There was trash overflowing throughout the hallway. Dirty property, dirty carpets, room smells musty. I made a reservation for two days, but because of how disgusting it was, I checked out the next day at 8 a.m

We had a nice visit to Orlando. Our room had a good amount of space in the room for 2 adults, 2 teens, and 1 kid. We had a sofa bed and 2 queen beds. The room was clean. The bath towels are a good size and absorbed well. A very nice breakfast is served in the morning; eggs, meat, Mickey waffles, cereal, bread, yogurt, juices, milk, coffee, etc. Pool was open 24/7 but it was too cold while we were there to use. Plenty of free parking. Large property. We faced the small amusement park and their roller coaster but was never bothered by the noise or the lights. We were on the 7th floor. They refresh the towels and take out the room trash everyday. Beds are refreshed every 3 days. The hotel could use an update but they keep everything clean and repaired. I found the mattresses to be uncomfortable so I used extra pillows to add some cushion. We would definitely stay again. The rates were reasonable and included parking and breakfast - a big plus for our family.

Check in was a disaster! I had booked the room 6 weeks ago with a 3rd party. I book this way all the time for our hotels when we travel. The day before our arrival I got the usual welcome letter from the GM of the hotel stating check in times and amenities etc. Upon check in, the front desk clerk said my reservation had been canceled by 3rd party. I had confirmation number, proof of payment, all the necessary documents. She was insistent that I was wrong. She offered to book me a new room. The same room I had already paid for was offered to me at a much higher rate! We had traveled all day and were very tired so I took it. I asked to see the manager and she said any grievance I had needed to be addressed by 3rd party. Great. We checked in and I contacted 3rd party. Customer Service was awesome. I explained the issue. She assured me my reservation was valid and offered to call the hotel on my behalf. When CS presented the same information I had, the manager agreed to refund me my original payment. Not the charge they had me pay at check in. I feel I was scammed! They got the higher price for the room. HERE IS THE REST OF THE STORY. The gentleman checking in next to me received the same song and dance. He had booked through a different 3rd party and they couldn’t find his reservation either. They miraculously had a room for him as well at the higher price. Do not to business with this hotel. They are not honest!!
The evening was saved by the awesome bartender at the pool bar

The room was a nice size. Unfortunately it smelled, the rugs obviously need to be replaced. The refrigerator was spotty at best. The bathroom spigot was pulling away from the wall in the shower. Wifi was good and breakfast was decent. Staff were all very nice. Fortunately we were barely in the room.

Pool was nice. Rooms need to be updated. TV didn’t work. Went to the manager 3 times, still nothing. Door room key didn’t work properly. It took at least 10 times for it to work. Breakfast was convenient. Bar restaurant was supposed to be open daily at 3 - never opened.

The breakfast menu wasn't that bad. Not a lot of variety but it helped. The rooms weren't all that clean, there was a particular smell of old when entering the room. The shower floor was stained as well. During the last day in our stay, there was a power outage and the ACs and elevators stopped working, had to carry the luggage down 3 floors.

They have multiple signs giving different info on the daiquiri bars hours and all are incorrect. They are closed Sunday and Monday, open Tuesday-Wednesday 5-10 and Thursday -Saturday 4-11… no other restaurant or bar there. They do have a buffet breakfast in the dining area 6:30-9:30. Pool area is beautiful and it’s in walking distance to old town, fun spot, and pirates cove. It was a great trip and will be back just be mindful if the hours to get food and drinks

Very happy with our room. The hotel is a little dated, but overall seemed very clean for the money. The AC in the room worked great, but the lobby area seemed to stay warm. The elevators were extremely slow, but we got used to it. The buffet in the morning was way better than expected. We ate it every morning. We would stay there again.

My family enjoyed our 6 night stay here. The room and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning before heading over to Disney. The hot tub was awesome every night before bed. We did see a few bugs in the bathroom throughout the stay. But all in all, a good stay for the money.

When we arrived and got into our room it was kind of muggy in there(smelled musty). We turned our A/C unit down to 70 but it never got cool in our room the whole weekend. All the furniture handles and one of the lamps was very rusty(assuming because of the mugginess). In the bathroom it stated on the mirror that Housekeeping is \"provided upon request\" unless you are there for more than 3 days. The day after we checked in we went out and did a few things and went back and housekeeping was going into our room. I was very confused, I dont mind that they where there but if I would have known I would have not let some of my things sit out. The breakfast was OK, no fruit options though, the first day there was no fruit the second day there was only Oranges. The location is awesome though especially if you are going to Old Town, its just a walk across the street.

The room and the pool was great! It is gorgeous and makes you feel like you’re on vacation. Amenities are not as described regarding restaurant and bar. There is free breakfast then everything shuts down until 4pm-5pm depending on the day and it’s a pool bar with snacks. The sign says it opens at 3 but it don’t. New owners they said have made the changes and it no longer offers a “restaurant”. Being diabetic that cannot have carbonation the only drinks available for purchase was water for 4.50 until the bar opens or free hot coffee and hot tea.

