This modern, four star hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the main Cork Airport terminal giving it excellent proximity for pre and post flight accommodation. A shuttle or taxi service also operates to the terminal.

In keeping with the hotel's airport location, the hotel's lobby and ground floor interior has a unique yet stylish aviation theme. Bedrooms are well-appointed and spacious with satellite LCD TV, tea and coffee making facilities, black out blinds and a modern bathroom.

In addition there are 2 restaurants, a hotel bar and lobby as well as 24-hour room service. WiFi is free throughout the hotel.

Complimentary on site parking is available for overnight guests. The hotel is just 15 minutes' drive from Cork City centre making it a useful base for business or leisure visitors to the area.

Please note that Cork International Airport Hotel will be undergoing internal refurbishment from March 15th until May 31st 2013. This will not affect the bedrooms but will affect the public areas (bar, restaurant & lobby).

In the hotel, everything was good. My one complaint is about accessibility. Though the hotel is a short distance from the airport terminal, there no signposts or directions from there to the hotel, or from the hotel to the terminal. The area around the hotel is a business park, a confusing labyrinth of streets and buildings, with no direction signs. If there’s a shuttle between the hotel and the airport terminal, there’s no sign.

The publicity makes a great deal of their chesterfield furniture, yet when you try to sit on one with a drink you have bought from the bar, you are told that half of the bar is closed, you can use a booth. Oh but not the one you have chosen. The place is run for the staff not the residents. The clock in the room tells you the time - in New Zealand!

Hotel is always clean, comfortable and accommodating ! This trip things were slightly off: the room was slightly outdated, lamp shades had cracks / tears and carpet hard several stains, snags, chairs had lint all over, missing hotel directory from room ?, the shower temp was constantly changing too hot, then freezing and back to super hot, the shower had very little pressure and most of the water was flowing into the tub and not through the shower nozzle(had to hold this otherwise not much water) The hotel was extremely busy and this may have been a factor, dated:old rooms were dispatched to patrons. The food was good but not great and that also was disappointing !

(Much) Better Than Your Average Airport Hotel

The hotel isn't far from the airport, but as the weather was being very Irish at midnight, the hotel sent their shuttle which appeared within 5 minutes.

Night reception was good, got me a Guiness even though it was after midnight,

The room was warm and comfortable, albeit with a small bathroom with no space to unpack your toiletries. TV great, bed comfortable room spacious.

Breakfast was excellent. Aside from the friendly service, what separates this from other airport hotels is that the general ambience is one of a modern country hotel, with Chesterfields near reception (the washrooms are fantastic), cosy bars and lots of books lying around.

Convenient and comfortable

Great location for Cork airport. I walked to the terminal. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. TV channel selection kept crashing and I had to restart the tv. The air conditioning controller didn’t heat to a comfortable temperature and I switched it off in the end. Otherwise a great stay.

Fabulous Airport Gem

The room was exceptionally clean. Large room with huge comfy bed. Had everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent. Staff super friendly and proactive. Lovely atmosphere. A real gem.
