If you paid to stay at this hotel, you have already paid too much. The only redeeming quality of this place is the staff, they were friendly and polite. As for the building, to call this hotel \"dated\" is an understatement as it is right out of the 1960s. The room was hot and the AC was not working properly. We opened the windows to cool off, but the area around the hotel was not great. It was noisy and smelled like diesel. The room had a lot of dust and the carpets were dirty. I would not recommend staying at this hotel pr even think about this hotel as there are better accommodations elsewhere.

The hotel was close to the castle and gardens also close to the bus station with a direct bus to the port to travel to Naoshima.
The staff were very friendly. Traditional Japanese breakfast was very good.

The hotel is inflexible. We needed to adjust our schedule depending on what time the room cleaning is done. I also asked if we can stay one more hour after the designated check out time, which I think is accommodated by most of the hotels worldwide, but I was asked for an one hour over stay charge for that!

Nice Japanese style hotel. Simple, but adequate.
The heating/cooling system made strange clicking noises in the night, which woke us up. Don’t know if we could have prevented that somehow.

Unfortunately we walked here from the station in the rain, only to have to stagger up the front stairs with our suitcases, we later discovered that there is a lift in the carpark, underneath. The check in clerk was quite abrupt but the other staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. As with all the hotels we have stayed in, in Japan, the room was small but well equipped. There was no need to bring any toiletries on this trip. The bed was quite low but very comfortable When we checked out we left our luggage at reception, every hotel, so far, has been happy to do this. As it was still pouring with rain, we ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. The waiter was lovely and tried his best to inform us of everything. This was an interesting, enjoyable, experience. We had no idea what was going to arrive at the table next, all beautifully presented and delicious, although the squid was a bit tough. A really good meal

Great Japanese style room for family

After many small hotel rooms at similar prices, this hotel provided an excellent Japanese style room with 4 comfortable futons. Rare in Japan the seperate rooms for toilet and bath/shower were also welcome. Good central location, the hotel is ideal for day trips to Miyajima and surrounds.

Very nice hotel in Okayama city.

We book a 4ppls Japanese style room. The room is large and very clean. The Japanese style shower room and the separation of toilet and shower room is very good which is seldom in Japan city hotel. Check in and checkout process is quick.

Great hotel

The room we had was brand new with a lot of light and extremely clean. We chose the traditional Japanese style room and it was really comfortable.
The hotel staff was really helpful and nice and the hotel is conveniently located.
Overall a really nice stay!

Calue-for-money choice

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Two adults and two kids in a reasonable-sized Japanese room. We drove to Okayama and there are plenty of parking space there. It only costs 800 yen a night to park the car there. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the JR station. The hotel isn't of any fancy type. It is down to earth and clean, staff are helpful. And there are two laundary machines there which came very handy for us.

Comfortable budget stay

This hotel is located half way between the station and castle. 15-20 min walk or catch the local tram.

My room could be described as semi western/Japanese with raised floorboards with comfy double futon for the bed area. Luggage storage and coat hangar space adequate for single traveller.

Two washing machines with dryers are located on the 10th floor though I would allow an addition 30-60 min dry cycle.

Staff have limited English support however guest needs are more than adequately addressed.

Checked in early to be told they didn't have room we requested. After prolonged discussion (language based) were given a twin room after requesting a double. The room was so small had trouble getting our bags inside. While accepting that Futons are part of Japan, 2 hard mattresses thrown on a raised area of the floor, didn't have that authentic appeal. To top it off they wanted you to remove your shoes and put on theirs for the one step to enter the room.
If figuring on staying more than one night, forget it.

Centrally located hotel in Okayama

My son (7) and I recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel was a good location for us (close to friends' restaurant and house, and 2 play parks). It is also next to the mall, a large department store, bus station and main post office. All the main tourist sites as well as the JR station are a 15 min walk away. The staff didn't appear to speak English but I can speak basic Japanese, so they might have been able to... Our room was Japanese style and comfortable, with views over Okayama. The decor was slightly tired and would benefit from a refurb but overall I would stay here again, and my son said it was his favourite hotel in Japan.

Nice, clean, modern and well located.

I have stayed one night at this hotel and have like the traditional Japanese yet modern feel of the room. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is located a short walk away from the Okayama garden and castle, art museums as well as good shopping and restaurants.

Strange set up, good location.

The lights were controlled by having the room key in the wall including the bathroom lights and the t.v. Only 1 room key for guests which was inconvenient. Internet only in the lobby. Walking distance to train station, Okayama castle, the gardens and the performing arts center. Boutique restaurants and convenient store close by.

