Overbooked but tried their best
They were overbooked and didnt have the 3br i paid for. We did a late check in. They didnt have a reservation for me at all, but security put us in a 2br unit so we had somewhere to sleep. Unit had spiders and an outlet that didnt work. TVs are tiny. Otherwise, it was clean. Next morning, staff was nice and issued refund no problem since they couldnt accommodate. Unit was not wheelchair accessible. Had a headache getting my power chair inside to charge it. Complex was clean. Basic but clean facility

Property inside and out was very clean. The management staff were very friendly and responsive. The pool and hot tub areas were wonderful. The giant size checkers and chess were fun to play as well as look at. The location was convenient for the Heritage Center although there was a lit of road construction going on.

Stay here last year and it was terrific. This year, not so much. They couldn’t find my reservation through Expedia so we had to wait 45 min to figure out a room. The next morning, some maintenance man (I hope it was a maintenance man) walk right into our room without a knock or warning. He was just as shocked as we were and walked out. My wife proceeded open the door to make sure he at least worked there and he yelled at her “I said I was sorry”! The next day, we got home after a long day at an event to find out that our cards no longer worked. Had to walk up to the office and figure out why. No answer, just issued new keys. Lastly, the streets around the property are being repaved and widened so it’s an absolute mess and have to figure out another route to get into and out of the property (not there fault but I feel they should warn you). Other than that, place is ok.

Very clean both the accomodations and the property. The rooms are older but nicely appointed. It was easy to walk to a grocery store. Unfortunately road work was being done but other than noise, it was not a problem for our stay. The only hitch re communication was that a parking pass had to be requested and was.not provided until our stay was almost over. But there was plenty of convenient parking and no one asked for the pass. Seemed to be lots of families and a pleasant area.

We travel 2-3 weekends every month for our business, we stay in a lot of hotels. I booked this place because we needed more room this trip and the price was very very reasonable. Reviews were all great, I should have paid more attention to the not so good reviews because those are the ones that seem to be more honest or reliable. Check in was ok, not too friendly but it was late and I was tired so whatever. We entered the unit and it was pleasantly nice and clean. Fridge had stains/rust down the whole side, we weren’t going to use the kitchen much so it was too much of an issue. The downstairs bathroom was soooo small, not enough room for an adult to move. The sleeper sofa mattress was as to be expected, very thin and full of springs/metal bars, we should have brought a blow up mattress instead. None of the tvs worked. The master bedroom was spacious, but the bed was literally like sleeping on a concrete floor. It was the hardest mattress I have ever slept on in my life. The sheets were like sandpaper, extra blankets were gross and sticky. The towels, while plenty there, were so stiff and scratchy, they were awful. The twin beds were very soft and comfy, but the sheets on them were just as hard and like sandpaper as the master bed. Don’t call the parking pass number, they just send someone to try and sell you a timeshare, it was so ridiculous. The noise from the road is SOOOOO loud, we barely got any sleep between the noise, the neighbors banging on stuff, and the hard beds.

The Villa was great. Clean and very spacious. There was an issue with my reservation but they took care of it quickly and had me a villa within 15 minutes. Make sure you call them to verify your booking before you go. The hub that does the booking for them is in Daytona. It was quiet until people outside the Villa property decided at 11pm-3am to shoot off fireworks. That was a 1 night event. The villa was clean and the showers were all great walk-ins. I will definitely stay here again but not near the road next time.

Property itself was fine. Giving one star because they try to get you to buy a $6000 timeshare in a misleading way. They tell you that you need a parking pass but they don't give them out there so you have to call a number. They tell you they will send someone out the next morning to do a survey and give you the parking pass. Someone comes to your door and fills out a fake survey then starts trying to sell you an expensive time share. If you're going to solicit to customer just be up front about it.

There is an additional $9 a day that no one tells you about until you arrive. Expedia says it is just a $100 refundable deposit and all other fees are paid, but that isnt true. The kids twin beds were harder then a rock and none of the beds come with blankets on them, just sheets. It is super loud all around there and no major grocery chains for 20 mins. The place clean, which was appreciated. The office closes at night, so be prepared for that.

