We had a short stay as a family to visit Blarney Castle and the surrounding area. The room was nice, but staff was not super helpful when making transportation arrangements to leave for Dublin airport. We made it to the airport in time, but were completely on our own with finding options.
Dianna
Wonderful hotel walking distance to Blarney castle. It was great for our one night stay and included made to order breakfast was perfect. Only complaint was room was very hot - there were fans in the rooms which helped a little. Otherwise great stay!!!
Sharon
All the staff were friendly and efficient. Room was quite a good size and fairly modern, but bathroom needs to be ripped out. It really let the room down. Badly maintained, black grout around bath and very old fashioned.
Location was fine. We parked and got bus into Cork City - approx 30 mins.

Absolutely gorgeous property, wonderful staff, and of course, the shopping!
Melissa
Beautiful spot. Staff was wonderful. Accommodations were great.
Melissa
If you want a hotel this is one for the books. So clean and attractive. All the conveniences in one. Shopping and restaurants and just a short walk to Blarney Castle. So happy we booked this one. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I will be booking this one again. Love Love Love
Must stay.
Must stay.

The staff were so pleasant! The grounds and hotel were so beautiful. The rooms did not have A/C and they were warmer than the main floor of the hotel. It was a lovely stay overall. Our favorite part was the bar in the lobby.
Heather
Very nice hotel. We checked in late and the staff seemed a bit unsure on the process, perhaps it wasn't his usual role, so it took a little longer but they were still very friendly. No air conditioning in rooms which we noticed as we were traveling during a heatwave, so our room was incredibly warm. The included breakfast was wonderful and the location is incredibly convenient for visiting the Blarney Castle. Not many food options in the area late at night so be warned! We had to eat Mcdonalds as the hotels restaurant was no longer serving food and all other places in the area were closed.
Lurcan
The property is amazing and the food is amazing.

Only problem view over roofs probably because we made the booking through Hotels. Com??

Wonderful stay in a crowded tourist area. Beds were plush and warm. Room was beautiful with lounging bathtub. Drapes made of the most beautiful wool! Staff were happy and helpful in spite of all the tours coming in. We were not in a tourist group.
Amazing location! Parked the car and walked to mills/store and all around the castle grounds.
Pub Food was delicious: freshest vegetables, tender meat and kind wait staff. Cold rainy night and the food was hot and yummy!
My husband bought his first wool golf cap and the salesman spent a long time with fit and quality - see the pic.

If you’re traveling in the summer, be aware that this hotel doesn’t have air conditioning. We were provided with two small fans, but were told that we were unable to have any additional fans. It was an unhealthy environment to sleep in.
Jodi
Great hotel close to the Blarney Stone! Only bad thing no AC on a 80 degree day which is rare for Ireland and we were dying of heat the 2 nights we stayed with them. Amazing food close by and loved the wollen mills store. Breakfast was amazing!
Gillian
Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Loved the beautiful setting and gorgeous view from our room. Would be thrilled to stay here again.
Mathieu
Beautiful hotel setting. Our room was ok in size, but very clean! Free parking is a plus because your are near Blarney castle. Service at hotel and restaurant (dinner at Christy’s ) was just ok, not great but food was good. The set up for breakfast is beautiful and with lots of choice. The staff at breakfast (the mill) was very friendly and helpful
Kathleen
We stayed here one night in June 2026. The room was very comfortable and clean. The check in staff was friendly and it was quick. The breakfast was sufficient and you can order eggs, pancakes etc if you prefer. All in all a lovely place to stay.
Catherine
The room and bathroom were very clean with ample shower gel and shampoo. The hotel's restaurant was very good with a varied menu and amplr portions. All the staff were very helpful from the reception staff to the staff in The Mill where breakfast was served.
Blarney Woollen Mills is very busy at all times selling high quality products and is worth visiting whilst there.

Their restaurant is in the cafe for the Blarney mill visitor centre. Breakfast is served in a roped off area. Food is very good however.

Laurel
It's a well maintained property and very pretty in a beautiful setting. So convenient to visit the castle as it's a short walk between the two. Plenty of restaurants within short walking distance. Easy to get public transportation to and from Cork.
The room was fine in terms of amenities and layout. The room was hot with beds as hard as stones as all hotel rooms seem to be in Ireland.
The breakfast that is included was really good. Best we'd come across throughout our travels in Ireland.
Overall, relatively good value for the money.

Great breakfast. Room was extremely clean. Bathroom dated but otherwise a very comfortable stay.

