The staff was friendly enough, but not that helpful. Upon entering our room, it haf a very strong urine smell. We immediately informed the gentleman working the desk. His remedy was to spray a deoderizer into the AC system, dresser drawers and bathroom. While masking the urine smell long enough to fall asleep, we woke up to the urine smell and headaches, literally. When checking out, we again informed the front desk with a \"thanks for letting us know\" response.

This is my second stay at Magic Key and it's a quick and easy stay. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles, but for the price, the room is very clean. The check-in process is easy and the hotel's location is close to Disney and other popular destinations. We will definitely stay again.

We were so surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay here. It was a great price, everything was thoroughly cleaned, the bed was extremely comfortable, they were able to check us in even at 3am. And they gave us some cutlery and plates when our to-go order from Waffle House didn’t include any! We felt so appreciative and taken care of. Would 100000% recommend and we will stay here again!

the bed had a sheet with a decorative banner type thing across the foot of the bed, no blanket or bed spread, they put a blanket on a shelf if you wanted to use one. i've never seen a bed without a blanket or bed spread in any hotel. the soap and shampoo dispensers didn't work. the Wi-Fi was erratic.

We stayed 3 nights. The room was outdated but comfortable. It’s a chair, table for 2, mini fridge, coffeemaker & microwave in the room. There is definitely not enough lighting in the room. With both lamps on, it was still not light enough. The beds were a little too hard for me, & the pillows were flat as pancakes. The toilet kept acting up, I went to the front desk and asked 3 times for it to be fixed. They said maintenance was coming, they never did. The shower was the best part of the room, it was warm & it was updated. They use Dove soap products. They only give you 2 sets of towels even though 4 people can be in a room. You have to go to the front desk and switch out the old towels for new ones. I was very upset when I checked out because I was charged $56 without being told I was being charged when I checked out! When I called the hotel they said email my inquiry because they had NO IDEA why I was being charged. When I sent the email they replied it was for dirty linen and towels! I was livid! We didn’t even sleep on the linen, we slept on our own blankets and I asked how you are supposed to use towels without getting them dirty? I asked for proof of what they were charging me for and then they cut off all communication! Elaine at the front desk was the most helpful and the friendliest. There is a very small heated pool on the property. They also have a hotdog stand in the parking lot. It’s close to restaurants, gas stations, Sam’s Club and many souvenir shops!

I was very disapppinted when I went to the desk to ask for an additional towel and was told a flat no. (Our room had two women and only two towels. ) I understand placing only two in the rooms but when a guest makes the effort and walks down to the desk to request an extra one, I feel a reputable place would honor that. The room was nice, smelled great, and the beds were comfortable. Check in was smooth. I only gave 4 stars because the hotel rules were a little over the top. I understand rules are important, but having them posted so often made me feel like I was going to forfeit my $200 damage deposit if I touched anything. I did get it back, but after reading so many bad reviews online, I did ask for my room to be inspected before I left the property. I was told, rather rudely, that inspections are not possible while guests are present. I think that is unreasonable . It is a nice place, but it was not relaxing for me.

From the moment we arrived at Magic Key, we knew we had made the right choice. The pricing was so competitive that we were unsure how the condition would be but the room was clean, the shower was incredible, the lighting fixtures and easy plug in for chargers was terrific, and most magical of all - we arrived from a long drive to find THE BEST taco truck out front. Check in and check out were easy and the professionals we encountered were kind. Views were also lovely as the sunset was excellent and a tree covered in Spanish moss and lovely palms dotted the property.

I am a repeat customer. This is not a fancy place. The only amenity is a small pool that hardly gets used. I like the location - right on 192 near Target and 535. It's clean, comfortable, and generally quiet. It's also very reasonably priced. They only service the room every 3 days, but that's fine with me. I will almost certainly stay here again.