與岡山車站距離約1公里餘
步行距離可及(其實天滿屋本身旁就是一個大型公車站亦可利用)
(當然也可搭路面電車前往)
只是我家喜歡散步移動兼感受異國人文風情

飯店旁有一間在地(中型)超級市場
可原汁原味融入日本人在地生活節奏
價位當然更親民

本次入住日式四人房
適合行李量不多的家庭居住
滿目所見都是日本人國內移宿使用
住房率頗高
想必深受日本國人肯定

我們有移動換宿再回來住
期間飯店人員有協助大型行李的處置
實在非常感謝~

お部屋は、ベッドはありませんでしたが、それが逆によかったです。
小さい丸テーブルがあり、そこにみんな集まり、次の日の予定を話し合ったりとしてとても良かったです。

ただ残念なのが車で行ったのですが、止めるのも出るのもかなり大変でした。

駐車場をお安く提供できるためなので仕方ないでしょうが、かなりの上級者でないとか駐車するのが難しく感じました。

岡山駅から歩いて向かいましたが、ホテルに到着するまでに沢山の飲食店があり、トラベラーとしてはワクワクしました。お部屋も快適で不満点は特に見当たりませんでした。ホテル前の飲食店で食事をとり部屋ですぐ寝れて疲れが取れました。

前回、利用させて頂き快適だった。又、スタッフの方も親切だったので再度利用させていただきました。今回は部屋のタイプが違ってダブルのお布団でした。とっても気持ち良かったです。
岡山は日帰りを含めて3度目、地理に自信が無いのでいつものホテルだと安心出来て助かります。娘の嫁ぎ先なのでこれからも度々お世話になりたいです。

チェックアウト前にもかかわらず、清掃スタッフの方がドアを開けてこられました。内側からドアバーをしていたのでまだ良かったですが、突然のことで何事かとかなり驚きました。
また、チェックアウト済みのお部屋から清掃を始められることに違和感はありませんが、10時頃には清掃スタッフの方々が大きな声で打ち合わせ始められました。チェックアウトは11時まで可能でしたが、気になってゆっくり過ごすことができませんでした。
あと、お部屋入り口の床には「このお部屋では、皆さまに清潔で快適にお過ごし頂くために、こちらからは靴を脱いでお過ごしくださいますようご協力をお願いします。」との注意書きがありますが、カーペットにはシミ汚れがかなり目立っていました。もちろん靴を脱ぐことに協力はしましたが、いくらスリッパを置いていただいているとは言え、もう少しカーペットの状態を気にされたらいかがでしょうか。
それもあってでしょうか、普段は見過ごすようなユニットバスに落ちていた髪の毛も気になってしまいました。
以前別のお部屋に宿泊させていただいた際は、そのようなことを感じなかったので、今回はとても残念でした。

部屋の匂いがちょっと嫌。エアコンつけるとさらに臭いけどつけないわけにはいかない猛暑。カビの臭いなのかな？マスクして寝てた。風呂場の匂いも下水？っぽい。加湿空気清浄機も埃が溜まっていてつける気にならない。夏は特にだと思うけど、部屋の湿りが気になるので、除湿機が欲しい。
一番嫌だったのは、バスルーム全体の掃除が髪の毛だらけで全然なってなかったこと。あまり泊まりたくない。
受付、アメニティのインフォメーションが欲しかった。
インターネットは問題なし、シャワーの勢いもよい。朝は掃除の音？でかなりうるさいけど、掃除機の音はしない。昼間にしてるのかな？連泊で毎朝ゆっくり過ごす派だったので。

ホテル自体はそんなに気になる点はなく、ごく普通のホテルってかんじでしたが、朝食を大人1人1300円で子供700円で付けたが、お魚がメインでそれはおかわりできなくて、その他はビュッフェ形式ではあるが漬物、サラダ、生卵、味噌汁、カレーくらいしかないため、こどもが喜びそうなウインナーやスクランブルエッグとかがあればありがたかったです。
値段の割にビュッフェの内容が微妙だったのでそれだったら他のモーニング食べた方がいいかなと正直思いました。

急遽の旅行で近くまで来たからネット予約で妻と2人で宿泊したが、セミダブルとあったが普通のシングル程の幅。狭くて十分な睡眠は取れなかった。

また朝食は1人1,300円だったが和食しか無く、他のビジネスホテルと同じレベルでこの値段は高いと思う。フルーツも無し。チェックアウトして外食すればよかった。

また駐車場も提携だったがそれなりの値段がかかった。事前にちゃんと調べておけばよかった。

ユニットバスがリフォーム済みとのことで値段も安く予約しました。水廻りは綺麗ですが広げたルームウェアのボタンに髪の毛が絡まっていたり、椅子のシミが座るのを躊躇するほどでお薦めはし難いです。
ただ、土曜泊で6,000円を切るので値段相応だとも思います。

They sold a single room for a double room price. It was really cramped and the matras’s springs were done.
Staff were really friendly. Parking in the basement for ¥800.

スタッフの方は丁寧でした。岡山駅まで歩いても行けますが、交通手段も充実していて便利でした。向かいにダイソーその隣にドラッグストア、コンビニスタバもすごく近くて利用しました。気になったのは周りの部屋の音が少し聞こえるところです。
