Honestly not what I was expecting. The food on site was mediocre at best but when I went to the bathroom, half the toilets were missing their tops. The bartender at the pool bar was the most unfriendly bartender I’ve ever encountered, I’ve worked in service myself many years and I was shocked at his demeanor. The room had dirty aspects like the countertop, table, windowsills. The table on the balcony was rusted, the blinds were rusted, the chairs were sunken and stained. The beds were sunken, but the sheets were clean I will say that. My mom and I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the room ourselves as housekeeping is not included (we thought only during the stay but it seems in between stays it’s not top notch either). The hot tub looked like it needed to be scrubbed, so we didn’t go in the pools either. We tried to use the washing machine set to cold and the water came out very hot. After telling the event staff we didn’t want to hear the presentation about becoming members they became cold but front desk and grounds staff were very nice. Overall very disappointing. Wouldn’t go back.

Best thing is you can drive up to the second floor parking lot next to the elevator and go to your suite, very easy and fast, there is a Publix 6 blocks away, shops, restaurants, almost anything you want.

The property was in a great location, everyone was nice. The furniture, carpet and bedding needed an updating. If they would replace the carpet in the halls it would be a great improvement. It was damp and had a musty smell. I would stay again based on the size of the rooms. Nice space and balcony.

Check in was good. The front desk staff is kind and helpful. But then they send you over to guest relations where they bombard you with information and try to get you to sign up for that 5 hour long meeting to sell you a time share. We of course declined that invitation.
Room is very old. Looks like it hasn't been updated in AT LEAST 20 years. Ugly olive green walls and McDonalds yellow with a brown carpet that must have never been shampooed because my kids feet were black at the end of the day. Beds are old and uncomfortable. My kids wanted to take a bath in the jetted tub (of course not!!). There was what looked like rusty water marks coming out from the jets. Tile in the bathroom was cracked in many places. Grout is black when it would be light. We put the spare sheets on the sofa and chair so we can feel comfortable sitting. The sinks in the bathrooms don't drain either. At least the water pressure in the shower was good.
The ship at the pool is only a slide. It's not a ship where kids can play and pretend to be pirates. Hot tubs had not been cleaned and had debris from the plants around them. No one bothers to screen the debris out. Jetted tubs on the floor were yellowed.
We will not be staying at this hotel ever again. I was disgusted.

Easy check in ! Knifes in kitchen was dirty had oil or butter in it and had been placed in block ! Toilet handle broke but maintenance was able to repair it . Wife complained mattress was to hard. And water in shower never got hot luke warm at best ! But every stay member was very excellent and very polite. Would stay again ! Will stay again !!

The space was bigger than I thought. I traveled with 1teen, 2kids under 10 and my husband. We all had plenty of space. The washer and dryer was convenient and having a kitchen to make breakfast and snacks was truly helpful. The facility was very clean and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. My daughter utilized the spa for a facial— it was an amazing and relaxing experience. The pool was so much fun— the cocktails and food menu bar was very good and fair prices with specials available. The arcade Game Center is being worked on but we still had fun with what they had to offer. The grocery store within the resort is very convenient however prices are high so if you could stop by stores around the resort I would recommend that. We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back next year! Shout out to Jair at front desk — after a 25hr drive, you made check in quick and stress free.

The room was very dirty and needed updating. The hallway rug had a huge stain. The floor was bumpy under the rug. The curtains were torn in the living room. The oven was dirty. The furniture needs to be replaced in several rooms. Very scratched nightstands or broken drawers.
The pirate boat and the pool area was amazing. Very well kept grounds. Landscaping was well done. I was impressed with the lobby and the entrance but it didn’t match the room we were in at all. I reserved the 3 bedroom 3 bath condo in building #2.

Lake Buena Vista is a typical property placed on Expedia. They give a break on the rate for travelers to Orlando. The catch is that they try to sell you the timeshare. You talk with a person at the front desk, then they sent us to some older gentleman with glasses who tried to tell us the heat would be brutal and to try some of the amenities indoors at the property. He then asked us to go to a talk about this property first thing the next a.m. I refused. The guy seemed to be a little \"haughty\" and slightly condescending. Glad I didn't have to deal with him later.

The sliding automatic door to building 5 opened and closed incessantly and seemed like the right door was forced open. Don't know what that was about.

