Amenities were clean, spacious and comfortable (maybe a little dated). Beautiful view of the lake, and other activities happening at night (fireworks / rocket launches). Great location to everywhere we needed to go.
jose
Awesome stay. Everything close by and view was perfect
Melissa
Water temperature turn all the way up as barely hot in room. The handle in the main bedroom’s bathroom kept falling off for the tub/shower. Door next to us had two dead bolts on it not normal and insulation tubing around the door. Door looked like it had been rammed in. TV was always on and loud next door. Made us very nervous. We have stayed multiple times over the last 10 years at the resort, but this may have been our last time.
Robert
Internet spotty at times. Room reasonably clean. No blankets provided. View of lake and Disney properties is great. Balcony furniture is outdated. Laundry machine good. Floor tiles broken. Living room area is comfortable. Short walk to many amenities. Short drive to parks, restaurants.
Kristin
Great for the price. The floors were very dirty and the furniture is outdated. If the floors were mopped, I would stay again
Bethany
Fantastic location and very nice amenities. We loved that the pool and hot tub were open till 11pm! You can go relax after long days in the parks! Check in was quick and easy, as was finding our way there and around. Beautiful view.
The apartment has just about everything we needed. It was very clean. The furnishings/appliances are a bit old and cosmetically imperfect, but they are comfy and still function fine. Don't leave any food unsealed on the counter though; we had some bread in a takeout box, and in the morning there were a bunch of ants in it! Didn't expect that on the tenth floor! Oh and my kids thought the bunk beds in the hallway were weird, but hey, they were beds.

Everything about this stay was on point. The room and location was perfect.
Kelly
The hot tub wasn't working one night. The master bathroom has so.e water damage and mold by the tub, which needs to be fixed. Otherwise, good place to dtay near Disney.
Michael
Very clean apartment with great facilities. Amazing location, 10 minutes drive to the major theme parks. Easy check in/out procedure, would definitely stay here again!

Very clean room and nice pool, is a perfect resort easy location of disney and sea word ,epcot, universal ,island of adventure very nice i like this resort
Jeremy
large clean rooms, beautiful pool and walk ways, Dunkin and Mini Golf right out front. Neighbors properties are not as well kept.
Jason
Although we have enjoyed staying at the Blue Heron Resort for many years. (This most recent stay would be our 11th), unfortunately the unit that we were in this stay had some issues. The Vacasa rep was very responsive to our concerns and showed up in person to assist which was appreciated. They did offer some alternative options within the property, but we decided to check-out early and move to a new location since it was our 25th Anniversary trip. Even though, this unit did not meet our expectations, we have had 10 previous years where we absolutely enjoyed staying at the Blue Heron so we assume this was just a one-off fluke.
DANIEL
would be a 5 star experience, but the property advertised as “sleeps 6”, and the pull-out sofa bed was

I. Loved to stay
Nina
The stay was great. The only issue is that the front desk did not have our reservation when we got there. They had to call the booking agent, who gave them the wrong dates, which caused another delay at check out.
Jennifer
Great place!
Great place to stay! Very clean and beautiful views!

