The pool was fine as was parking. However, twice we went to the service desk and neither time were things resolved. The first time we asked for the tv in the small room to be fixed and were told the GM would do it, when he was back. Never happened. Second time, breakfast, went to the desk to inquire as to why apple juice was water and the female who was working (and eating - most unpleasant site, to be honest) said \"we have oj and crandberry juice\". A sign would have been a help... the room was not quite cleaned properly - under the desk in small room was trash, a table was placed behind the desk, drawer handles missing or needed to be fixed and the microwave was unplugged and sitting diagnol on a table, with a sticker on it. Not sure if it worked or not. The beds were great, heat was great and bath was great.

The room was clean and there were no issues. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Coffee was undrinkable. My main concern is the following: we decided to leave early in the morning for home. I went out to pack some things in our car. When I tried to re-enter I could not get back into the hotel. There was a phone number to call in case of emergency, however my phone was in the room. No one was at the desk. Luckily my husband came looking for me. I don’t like to think how long I would’ve been waiting to get back inside if I had been alone.

They would be more up on the times with a pod type coffee pot in the rooms and a small microwave. They do have a microwave in a common area. With coffee and tea. A 3 pm snack in this area might be nice like some baked cookies or fruit. I mean store bought baked and put out. Just a nice touch.

The staff was incredible! I needed to check in early and check-out late due to my son's wedding at Wychmere Club House and they were excellent in trying to accommodate this special request. The GM Peter Patel was outstanding!! He made us feel welcomed and provided wonderful references to us. We would love to return and stay longer than what we did on Labor Day weekend. My partner and I were happily surprised with our stay. She noted that the only thing that needed attention was to add shelves in the bathroom to accommodate toothbrushes, hairbrushes, etc. The room and entire property was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and even though the place was packed on our second night, it was quiet. The full breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We highly recommend this very good deal on The Cape.

The room was fine the only issue is the beds all have 100% metal frames, every time you move or get out of bed especially in the middle of the night it sounds like a thunderstorm. They also stick out too much and you tend to bang you leg against them. Mattress is comfortable but frames are terrible

There was an issue the first night with the room across the hall from me around midnight. I considered calling 911 but someone must have called as I heard a loud “Police” then things began to settle down. Very upsetting. Being on the second floor with a heavy suitcase was not ideal for a senior citizen which I am. I saw no sign of an elevator. Second and third nights were fine as was everything else.

Aging hotel, mildew smell
Charged us extra $50 for 3 people in a room that was rated for 4 people. Room smelled of mildew with aging AC unit that sounded like a plane landing every time it kicked on. Window had a big crack in it which made it hard to open for air. \"Free\" breakfast was worth about that - completely picked over by 8:30AM. Worst coffee on the Cape. Indoor pool was warm but crowded and full of paint chips. You have to work hard to be this bad.

The hotel is in a good location. Closer to Denis area. The room was clean. 2 beds and a sofa. Perfect for what we needed for The Pan Mass Challenge weekend. We used the outdoor poor without issues. The indoor pool looked clean as well.
There was a continental breakfast each morning which was nothing fancy... egg patties, sausage, bagels, toast , cereal, muffins, yogurts. Just enough so we didnt have to go out every morning .

The downfall was there was noone to monitor this area for breakfast. We asked the girl at the front desk and the answer was \" no eggs today\" as she continued with her cell phone.
Wasnt expecting a gourmet breakfast, but this made us go out in search of some breakfast sandwiches.
Would stay again but only for a couple days...not a week or longer.

The Ambassador Inn was very clean, comfortable and well maintained facility. The king size room and bed were spacious and made it enjoyable to be able to spread out. Bathroom appeared recently renovated with modern fixtures, new tub and plenty of high pressured hot water in the shower. Outdoor pool was extremely clean without an over abundance of chlorine. Pool patio had plenty of longer chairs for relaxing after a nice swim. The entire ground are very well maintained, with picnic tables and a few charcoal grills. Lightening in the evening around the grounds made it feel safe. Breakfast offering were plentiful but need quicker refills as there were many guest having breakfast. Breakfast room was large with numerous tables in a large glass walled sunken room. Staff did their best in keeping the food area clean as well as the tables. Overall we had a wonderful three day stay that was reasonably priced for such a clean and comfortable place. The only negative we experienced were the walking, running noise in the late night and early morning from the guests in the second floor above our room. This was not the fault of the management but was just some inconsiderate people. We would definitely stay here again, in a second floor room!! According to what I read on the Internet, this hotel had been renovated/updated in 2022. I expected far more than what I got for my stay. The carpets looked dated and were not clean. The old doors were not replaced and had marks and streaky stains. Doors were difficult to open and the door to the stairs leading up towards our room had a broken knob. The bathroom in our room had a toilet paper holder that was partly broken off the wall, and there was no room at all for toiletry bags or shower items. The loveseat in the room had a couple of tears on it. The patio furniture at the entrance to the hotel was not at all inviting, the cushions were dirty and old and one of the Ottomans had a missing top. The staff did their job, but were not friendly and welcoming. I lwould not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.