My favorite place to stay in Ireland.
LAURIE
What a beautiful hotel nestled in the hills of Blarney! From the moment you walk in the gorgeous lobby and there is fruit infused water, to the excellent service, room, and incredible breakfast...I have all praise. The area is bustling with tourists visiting Blarney Castle & grounds, but somehow this hotel is peaceful inside. The room was comfortable and I loved that it had a window seat, coffee/tea, and a bathtub. The breakfast is amazing!! Beautiful bar of delights and hot breakfast menu items to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel, which gives time to walk to/around and explore the Blarney castle grounds and have a place to refresh.
dominick
Staff amazing , big issue with heat in the room , no air con , almost impossible to sleep with the prevailing conditions at the time .
George
Breakfast was wonderful. Be early or a bit later after first wave of tourists or you may have to wait in a lineup to eat. Reception was great and went to castle in am before checkout. Just walked over!
Brian
Lovely hotel, can't find a fault
Gregg
Easy parking and check in. Staff was great, nice room, onsite dining was nice.
Jerome
Breakfast was amazing! Staff were great, very friendly. Loved our stay!
Nate
This is the best place to stay if you want to enjoy the Blarney Castle. Free parking for guests and great complimentary breakfast in the morning. Being attached to a pub was great to have a pint in the evening.
Mike
Property had an event and it went on most of the night and really didnt gwt much sleep. Could have been roomed away the event and had the folks involved roomed closer to it. Since there weren't sleeping anyway?
Elizabeth
Yummy breakfast and great location! Want to go back as we were there too short of a stay!
Kathy
Modern rooms, lovely hotel, breakfast included was a nice treat. Offered discount coupon to Woolen Mills next door. Easy walk to Blarney Castle and right in town.
Patrick
We were impressed as we entered into the property. We love the look of the renovated mill feel. We were disappointed if they were a refrigerator in that room. I like all the other amenities were huge. Jim was a little outdated, could definitely use a refresh.
Linda
One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Loved the long bathtub and heated towel bar. The grounds and public spaces are lovely and peaceful. A wonderful hot breakfast was included with our stay. All staff we encountered were friendly. It was great to walk to Blarney village and castle. Shopping at the Woolen Mill store was fun. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!
Steve
Great place to stay if you're visiting the castle. Such a close walk we were among the first to kiss the stone.
Richard
Lobby maintained well. Breakfast excellent. Rooms older but maintained. Bathrooms could do with an update. Beds comfortable
Don
This was a perfect spot! Right next to the Blarney Castle with lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance and parking in the lot right out front. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean and we appreciated (and took advantage of!) the discount cards for the Blarney Woollen Mills next door. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We only stayed here one night but would definitely come back if we return to the area!
Barbara
This was the best property I stayed in in ireland. Charming, clean, well-located, good rooms, tasty breakfast and welcoming staff.
Diana
Clean room and comfy bed. Beautiful hotel and area. The staff was very helpful.
Easy walk to Blarney Castle. Shopping at the Woollen Mills was great!
Would love to stay here again.

Great time and best location.

I’m a hotel snob so didn’t love this place. Felt very touristy and a bit shabby. But the room was big, bed comfortable, and lobby pretty.
Tammy
The breakfast menu was outstanding!

A warm and professional welcome at check-in

Lovely breakfast with made to order menu items. Lovely servers/wait staff

Crystal
A beautiful property with a beautiful room. The grounds also have a wonderful retail store at the castle is transcendent. Highly recommend staying in this area and selecting this hotel. Thank you for the hospitality.
Haley
We used this as a stopping point between Kilkenny and Killarney. The hotel was great with nice spacious rooms. Beds were very comfortable and there were nice showers. Breakfast was not included but was available at the property, along with dinner. We ended up not eating at the hotel but only because we had other plans. The woolen mill shop is also located on site. At check in they gave us each a 10% discount which we happily used. Blarney itself did not have much going on but the castle is walking distance. The proximity allows you to get in to the castle as they open to avoid the crowds. It’s also very close to Cork if you’re looking for more to do.
Michelle
Stunning property - great location
Andrew
Breakfast was great. Staff at front counter were fairly friendly but not overly helpful.
Fitness area was in poor shape.

The staff and breakfast were great. The room was fine, the only disappointment was no air-conditioning and the room was quite warm. We tried to open the windows, but there was no screens and the bugs were getting in. The grounds and buildings were wonderful.
Hillary
Great location, pretty lobby, good breakfast.
Garry
Breakfast was awesome, had a menu to choose from or you can go to the buffet for fresh fruits , breads/pastry , yogurts juices.
Patrick
Very clear room and excellent breakfast
James
We had a lovely stay.
sarah
The hotel was clean and the food plus service at the restaurant for dinner was fantastic. The shower had no hot water and when told the front desk the staff didnt care. Our friends had a room next to ours and they also had no hot water, so it wasnt just our room. Location to the Blarney castle was great.
Kelly

Rooms were fine but breakfast was very poor. Coffee was awful. Tea had a horrible after taste and breakfast very greasy. All was deep fat fried.

Short walk to the castle, if you dine there, the food portions are very large, Maybe share. Stayed with 4 people but had to shop it for 3. Traveled with children. My youngest slept in the King with us, he’s small. The property had no issues with the extra child.
Hilda
Was a loveky stay, from the receptionist to the bar staff/ breakfast staff, all lovely, the hotel was really quint, fab, would recomande it to others,
Crystal
Very nice hotel, walking distance to Blarney Castle and Gardens dining options available and delicious. Shopping also close for souvenirs. Breakfast was amazing, room was clean, shower was hot with good water pressure.
Lidia
Best breakfast we had here in Ireland! Rooms were spacious and bed was super comfortable! Highly recommended!!
Ray
This pretty hotel is located right next to the Blarney Castle. The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was included. There is also a pub and a restaurant on site.
Recommend visiting the castle first thing before the tour buses arrive. Then come back for breakfast and then spend some time shopping in their 3 story emporium.

Check-in and check-out were straight forward. The bedroom was quiet and the beds comfortable. The breakfast had a good cold/buffet selection, reasonable coffee and hot food cooker to order.

We really enjoyed the freshness of our food
Lisa
Second visit here in the past year and a half. A favorite place! The food is amazing. Will definitely return a third time!
Amber
We loved our stay at Blarney woolen mills! It is located in an adorable little village, but also within walking distance to the main road, shopping, food, and especially blarney castle!
The only downside was that the rooms did not have AC considering the age of the building(my bad for not double checking before booking), I know the hotel is working toward it though. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they made sure to make sure we were comfortable and provided the fans we needed during the rare heatwave! Breakfast was delicious and quick. We would love to visit again soon!