Property was clean
Heather
This place is very dirty. Cobwebs and dust on everything. A dirty towel on the floor right when we walk in. Another dirty towel laying on a bed. Dirty sheets just balled up in the closet. A glass pane with 90degree corners was on a shelf in the closet and hanging off the shelf about 5 inches where you would use the hangers to hang clothes. Right at head level. Almost had to go to the hospital because my head hit it. Handle broken off to a bedroom. Faux drawers or cabinet doors fell off in the kitchen. Night stands with the draw bottoms falling off or barely on so those are unusable. They don’t spray for spiders and after I counted over 50 as soon as the sun went down I ran in and locked the doors and that was just one balcony. They have two and each is just as bad. Even the ones by the elevators. These are huge spiders. Not little ones at all. The pool was digusting . Trash in it and people weave allover. And the worst part is a maintenance worker sprayed me and my brother and my car with some kind of chemical. I still don’t know what it was but it was burning my skin. We had to wipe down the car and get a car wash and both take showers right away. The man didn’t speak English to tell me what chemical it was. I have pictures for all this but this review didn’t ask for photos. Also the hotel did nothing at all to accommodate things that were wrong. There was many more things but these were the top complaints.
Brenda
The condo that we stayed in was clean but had NO cookware. Unit had two pots and no frying pan. We’ve stayed there several times before but this was first time we encountered not having cookware. Also didn’t have any towels for the pool.
Kristin
We were there for a girl’s national volleyball tournament. The hotel is apx. 20 mins from the Orange County Convention Center. The team stayed at this hotel so it was fun to meet at the pool. The rooms are large and comfortable and it was nice to have the bunk beds in the hall of the unit. We had a great view from our room in Tower 2, unit 601. It needs some fixes. The patio out of the bedroom doesn’t lock, the clock on the living room is broken. The sink and tub drains super slowly in the bathroom of the bedroom with the patio. The DVD remote is missing a battery, and there are several hot iron imprints in the carpet in the bedroom with the patio. We enjoyed our stay as the size of the unit was great, it was comfortable, and a great location.
SUDHIR
The only good thing about the property is that its within 15 mins drive from Disney and has stores around it. The presentation is very good but the property is not clean, the carpets are very dirty and I used 2 properties and both had issues in washroom , cleanliness issue and kitchen amenties issue. Even if you complain about something, you will receive an automated message but no actual action, i stayed with flooded bathtub for 3 days.
Josie
We had an absolutely amazing time at this condotel. Everything was spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped - it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect with an amazing view, it exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Igor
Aggressively below average property. Bedroom carpet has an awful, strange smell. Roaches appeared every so often. Unit had a busted garbage disposal on day one. One of the bathroom doors were off one of the hinges and did not close properly. Mattresses were mediocre. Curtains and decorations are very tired and old. TVs are hilariously old, there is even an actual DVD player… Long story short, you’re “saving money” on a place like this for a reason. You’re better off somewhere (anywhere) else. Don’t bring your family here. The only silver lining was checking out at the end of the trip.
Simon
Unit was clean and stocked with what we needed for our week long stay. Pool, lake, and proximity to OCCC made this a great place.
Melissa
Hidden gem! Traffic is a bummer but worth it for the space. We will be back for sure!
Diane
Great
NATHANIEL
Loved the proximity to wdw
Douglas A
Poor air conditioning
We emailed the Vacasa because the air con was not flowing in our bedroom and at night it was extremely hot they did respond to the email but it appeared that nothing was done to alleviate our suffering at night
Christopher
Great stay
Great stay in a great location. Apartment a little tired but came with all mod cons and we would stay again
Beth
The safe is amazing .......Abbey is so sweet and took care of us with an issue with had with the owner
Joseph
OUTDATED condo with ants.
These are privately owned units that the owner (host) rents out. Our unit was extremely old/outdated. TV in bedroom didn’t work at all and I had to program the whopping 32 inch outdated TV in the living room myself in order to watch. Wood laminate on nightstands in bedrooms was completely missing in spots. Patio furniture was broken and a lone dead plant greeted us on the balcony. ANTS in bathroom and kitchen. Food wrapped on counter covered in ants the following morning when we woke up. The condo itself did have a beautiful view of small lake. Pool was very clean. Im sure other units in these buildings are beautiful. The owner of ours obviously hasn’t invested a dime in years and should not be allowed on Hotels.com.
Katie
The hot tub is hot. The neighbors are quite, people here are amazing
Kim
Jacuzzi tub didn't work. Two tv's and neither remote worked for either tv. Refrigerator was battered and rusty and felt very hot. Dryer would require 2 or 3 cycles to dry clothes. Very dated. We won't be back.
Charles
Roaches in the kitchen
Laurie
Outside pool bar
Amber
Everything was great, EXCEPT the place had a terrible chemical smell..... almost as if they had sprayed our room for bugs before we got there? I'm not sure but the smell was horrid....
Karen
Blue Heron is a very nice place to stay -- convenient location, condo is always nice and well equiped. Nice view in either direction -- over the lake or seeing the EPCOT fireworks at night.
Md
The property needs a good upgradation. Roaches and Ants in the kitchen. The toilets were not cleaned properly. Not enough toiletries were supplied for a week of stay. The washer and dryer were dirty. Please take these all under consideration before booking this condo. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay. Awesome front view, some good fast food and restaurants are within walking distance. 15 to 20 minutes drive to Disney World and Universal Studio.
Joe
Didn’t disappoint it was clean and best location. All around great.

