It was a very comfortable and safe place to stay.
Kerrie
Beautiful house in great location. Easy 10 to 15 min walk to town. We brought cheese and wine at the markets and staff were happy to help with plates and glasses. Fire lit entry night. Best hotel bed EVER!!
Charles
Nice - but old ! The Dog is a leading feature! Woof!
Pamela
We loved our stay. We received a warm welcome from the owner and her staff as soon as we arrived. Very inviting space and cozy. Breakfast was wonderful. Loved having the owner’s two dogs on site - they were so loving and fun to be around.
Lily
Incredibly welcoming, warm, and beautiful property. Dierdre went above and beyond in every way. The seaside views are spectacular, and nearly everything you would hope to see in Cobh is within walking distance. I hope I’m fortunate enough to be able to return!
Rhet
Very quaint and fun place to stay. Staff were great and brought a fun energy to the place.
Shelly
We stayed in a twin room and the beds were very soft and uncomfortable. The towels were thin and scratchy. The skeleton key to our room made it very hard to open the room. The bathroom sink drained slow, the shower door kept going off its rail and the hot water took awhile to heat up (although there was a note about it in the room). Nice enough place but it didn’t work well for us. Thank goodness we only reserved one night.
Laurie
I enjoyed the breakfast with the delicious selection of cheese.
Rebecca
Recommended for a long weekend. Dierdre and staff are excellent. The property is close to the tourist areas to walk, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing.
The view is good and the grounds very nice.
There's a bit of quirkiness in the hot water as you have to let it run for about 5 minutes, but the water pressure and shower were excellent and made up for the slow hot water.

Outside of the bed being slanted, everyone there was lovely, the room was beautiful, and it was a very close walk to town.

The people were awesome, and the property absolutely gorgeous!
Lorie
Quaint, charming BnB in older building. Room and common areas very homey. (Room a bit crowded with extra furniture - could pare down to one chair so that there is room for suitcases) Nice simple breakfast.
Janet
Lovely little place.
Lovely place, we stayed in the cabin which was beautifully furnished, lovely finishing touches, great private space to relax in. Everything we needed and much more. Amazing breakfast choices in the main house. Cobh is a lovely little town.

Strange breakfasts
Everything was really nice. Deidre was so friendly and kind. She made dinner reservations for us and gave us walking directions to the restaurant. Breakfast time was a little strange, we opted for the continental breakfast both days, and because we weren’t in the dining room at a certain time, someone came and knocked on our door wondering where we were, granted we were ten minutes past the time we wrote on breakfast request form, but we didn’t require any prepared food, just coffee and a croissant. The server was lovely though. The second morning it was just odd, we were treated like an inconvenience, like they didn’t expect us, even though we returned our breakfast form with all three names on it, requesting again, just continental breakfast. The two that were working were just unpleasant and made our last morning there very uncomfortable. Every table in the dining area was dirty, so it’s not like we were keeping them from closing the room. The B&B itself was nice, secluded and quiet with a great view. It is a little rundown however, and could definitely use some detailing.

Loved our stay here - wish we could have stayed another night. We stayed in the Cabin which was so cozy & homey. The bed was comfortable & everything was clean. The owner was amazing. So kind and welcoming. Also helpful for dinner ideas. One of the favorite places we stated in Ireland!
Dana
Great stay for myself and my daughter! The poodle puppy host was wonderful and made me feel at home, since my dogs were not with me on this trip. Wonderful breakfast too!

It was a lovely property and Deirdre was such a nice hostess. It was the first time I stayed at a B&B and I was traveling with my daughter through Ireland. Deirdre helped us with dinner reservations in town and assisted us with local attractions and church options for Sunday Mass. If ever traveling that way again, I would love to come back to Robin Hill.

The Robin Hill House was beautiful and the staff were warm and accommodating! Beautiful views from the house and close to town.

The host was very welcoming and the property was beautiful.
Kayla
Ms. Dierdre, the proprietor, was amazing. She was welcoming, helpful, and so, so kind. The house was amazing with a roaring fireplace and comfy chairs. It's the kind of place you could truly make yourself at home.
The breakfast was EXCELLENT! And the add-on options were delicious! We got the bacon and eggs and were so glad we did, it was the perfect addition to the already plentiful breakfast. Make sure to try the overnight oats that she makes herself. They are the best I've ever had!
The women helping Ms. Dierdre were as sweet as her, super helpful, and very accommodating for our six-year old.
We are already planning another trip to stay with her for a longer time.
All our love, Ms. D!

