling with young children. We were told there were no adjoining rooms available even though there was no one there. The parking lot could not have been 10% full. No one was in the lobby, Three people were in the casino.
They put us in two rooms on the eighth floor that were disgusting. In one of the rooms, the shower did not drain and was incredibly dirty. The other room, the shower was missing a knob and would not switch from tub to shower.
I called to get help with this and received no answer from the front desk or housekeeping or engineering. I called a dozen times with no answer. When I went down to the front desk, they moved us to two different rooms. They were slightly cleaner and the showers worked in both rooms. The sink did not drain in one of those rooms.
I don’t care how cheap it is, it’s incredibly overpriced. The staff did not care, there are no amenities. Incredibly disappointed with my decision to stay here.

2 of the 5 elevators are down, you can only get ice on the second floor, meaning that I tried 3,4,5,6. I was eaten up by bedbugs, the credit advertised wasn’t available, was told by the booth that their system was down the whole stay. The Underground Bar’s food for some reason couldn’t come out hot, even though it’s microwaved. The wait time for the micro mini cocktails is about 45 minutes after staff alerting bartender/ cocktail waitress that someone needs a drink. With the new A’s stadium going up next door, the OYO has a lot of work to do. The Steak N Shake, seems huge although very understaffed and overpriced.

I was very disappointed with my stay. One of the biggest issues was that the elevator was out of service for the majority of my visit, and my room was on the 17th floor. Traveling up and down that many flights of stairs was extremely difficult with asthma, especially while carrying luggage and accompanying my children.

In addition, the shower drain did not work properly, causing water to back up during every shower. The air conditioning unit was also very noisy, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

For the price paid, I expected a much more comfortable and well-maintained experience. The lack of functioning amenities and the inconvenience caused by these issues significantly impacted our stay. I would not recommend this hotel unless these problems are addressed.

I avoid writing bad reviews as I tend to be a positive, supportive person; however, I think it needs to be said. This hotel needs to close down and renovate. My bed was missing a leg, the whole place smelled awful, there was no additional security lock on the door, and having travelled all day, I was too tired to do anything about it so I suffered through an uneasy nights sleep. I would never stay there again.

Elevators were broken to my floor.. had to take 2nd elevator to floor 10 than had to walk to floor 19.. just horrible every time .. room smelt like sewer. The view of the strip was horrible this is due to the baseball stadium being built right next door.. the TV stations suck but not really staying in the room.. I was suppose to have credit for my stay since there system was down and I could not take advantage of any of the amenities or perks that were added to my booking.. I will update this comment after if the casino refunds the resort fees for the stay since how horrible it was.. they tried offering a pathetic 20$ credit if I wanted a drink for “inconvience” in the meantime.

Staff were aware of issues and just weren’t helpful, was a very stressful visit.
Parking is 10$ a day
Resort fees are about 50$ a night.
Only 1 restaurant and it’s Shake N Steak
This is the old hooters.. they had signs up everywhere and nothing was open.

The front staff tried to give me a room with only one bed when I reserved a room with 2 bed and a refrigerator and microwave. Ended up finally getting a room with the 2 beds but nothing else in the room

This is a hotel if you’re only staying one or two nights , if you want a nice stay just pay a little extra at a nicer hotel . Also have your extra 50$ resort fee ready . Parking is also not included . You have to pay 20$ a day separately a provided QR code .

They charged us extra 102 dollars in addition to the deposit fee. So it’s cheap when you book it, but it’s actually the same price as other bigger hotels because of that. Their elevators broke so often, there was only one elevator working out of 5, and we had to use stair all the time.

We checked in and had to wait an hour to get someone to help and the help we had to look for which didn’t speak any English so it was frustrating trying to explain. Then our telephone in the room didn’t even work. The whole place was a mess. Will never stay there again.

Our stay was incredibly frustrating due to the lack of working elevators and the inconsistent information provided by staff. The hotel has five elevators serving two room towers (Bay View and Ocean View), yet only one elevator was functioning in the Bay View tower and none were working in the Ocean View tower during our stay. The garage elevators were also out of service.
To make matters worse, if you used the stairs to come down from your room, you could become trapped in the stairwell because the doors remained locked from the inside. This created both an inconvenience and a safety concern.
Communication from staff was also extremely inconsistent. One employee told us our parking fees would be waived, another said they could not be waived but could be charged to our room, and a third employee stated parking could not be added to the room bill at all. It seemed that staff were not on the same page regarding hotel policies, which made resolving even simple issues unnecessarily difficult.
Overall, the lack of functioning elevators and the conflicting information from staff significantly impacted our experience.

Took over an hour to check-in, only 1 elevator was operating so it took mote than 30 minutes to get to our floor, had to take the stairs down 14 flights. No air in hallways and the air conditioner in the room sounded like a jet engine. The bed squeaked with every move. And it was poorly cleaned. It’s actually absolutely ridiculous that the may charge a $50 resort fee. It’s comical.

You get what you pay for. The water pressure to the shower was so low. Not to mention, the bath had a dirt/grime ring in it. Used shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The vent in the bathroom was caked in dust. There was a piece of wall between the door frame and shower that was lifting, clearly from water damage. The elevator was broken to the parking garage.