This was a horrible experience. The pictures are VERY deceiving. When we pulled up I could instantly tell that the grounds are not kept at all. There was trash everywhere and the landscaping needs pruning really bad. When we arrived to check in I noticed it was scorching hot in the lobby. When I asked someone about the air, I was told that they were working on it. My family and I went to our room that we were assigned to and instantly after opening the door you could smell mold and mildew. The smell was so strong. I went to the desk and they gave us another room on the 7th floor. While trying to bring all of our luggage up to our room— we observed that the elevators were extremely slow. We later find out that this very large building with 7 stories of rooms only has 2 elevators. Can you say fire hazard and extremely inconvenient?!!!! The hallways were hot and smelled bad. Also, while walking the halls you see trash everywhere. I did not see workers cleaning or trying to keep the place tidy. I honestly think that the carpet was not once vacuumed our entire stay. Once we got into our room, the room was very hot. There was a ceiling fan in the room that was broken and they could not fix. We ended up going to Walmart and buying fans. There were sunflower seed shells that were not ours that we kept finding and stepping on. The tub did not look clean at all and we bought bleach to clean it. The shower head did not work, it was trickling water. Bugs. It was awful.

From check-in to check-out we were treated as family. The staff at this hotel is awesome. Rooms were nice, clean and quiet. Kevin at the Tiki bar was awesome to deal with and provided excellent service every evening weather it was just a couple drinks or for dinner by the pool side.

The hotel and our room were clean, spacious and inviting.

Some people provide negative feedback but it has not been our experience. Staff are great and the food at the pool bar is delicious.

The breakfast is ok but nothing special.

We are already looking at booking our date for next year.

Bath tub was disgustedly clogged with hair.
Floor behind toilet was gross and had someone's garbage behind it.

We booked a 7 night stay and were advised that housekeeping comes in every three days. That's fine. BUT they came in every day to take out our garbage and they'd also take our towels that we were fine with reusing. We had them hanging on the shower rod as there are no towel bars in the bathroom. On the 3rd day we returned after a long day out and had NO TOWELS because they would keep taking them but not restocking. Had to constantly ask for coffee everyday, needed toilet paper one day, needed towels.
Hot tub had little water and jets didn't work.
On the last day of our stay someone came in replenished towels, coffee and made our beds. Thanks but no thanks.

The hotel is dated and the bathrooms are in need of several upgrades. The staff was pleasant and the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. . . . . The side of the hotel facing the main parking lot is noisy due to a noisy rollercoaster at the entertainment complex that runs constantly from open til closing at midnight.

Almost everything was good. The only problem: in our executive king suite there was no blanket for the rollout couch bed. It was not in the closet. When I went to ask for a blanket for it at the front desk, I was rudely told \"we don't have anymore blankets.\" I explained that the bed did not have a blanket, and they insisted I go back up and look in the closet (where we already had checked). Finally they sent a blanket, but it took a lot of wrangling to get that blanket that should have been there in the first place!

Much. It had no water in it barely filled to the jets and was filthy and disgusting. Our older children we brought were very disappointed, we stayed two nights and both nights the hot tub was a disappointment. Wonder why you advertise at the front desk 24 hr pool and hot tub and no water in the hot tub to enjoy.

Front desk customer service from all the staff including the manager was downright rude and unwelcoming.
The room was not clean. No toiletries in the bathroom. The toilet overflowed the following morning, maintenance took forever to come fix the problem. He then used towels from the bathroom to clean up the water.

We had a great stay in Orlando, but some of the feedback that I would give regarding the stay at Comfort Inn Maingate would include the following positives and negatives:

- Overall, nice place and nice location.
- I thought the breakfast was great. A few breakfast items changed daily which was nice for people that stayed a while.
- The pool and hot tub needed more attention than what it received during the week we were there. We never saw anyone attending to the outside ammenties like we see at other hotels/resorts. There were hardly ever any towels available and at one point in the evening we could not even get in the hot tub because of the amount of leaves and scum in it. Disappointing. Also, the pool bathroom had no toilet paper.
- Also, one afternoon my wife and I were trying to take a nap in our room and housekeeping came in to our room without even knocking!

Lady at check in rude. Lady at check out rude. Lady at check out actually raised her voice at me for no reason. Terrible service. Room had dirty odor. All trash cans around property full, needed to be emptied. Have stayed here for years. Property not kept up to standards for a Choice Hotel. May look at other choices to stay from now on.

Rooms were very nice, comfortable beds, clean fluffy towels. Breakfast was good, a little above breakfasts that are usually included with hotels. Only a couple negatives, one was the room had carpet in it. The odor in the room was strong, housekeeping sprayed something on the carpet...but it really did not mask it. Hotel was crowded but most people were gone during the day. Nice that it's across the street from Fun Spot and Old Town. My wife is handicapped but several of the handicapped parking spaces had regular cars in them. We complained but no cars got moved. Would stay here again...especially if they get rid of the carpet and go to wood or tile floors. .

The room was the last room available this night. It had a strong mold smell that we had to leave the ceiling fan on all night long even though it was freezing outside. I have allergies to mold and was sick. But couldn’t find another place because there was a tournament or something going on. The bathtub was dirty n the shower rod broken that the water was going on the floor. Very disappointed. The last time we stayed here it was great stay. This time was questionable.

the room was ok.there was a pop can on the floor by the bed. when i left a tip my bed got made. when i didnt leave a tip she sat towels on the vanity and left. I had asked for room servive every day, of which i dont think you should have to ask, and again it was half room service.Breakfast was very good as were the ladies serving it

The room was in ok condition. The A/C unit did not work properly...the \"constant fan\" option would not go on. The room had a mildewy smell to it so I wanted to keep the fan on. Maintenance came in and said they did not have part to fix it and I could switch rooms. I said ok. After two hours I was told there weren't any rooms left. The hallways smelled horrible, very bad mildewy smell. I believe it was the carpet. It looks like it is in major need of an upgrade. The mattress on the bed had a sagging spot in it and was very uncomfortable. It wasn't the best experience.
