Rooms are big with tall ceilings. I loved the full size fridge and kitchen area. I also really liked that there was a table with chairs and a recliner. It was a wonderful place to stay for a couple nights, especially with a little one and dog. Breakfast was very good and the man who was setting it all up was so kind. Only thing that I had an issue with was it took a long time for the shower to warm up. I thought I was going to have to take a cold shower but it did end up getting a little warmer after 10 mins.

IT NEVER ARRIVED. i ASKED HOUSEKEEPING FOR ONE THE NEXT DAY. tHERE IS AN AIR COMPRESSOR IN THE PARKING GARAGE THAT SUPPLIES THE SPLINKLER SYSYTEM WITH AIR THAT HAS A LEAK AND CAUSES THE COMPRESSER TO KICK IN FOR 8 SECONDS AND OFF FOR 110 SECONDS, 24/7 THATS ALL I COULD HEAR DAY AND NIGHT, EVEN WITH EARPLUGS. dESPITE ALL THIS IT WAS BEING GASLIT BY THE COUNTER PERSON THAT CHECKED ME IN AND THREATENED TO CANCEL MY 2 WEEK STAY IF I DID NOT PAY A DOG FEE FOR HAVING SECURED THE ROOM A DAY EARLY (THE 16TH) DESPITE INFORMING THEM I WAS NOT STAYING THERE BUT ONLY NEEDED TO SECURE THE ROOM A DAY EARLY TO PUT MY PERSONAL ITEMS IN WHILE I WAS MOVING. tHERE IS MORE BUT I LACK THE TIME AND ENERGY TO LIST NOW. tHE BUILDING HAS ISSUES AS OUTLINED BY MFD AND MORE AND i WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN,

Cons: Not enough pillows or towels for a family of 3 staying in a king suite. Poor (weirdly small) pillows. No dressor in the king bedroom - so no where to put clothes!! Was very strange - how a dressor was missing so could only hang items but not fold or have anywhere for socks, etc. This was a major drawback - when staying nearly a week and nowhere to put folded items. No conditioner in shower - need to ask front desk - cannot get from maid service (which BTW is only every 3 days). WiFi did not work on cell phone. The key card stopped working at least 1-2 times each day over our nearly week stay!! Very annoying to have to go down repeatedly to front desk for new activated card. Pool was cold (confirmed by 3 separate guests) and jacuzzi ok but not really hot. Weekend rate is costly for this type of hotel.
Pros: Location good. Breakfast had nice variety. Room spacious and clean.

The rooms are fairly large and have a full size fridge, dishwasher, etc. The room is stocked with supplies and the beds were comfortable, Could have used extra blankets but we did not ask. Parking is easy. The breakfast hours on the weekend are way too early for us, they close at 9:30a on a Sunday.

We had a 2 night stay over the weekend, the conference room was booked for a party on our 2nd night. Our room was right above the conference room... this hotel is poorly insulated as we heard the music pounding and vibrating our room until the end of the party at midnight. We have girls that had to get up at 3am to get ready for their dance competition. This hotel is not equipped to hold parties in the evenings when their GUESTS are trying to wind down and sleep. The frond desk staff was rude about the whole thing too... i know partially because they had TONS of complaints including one from our neighbor that night... a homeland security officer. I was patient enough not to complain but when hotels usually have QUIET TIME hours after 10pm.... they should also be mindful of their guests. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN FOR THEY WAY WE WERE TREATED. DID NOT GET A REFUND OR ANY COMPENSATION FOR OUR INCONVENIENCE.

Here for a 2 night stay. Staff was rude the moment I checked in.. as if me checking in was an interruption. There was smell of weed in the lobby hallway up to the room. The room was however nice and clean. 2nd night here... there was a party in the conference room on the 1st floor right below our room.... they stated there wasnt a quiet time and the party was booked until midnight. Stated that if i left at 1030pm i wouldnt be charged although i already paid thru Expedia. Terrible answer

Plenty of dining options in the area and a fairly quick drive to UW. The pool and hot tub looked nice, but we didn't use these. The shower head is half functional. Needs replacing. The carpet is torn. Breakfast was always great and available a touch early! Much appreciated. Rooms were just ok on quietness. Could always hear the people above and the snoring next door. So not perfect but I’ll stay again scenario.