Excellent accommodation.
My stay was first class, hostess was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful.
Adam
What a great B&B! The staff are so hospitable and friendly. I felt completely taken care of. There is a nice sitting area where they have coffee and tea and biscuits. The beds were comfortable and everything was top-notch. They had the fluffiest and most comfortable towels of any place I’ve stayed.
Michael
Dee checked me in and provided all the info I would need for my stay. Later, I was invited to join a reunion of Dee's friends. We had a lovely evening of conversation, laughs, singing, and music. I felt right at home.
Giovanna
Beautiful place to hang your hat
Robin House was a great little place to stay in Cork. It is well maintained and the room was just beautiful with a very comfortable bed and linens. We were met by a great woman who showed us around and we sat by this awesome fire as she offered us a cocktail which was awesome after driving all day. Breakfast was very filling. The Irisin love their big breakfasts. Would highly recommend.
Janet
Lovely, very comfortable, best bathroom on our trip, walking distance to sightseeing
David
Comfy and Kind Place!
Great location on a quiet street. Breakfast was great! Love Cobh and the Robin house was a great place to enjoy the area!
Trudy
Lovely property with all the staff being very helpful and friendly.
Amanda
We had the best time staying at this beautiful property. Deirdre was the kindest, most generous host. The hospitality is unmatched and the location is beyond dreamy. We enjoyed the breakfast so much as well as the delicious in-house cocktails. We can’t wait to come back!
Andrew
Not impressed with the selection of continental breakfast items
Nancy
Adequate but not our favorite spot
Overall the property was ok but compared to other Inns that we stayed in was not quite as nice. The room was a bit cramped for three, but beds were comfortable. Staff was nice but not as friendly as our other stays. The breakfast was also not quite as good as what our other Inns provided. The location was out of easy walking distance so had to drive into the town to park and see the local sites. Cruise ships also stop in Cobh so be aware of the crowds when they port.
Stephanie
Amazing views, lots of parking, and lots of fun little touches to this beautiful home. The staff was all so nice and helpful. We had a great breakfast for about 15 euros. We would definitely come back.
John
Just fantastic. A pleasure to stsy at this most beautiful property. Everything was fabulous.
Ralph
Our favorite stay on our road trip. Absolutely lovely house and great breakfast. The owner was very sweet and helpful in every way. Would love to go back sometime

Property of character
JENNIFER
Slightly dated but this added to the charm of this historic bed and breakfast. Close by to the town center of Cobh. On site parking convenient as well. We didn’t eat breakfast but it looked delicious.
Lisa
Was a great place to stay as we visited Cobh. Staff was very friendly
Judy
Love love love!!! Everyone should stay here!!
Phil
The proprietor welcomed us warmly and treated us like visiting family. Her attitude combined with the ambiance of the place made for a most enjoyable stay. If we ever find ourselves in Cobh again, we will beat a path to Robin Hill House.
David
Property was noisy and room was very crowded with small bathroom.
Maureen
It was very homely, quiet the people were friendly. It didn’t have a lift and again as with all Irish property it doesn’t have air conditioning.
Carole
Our stay at RHH was exceptional. The property and house are gorgeous. Deirdre and staff were genuinely warm and gracious and made you feel at home. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Only disappointment was that we only stayed one night! We will definitely be back. Truly special.
Verna
Large selection of breakfast items. Gardens were very nice and calming.
Marcy
Room was extremely tiny, no AC, trash left in wardrobe. Charged for coffee in morning!
Rosemary
My second visit to Robin Hill House and it's been lovely both times. Breakfasts option are excellent and the owner is wonderful. I will come again! #justlikehome
Jessica
First off the staff was amazing, friendly, so sweet. But sadly the Robin Hill House did not meet our expectations. The pictures seem to have the beauty filter on. While the place is quaint, it’s musty smell, very small rooms, and tiny shower in our room left us wanting more.. This is not a 4 star lodging. Maybe 2.5-3. Breakfast was delicious and our bed was very comfortable. This place needs to have some TLC. Also there isn’t much close by in terms of food options.
Patrick
Very nice secluded B&B. Very friendly staff, Ann was super helpful with local tourist and historical information.
Breakfast was wonderful- don’t forget to add that to your reservation.

Historic building with beautiful grounds and view. Very close to the attractions in Cobh. Deirdre and her staff are warm and friendly and the continental breakfast was excellent.

Hoping to return soon! Thanks Deirdre!
The Robin Hill House is clean, easy to get to and very safe. We appreicated all the hospitality and kindness from Deirdre, the owner. We were able to linger over our delightful breakfast as we chatted with other guest. What a perfect stay!

It was a lovely place! I really enjoyed staying there, the house, the staff and service makes you feel as your home!

This place was so quaint, relaxing and beautiful. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to town so not too far, and we enjoyed our stay and the host!
Cindy

A treasure in Cobh
The proprietress was lovely and could not have been more helpful or charming! We are so grateful and will definitely be back. Of particular note is the cozy fire that was lit for us when we returned from dinner. Perfect evening!

A very pleasant and comfortable Victorian house. All staff that I interacted with were charming and very helpful. The weather was pretty awful but still managed to walk into town (15 minutes) for dinner.
Darlene
Deidre was fun to talk to. Very caring. Very kind. Has added many touches wverywhere to make it pleasant.

