My family had a lovely time at this resort. It has been renovated beautifully since I was last there. We enjoyed the unit, relaxed & lots of family time for Thanksgiving weekend. The staff was friendly. We hope to come back back and enjoy the pool & other amenities in the summer.

The room was extremely nice. It was a split room. One side had one room with two beds. Bathroom had a jetted tub with a smaller kitchen. The master bedroom had a king size bed with a soaking tub. The tub wouldn't drain, but they sent maintenance over quickly. I mentioned that the master bathroom shower gel was out and maintenance actually called house keeping for me! When housekeeping showed up I showed them a chipped knife which should of been changed before putting anyone in the room, but they brought a new one for us. Luckily for me we were doing a turkey dinner for a early thanksgiving with friends and family so a new knife came in handy. Staff were great!

Beautiful resort sourounded in beautiful lush grounds. Conveniently located in the heart of Kissimmee. The spa facilities had everything from sauna, steam room, jacuzzi tubs, spa treatment, outdoor bar, tennis court, to name a few. The pool was beautiful. The rooms were so clean, eco- friendly and spacious with an outdoor balcony with a sitting area. The bedrooms, kitchen, livingroom, bathrooms were beautifully designed and had everything you need for a home away from home stay. This is a great place for a romantic getaway, girls vacation, or with family. I highly recommend this resort and will be coming back next time I'm in Orlando.

The property was awesome and easily accessible coming from FLL.However,the property is shared between Wyndham Resort which owns half and Star Island Resort owns the other.Booking from Wyndham make its very dufficult as the agents at the front desk will advise not much they can do for you regarding almost anything you want to do.Wanted to extend my stay, however, was told by front desk and reservation department they cannot assist because it was booked with Wyndham.Travelled with two children,booked a 2 deluxe bedroom condo and they refused to give a villa with a connecting door to access both villas without exiting the other. We were separated as a family abd were always reminded we did not booked with star Island hence not much could done.

Room was great. There was an issue with out check in that took a while and I had to get a down graded room. It was still nice just not what I booked. Staff was friendly but felt very rushed when asking questions about the issue.

I was a little hesitant to stay here after reading some reviews, but the pictures kept taking me back to this resort. In the end I booked, and I am so happy I did. I booked the 2 bedroom, and it was just stunning. The property is spacious, the pool area has a bar and a restaurant, lots of activities.

We stayed at this hotel for nine days during a family vacation in Orlando. We selected a two bedroom apartment. The room was good, very spacious, everything worked perfectly, with a full kitchen and laundry area. The hotel is not new but well maintained. The location is reasonably close to Disney and Seaworld, maybe a 10 minute drive to the Seaworld. There are some shopping centers nearby including a supermarket, factory outlets and restaurants. It is not the nicest area in Orlando but it is safe and very convenient. We didn't use the pool area nor the other facilites. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. An outstanding quality for the cost.

The resort itself is situated in an area I had never stayed before and I personally didnt like it. However, it was clean and staff were welcoming.
The unit itself was immaculate although kitchen's and bathrooms are a bit tired looking , as are blinds on windows. The outerlying facilities within the resort are excellent and the pool area could get very busy.

Property is short staffed. Gave me a downgraded, small and accessible unit when we booked a deluxe suite, due to lack of availabbility. A relative checked in 1 hr after us, who booked direct with property and received the deluxe unit we booked. There was hair in the bed meaning the sheets were not changed. Housekeeping probably short staffed. Will not stay again. Another guest checking out complained about the same thing

We wake up on the first morning to take my son ( who earned a place in the State High School Wrestling championship ) and the shower does not work. We had to use the faucet only and take towel bath. To make matters worse. Since this trip was booked through Expedia. The resort could not refund me for a night stay, even after they told me they would, it has to go through Expedia and they will not answer a phone call. What must I be do to get a credit for exceptionally poor service…….. to be continued I guess.

We loved it here. Beautiful grounds, clean suites, friendly staff. The only complaint is expedia needs to uodate their listing because club wyndham does not have jetted tubs as it has recently been remodeled and the hot ribs have been removed from the rooms. We kinda booked solely on the fact there was supposed to be hot tubs but our stay was great regardless. Love how the resort was kind of secluded from the main road as well. Beautiful place to stay!