Great Location!
Great location to all area attractions! Property is a little outdated and had some issues with the elevators. But, staff was very helpful and attentive.
Denise
Overall great place to stay.
Would like to see furniture and TVs updated.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and one of the owners of a condo on the 3rd floor lives on the property, plays his TV at full volume and the stench from their condo is like something has died in the condo. We talked with the front desk and they said there is nothing they could do because the owner is the problem!!! Never will stay on this property again.
Michael
We stayed for 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment. Unfortunately the apartment was very \"tired\" Handle was broken off the fridge. We had to wedge a piece of cardboard into the main door to stop it rattling in the wind. The TV remote didn't work properly and the bug guard on the balcony door was broken. Also the cooker had rust at the bottom and several areas were dirty. It's such a shame as the location and view over the lake are excellent. The apartment clearly needs a lot of money spending on it to bring up to an acceptable standard.
Chantel
Loved how close this property was to everything .
Could use some updates in the apartments themselves but the resort was clean and staff were friendly

Great place to stay at very clean spaces. Only thing is I wish the toaster and the coffee maker worked besides that I have no complaints. Definitely will stay again.
julian
Perfect location. Close to all attractions
Katelyn
We love the location of the property. We have been coming back to Blue Heron every summer for the past nine years!
Erin
Roaches in the kitchen area, the faucet handle in the master bathroom is loose. The door knob in the master bathroom has a screw hanging out of it.
At check-in, the lady told us that we could call and see if our room was available an hour later so we called an hour later. The woman was very rude on the phone and said absolutely not. You have to wait till check in at four. She could’ve handled it differently, it was the first and only time we will ever stay here. We did like the location of it being close to everything and we enjoyed the pool and Lakeview

The rooms need updating, but very clean.

great place
Lisa
We will stay here again.
Spectacular views of Epcot which included their nightly firework show. Lots of room and comfortable beds. Downside Non working coffee maker and the washer dryer was on its last legs. No real response to reports of these minor problems.
Rodney
Unfortunately not what it used to be.
Have previously stayed here on two occassions pre Covid. Property has certainly disimproved. A lot of the furniture was shabby and requires replacement. The property was not clean and suitable for guests. Cockroaches found in bedroom and bathroom.
Nicholas
Great location and view.
Melissa
Great location, but room was quite outdated.

The location is great, centralized between disney world, universal, and other attractions in the area. Friendly staff, and easy to get to off the highway.
Maria
Property had beautiful views with the ocean in the back .
Angel Luis
Was Nice place thanks
David
A good stay, had all the basics. Pool and hot tub were great. Lovely (sunrise) view over the small lake. Short drive to Disney.
Only complaint was that the shower water never got above lukewarm temp, and some of us like a hot shower.
Overall I highly recommend.

it was dirty in the room but the housekeeping came in and addressed it and made it right!! we always stay here when we come to florida and we love it! we did check out early because the bed was hurting our backs so the beds could def use some upgrading but for the price I really can’t complain. That won’t stop me from going back! we love our blue heron stays regardless!!!!!! it makes u feel like ur home!!!

Unit is a strong mold smell that we could not get rid of. The floors were filthy and would turn your feet black. Door and window tracks had years of mold and dirt in them.
Mary
Repeat occupant and will come back again.
This was our 2nd visit to Blue Heron and it didn't disappoint. Great location.
Suggestions: Update the chipped furniture. Put blinds or shade the windows in the fitness room. The sun is blinding in the morning.

This property is in need of some updating. The check in process didn't work. I was sent an email to fill our registration ahead of time, but the link did not work. Our room needs some updating as well as better cleaning. There were leftover socks as well as a spoon under the master bed. The comforter for the sofa bed was stained and unusable. The drain in the second bath was very slow.
Jennifer
It’s OK
The first room had bugs and was not clean. The hotel switched the room, where we also found crumbs and cereal that wasn’t from us. Was glad they moved the room. Was a little disappointed in cleanliness. The porch also had broken seats so that was a bummer.
mehmet
Everything was fine, except that they have stopped service to the studios.
Graham
Closest I’ve ever been to leaving a reservation. Dirty room, mechanical room left open and it was disgusting, lots of water damage, couldn’t get simple toiletries after 3pm (after a day at the parks), very out of date. Stayed here 8yrs ago but this is not the same place. Unfortunately this will be our last time at this resort.
Cyndie
Communication was null. Nothing. No helpful tips ot direction
Janet
Was a nice place to stay. Near to Disney's park
Kathryn
Great location for Disney, Spacious, well equipped and clean apartment. Bunk beds made it a perfect family apartment - better than all sharing one room! Lovely pool area overlooking the lake. Thanks
Teresa
We have stayed at the Blue Heron every year for our Disney trips for the last 5 years. We love the location and area. They always provide shuttles to the parks; however, upon arriving this time, they said they no longer had a shuttle as of 1 month ago. Just know that although it says they have a shuttle, they currently do not so plan accordingly. Otherwise, we love Blue Heron and their awesome pools/hot tub/tiki bar/location. :-)
Tomika
The stay was nice and check in & out was easy.
Caroline
We like the property for what it has to offer..We enjoy being near the lake and the walkway and opportunity to sit out there and enjoy it.We enjoy the balconies that come with the rental. Also nice to sit out and enjoy the views. The outside property well maintained.Great large and small pools and plenty area to sit out..Also outside bar if interested. The inside is comfortable.Bit dated but have no problem with it. you can bring family there for reasonable price..Near many restaurants and stores and maybe 10 min to Disney Springs.Thats a plus.So close to Disney. We enjoy staying there.Look forward to next visit.
Cheryl
Our room was very rundown and very dirty. I had to clean the whole place before we settled in.

