If you need a hotel with stunning views and great access to the cable car, this is the place. The staff's response is immediate. For any request, their answer is YES, and then they clarify what is needed. They react promptly to minor complaints. Everything is of very high quality and pleasant. Because of this, even tipping the staff was not an issue. Water was replenished every day. The only downside I would suggest is that they should consider organizing additional wine tastings on-site.Beach view fantastic

This was the one of the best hotel stay’s that I have ever had. The concierge and front desk personnel were extremely kind and helpful. Also the location of the hotel was amazing, we were a 3 min walk from the cable car that goes into the city center. The hotel is right on the beach which is so convenient. I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was!!

Really great property and enjoyed our visit at the Mazzarò Sea Palace. Big shout out to Carmen from housekeeping that took extra good care of us and Salvatore on the beach who made things perfect! Loved the place so much! One thing I think people should know about when you travel to nice hotels in Sicily and this one in particular. They now add 15% gratuity and mention it as optional if you eat at the restaurants. Additionally, upon check out, they sum up a tip of 5 percent of total bill for a tip for all the staff. In essence you tip on top of tips. You can opt out of that or select another amount but it would be great if it was advised upfront as I’ve grown accustomed to tipping staff directly or house keeping directly. One then finds themself tipping at lunch/dinner then again having an amount pegged at end of stay by the property. They then tell you it’s optional. Not sure if the staff receives or if it goes to the top of the chain. Overall great stay but people should know about gratuity being baked in or proposed in final bill.

My wife and I just returned from a week-long stay at the Mazzaro sea Palace. We were captivated by everything about the resort, but most notably the superior quality of the staff.
To begin, the hotel is in a beautiful setting on a small, peaceful cove. Our junior suite was large, well-appointed, comfortable, and spotless. The twice-daily room service ensured that it remained that way throughout our stay. We loved our private balcony where we could read, listen to music, and just absorb our beautiful, sunny, and warm environs.
There were a couple of minor mechanical issues with equipment in our room, but those were fully rectified in but a few minutes.
The breakfast fare was varied and nutritious. The dinner menu was first class, the food delicious, wine selection excellent. We were ably assisted in planning reasonably-priced day excursions to locations of interest outside of Taormina.
By far the best part of staying at the Mazzaro Sea Palace was the superior caliber of the staff--front desk, restaurant wait staff, room keeping, pool and beach attendants, maintenance staff, concierge, and bell hops. Since we stayed a full week we were able to interact with several employees. Without a single exception, each individual employee did everything they could to ensure our comfort and best experience, doing so in an authentic and very friendly manner.

The view from this hotel is stunning! The private beach is perfect, and the bar is amazing. Room furnishings in need of update but everything else was great. Wonderful service and enjoyed very much the vintage Godfather Tour that the hotel arranged. Close walk to Isola Bella. Wonderful place to relax and to end our tour of Italy.

The property is absolutely stunning and sits on the bay of Mazzarò. The property is extremely clean and the rooms are spectacular and the view is a slice of heaven. The food is amazing and service is impressive and the people are so friendly and kind and can speak to you in many languages. It’s close to restaurants and other beaches and you can easily take a cable car called funivia that brings you to the top of Taormina where there are a plethora of restaurants, wine bars, souvenir shops and high end shops. Easy to organize tours from there or your hotel. It’s an absolute gem and would highly recommend staying.

The Mazzaro Sea Palace met and exceeded our high expectations. It's got everything you need for an amazing vacation in an amazing location. Service is impeccable in all areas from front desk to pool. Breakfast quality is superb as is the dinner selection. Of course can be expensive eating dinner in hotel compared with restaurants in Taormina.

The room we had smelled like mildew and mold , we then moved to a room that was next to the generator and it sounded as if a jet plane was taking off and finally the third room had the oldest and dirtiest carpet - it was also next to the bar and there was constant noise . Overall the wood is chipped on the wainscotting everywhere and it a very tired and old hotel falling apart Hotel . The view is beautiful snd the concierge staff excellent .

The staff were very helpful, particularly Katerina at front desk The location was very useful with the cable car across the road, as well as an ATM. The private beach area was not overcrowded. The rooms are large and well apointed with all expected amenities. The balconies are very spacious. I was grateful there was no loud music being played at the pool/on the beach.

We finished a 10-day tour of Sicily in Taormina at Mazzaro Sea Palace and it was the perfect end to our trip. The service was above and beyond, the room was the cleanest and most comfortable of our stays, and we were able to fully relax into our last few days on the island.

The hotel offers great value (for Taormina) with a prime beach location only steps from the funicular that takes you up to the town. All the rooms are sea view rooms with a terrace or balcony, unlike other hotels which charge a lot more for sea view rooms. What I liked best about the hotel was the very friendly, helpful and impossibly attractive staff. The food is also very good - I ate lunch there once and also breakfast every morning. Mazzarò will definitely be my top choice of hotel when I return (I’ve stayed in some of the other nearby hotels and think Mazzarò offers the best overall value).

The hot water in the bathroom only came from one tap and not the other. I could go on and on and on.

Recently spent an incredible 2-night stay here and I would recommend it to absolutely anyone. From the moment we arrived we received 5 star treatment and it continued through every part of the stay. The staff at check-in were so welcoming and friendly, and the free room upgrade didn't hurt either! The property is gorgeous, overlooking the bay and has everything you would want - pool right next to the beach, a private beach with comfortable chairs and towels, a beautiful bar and restaurant serving amazing food, and the kindest, most attentive service you could ask for. My girlfriend and I both agreed that it was the best hotel stay that we had ever experienced. We will be back!

Truly a luxury hotel - Beautiful facilities, top notch service and very welcoming staff. We found the rooms very quiet, clean and conveniently located to many activities. Just a short walk to the cable car which will take you to the streets of Taormina for more shopping, food and the theatre.
They offer an incredible breakfast, classy cocktail indoor area as well as elegant dinner settings. The staff was so helpful both before we got there and during our visit. The concierge arranged for transportation from the Catania airport with very clear instructions on what to expect at the airport upon arrival, travel time and price.