The room had plenty of space and a kitchen with a refrigerator that worked not so well. You couldn't freeze items well in the freezer and the lower part of the refrigerator didn't get all that cold either. The kitchen was furnished with basics but had no spatula. I had to use a large plastic spoon to flip eggs and based upon how the bottom of the spoon appeared melted, I suspect someone else had the same thought I had. We bought some basic foods for breakfast like eggs, etc. We tried to save some money by cooking at least one meal in the room. It has a kitchen sink which I used to wash dishes so as not to have to use up the ample dishwasher tabs or powder they did not provide.

If you are looking for a place to crash, it is ok, but if you want more, look around.

This is a great place to stay for business and more importantly for families. The rooms are basically apartments fully equipped so you can shop, prepare your own meals and do your laundry everything is comfortable and the people here are wonderful. The amenities are great can't say enough about this property and how good it is for the money.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The biggest concern was the condition of the arcade area. There was visible black mold, holes in the walls, caution tape, and safety cones throughout the space. For an area designed for families and children, it looked neglected and poorly maintained. We took photos because we were genuinely shocked by what we saw.

Our room also had maintenance issues. The bathtub was backed up and never drained properly, leaving standing water after every shower. This is a basic issue that should have been addressed before the room was rented to guests.

Customer service at the pool was equally disappointing. There appeared to be only one employee working, and the first thing we heard her say was, “Let me finish my breakfast first,” while guests were waiting for assistance. Throughout our stay, she seemed more focused on taking breaks than helping guests, which was frustrating and unprofessional.

I do want to recognize the employees who provided great service. The woman working at the convenience store next to the arcade was friendly, welcoming, and helpful every time we interacted with her. The Pizza Hut staff were also courteous, professional, and pleasant.

Unfortunately, the positive interactions with those employees could not outweigh the maintenance issues and poor customer service elsewhere on the property. Management needs to address these concerns immediately, especially the mold and overall condition of the arcade area.

My family and I love this property for our Orlando theme park vacations. It’s a well maintained, affordable and quiet stay. It’s like staying in your own little apartment, which is the sort of hotel stay that I prefer to a more traditional single room hotel that doesn’t have a kitchen, washer dryer, etc. I need to be able to do my own laundry and maintain some semblance of normalcy while on vacation to keep my own sanity. My children are older, but I would imagine it’d be even better for families with younger children, as everyone can get a little space for themselves to unwind. Everyone’s different, and that’s how my family likes to do it.
We stayed here a year ago and plan to again the next time we plan a trip to Disney or Universal. There is a bus shuttle to both those parks that run in the morning and bring you back in the afternoon, you just have to book your party with the company and use the code the hotel gives you to use the bus services for free. This resort is a fraction of the price of many others in the area and is a great stay.

The room was spacious. Two bedrooms, one with king and garden tub the other with two double beds. The beds were fine the carpet was pretty worn out. The hallway was a little smelly. The sauna in the men’s spa Lounge/locker room was on but not hot at all. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the pirate ship slide. The entrance doors to the building 5 were constantly malfunctioning. In all, the stay was fine but the place could use some upkeep.

It was great to have so much space and so many rooms at that price. The furniture was clunky and outdated, but the fully equipped kitchen was great, our 14th floor balcony was huge (and the child safety latch on the balcony door was much appreciated}. One toilet was a little anemic, but otherwise everything worked well and the AC fan was wonderfully quiet. The pool with the pirate ship was really fun. And the atmosphere around the pool and the whole place was families on holiday having a good time together. The staff seemed well trained and sought to be helpful. A more serious inconvenience: everyone seemed to be having trouble getting key cards to work, at the building entrance and at the rooms. Staff cheerfully replaced them and then they would work, at least for a while. The gym was a little better equipped with machines than most hotels, but oddly there were no dumbbells.

We stayed here for a golf trip and absolutely loved it. The bedrooms were spotless and surprisingly spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out. Even though the appliances weren’t brand new, they all worked exactly as they should, which we appreciated. The pool was fantastic. It was clean, relaxing, and perfect after a hot day. Plus, you can’t beat the location. Being so close to the theme parks made everything super convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Could not check in until exactly 4pm. Called front desk a few times but never got an answer. The price was decent in comparison to an actual Disney resort but likely would not stay here again. The fireworks are very very far away if you pay for a fireworks view. Outdated decor and furniture, walls, etc. carpet was gross looking/feel-we had a door that looked like it had to be broken into frequently (at frame). There was dirt on floors in bathrooms. It was convenient to alot of places and easy to catch ride-shares but that is the best I can say based on other places we have stayed at.

