The hotel swapped from Red Lion to Radisson on our day of travel. The check-in process was incredibly frustrating - it took over an hour to get checked in. The line was out the door from 4:00 until we returned from our event just before midnight. They did a TERRIBLE job by not communicating anything to the guests and just expected everyone to understand without so much as an explanation. The hotel is great - we've stayed there 5 times already in the past 3 months, but this stay was terrible and I've considered not coming back because of how un-empathetic the staff and managers were.

Well, the entire check-in was a disaster. While mine took only 7 hours, in the evening there was still a long line of guests, some of them families with small children, waiting to get a room they had ordered and paid for. I do not blame the staff, who did their best to mitigate the situation. But whoever managed the transition from Red Lion to Radisson should look for a simpler occupation. That there was not even a backup registration procedure was appalling. And nobody in the local staff had the common sense or initiative to check folks in manually and give them a room. Everything could have been solved quickly this way. Take a picture of credit card and ID and give the families a room. Then sort out matters later when the system is up and running. This incompetence left only many, many disgruntled guests behind, who in all probability blame Radisson for a ruined Orlando vacation.

Understaffed, took 35 min to check in. The A/C in the room didn’t work called the front desk over 10 times with no response. At time of check out I expressed my disappointment and the front desk representative told me there was nothing she can do.

Hotel staff are always professional and friendly.
The room and hotel is clean. 4/5 stars, only because the pool is not heated; making it too cold to swim in during February.
In the evenings, when temps went down to 60-70s, being from Canada and used to the cold we figured it would’ve been alright. But the water was colder than the outside air.

We've stayed here a couple of times before, but this time we got a run-down room. The TV wasn't a smart TV, and when I used the microwave, it started smelling like something was burning. We called immediately, around 8:00 AM, and someone came to check it out, but that was the end of it. After about three more calls to the front desk throughout the day, around 4:00 PM, they told us that the person in charge had already finished their shift and that if we wanted to heat something up, we should go down to the lobby and use the microwave there.

Front desk attendant who checked us in didn't tell us you had to sign up for housekeeping. We loved coming here multiple times, but will not be back. I wonder if it's under new management based on the newer reviews. Front desk employees are rude and don't give solutions - just stated we could talk to the manager; however, we knew that would be a waste and didn't wait on them since the front desk employees talked to my wife in a condescending way, we knew the manager wouldn't do anything since the employees felt safe enough to use that tone.

It is what it is, but they can keep their resort fee and all their \"amenities.\"

This place was great! The lady at the front desk was really nice. Room was very clean and modern with no carpets. I parked my semi truck with a 53 foot trailer in the back and they were okay with that. It was a little bit tight but plenty of room, you will have to backup into another section to turn around but still easy enough. TV was awesome! It's 55 inch and I just used a firestick. Shower had great pressure and was hot. The mirror in the bathroom was fancy too. They have a pool and Riverwalk, 2 restaurants, a gift shop, and a couple other things. Overall it was a really nice resort especially for the price!

The only bad which really wasn't a big deal. Three back exit that was closer to my semi truck on the first floor the door wouldn't unlock from the outside (dead battery) so I would go through one of the side doors which also didn't work but you could just open the door without a key. Really not a big deal.

Overall, this place is awesome and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be coming back here again!

The outdoor heated pool was freezing cold ,which is such a shame as its a nice place , spoke to reception apparently been like it a long time but they haven't removed the HEATED bit off website ,so wont stay there again as we like to spend a lot of time in the pool, breakfast was ok but wasnt told whats what upon arrival ,only one staff member who littery just stood about, so thats why only 3 stars

Afternoon , front desk employees are Very welcoming, professional, and friendly! Rooms very clean!!!!! Just 2 little issues we encountered...toilet had no flush power .had to go away, then go back n flush a second time..sometimes took few tries..And couldn't adjust the a/ c...it was 69 degrees in there!! You can set the temp you desire, but temp never got any warmer then 69!! Oh yeah! The bed closet to the door, has a bent leg..so be careful jumping on bed .. it's going to break due to bent leg..( room 1505 I think) Otherwise, wonderful stay!!

Room was clean and breakfast was good. Room was outdated and had rusted/moldy fixtures behind the bathroom door. Bathroom fan was incredibly loud. Walls are paper thin and we had to make a couple of calls down to the front desk because guests were fighting and loud. Too cold to use the pool or lazy river, which was the reason we booked. TV did not have apps or smart capabilities so we weren’t able to watch our own movies or shows. Probably wouldn’t stay here again, however the staff were very friendly and kind.

The room smelled like strong peppermint or some similar mineral oil. That's fine though because for the most part it smelled clean. The only bad smell was after flushing the toilet or sometimes when running the shower, a poop smell would come from the toilet. Y'all might have a leak.

The beds were clean, smelled surprisingly fresh, and the pillows were comfy. No bed bugs under the mattress and bed was clean under sheets.

The carpet was dry👍

The fridge worked and didn't stink.

From the looks of the place I thought the carpets would be wet and there would be stains on the bed. For the price, I'd give it 5 stars.

It takes a long time sometimes to get a hold of the front desk. Sometimes you do there yourself and they appear after some minutes. They've never answered the phone when I called.

Still, it was so cheap and clean that I'd stay there again for a night if I really needed to.

Overall, I had a good stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was well kept and felt safe.

Getting around the property was a bit confusing, and I found myself getting lost several times, which was frustrating. Aside from that, everything else met expectations. With clearer signage or directions, this would be an even better experience. I would still consider staying here again.

We stayed at the Red Lion Hotel in Orlando for four days and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient for getting around Orlando.

The only suggestion I would make is regarding the breakfast options. Breakfast was provided each morning, which we appreciated, but the choices were usually the same every day. Adding more variety to the breakfast menu would really improve the overall stay.

Aside from that, everything else met our expectations, and we enjoyed our time there.