In the main it was a good stay with clean and adequate facilities. It is dog friendly & relatively quiet though we could hear the alarm in the room nextdoor as if it were ours. There are several restaurants and parks within walking distance and you can rent a bike and access the wonderful trail system. Negatives: gambling machines in lobby, spotty hot water, terrible coffee, meh breakfast, unwelcoming check-in person.

The room was fine, although not worth what we paid, in my opinion, and some electrical sockets didn't seem to work.

They sure didn't spend much of what we paid them on air conditioning for the hot common areas or for breakfast -- this place had the most modest (skimpy) breakfast buffet I have ever seen. For instance, one container of coffee -- no decaf -- and small cups, maybe so we wouldn't take too much? Some guy was wandering around the room talking loudly on his phone, and I found out he was their staff member in charge of breakfast when he started wandering to each table to tell us he was closing soon and we'd need to finish up soon. Speaking of staff, check-in was also the longest check-in I think I've ever had.

Altogether not a terribly place or stay, but not very professional and definitely overpriced.

The beds were comfortable but very high. I was here for one night only, but the room does have a full sized fridge and small functional kitchen. The breakfast was fine but not great - waffle machines, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, bread, fruit and yogurt. Check in and out was efficient. It's a short drive to Madison, but there's also a bus stop across the street from the hotel.

This is a more extended stay suite than a hotel.
Rooms are a good size, and they come equipped with a stove, fridge, and dishwasher.
The hotel is clean, quiet, and in a good area, close to a Super Saver, and across the road from a bus station, making it easy to travel to downtown and the UW campus without a car.
The staff is not so friendly, they don't smile, and they look grumpy all the time.
Breakfast was not so good, and they clean the rooms after 3 days you staying in the hotel.
And for managers, if they see those comments, one of your employees was with slippers working on breakfast time, and in one day they mop the floor the front of the breakfast room during breakfast hours, this is not safe.
If you are on budget, it is a nice hotel to stay in

No one was available when we arrived & had to call for room keys. One of our 2 rooms was filled with cigarette smoke. Then had to call again for help. Got a room on another floor with no sheets on 2nd bed & no sheets in the room to make a bed. Had to call a 3rd time for help & got a 3rd room on a different floor. No sheets in this room either. Had to call a 4th time and were given sheets to make the bed ourselves. No one was at the front desk the entire time so that is why calling for help each time.

Kitchenette was a pleasant surprise, and we got a large space for the price we paid for. The only things I didn’t like was not knowing it was pet friendly in the rooms since I have allergies.

I also couldn’t get the room to stay a consistent temperature with auto temp control on the wall thermostat. It would get hot before the air kicked in, and the air was super cold, then it would shut off and the process would repeat itself.

mostly quiet. nice bed, but not so great pillows. great option with the little kitchen and a regular table to sit at and eat after a long day working. ok free breakfast. it was what you'd expect. coffee was pretty good though. the bed was bizarrely tall though. an elderly person would literally not be able to get in that bed. lol. there's a grocery store and several restaurants within half a block, and starbucks and more less then a mile away. plus, just 10 minutes from the aliens energy center.

Great hotel.

Great hotel in a nice location for restaurants, coffee and shopping nearby to Alliant Energy Center. The only small complaint would be the pillows they are small square ones that weren’t great. However everything else was wonderful. Highly recommend and in fact our next trip to Kentucky we searched out the same brand hotel.

I have stayed here many times in the past and it has always been a good experience until this time. There was a new girl at the front desk that has nearly zero costumer service skills. I got all unpacked in my room and when I turned on the tv it would not work so I called the front desk and she said she would give me the room next to me instead so I went to get the key to transfer my stuff. When I get to the desk she then tells me I need to get all of my stuff out of my current room first then bring the key down to get the key to the new room. She could have told me this to begin with, before I made the trip down there. So this means I have to repack suitcase and food and leave it all in the hall or tote all it back to the front desk, she states this is policy but on two of my other visits with a broken entry door hinge and a very strong perfume smell when I needed a new room this was not the policy, the staff then was very professional and did not make me the paying customer deal with all the inconveniences for their shortcomings. I’m not sure if I’ll stay here again.

This is a No Frills hotel that was a good price for what they had to offer. The room was clean and comfortable. I slept well in the bed. Not any in-room amenities and the TV remote didn't work very well, but apparently they also have a pool and a hot tub. The morning breakfast was quite generous with food items and the hotel had free parking. I would stay here again for a night or two, but probably not a long-term stay. Very close to restaurants, shopping, and easy to get to from where I was working in Madison.