The hotel wasn't bad, bed and pillows comfortable. I purchased two rooms. The staff was great. One room shower didn't look as clean. No microwave or refrigerator in rooms which is crazy for the price and the resort fees. Why wouldn't there be those amenities. Staff was lovely. The only problem was the whole time I was there 4 days no elevators and the stairs at one point was locked so we couldn't walk up stairs. No refunds, credits, casino credits, ect. No anything. To me no the price was not worth it. $390 per room plus resort fees that you don't use $305 then $100 deposit for both room. He'll no we had to walk up stairs no microwave or refrigerator. We didn't use the pool. I really just paid to sleep.

The staff was very nice and helpful however, you could tell they were just exhausted. The elevators rarely worked. At one point we were stranded and couldn’t get to the lobby unless you went out the back door and walked all the way around the building. The only working ice machine was on the 19th floor and you were really gambling making the trek up there as there was no guarantee that the elevator would work to bring you back down. The pool was nice, however one life guard wouldn't let the kids do basic pool things (splashing and tossing a soft ball around). The report fee is ridiculous as nothing about this place is resort like. And charging people $25 to check in 55 mins early is just silly. Parking was also an additional fee and the elevators didn’t work in there either. The pool bar could be open up to two hours and the slushy drinks weren’t even ready (the lady bartender working the weekend was amazing though!). You definitely get what you pay for, unfortunately in this case the low price was still too much for what you get.

Lets see, where to start…. Please read this review and take it seriously. I failed to do a review when I normally always research.
1. Check-in is a nightmare, only one agent 97 % of the time
2. Elevators if they are working, most of the time only one out of three, several of us were looking for stairwells, often ending up outside having to walk all the way around.
3. Rooms: dirty, stained tables. Non-smoking but burns on the nightstand, table and sink. Bathroom: moldy, stained, unclean, floors beyond outdated but outside of that very filthy. Tub wouldn’t drain, full of hair and previous visitor debris. Toilet took a few flushes to drain bowel movements. Bed(s): Though I was sleeping on plywood, I did check for bed bugs, but even they probably don’t want to stay.
4.Eats: NONE!!! Pretty much “Steak & Shake” is all you are getting. The pool cantina opened at like 10 if the employees were on time. Not to mention the gift shop that was to open at 7 am and I didn’t see the door unlocked until around 7:30 am. Same with the only bar they had, I sat playing video Keno for over an hour at 6 am and didn’t see a bartender not once. The young lady that didn’t know much English asked if I wanted a beer, I kept telling her no and asked a couple of times where the bartender was, she replied a few times that he was on break. I asked for how long an hour… LOL she said 15 minutes, but it was several 15 minutes, I just left.

Let me start by saying the Hotel needs a serious upgrade, it was two elevators in the Bay View Tower and only one was working, with 10 floors the wait for the elevators were very very long, and no A/C in the elevator area or inside the elevator. It was horrible, one of the sinks in our room had green stains and the iron did not work, the room was clean, but the future and the decor very very old, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you are on a serious budget, the pictures on the site looks nothing like the rooms, very disappointing.

Never stay at OYO. This was one of the worst hotel experiences my family and I have ever had.

We booked three rooms for a family wedding and expected a pleasant stay. Instead, it turned into a nightmare.

At 3:00 AM, hotel security knocked on my sister’s mother-in-law’s door while she was sleeping because a credit card charge had been declined. We were shocked that this was handled in the middle of the night, especially since we believed all charges were authorized and addressed at check-in.

The customer service throughout the property was terrible. At the bar, I waited patiently to order a drink. The bartender was rude and asked, “Are you going to order or what?” When I requested a drink and then a tequila shot, he dismissively told me he couldn’t do either and spoke to me in a loud and disrespectful manner. I ended up walking away without ordering anything.

The casino staff was no better. OYO advertises a free $5 casino voucher, but they require guests to sign up for a player’s card first. Instead of politely explaining the process, staff members were rude and impatient. I even witnessed a cashier speaking harshly to another family who appeared confused about the sign-up requirements.

After receiving our player’s card, my brother, his girlfriend, and I tried to use the voucher. Rather than helping us understand how it worked, a casino attendant approached us aggressively, questioned who owned the card, and scolded us for trying to use it incorrectly. A simple explanatio

Everything was good but they need to do better about their phone system. We were on the 12th floor and then had to move to the 9th floor because the air wasn't working, however we had to come down to the Vermont desk because of the phone system being down. Not to mention there were elevators that were down as well. The staff was kind tho, and the location is in a great spot. Wish the pool area was open a little longer than 6pm. At least an adult swim from 6 to 10...its VEGAS!!

I get what i paid for and that’s a dump didn’t even have hooters open…. Just close it down and start off just like the others everything was rusty paid for a cabana and they said they don’t do that everyone was rude

Most importantly, the room was clean, but overall, this property needs some sprucing up! The carpeting in the casino is dark, dingy and worn out. Trying to leave on check out day, the elevators were not working as well as the phone! Since I couldn’t find out what was going on, I had to carry my luggage down 14 flights so I would make my flight and wound up in the back of the building in the parking lot!

This hotel hopefully gets remodeling done to it since the A’s stadium will be right next to it. The elevator was broke …still… so only 1 worked. Our room AC didn’t work, but luckily we were just moved over a few doors down. It is in a convenient location.

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of hours while waiting for our flight. The room was okay, and the mattress was comfortable. However, the carpet was very dirty, and the bathroom clearly needs much more maintenance and renovation, It looked very old, and there were a lot of hairs on the floor. Overall, the room lacked proper cleanliness and upkeep.
