Absolutely amazing staff from the minute we walked into the hotel. No elevator and we had very heavy bags so they delivered them to our door. We had to check out an hour before breakfast so they made us a fresh breakfast at 7:30am. Went to their bar and very friendly bartenders. Offered excellent suggestions for going around town. Parking was on street and super convenient. Hotel was very clean and looked recently updated. Definitely 5 star for us!

Cons: Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Noise. No elevator - had to drag our luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs and staff to help (ages: 85, 79, 80, 68). Only 3 parking spots for entire hotel/restaurant and very little street parking available. Probably wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to friends.

This little family run establishment should be full each and every day. The rooms are spacious (there’s only 10) and super comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs - BEST meal we had on the trip. Absolutely loved our stay and we’re already planning our return trip!

On checking in and having dinner the experience was excellent, the room was dated and basic but suitable to my needs for a place to stay on a business trip. After a long day, I looked forward to getting into bed and much to my annoyance, all I could hear were loud voices, The Cranberries being played on repeat loudly and dishes being moved around. This was approx 10.30pm. On picking up the phone in the room to call, it did not work so I had to call the hotel from my mobile and the gentleman on reception said it was the kitchen I was over and said he would have the music turned off. Then at 4.30am I was awoken by the room overhead walking around and the flooor boards creaking as they moved and again at 6.30am. There was not tea/coffee i the room so I had to go for a walk to a local store at 7am to buy a coffee as breakfast is not served till 8.30 in the hitel and I was leaving at that time

Great value in Kinsale. Nice pub/restaurant on site, or you can walk to the heart of Kinsale in about 5 minutes. Parking is on-street but we found close parking both nights. Would stay there again!

If you stay here, ask for a remodeled room. The beds in our room were hard, surface level cleaning was done, but there were definitely some questionable spots in the bathroom… staff were kind breakfast was good… The price was high based on other hotels in the area.

The address on hotels.com was a little off and it took us down the wrong street - it took us a few minutes to figure out where it was.
Our TV was a little wonky, but the owner came up straight away to fix it, and he bought us a drink at the bar for the inconvenience.

Excellent on all counts. Anthony was a superb host along with accommodating us ad-hoc for a second night. Good food too and pleasant efficient staff. Only negative is parking, with only 3 spaces at site. Public parking is roughly 100 metres up a steep hill road.

The room was a bit tired. The party noise outside was pretty intolerable. If you can sleep through anything, then this location is worth it. The windows are not enough to block out the very loud party noise outside that went past midnight. The manager we met was a tall heavy fellow that was quite loud and friendly at first, then obnoxious.
Kisale is a very nice town and this location is good. If you can sleep though the loud noise I would stay here. But I personlaly wouldn't again.

The staff is very nice. Owner involved all day in operation and is very nice and very helpful. We booked two nights and stayed only one as the noise from the street was impossible. We ended up paying for two nights.
