The advantage of this location is its proximity to the subway and Futako Tamagawa. It’s an area of Tokyo with few hotel options. Staff were available to answer questions about room appliances. We shopped for breakfast items upon arrival. We were able to have breakfast in the room because it was equipped with 1 pan, plates, silverware and a microwave. I also used the washing machine even though staying only 1 night.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is smaller compared to the ones we stayed in Osaka but still comfortable. The hotel is next to the subway station and it is on the main road. The downside is the noise. You hear siren and speaker announcement 2 or 3 times a day. Our room faces the main road. We think they are fire engines? We got a complain call about us playing music from our laptop on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't loud but the hotel door is not sound proof. So beware of that. I personally find the rules are a bit restrictive. You have to post signs to request for services. For example, we post a sign for towels change and garbage disposal. They did just that but didn't give us toilet paper even though we were down to one. This hotel has Yamato Transport service so it is convenient for those who need luggage delivery service. Overall, it is a nice, clean hotel.

Nice hotel, but no western level of service

The staff are lovely, the room is clean and the location is excellent.

This is not a hotel though. It is what a western person would call a motel. There is no counter service in the middle of night and the front door is card locked, there is no room cleaning service (they just wash your towels, they don't clean your room during your stay). And the furniture has that dated, motel feel (some aspects like the aircon need to be replaced as they're currently too noisy to keep on during the night) It is a bit nostalgic. If you can live with this it is in a great location, and has lovely staff.

Great location away from the usual Tokyo central locations. Excellent location next to the local station for getting around. Being that little bit further out, rooms were bigger. Usual Tokyustay great amenities. The in room washer/drier walkways so very welcome and helps keep packing light..

This is a great stay in Yōga! Hotel has great location, great staff, comfortable beds, great showers is directly across street from Yōga station and close to many restaurants/bars
If you want to check out a great neighborhood in Setagaya, go to Yōga and stay at Tokyu Stay Yōga- highly recommended

Location at Yoga station makes travel throughout Tokyo, by train or bus, very easy.
Have stayed at this property 7 or 8 times and have never had a problem

Yoga Bed without Breakfast

After an initial misunderstanding of the booking (1 room, 2 people as opposed to 1 room, 1 person) stay was uneventful.
Hotel is well located in a quiet area of Setagaya(not a spot for nightlife) at Yoga station which is on good line for travel to Shibuya and other spots in Tokyo.

This hotel is conveniently located with a great access to Yoga Station which offers frequent train rides. I recommend the station for people who want a quieter surroundings and willing to travel on trains or buses to go to Shibuya, etc. 15-20 min train rides to Shibuya.

Nothing luxurious, but the rooms are clean and come with washer/dryer and kitchenettes. You can travel light and it’s great for business trips.

Small but perfectly formed.

Small but comfortable, clean, well equipped hotel room in the Yōga area of Tokyo. Right next door to the metro station (but you wouldn't know it. Very quiet). Courteous and helpful staff. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend and use again.

This was a good choice for our stay in Tokyo. Adjacent to Yoga railway station which meant it was easy to get anywhere. A nice quiet neighbourhood with nearby supermarket and konbini. Also close to Coffee Kan and Starbucks as well as bakeries, local restaurants, etc. Especially nice to have was the kitchen facilities and clothes washer/dryer. A real bonus.

This hotel is literally right next to Yoga station on Den-en-toshi line. Great hub to get into Shibuya quickly. Plenty of places to eat and buy travel related goods very close by. Hotel is quiet, has ample space in room by Japanese standards including kitchenette, clothes washer and pants press. At very affordable rate...if you're looking to see Japan and not hang out at your hotel all day...you cant beat the value.

Pretty small but clean and efficient. Staff was pleasant, except one guy. Plenty of resources within walking distance. The station is right there and only one stop to FT and 5 more stops to Shibuya.

Oddities: no room for suitcases, so we moved out a table. Washer/dryer combo and tv remote english instruction terrible, but they work okay after some trial and error. A load takes about 2-3 hours to finish dry, depends on size.

English is very limited and apparently the translation apps aren’t good.

If you stay less than a week, then maid service is daily. But if you stay longer, maid service is once a week. We started drying our towels in the dryer, since a fresh one costs $3/day.

The cost was about $130 a night after taxes, so we may try something new next time.

あまり日本住まいの方にも知られていないエリアですが、都心へのアクセスは抜群です。近くは静かな住宅街ですが、日本のスーパー、コンビニ、居酒屋、レストランまでコンパクトに揃えられています。部屋内に小さなキッチン、洗濯乾燥機もあり秀逸。あえていうとチェックインタイムの柔軟性が少し低く残念でした。

Comfortable, clean, reasonably quiet (could sometimes hear ambulance sirens thru the sliding patio door, but not objectionable).

Having the mini-fridge/kitchenette was nice. Didn't use the washer, but it had English instructions.

Had enough hangers in the closet, but desk surface was rather small & short of drawer space. (Room was compact, as would be expected in Tokyo!)

Good for a longer stay with some kitchenware and washing/dryer in the room. Typical unit bath (shower, Japanese bathtab and toilet in one unit). Very clean. Right on top of the Yoga substation.10-minute train ride to Shibuya, and one station to FutakoTamagawa (Niko-Tama). Good places to eat around the station as well.

Business hotel across street from subway

This small room had everything including one burner stove and combo compact washer/dryer. Fresh towels daily but no room clean for less than four days. Too far out of the center of town for us tourists as it took 45 min to an hour to get from major sites. Staff spoke almost no English. Grocery store about 1 block away. Several restaurants nearby including Japanese, ramen, Italian , and an excellent Indian restaurant called Ali Baba. Quiet area of town and quiet hotel.

Convenient and well priced hotel

I used to have an apartment in Yoga so biased towards the district. As I normally have meetings along denen-toshi line it is perfect for me. The deal I had did not include making the bed and such everyday but got clean towels and so on so the room was still kept clean. Price is great for Tokyo so book early. They have family rooms as well although latest time I stayed in a single room. Normally very sold out as price is great for what you get.

Yoga is about 14 minutes from Shibuya on denen-toshi line. It is only one stop to Futako-Tamagawa where you have all shopping you can ask for. Great little restaurants between Yoga and Sakura-Shimmachi.

I was doing business in the neighborhood, and Tokyu Stay Yoga was an absolutely convenient choice. First, it's literally next door to the Yoga train station, so you have immediate access to the entire Tokyo metro system. Second, it's one stop away from the Futako-Tamagawa station, which is the terminus of the limousine bus service from Narita, so to get her from Narita, take the bus, then hop on the metro for a 2-minute ride, and there you are. The Yoga neighborhood itself is fairly low-key and residential, but there are a few little restaurants around and (my favorite) two supermarkets an easy walk away where you can get great prepared food to eat in your room -- which comes with a complete kitchenette. And if you crave the big city, it doesn't get any bigger than Shibuya for restaurants, lights, and nightlife, and it's only 14 minutes away (no changing lines) on the Den-entoshi line from Yoga. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms immaculate. All in all, a fine choice.

great area, nice room

In some ways, this is simply a functional place to be - the room is a little larger than the average efficiency hotel in Japan, though, and includes a mini-kitchen and a washer and dryer, which was really helpful for me. I like that in the room where I stayed there was a balcony looking out over the town. Even better, there is a beautiful park about ten minutes away on foot called Kinuta. Don't miss that. The hotel is also on a station on the Den-En Toshi Line, which is convenient.
