We booked last minute due to weather changing our travel plans. We’ve stayed here before and found it excellent. We discovered upon arrival that the hotel was undergoing renovation but the staff were friendly and helpful and we still received everything we were expecting. Our room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. Breakfast was good. Didn’t take advantage of the shuttle but this is a great feature since parking downtown can be challenging and costly. Will definitely stay here again while we have a student at UW..

The hotel is under some major renovation at the moment. The temporary entrance was not really clearly marked. The weather was not great and I feel the hotel could have done a better job with salt and such. Room was clean, although the heater/air conditioner was being held up by a 2x4. Once you stepped out into the hallway or went anywhere in the hotel it felt like you were in the zombie apocalypse!! I understand renovations need to be done but maybe on floor at a time…..or have the price of a night reflect that you were staying during a filming of The Walking Dead!

Black mold in the shower. My girlfriend has 3 stage cancer. We where there for a appointment. Whole place was under construction! Wires hanging down. It was terrible. CONER the manager said he would contact you, to credit back my money gor the room. Did they do that ? Absolutely health Hazzard. Maintenance comes in the room and sprays bleach and fooger to get rid of the spot .i told him my girlfriend has cancer, i said until we leave! He kepted spraying the bleach. The guy didnt speak English! Worst experience ever. Please let me know when I get a refund please?

I was charged twice, from hotels.com, and the hotel. The hotel said I could have the hospital discount as I was there for my child’s medical appointment, and when I called the hotel to refund they said they were unable to help me and text me a random number to call someone else to resolve. Ugh. There was something crusty on the sheets, and I was too tired to ask to change rooms :( The breakfast team was great. The hotel itself is being remodeled, and the check in door is way in the back.

We didn’t know where to go when we were there because it was so close to the hospital so we had a difficult time because we had surgery the next day of finding the opening. We stayed here because its basically right across the street from the VA. The staff were very friendly. We had a Standard room with 1 King bed and it was a small room. The bed was very hard, even for my wife who likes hard beds. Any time we or an adjacent room flushed the toilet, it sounded like the flushing of an airline toilet (very loud!). The continental breakfast was disappointing; your typical powdered eggs and stale bakery items. There are a ton of places around the area to eat, but it's a very busy area especially with all the college students. Parking gets packed really quick and it can be very hard to find a spot, especially later in the evening when most occupants are back at the hotel.

Breakfast menu was better than standard for a hotel. The thing that sets this hotel apart has to be the staff. It’s everyone there! The frontdesk was always kind, helpful, efficient; the housekeeping was also! The shuttle guys were almost all great, one was a little rude, but I would be too driving in that traffic. I do feel the shuttle guys boogie and do a great job, we never waited long, the maintenance people were even friendly! We were on the first floor, the room was a bit tight and the counter in the bathroom was oddly low. I am glad we weren’t at the hotel much, because I would not have enjoyed that. Pool area was very clean also.

We stayed here for Madison’s Coldplay concert. The hotel was extremely accommodating during this stay by offering multiple shuttles to and from the stadium. The welcoming signs (specifically for guests of the concert) were also a nice touch. The hotel is also a perfect location if you wish to walk to UW’s stadium - perhaps a 15 minute walk. Breakfast was good, and plenty of parking is available. And don’t forget to try the ice cream shop across the street!

The staff in the dining room were excellent! They were friendly, efficient and very helpful! The front desk staff were the opposite- not too friendly and didn’t want to be helpful at all. On “game weekends” they should put somebody at the front desk who can multitask and be pleasant and helpful.

Great For Badger Weekend!
We were meeting our family to attend the Badger game. A special trip for grandsons. We were extremely pleased with the shuttle service for our Friday evening dinner. They were decked out for the game with free beads, face tattoos for kids. We didn't use the shuttle but we would on our next trip. At noon prior to the game they had free hot dogs, chips and beer. How nice! Grandsons enjoyed pool. Facility clean and plentiful parking. Only disappointment was breakfast. Powdered eggs not edible. We would definitely stay here again!

I really loved my stay here! The pool and jacuzzi were definitely one of my favorite parts ; super relaxing after a long day. The breakfast was delicious, and the room service food was not only tasty but also came really fast, which I appreciated. My room was cozy, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to feel at home. Overall, this hotel had everything I needed for a great stay, and I’d definitely come back again!