Love how spacious this place is! The beds were so hard though I had trouble sleeping. The place was weirdly humid. It almost felt like the pillows were damp. I didn’t smell mold though. The front office was easy to communicate with and had no issues with check in or checkout. Big notes: the entire property has no bathtubs which I did not realize and my toddler got her first unexpected shower lol… so that was interesting. Also I didn’t realize there was two floors. Not sure how I missed this detail but that’s also important to know if you have small children.

Walls are paper-thin and neighbors were so noisy. My family and I were up all night listening to other people’s televisions and screaming matches. I tried calling the front when it was happening (both nights) but no one answered to assist. We were banging on walls to try to get them to be quiet.
A screw fell out of the table bench and the leg was jiggly. The tv in the master bedroom did not work, which we tried turning on to drown out the noise of the neighbors….but no luck. There were no blankets on the beds…just old, small, scratchy blankets in the closet (none in the master bedroom and only 2 in the guest room). Fridge was old and the door didn’t close on its own so we had to keep going back to shut the fridge door. Overall, not pleasant and definitely NOT worth the price. WAY overpriced for the quality.

The girl at the desk couldn't find my reservation despite having my ID, my email address AND the confirmation number. I had to print out the confirmation email from Hotels.com and hand it to her for her to be able to help me. Not sure what she got from that email that she didn't already have. It's a good thing they had computers on site that I could use otherwise I'd have been stuck.

This property far exceeded my expectations. It was basically a well furnished two bedroom 2.5 bath condominium including washer and dryer. Close to shopping (market across the street is amazing including a huge fresh hot food buffet), etc.

Overall it was a great place. I was there for a State Championship weekend. The few things I would have liked a little different were the cleanliness of the house overall. It had a lot of dust and the floors were not very clean. It also said there were 2 sofa beds and there was only 1. That’s important to know.

As soon as we walked through the door I was obsessing about how homey it felt! The unit was adorable and I loved staying here for those few days. I could definitely see myself staying here longer for the next trip.
The location was also really nice. It was right outside the hustle and bustle of the city, and about a 30min drive from all the theme parks.

The front desk was very nice at check in and they were able to give us so much information. However, once we were in the rooms, it's almost like we didn't exist anymore.
1.We were there for 16 nights and could not get our rooms cleaned. When we requested our rooms to be cleaned, the first 2 requests were ignored, and finally after a 3rd time and running out of everything, they finally cleaned.
2.We never had access to the fitness facility or any other ammenities. Before 6am and after 6pm, we are not allowed to use them.
3. If you have to be at airport for an early flight, forget about checking out or getting a receipt? Nobody is there.
4. Getting my receipts have been a joke! I left a message with the security Guard on duty when I left for the airport with my room numbers and emails. He told me this was the process when the front desk was closed. No receipts showed up. I called a couple days later and the man that answered told me that I cannot get my receipts from the place where I stayed. So I asked him to put me through to someone who could provide receipts for my stay. He stated that they were closed and I would have to call back. I called back the next day during business hours and the person at the front desk told me that they don't give out receipts and that I would have to call a different number, she couldn't give me the number. This continued on and Jan 25th, I finally I received my receipts.

My husband's and my stay at the Villas at Fortune was very good. Location from the Orlando Airport was very convenient (20 minutes or less depending on traffic). A grocery store and Walgreens was across the street. Every thing you could possibly need was in our unit; fully equipped kitchen, washing machine/dryer, dish washer, etc. Two bedrooms/baths. Each with a TV. TV in the living room area. Dining area. Perfect location for using the Turnpike or Interstates. 5 minutes from the Osceola Fair Grounds. Only 1 minor complaint. The height of the couch in front of the living room TV was very low for us. And with the tile flooring we had difficulty getting off the couch unless you were wearing your shoes to get a \"grip\" on the floor. Definitely will return to the Villas! And highly recommend this \"resort\" with many activities available to occupants; bar b cues on Wednesdays, putting green, several pools, etc. Finally, the check-in and out process was quick, easy, with a knowledgeable staff knowing how to get to various Orlando/Kissimmee attractions/locations. Wi-Fi was free.