Bedroom was nice but bathroom needed a deep clean. Towels were hard. Explained these issues to lady and she took the comments on board, but no apology. Re the towels she just said we are in a hard water area but so were our next 2 hotels and towels were soft. On leaving 2 days later a bin outside the front door was still overflowing with rubbish as it was the day we arrived.

This hotel was expensive for the condition of the rooms and the building is very run down
Also we had to leave the dog in the car
Should be dog-friendly

Lovely small hotel 20 minutes walk from rail station via high road. Access is from Lake road although Google shows the back of the hotel. Watch out for church spire then walk towards the hotel flags to find the entrance. Attactive front garde.

Dee is so warm and hospitable. She went out above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Robin Hill it Toby he had ddsddddd House feels homey yet elegant. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast - included in the cost - was delightful. I would highly recommend Robin Hill House. It is located in the beautiful and historically rich village of Cobh.

Robin Hill House was beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. Deirdre and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also wonderful. We were able to walk to town and see the sights, eat dinner and have a pint.

Nothing is too much trouble.
Fabulous place with the most friendly host. She went the extra mile for us in securing a table at a local restaurant when we arrived later than scheduled. Lovely staff too. Great breakfast.
Diane
Dee was very gracious as a hostess. Beautiful property with many flowers.

It is very clear that the owner and staff at Robin Hill House care deeply for their operations and clients. I highly recommend this property😎

Dee the owner was amazing…. So welcoming, friendly, and helpful… She even gave us a ride downtown to see the cathedral.!

Comfortable stay
Very comfortable setting and will certainly return.

My sister and I stayed here for one night on an Ireland road trip and we wish we had planned for another night in Cobh. Upon arrival Dee was so friendly and welcoming and was flexible with a late check-in. Our room was very comfortable and clean and breakfast was delicious and filling. Robin Hill house is set on a quiet street about 20 minutes walking from the center of Cobh. We had a nice walk down to town and were able to safely walk home after an evening in the pubs. I highly recommend a stay at Robin Hill House!

The B&B was very nice and the lady running it was very nice also. They say continental breakfast was included but we ended up getting charged for it. Be careful and make sure you know what you are getting and have to pay for.
Susan
Very pleased
We had a most delightful stay! The place was absolutely charming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything needed. The breakfast was delicious and the host, Dee, was a delight to talk with!

Not a bad little place.

A Must place to stay in Cobh!
Where to begin? . . . The property is beautiful, the location is ideal, the staff is exceptional! My husband and I had a beautiful room that overlooked the bay. The bed was SO comfy. The breakfast was amazing - highly recommend upgrading to made to order breakfast for ONLY 5 Euros. The service was above and beyond. Upon arrival I had motion sickness and vertigo from the bus ride and unfortunately stayed uneasy for a couple days. Staff brought tea and toast and were incredibly hospitable. Everything about Robin Hill House is lovely. We will definitely be back. I only wish they had more locations!!
Paul
Excellent food, lovely room, pleasant atmosphere.

Back-breaking Bed
This BnB has very nice decor and our room had a lovely bathroom. The bed however was so bad that I made a palet on the floor after trying to sleep in it for 20 minutes and my daughter gave up after 2 hours and made a palet on the floor.

One of the best beds I've ever slept in. Everyone there was very friendly, helpful and even though I was only there one night, made my stay peaceful and welcoming. A cozy fire in the living room, a chance to meet new people and a spacious, quiet bedroom - if you're looking at Robin Hill, stop looking and book it before they fill up!!

Small Cohh B&B
Hotel is a long, uphill walk from town and nearest restaurants are a good 20min walk. So quite isolated unless you have a car. Room is spacious but heating is erratic to non-existant in bedroom (outside temps below 7). I knocked on managers door several times to have it sorted but no reply despite my hearing noises within. Wifi weak in bedroom.
Dawn
Cozy and welcoming.
We loved the warm cozy fire in the lounge. Staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful.
Kathleen
Deirdre was so hospitable and made us feel right at home. She was also a wealth of information for the things we wanted to do in Cobh. The Robin Hill House was very comfortable, with a wood burning cozy family room, our room had a comfy bed and we very much appreciated the towel warmee in our bathroom! Highly recommend!

Very strange place. Marketed as holistic and relaxing it was old and strange. Wifi only available in sitting area and limited seating.
Quite aways from town and very curvy drive - would return to Cobh but stay closer to town.

Charged my credit card 3 weeks prior to arrival!
Difficult to locate , older home poorly maintained. Entire house smelled of marijuana, explained it was part of therapy
Thought breakfast was good until owners black dog stood up next to food serving table to steal food from table several times, staff didn’t think it was a big deal. Very expensive for what you get.

The proprietor was as welcoming and charming as anyone could be. Diedre’s personality was quintessential Irish. Her property was impeccable, service was excellent, and her personal warmth infectious. I would stay at Robin Hill House anytime.
Cathy
This property is very worn out. The pictures of the furnishings are definately not what is reality. The furnishings are all worn out, the mattress was worn out it is just not as it appears at all