All of the Staff was nice , check in was easy, one bed was broken and the pull out was not made up. Stray cat outside being fed daily near elevators, smelled like cat pee. TV had no active guide so was difficult too navigate. Room was comfortable enough but nothing special. Would not choose that property again.

Great spot for big families, spacious rooms, lots of activities, secure and gated entrance. Just be aware, they are also in the business of selling timeshares. Expect some kind of sales pitch, remember it's always up to you. If it makes sense to you, do it, if not, it's ok too.

The staff after you check in, who is supposed to give you your parking pass is extremely rude. I told the person who was preparing my parking pass that “I know what this is, but I only want my parking pass” He started asking for my name and my driver license, which I thought was odd as this has never happened before during check in and I usually get my parking pass at the same time I check in and not be sent to another location. He then asks me “what do you mean by you know what this is?” I explained that I could tell this was a time share and I was not interested in doing any tour. He then told me “oh don’t worry, you wouldn’t qualify for the tour, it’s only for VIP customers” I was so insulted and felt that this is not how you treat a new hotel guest. I will never go back to Club Wyndham or any other Wyndham.

We loved the pool area, the activity area including the tennis courts, the pickle ball courts, the driving range. We did not enjoy the plain tub in our room when we were expecting a jacuzzi tub, especially when the tub in the room above us leaked from our light fixture into our tub when they were using theirs. But overall, we were pleased with the property.

Everything was great for the most part. The room, the pools, and the property. There were a couple of things I don’t like. When you go to get your parking pass, they try to sell you time share and get you to attend a presentation. I said no before I heard most of the pitch, but the person continued to try and sell the the time share and wouldn’t give me the parking pass. I continued to say no. After you say no once that should be the end of it.

I liked that our room was a suite, and with that came a full sized fridge, microwave, and even a stove top with separate bedroom living areas, but I was disappointed with the room. The bathroom door had trouble opening and closing because it kept getting stuck on the floor. There was a connecting door to the adjacent room, which would be great for larger families, but I did not like the fact that I could hear things happening on the other side. I also did not like the fact that we could smell what the neighbors were cooking as well. The hotel/resort also kept inviting me to their timeshare meetings, which I declined a couple times. The pool area was really far from our building, so if you wanted to use it… you would have to drive there.

Upon arrival to check in, we had to be cleared by security. Our name was on the list and we moved on to check in. There were several people in front of us, most of which were having issues with their reservations. Once it was our turn, we were told that we had been rebooked by Hotels.com and didn’t have a reservation with them. I talked to 4 different people who all rudely said the same thing even though I only had emails confirming our reservations not that we were being rebooked. A lady in front of us said they had been “fighting for their room for over 4 hours now…but had just been allowed to check in”. After calling hotels.com it seems that Star Club Wyndham had overbooked and we suffered the consequences. It was Spring Break, we’re a family of 6 and it was already 730 pm. Luckily hotels.com was able to help us with another reservation that worker out better for us anyways. We will avoid Wyndham hotels at all cost after this experience.

Serious Lack of Communication!
I traveled from Tampa to Orlando for a couple's Valentine's Day weekend which is why I reserved a 2 bedroom. As I was approaching the resort (I was literally 10 minutes away) I received a phone call from someone at the resort stating that my reservation has been relocated and I had to contact Hotels.com. I asked what happened that my reservation was relocated and she said that she didnt know and her job was onky to tell me that it was relocated and she can transfer for further details. I asked her to transfer me and then 3 seconds later I heard a dial tone.
I contacted Hotels.com and they were still showing me as having a reservation at the resort. I told them to double check because I received a phone call stating that my reservation was relocated. It wasnt until the agent from Hotels.com actually contacted the resort that they said they ended up overbooking so my reservation had to be canceled.
So I am now 40 minutes into this phone call and having to wait for the agent to find me another room which took another 40 minutes. At this point my guests and I are sitting at a gas station waiting to see where we are going to end up.