B+ -- Suited our Needs
We loved the set-up with the hotel! It felt like we were in a home, not necessarily a hotel room. The kitchen was decently stocked, but missing a larger frying pan and salt/pepper, which made it a bit difficult to use as a fully functioning kitchen. There was some dust on the dressers, night stands, end-tables, but other than that it overall was clean.
The pool was a very pleasant temperature & the hot tub was a perfect temperature. There were plenty of chairs poolside to use for relaxation.
In spite of the few hiccups, we would stay there again & recommend people trying this place out.

Property sent text messages to check in with us. Condo had everything we needed. Mattress in the bunk beds could use an upgrade, otherwise great place.
Martin
The hotel was nice, However the unit we stayed in needed some attention. The bedroom carpet was dirty. There was a mystery wet spot on carpet that did not dry up for the 2 days we were there. Floors were so dirty that our feet turned brown when walking bare foot. There was long hairs left in the toilet and tub. There was mold on the bottom of the curtains in living room. There was a mystery brown spot on the master bedroom toilet near handle. The TV in bedroom is very small. Security chain on exit door is falling off. We did not sleep well because the master bathroom toilet flapper was not sealing property which caused the toilet to run water about every 20 minutes.
Richard
Clean and convenient location. Nice pool! Great view for sunrise. Close to the parks.
Marta
Nice, quiet property with beautiful view of nature. Apartments need renovation and new furniture.
crystal
Dirty and cockroaches. We had to clean ourselves
H Haden
It was a unique experience. I wasn't sure what I was going to get or how it would work since it wasn't your standard hotel room, so that was a cause for some anxiety, but that was mostly on me. I was very happy with what we got for the cost. It was as advertised and there were no surprises (which I am very grateful for). I would recommend this place to a friend or book it again if I could guarantee I'd get the room we were assigned.
Julia
The furniture in the unit was pretty shabby. The layout was great with two full baths, a kitchen, living and dining area. Streaming services on the tv would have been nice. The apartment could use a coat of paint, especially baseboards and door frames.
Amanda Rae
The property itself was nice, clean, and quiet, but when it comes to requesting extra toiletries it took them two days because they stated that they were short staffed.

Family trip to Disneyland
We waited for our room from 1030am -345 until we had to call and ask what is going . They never communicated we us . They are not at the property, they work from another property.

Very nice condo. Furniture is dated but comfy. We loved the location, close to many restaurants, stores and Disney. The view of the lake is breathtaking!

It's a condo with beautiful view, just the kitchen sink is leaking. We contacted the front desk of the resort but nobody came to fix it during our 4 days stay. Everything else is excellent.

Overall, I would stay again. My flight arrived late after 1am and the security gaurd was friendly and sweet. The next day, my key was deactivated. I called and called to try to pay the money. The front check in doesnt take payments and I sat there until she finally agreed tp activate my key. No one was answering the other end, so it was a long time of just sitting in the lobby not having access to my room.

Discovered this place few years back for a place to stay with the family while visiting Disney.Since then this is the place we enjoy staying at when we come here. This is our second visit and have not been disappointed. Our grown children even like to stay here now.My daughter is a Disney die hard and has stayed here too.The price is so reasonable and room enough for everyone. Some would say a bit out dated but is comfortable for us..Could update the pillows in living area though.Look old and dated.but it is clean and offers great views of lake..which is why I liked..Near everything.Home away from home.Very affordable. Will continue to visit ..
Sandra
View from the balcony was beautiful. Overlooking the lake. Very clean, close to Disney.

Would have liked daily housekeeping, but otherwise fine next time.