It's family-friendly, and the rooms are clean inside, but the furniture is super outdated. The living room furniture is scratched, old, and not comfy at all. The bed headboards were terrible, and the stove had one burner out. Plus, there was only one working elevator for the whole building, so we wasted 25 minutes waiting for it because my mom recently had knee surgery and couldn't use the stairs.

Overall, our stay was okay. The pool area and staff were great, and we enjoyed those parts of the resort. However, when we arrived, there was leftover food in both the refrigerator and freezer, which was unpleasant. We also had ongoing issues with the key cards constantly deactivating, so we had to keep going back to the front desk to reactivate them. On top of that, the toilet kept clogging for no apparent reason. Because of these issues, I would rate the stay a 6/10.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing, mainly because of the strong odors throughout the property. The rugs in my room had a musty, unpleasant smell, almost like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. On top of that, there was a noticeable smell of weed in the hallways and even inside the room, which made the environment feel poorly monitored.

Another frustrating issue was the room key constantly failing. I had to go back to the front desk three different times to get it reset because it was so sensitive. It became a hassle just trying to get into my own room.

Overall, the combination of odors and key problems made the stay far less comfortable than expected. I hope management addresses these issues for future guests.

Come look at it like it was something that could be fixed. It’s something that needed to be updated. And getting a fireworks view means you get no view at all wish I would’ve known that

We reserved a 4 bedroom suite and had 9 people in our party. There was 1 sleeper couch/sectional in the entire suite. It was in terrible condition. One side you could not sit comfortably because the back of the cushion was sunken down, and it was stained. We were given 12 bath towels for a 5 day stay and were told we would have to wash them ourselves or be charged for clean ones. I did not come on vacation to do the hotels laundry! The entire suite was very, very outdated and smelled musty the minute we entered. We had to go buy a couple candles to help with the odor. The dishwasher detergent compartment was broken and the dishes on the top rack wouldn't get clean. The website claims \"free shuttle\" to and from the Disney parks. Ha! Only if you are ok with the ONE time in the morning and ONE time at night that it runs. When we checked in a gentleman that was telling about the \"amenities\" then tried to pressure us into buying a \"vacation deal package\". The same gentleman called the room on checkout day to \"see how our stay was\". When I started telling him he basically said I'd have to talk to a manager about that, then proceeded to try to get me to listen to yet another \"vacation package\" we could buy. Very off-putting!! The pool area was pretty good. The evening bartender could try to assist people a little faster. We waited at the bar for several minutes and there was only 1 other customer he was helping at the time, who only ordered 2 drinks. We wouldn't stay here again.

The room was absolutely great! I researched reviews prior and read that there were smells or strong odors in the room and hallways. While we did smell something strong in the hallway, with full kitchens in the rooms, we assumed other visitors were cooking. Iur room smelled fresh and clean and we loved the oversized tub! Wonderful stay!!! The staff were really nice and the pool was awesome.

The drawers in our room were all broken, the couch literally sunk in and the pull out bed was disgusting. The two main reasons for booking the hotel was water area, which consisted of 1 slide that had black discoloration. It’s very dirty. The jacuzzi by the pool that was lacking in being cleaned. My in room jacuzzi did not work and when I called for assistance, I was told I had to wait until the next day to have maintenance come by. I could not move to another room as none were available.

This place was pretty much as I expected for what I paid. I would call it a 'value reort'. We had 4 adults and it was a nice place to come back to from excursions. We only used the kitchen for breakfast and it was adequate. It was a little dated but the beds were good. Only complaint was scratchy towels.

We loved our stay at this resort and would definitely recommend, particularly for families of all ages, we enjoyed the pools and the onsite restaurant, convenience store and Pizza Hut made it very easy to relax after a busy day at the parks. The shuttle service to the Theme Parks was very good, easy to book and it didn’t cost a lot to get a car home if you didn’t want to wait for the evening return shuttle. The resort is close to some outlet stores, Walmart and supermarket which was very handy. The rooms were very large, comfortable and clean and staff very helpful.
