The freezer was not working in my room. I am insulin dependent diabetic and am traveling by car at least 8 hours a day.And I need frozen ice packs to keep my medicine and food cold when i'm driving. I'm sure that they just need to buy a new unit because I've stayed here many times and the freezers have always worked.

Loved it

One of the best hotel staff I’ve ever had encounters with, Bernadette(?) I think that was her name was very welcoming and kind. My only recommendation would be more variety of breakfast options maybe some fruit or a different bagel flavors. I will definitely try to book here for future Ballyhoo! shows.

Needs updating and air quality control.

The air quality of the room is a major issue. It also feels like people are smoking in rooms. There was a cigarette burn hole in one of the sheets. Despite the smell, it was fairly clean for a space of that age. Linens were fresh, and the water pressure is good. Breakfast is sparse, so prepare to find something else if you need to feed your family.

I had no choice but to stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Aberdeen due to financial struggles—but let me tell you, this place was terrible from the start. You really get what you pay for, and even then, it’s not worth it.

The hook on the bathroom door fell off, the sink was completely stopped up and wouldn’t drain, and there’s no elevator—forcing you to carry heavy luggage up the stairs. The bathroom had no shelves or space to place your toiletries, so I had to put everything on the nasty floor.

To make it worse, I saw a roach crawling behind the sink—just plain disgusting! The so-called “light breakfast” was a joke: only cereal, bagels, coffee, watered-down orange juice, and sugarless apple juice. That’s it. No variety, no effort.

We didn’t receive clean towels or rags during our stay, and when we asked for them, the staff said they didn’t have any. Same with toilet paper—they only give you one roll at a time, which is ridiculous. And yes, there were cops coming around often—not exactly comforting.

This place is dirty, poorly managed, and clearly doesn’t care about guests. I wouldn’t sleep here again if it was free. Zero stars if I could. Just stay far away from this trash!

One word: TRIFLIN’.

I stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Aberdeen because life was life-ing and I had no choice. But whew—NEVER again. This place is a hot mess!

Let’s start with the bathroom: hook fell off the door, sink wouldn’t drain, and no shelves—had to put my stuff on the nasty floor like I was camping. Then a roach came crawling out like he paid rent. Nah!

No elevator, so good luck hauling your luggage up the stairs. Asked for towels? “We don’t have any.” Asked for rags? “We’re out.” Only one roll of toilet paper? What are we supposed to do, ration it?

The “light breakfast” was lighter than air—bagels, dry cereal, and some sad juice. Don’t even get me started on that watery coffee.

And what really had me was the cops showing up like it’s a weekly routine. Y’all, this ain’t it.

I wouldn’t stay here again if it was free. Do yourself a favor—keep scrolling and book somewhere else.

Poor experience

This property has some awesome staff, which is why I like it, however on this stay I had a problem.

A leak developed in the bathroom. When I alerted the overnight desk attendant I woke to go to the bathroom and was greeted by a wet floor, he came to my room right away.

Once in the room he quickly discovered the source of the leak and said he would have maintenance come fix it. Since that was going to take up to two hours he gave me late checkout.

The problem was the water wasn’t cleaned up and nothing was put down so I could safely go in and out of the bathroom. After over two hours had passed I contacted the front desk again and was told the problem couldn’t be fixed while the room was occupied. This was frustrating.

While I could understand, I felt this should have been told to me by the staff person who came to my room to assess the leak. Instead based on what I had been told I waited and couldn’t shower or be in the bathroom for almost four hours. This delayed my plans for the day.

Also once the source of the leak was known the staff should have made sure the water was gotten up and/or put down something so I could be safe.

As the guest I do not think I should have had the responsibility of cleaning it up. I was literally given a mop and 2 thin old rags to get this pool of water up off the bathroom floor.

Hopefully this is a one time occurrence, but I hope these staff people will be further trained to be as customer friendly and oriented as Ms. Brandy.

Stayed New Year's Eve, and the room above us was partying from the time we got back from dinner at 8 pm till 1 am. It was ok when we were up. I called staff to complain then I went up to the front desk to find out what could be done. Staff said he had spoken to the guest and they would quite down. They actually became louder, we ended up being switched to another room which ended up being a smoking room...it was terrible. I definitely do not recommend staying there. Yes I understand it was new years eve but seriously, we thought the ceiling was gonna come down.

Never actually stayed. When I was told where my room was it was behind a back building up some narrow alley and only 1 car can go through at a time. So as I was going back some one was trying to leave and we had to back up and let each other pass. The parking area was surrounded by dumpsters and a fence not well lit, was basically a dark alley. Immediately out side my room door and window was a car that looked like it was recently torched with gasoline. I opened the room door and got blasted by the smell of cigarette smoke and noticed duct tape holding the floor together. Needless to say that was all I needed to see and left instantly.

Very Basic

Very noisy... I guess it's because there's no carpet but you can hear people walking in the hallway. Also, lots of noise from downstairs in the lobby/breakfast area around 5:00 AM. Room is very basic and bathroom is sort of clean but old so doesn't really look clean. Would not stay here again.

The employees were very nice and helpful but it was extremely loud throughout the night we stayed. Over the course of the night- including late night hours like midnight and 1am the hallway outside our room was very loud- doors slamming constantly- not a good night sleep

Needs a lot of updating.

While they are actively updating the place, there were a lot of missed issues with the room and building. Beds were very hard and small. The satellite tv was going in and out when it was sunny out. External doors were not shutting properly. If we didn’t prepay we would have moved hotels.
